And now, for some shit ain't nobody asked for... *drumroll please...*
Fanboy Futturman Headcanons That Hardly Make Sense Unless You're Deranged
(because it's fun)
Tumblr media
Tags: just rawdog it bruh, idk what this is. I got fucken murmed.
Notes: Special thanks to @luverstream for going insane with me. This list is based off of our oddly specific thread. Love you pookers <3
                        °☆>》¤●¤《<☆°
• 100% started writing fanfiction for 'Biotic Wars' because there was only two works in the whole fandom and they were both illiterate/ooc
• It started as a challenge because he likes writing as a hobby so he made a random account on Tumblr and wrote a one-shot from Tigers POV just for shits and giggles
• He didn't expect literally anyone to read it, maybe a couple notes
• Then around his lunch break the next day his phone won't. Stop. Dinging.
• Long story short, he ends up with an account with like. 1.1k followers
• Once he realizes he has a serious reader base, he takes his blog seriously
• He spends a weird amount of time perfectly curating his blogs aesthetic with mods and whatever extentions he can find
• Personally commissions other fans for his fanfic borders, proper gifs, etc. He has one fanfic actually illustrated for Kinktober and it stays at the top of the 'Biotic War' tags for months
• Speaking of Kinktober, literally will not make plans for October/late September because he knows he's gonna aim to post everyday
• Will stay up for days writing when he gets hyperfixated
• Hates posting short fics. If the number doesn't end with a .k he doesn't post it until it does
• Also has a bunch of Easter eggs from his favorite movies and such in his works as well
• Knows an insane amount of copywrite laws because he's had to deal with people illegally selling his works/uploading them on other platforms
• When he eventually gets a partner he initially lies and says he wanted to become a lawyer when he was a kid, thus why he knows so much
• That works for about 12 minutes before he finally breaks down and tells them the truth, then offers to show them his work because he's told literally no one in his personal life about it
• His partner eventually becomes his editor and co-author on certain works (mainly smut)
• Half the time when he's actively working on smut he's gotta stop midway to "test the accuracy" w/ said partner
• Writes OUTRAGEOUS smut that makes him unable to look in the mirror while he's writing it
• Deadass hides under his blankets in total darkness with tape over his computers camera because of the shame
• Has a collection of proofreaders/consultants because his first smut included cervix penetration and he got dragged by basically everyone on Tumblr for it
• Had a work get popular enough one time one of his friends sent it to him because they figured he'd get a kick out of it
• Which made him panic and stop writing for like a month to lay low
• Has a completely different Spotify account for writing because his mom uses his "normal" account even though he has a family plan (side note: they make little playlists for each other :))
• Has like 50 different playlists dedicated to his fics that's available for his readers to listen to
• The artists all range from Deftones to dodie depending on the work
• His top artist is Ayesha Erotica with 2000+ minutes spent on 'Yummy'
• (Also has an impossible amount of hours logged on said Spotify account)
• Has a whole panic attack when he leaves his phone in the 60s because he had a whole new chapter ready to publish in his 20 part hurt/no comfort/slowburn fic that was over 10.k words in his notes app
• Wolf finds his Ao3 account one time and becomes... concerningly obsessed with Futturmans work without realizing Futturman is the author
• It gets to the point Wolf will legit go on 30+ minute rants about the stories while Futturman is just hyperventilating in the corner because he doesn't know how long he can keep up the facade
• It gets worse when Wolf makes an account and starts actually commenting on the works
• However he ends up getting impressive tips from the rants and ends up incorporating his suggestions into his works
• Wolf never stops bragging about this
• His most popular work/series follows a female oc that originally started as a one-shot request for a oc x Wolf fic (which Wolf hates because he says it's OoC. Futturman does not agree nor care.) But ended up getting popular enough there's well over 20 parts
• At some point he, Wolf and Tiger get into a massive argument because he finds a bound copy of all of his works amongst their supplies and no one will confess who's it is and keep blaming each other
• (It's Tigers)
• When he gets to his final timeline he manages to get his all of his drafts back through Susan (who had a lot of questions, and was given no answers) and just publishes his work as an original series since Biotic Wars no longer exists
• "Orginial series" gets insanely popular and now he has like five burner accounts so he can read fanfiction of his own fanfiction
• Writes fanfiction for his own series purposely to fuck with the fanbase
• Usually will make it ooc but well written, but once in awhile comes up with a "headcanon" that will come true in his next book so he can watch the readers implode
• And last but not least
• He casts his other self in the final timeline as the male lead in the eventual movie adaptation. Because of course he would
(Bonus: in the OG timeline when Futturman ends up disappearing, his biggest series ends up never being finished, nor his blog updated. Leading to a weirdly thorough four hour video docuseries made by Wendigoon about the rise and disappearance of the mysterious author and how the 'Biotic Wars' fandom eventually finished the fic themselves and created their own spinoffs, leading the work to get more popular than 'Biotic Wars' ever was and like five different people falsely claiming they wrote it, only to be disproven within an insanely short amount of time. Yeah, kinda a full on My Immortal.)
