I don’t remember the name of the guy white meets right before taking the diplomats test, but for a character with two scenes, he’s probably one of the most pivotal characters in the show. The gang showed White another way to fight, but this guy single-handedly checked White’s privilege which led to White eventually confronting his father and leaving the path he was originally set on, where he would passively go with the flow and fit in the role that was provided for him, and making his own path and his own identity as well as giving him the mindset for how to fight effectively.