                           >¤》○《¤<
Don't ask me what this was, I think I got possessed. Anyways, bon achoo sweet.

Mashle 2 Episode 2
Other Episodes-> ep1 ep3 ep4 ep5
This episode was a riot. It was so much fun.
Tumblr media
SO many random HP easter eggs and we get some new fun characters!!
Specifically, Margarette Macaron!!
Tumblr media
I love them. Non-binary, music magic, and a love of tartar sauce (and a motorcycle in the ending credits!). (It me? maybe.) Despite seeming like an overused Okama-trope, I have hope based on the spoilers I went searching for. I'm so hype for more of them in the next episode.
VA Squee: They're voiced by Koyasu, Takehito!!! The voice of Dio Brando! Touji Fushiguro! Faust VIII from Shaman King! and Clayman from TenSura!!! A very masculine voice that can also take on feminine tones and a perfect fit for Margarette. Manga Spoiler: I wonder if they'll have another va...
Ep 2 Spoilers Under the Cut! Warning IT'S SO LONG THERE'S SO MUCH.
We open in the middle of the decision to execute Mash or not, and Dumbledore, Harry, and Draco having a stand off lmao
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We learn that Whalberg/Dumbledore is a famous wizard because he fought with Innocent Zero in his youth.
Tumblr media
Does this mean the shadowed Innocent Zero who was called father by Cell War is the equivalent of Grindelwald, and Evil Jesus(Cell War (or cell wall if you wanna be a pun) is Voldemort? (Also is it father or Father lololol)
ALSO, ARE ALL THESE NAMES FROM A RNG OR PUNS CAUSE I CAN'T TELL YET lmao
We get a little speech from Wahlberg reminiscent of one of Dumbledore's speeches, but more importantly, WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF RAYNE ALSO BOWING???
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also his protecting the headmaster is a cute touch
I get that he is one of the Divine Visionaries, but is he more important than the others? He's still a student, wait, HOW DO STUDENTS HAVE THIS MUCH POWER IN THE GOVERNMENT?? NO WONDER ITS FUCKED UP??? Did I miss something??? (His reasoning for not wanting Mash dead also being the flashback to Rayne thanking him for taking care of his little brother?)
And of course Mashle can't be executed, so they set they give him a task to delay his sentencing...
The original goal Mash had in the first place, so ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS CHANGED.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Them backing the fuck up as Mash punches the floor is fricken hilarious. The best parts though...
1) Innocent Pero / Innocent Gyro - Thats a great subtitle translation choice, because they can't do a straight translation. Mash calls them Innocent Pero, with pero being the onomatopoeia for LICKING something in Japanese (WHATS THAT IMPLYING :EYES:), so Innocent Gyro is a good choice XD
Tumblr media
and 2) the scene cuts to the bad guy's lair... which also seems to be shaking...
Tumblr media
(I went and installed a gif maker for this >.>)
DON'T TELL ME. IS THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS UNDER THE BUREAU OF MAGIC????? (This is my theory and I'm sticking to it. Season 1 semi-stuck with random Philosopher's Stone plot points and the secret rooms, so it can be a semi-safe bet that season 2 might follow Chamber of Secrets?)
We then jump to an outing at the near by town to celebrate Mash Avoiding Death.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ The normal one ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓
Tumblr media
Finn is the only actual normal one, WITH STYLE AT THAT, and I love him for it. (However he might also be the target of a Brother Complex and end up on the receiving end if Rayne can get over himself>o>)
The fucking Koalas...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What The Fuck Lmfao. That's all I have to say (but also this is a common gag for Japanese comedians and high school boys so... Still WTF. (This had my Beetle killing himself with laughter))
3 Wizards and a Macho walk into a wand shop and...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And the Macho is the one to get a wand. I'm so fascinated by this. How much damage is this thing going to do when Mash finally yeets it at someone???
The entire second half episode is so cute. Mash is so happy to have friends... I'm so happy for him....
Tumblr media
But Also. Poor Finn. Look at these Freaks (affectionate).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
YOU'RE ONE TO TALK. But Also Poor Finn.
Tumblr media
The last bit. Our introduction to Margarette Macaron.
Tumblr media
The fucking... shrimp.
Tumblr media
Literally
It took Too Much Time for my ace-ass to realize they're THRUSTING the shrimp into the tartar sauce.
Tumblr media
I love them? I love tartar sauce too. It's delicious.
They are so over the top. I love everything about them.
I've added too many photos to this post and tumblr is yelling at me.
So I will leave off with my hype for Rayne vs Margarette in the next episode!!!
Tumblr media

Why I think Dad for One is canon (A long-ass essay)
Just putting my two cents on this theory. I saw someone recently post an analysis and a bunch of proof, and I thought some things were missing/not clear. Just wanted to voice my thoughts before this theory is confirmed or denied.
=======================================
Just a warning: I found most of these points while doing research, so some of them are a bit repetitive and not my original ideas; I just wanted to put all the proof in one place. Also spoilers ahead obviously.
=======================================
Part 1: Who is Hisashi Midoriya
·       Inko’s husband
·       Father of Izuku
·       Has a fire breathing quirk
·       Took a work post abroad
That’s literally all we know about him. He is only mentioned in the series once (Chapter/Episode 1), when Inko visits a pediatrician who asks about him, which is how we found out about his fire quirk.
The name “Hisashi” comes from the Japanese phrase “Hisashiburi”, meaning a long time (since the last time) or first in a long time. This could insinuate it’s been a long time since he has seen his family; or, since we know All for One is 150+ years old, the phrase could insinuate he’s been alive for a long time.
I also want to point out the Kanji in this name. Horikoshi likes to sneak in easter eggs or certain hints in the names of the BNHA characters. This is what I found:
The kanji used to write the name “Hisashi”:
·       久: "long time"
·       永: "eternal"
·       尚: "still"
·       彌: "complete"
·       長: "long"
·       寿: "life"
·       昶: "long day"
It clearly emphasizes the “Long time” part.
I want to point out another aspect in his name, the “Midoriya” part.
There could be 2 possibilities:
1.     Either All for One made up this last name
2.     “Midoriya” is actually Inko’s maiden name she gave him and Izuku
Now I see a lot of people saying it’s common for Japanese men to take their wives last names’, but I don’t see anyone posting proof (from the series) about this. We don’t know how common this is in the BNHA universe; until I came across this:
Tumblr media
So we now know this is a common practice in the BNHA universe. It doesn’t seem far fetched that All for One wanted to forget about his past/past family and have a new family. I think him taking the “Midoriya” from Inko was like a new beginning for him. He didn’t want to associate his new family with his criminal activities or his past.
Part 2: The Quirk
Hisashi Midoriya has been confirmed to have a fire breathing quirk.
Now why fire breathing?
I guess its simple and wouldn’t cause too much trouble. He didn’t want anything flashy in case it attracted unwanted attention.
All for One has AT LEAST one fire-based quirk. We see proof of this throughout the series.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In both photos, AFO is using a fire quirk. So we can now confirm he has at least 2.
Bonus point: Notice how AFO never specifically uses fire breathing. This is because he would damage his oxygen mask and respiratory support. He can’t use this quirk. How ironic and well timed is that?
Part 3: His “work” abroad
I heard many people say they think Hisashi works in America, which I think is highly likely.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We know AFO has been overseas. Especially America. In the manga panel above, is an image of the Chrysler Building in New York. Different angles but its clearly the same building. AFO could be sending letters, payments, packages to the Midoriyas from New York; to make it look like he was working a normal job in the US.
Part 4: Izuku and genetics
1.     I want to point out Izuku looks more like his mother then father. We know this because he gets most of his colors and features from his mother. This isn’t really surprising, as we see other main characters, like Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo who get most physical features from their mother. Denki and Jiro are other examples.
2.     Izuku does indeed have some resemblance to All for One. Not just in one panel, but SEVERAL. Here are just a few examples:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t see any other person in the same poses as Izuku and AFO. Coincidence? Also, a young AFO bears very strong resemblance to Izuku. I honestly think he cut his hair shorter as he got older.
3.     The x-ray: Let’s assume the x-ray the doctor shows in episode 1 is real. As generations pass and evolve, the extra joint in the pinky toe disappears. It appears to be unnecessary. Let’s assume both Hisashi and Inko are forth generation users. They both would not have this feature. How is it possible that Izuku inherits it? AFO is a first-generation quirk user, it is 100% certain he has this extra joint, therefore passing it onto Izuku.
4.     All for One is very likely to have a quirkless child. More then 80% chance. Quirks back in his time were extremely rare. I know there are many other quirkless people (Melissa, Aoyama, Jiro’s father), but its very rare and unlikely. The quirk gene should be dominant.  You see most of the older generation having more quirkless individuals then the new generation. There is a 20% quirkless population worldwide. Don’t forget that Dr. Ujiko runs several orphanages and hospitals worldwide. There is a chance he helped AFO steal quirks from children or even babies, later making them think they are quirkless, increasing the quirkless population.
5.     Izuku is very plain looking. In chapter 363, we see AFO’s true face. According to BNHA logic and even a lot of fans, he looks very plain, any ordinary guy you might see at a Home Depo on a Sunday. In a world where quirks make a person unique, this is a bit surprising. You see every character has a unique feature connected to their quirk. Both Izuku and AFO are just plain looking characters.
6.     Ever notice how much Izuku gets injured when using OFA? More then he should? Maybe its because his body isn’t evolved enough to be able to handle such evolved quirks (Quirk singularity). If this is true, Izuku being a first-generation user makes sense. AFO’s body cannot handle how strong quirks have gotten, which is why he used Tomura Shigaraki as a vessel. Izuku must have the same body type.
7.     Usually, people who use more then one quirk become brain-dead monsters. That’s why Nomu exist. Izuku has like, what, 7 quirks now from the previous users? How does his body handle all these quirks?
8.     Parallel to Yoichi Shigaraki: Yoichi (AFO’s brother) and Izuku are very similar. They both have a strong sense of justice, strong willpower, both love/want to be heroes, and both are OFA users who were previously quirkless. The series started with AFO and his family and will end with AFO and his family. Family is clearly an important theme, otherwise why give AFO a brother he loves? As Izuku looks like AFO, Tomura looks like Yoichi. Izuku and Shigaraki mirror AFO and his brother.
Part 5: The doctor
These two are the same people. You cannot tell me otherwise.
Tumblr media
He goes by many names, so lets just call him Dr. Ujiko. Dr. Ujiko was Izuku’s pediatrician, and the one who diagnosed Izuku quirkless. He is also AFO’s doctor and partner in crime. Now, why take Izuku to this specific doctor? That is a very odd coincidence. According to his wiki page, Dr. Ujiko is famous in the area for being the head of several hospitals and owning several orphanages. Meaning he is an important man. Clearly, many people would want to take their children to him.
Tumblr media
We see in chapter 301 Endeavor and his wife visit Dr. Ujiko. We know this because they are in the same building Inko and Izuku were in. Endeavor is an important hero and has a lot of influence, of course because he was desperate for a perfect child, he would only go to the best doctor.
Inko does not seem to have any influence or important backgrounds, how did she get an appointment with such an important man, who is well renowned and has celebrity heroes as his patients?
Hisashi Midoriya of course. He would have enough influence and know the doctor well enough to convince him to diagnose his son. AFO must have told the doctor about his wife and his child, and out of curiosity decided to take Izuku in as a patient. Maybe even agreed and conspired with AFO about the diagnosis.
Bonus point: I notice how Dr. Ujiko asks “What is your husbands quirk?” in the anime and some translations of the manga. A lot of fans say if he knew AFO was Hisashi, why would he ask such a question? AFO has many quirks, he likely does not know what quirk AFO told Inko he had.
Part 6: Parallels with Tomura Shigaraki
It has been confirmed that AFO and Tomura are a dark parallel to All Might and Izuku. Izuku was taken under All Might’s wing, a hero. Tomura was taken by AFO, a villain.
Wouldn’t it make sense, if Tomura’s ancestor was a hero, and Izuku’s ancestor a villain?
I heard a theorist say: “Tomura descends from a hero, while Izuku descends from a villain.”
Its literally a perfect parallel.
Part 7: AFO vs Izuku
There is almost NO direct interaction between Izuku and All for One.
Back to Kamino, when AFO revealed himself a few minutes before All Might appeared.
All for One KNEW Izuku and his friends were behind that wall. Because his stole Ragdolls quirk: Search.
“Search allows the user to monitor and observe up to a hundred people at a time. This includes knowing their locations and weak points. The individuals being observed are visualized through the Quirk as star-like vestiges and can allow the user to know their location up to even miles away. Search also permanently stores the information gained after its usage”
Why not attack Izuku or kill him and his friends when he had the chance? He has had so many opportunities. He killed all other previous users of OFA, why is Izuku an exception? Especially when, unlike All Might, it’s so easy for someone like AFO to kill Izuku because he has no control over OFA and not on pro-level yet.
Tumblr media
When AFO is later arrested, All Might asks if AFO wants to kill Izuku. AFO laughs and doesn’t confirm it. All Might made up that theory himself. AFO’s demeanor changes; it’s like AFO avoids talking about Izuku. For someone who is is very chatty, All for One is awfully quiet here.
Tumblr media
Bonus point: One thing I really can’t understand is why AFO talks shit about Izuku in the manga later (Chapter 287 specifically). Calling him “Worthless”, “Weak”, “Unworthy of the power”. He literally makes fun of him in the OFA world. Not something a father would do. However, what if he was just trying to break his spirit? Maybe destroy his self-worth in order to take him in and manipulate him into hating heroes? (lmao poor Izuku his dad is literally talking shit about him. Dad of the year y’all)
Tumblr media
Part 8: The Horikoshi interview
In 2018, when asked when Izuku Midoriya’s father will make an appearance, Horikoshi said this: "Deku's father will be revealed in the future,"
Key word: Revealed
He said REVEALED not introduced.
Tumblr media
Meaning we have seen his father; we just don’t know it yet because it hasn’t been revealed.
I believe Horikoshi is a smart man; he clearly thinks before he speaks, and he has been definitely PR trained. Was this a hint? Foreshadowing?
Part 9: Fucking Star Wars
The most common annoying-ass argument that people bring up when it comes to this theory.
In all honesty, its just very cliché and repetitive. I think that’s why BNHA fans are against this theory. Horikoshi would just be plagiarizing Stars Wars at this point.
I also heard arguments like “We already have a Star Wars reveal, the whole Dabi saga and Tomura is Nana’s grandson”.
I think Horikoshi might pull the “I am your father” card as a final homage to the famous franchise. He had taken so many names and ideas from the franchise what will stop his from doing this?
Here are just A FEW examples of him using Star Wars for BNHA (I found these on the internet since I know nothing about Star Wars) :
·       Tatooine Station. A story has to start somewhere.
·       Hosu, Tokyo. A harsh place in both stories.
·       Wookiees. The furriest shopping mall ever!
·       Kamino. Makin' copies!
·       All for One. Darth Vader doppelganger.
·       Mustafu: Named for Mustafar, the site of Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi’s last battle.
Its so blatantly obvious the man doesn’t even try to hide it. Literally took the same names. Did the Star Wars creator not sue him for copyright?
Also Parallels to the characters:
·       Deku is Luke
·       All might is Obi-Wan
·       Gran Torino is Yoda
Star Wars story in a nutshell: A teacher figure (All Might), takes in a nobody (Deku) to fight evil, and turns out the evil is his father (AFO).
Horikoshi has taken so much from Star Wars, why would it be surprising that he pulls this? We have had so many plot twists, surprises, and reveals throughout the story. Why wouldn’t he add more shock factor?
Part 10: Extra easter eggs and theories
1.     All for One’s prison number is 1541. The 41 stands for “For One”. What about the 15?
Tumblr media
 2.     Tomura and Izuku have similar red shoes. As a child and young adult, AFO gave Tomura the red shoes when he was found under the bridge; could he have bought Izuku the same/similar shoes from the same brand? Maybe an American brand?
Tumblr media
3.     In episode 76, when Deku fights against Overhaul, AFO’s theme plays.
4.     There is never any mention of Hisashi Midoriya after chapter/episode 1. Why? Whenever Izuku is in danger/on the verge of a tragedy, he calls for ‘Mom’ and ‘All Might’. Are Hisashi and Izuku not close? Wouldn’t a father overseas call his son or have a relationship with him? (As a university student who’s father has been working overseas for 5+ years I would know) Izuku doesn’t even acknowledge his father, not even in his thoughts. Hisashi has never once visited his family. Is this because of AFO’s injury he can’t see his son or wife?
5.     It makes no sense to introduce a new character so late. As of writing this, we are in the final war arc (chapter 364).
6.     “Wouldn’t Izuku recognize his fathers voice?” I think this is because Izuku was so young when his father left that he does not remember. Also, AFO uses a breathing mask. His voice is very strained especially after All Might left him disabled; he might have damaged his speech or vocal cords.
7.     Izuku is the only one who was able to talk to the vestiges of the previous OFA users.
8.     I heard a lot of people say “I doubt AFO would want to conceive a child”. How do you y’all know that? We don’t know what his moves are or what he’s thinking. His relationship with Inko and Izuku is either a loving one or an experiment. Who’s to say he doesn’t have other children out there? As long as he’s a man it’s possible. We don’t even know who he is, just that he wants to commit evil. That’s literally his personality.
9.     If Hisashi is clearly an absent figure, why even mention him? Why not say he died or divorced Inko if he’s not that relevant? Unless he’s important in the story later?
10.     The fascination with quirks. I have yet to see anyone other than Izuku mumble and be so fascinated with quirks. Oh wait-
Tumblr media
11.     A conveniently ironic tale indeed.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night Part 3: Regional Differences
So...to go back for a second to the fact that I’m playing a translated Japanese version, let’s talk about cut content!
There are a couple of things that were cut from this game when it was released overseas, mostly minor objects that would have required some further localization which the team probably didn’t wanna be bothered with
For starters: there are 2 hidden familiars in the original version that are not present in western releases (PSP port notwithstanding)
In the hidden room where you’d otherwise find the Holy Sword you instead find the Nose Demon! He’s essentially a reskin of the normal Demon familiar you get later on, except he’s got a funny face and voice lines. Supposedly he’s based on a popular japanese comedian of the time, so I assume that the reason he was cut was because the joke would have flown over us westerners’ heads
In the room where you’d find the Sword familiar you instead find the Half-Fairy. She works exactly like the normal Fairy except she has different voice lines....and a very cool easter egg attatched to her: if you sit on a chair and don’t move for a couple of minutes she will sit on Alucard’s shoulder and there’s a chance (it’s random and she would not cooperate with me at first here) that she will then start singing this beautiful little melody which I’m going to show off next time :)
I’m going to assume that the reason this one was cut is because not only would they have to translate the song but also have someone sing it and given the quality of the english voice cast yeah forget it
There are other, minor differences, such as the ghostly priest in the Cathedral actually having a voice line where he does a little prayer while he’s totally mute in the international release
Speaking of the english voice cast I guess I’m sort of obligated to talk about them eh? Well let’s go over them!
Rober Belgrade as Alucard should not work for all intents and purposes, mainly because the actual tone of his voice is the literal opposite of his japanese va (same guy who voices Zero in Megaman X btw): Alucard is supposed to be an elegant, refined yet coldly stoic prince, so a soft voice that can still command respect fits him, while Belgrade is far too baritone. Yet despite this he still ends up sounding iconic because he’s pretty much the only person in this cast who genuinely tried to do his best. It’s a case where the voice itself shouldn’t fit but the delivery of the lines saves it
Dracula’s va (same guys who voiced the protagonist of Silent Hill 1 btw) sounds like he was convinced he was supposed to perform a parody of a Shakesperean play, he sounds so over the top he ends up sounding funny. The voice itself does not match the artwork nor the general idea of Dracula as this dark and intimidating figure
I don’t wanna harp on too much on Richter’s va (same va as Chris Redfield from RE1 btw) since the man died a bunch of years ago, but....yeah he was clearly reading his lines in the opening. He gets a little better in the rest of the game but that’s the extent of it
I’ve heard folks say that they can’t stand Maria’s younger sounding voice in the PSP port because she “doesn’t sound mature enough”, to which I ask: You do know she’s 17 here right? Granted I used to know girls in High School that had relatively deep voices, but Maria here straight up sounds like your average sultry sexy lady, much older than what she’s supposed to be, while she’s actually supposed to be a more mature version of her Rondo self: still pretty upbeat and cheerful but with more maturity on her
Lastly let’s talked about flimsy localization!
One of my biggest gripes against SOTN for the longest times was the number of secret moves and features the game does not tell you about
Some of these I’ve never minded because they’re minor and I can understand why they’d be secret, for example the secret moves that some weapons can perform? Just a cool little thing that you can accidentaly find out on your own while fumbling with the controls (which happened to me). The ability to use any spell without buying them at the shop by just knowing their commands? Well late game spells destroy the early game so of course it’d be a secret, plus again you can discover this accidentally on your own. The Shield Rod spells? Well those HAD to be secrets. The Wing Smash? That...I’m more salty about because Alucard’s flight is slow as sin without it but whatever
My real issue was always with the High Jump and the Skill of Wolf power ups, mainly because you had to find the correct relics for them...but then the game wouldn’t tell you how to actually use them (technically speaking you can still boost with the wolf after acquiring thePower of Wolf Relic, but no version of the game, not even the Japanese one, tells you how to do it with this Relic alone. Tbf it’s a very simple command, just double tap either left or right, but the Skill of Wolf Relic actually allows you to immediately run on a whim with no build up, thus allowing you to use the ability much more frequently)! Not only is this dumb because, while not strictly vital, these moves speed up exploration big time (especially in the Inverted Castle) but also because it made the feeling of discovering these relics pretty moot.
That is until I played the japanese version! Turns out that in this original version the in-game relic descriptions for these two actually DO contain the button inputs for how to use them. Just to be sure I even briefly played through an untranslated japanese rom and lo and behold!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I may not be able to read kanji, but I can recognize arrows meant to represent button inputs!
So thank you english localization for making me think for over 10 years that Sotn was more cryptic than it actually is :)

im thinking of random toh headcanons ive got floating around in my head:
1. i feel like this is pretty much fanon all across the board for the most part, but luz “weak nerd arms” noceda grew more physically active post-boiling isles but the difference isn’t really noticed until she’s in the human realm again and oh hey! that nerd from gym class? luz has got endurance in spades; she’s a regular at free running now. and she’s gotten an offer from the cheer squad to join once she returns but she turns them down. she and hunter go running in the park on the weekends bc luz is now a flexible speed demon and hunter’s kind of glad she can keep up with him.
2. hunter definitely gets into gaming. not just board games but mmorpgs and turn based games and all sorts. does he get into CoD? yes and no, bc on one hand, battling it out with a team with no lethalness involved helps burn out a lot of his anxiety that springs him into fight mode, but he can’t do mics bc his team mates are annoying and rude and will not take the match seriously like he does. he likes leisurely decision based games, like nitw and oxenfree, bc one, exploration and two, lore. the boy loves mysteries so he gets super into video game lore, im talking YouTube essays talking about themes and Easter eggs and pop culture.
3. willow tends to keep her insecurities close to her chest. she likes being the voice of reason and dependable for her friends bc she’s no longer considered useless “half-a-witch” willow, but she’ll avoid talking about her own emotions if she can. she’d rather put her energy towards something more constructive like her gardening and working out, and while her friends do their best to make sure she’s included in any and all bonding activities, willow will internalize. she will speak with Gus about it on occasion, and she feels only a little bit distant from Luz now since she and Amity are dating and she’s understanding, so inevitably she reveals bits and pieces with hunter. as a result, they spar whenever she has to deal with bouts of frustration. it’s shameless how they flirt.
4. since the day of unity and upon their inevitable return to the boiling isles, Gus wants to use his illusion talents in a more self-defensive manner? generally it’s used more for distraction and evasion, but when he starts working out with willow and hunter, combined with input from amity whose magic is mainly combat based, he becomes more flexible with how he uses his illusions.
5. on top of combat, Gus spends his time building his knowledge of the human realm, which goes without saying, but he partners with Eda on selling her human realm products now that they know what things actually are and what they’re used for. human realm technology becomes pretty popular in the demon realm bc of Gus.
6. amity and her father finally get closer. it’s really slow-going, but with her mother out of the picture they’ve gotten a chance to experiment with abominations with honest-to-titan creativity, and not just creating abominations for combat. as a result, they start trying to use abomination clay for more practical every day applications like construction and travel, but also abominations to explore areas of the isles that are too dangerous for normal witches to access.
7. Gus and Matt still help protect the looking glass ruins, and they’ve grown closer in their friendship. Gus is still leagues beyond Matt in terms of illusion magic, but Matt inspires creativity in mischief, so they become a prank trickster duo that rivals the Blight twins. and since Gus loves to express himself creatively, they end up reinvigorating Hexside’s long dead theater program. they are the most beloved theater kids in the entire school.
8. hunter and willow dance around each other for a good year and a half after the day of unity. their friends have a betting pool going on. Hunter fell first, but Willow spent a good while trying to figure out exactly why she’s so attached to this boy. when it finally hits her she adamantly refuses to talk about it, and they are the friends everyone thinks is already dating. Luz is in agony. Amity is amused. Gus is amused. all parties involved in the bet are just eating popcorn.
9. and I only just realized this like a week ago when I was rewatching the first season with my friend, and it’s not really a headcanon but more of an interpretation I guess BUT. but of course, magic is a gift from the isles, which is the Titan. and who was with Luz when she first discovered the light glyph? King. Luz was chosen not because she was destined; she was chosen bc she wanted to love and protect her friends and family. King chose her, didn’t even realize it, because of who she is as a person. because she loves him and he loves her and this realization MAKES ME SO EMOTIONAL TO THINK ABOUT. THE POWER OF CHOSEN/FOUND FAMILY IDC IF THIS DOESNT MAKE PERFECT SENSE IT DOES IN MY HEART.

50 page reward
I'm horrible at maintaining a schedule; I'm horrible at forming productive habits; I'm horrible at working on creative projects over multiple days. But I've made 50 entries into this story, it may not have been as consistent as I would've liked but I've done it!
So as a reward to myself and a treat to my readers, for ever 50 pages I'm going to catalog all the missing lore, easter eggs, and timelines.
Thank you to anyone who interacted with my posts. It has kept me in a creative mindset over these last few months.
I voted for you/you for a stereotypical choose your own adventure story but later rooted for we/us
This was the first poll I voted for the majority. Tumblr did end up getting a second pet rock anyway (but it died)
I voted for tavern to try and expedite the RPG nature of the story
I was trying to get tumblr money to spend in the market.
I put seduce the thief to eliminate the seduction option right away
Throuple was doomed to fail from its inception. I wanted to give characters some agency (and giving myself some control over the narrative).
Once again I voted for tavern.
I voted for leveraging the crime to help Freylin divorce Etmund. Seeing lawful good win was shocking, given all the options.
My 6 year old niece actually did provide these answers. She had to be prompted into other answers though because "Panic, worry and scream" were originally 3 separate answers. I did vote with the majority though.
Again trying to offer Tumblr the opportunity to action, although I did vote to work the farm for the resistance.
I intentionally limited the amount of votes so I could actually plan a little bit better here. I voted collect dues.
A chance to build lore, build social connections, and possibly missions. I voted for the mumblypeg.
Dujard and his story are analogs to Full Metal Alchemist. His brother; however, is in fact truly dead Dujard is mentally incapable of accepting this fact, and personifies an empty suit of armor. This plot line has yet to be explored.
I basically guaranteed Quality Earthworks by Ea-Nasir would win. They are not the same Ea-Nasir, though I debated it. I voted for conjuration.
I voted for mingle, because I had no clue where to go from here, and hoped that I could build around some additional character development.
Blorbo was named after the iconic ambiguous gender neutral term for a character one is obsessed with. I also left the option open for a more useful spell. I normally build rogue classes, so I voted for soilfoot.
This is where the boar storyline took formation. I had only planned for Tumblr to encounter a hunter if they chose cliff or creak.
I left no choice but to go with Vaylii, I had to force the polls into social interaction with her. based on later polls this works in her favor.
The WoW option would've been Leroy Jenkins-ing that shit, and oops too late would've found Vaylii attacking without warning, making two of the option not actually sneak attacks.
Each of the spells was programmed to do something different. The winner of the poll genuinely was the right answer.
Hellsight is obviously a reference to Hellsite. Hellsight (derogatory) would've had Tumblr gouge their eyes out and replace them with the boar's eyes.
Vaylii being possessed was genuinely an afterthought. I needed to demonstrate what hellsight was. I'm kinda glad "gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss" one.
I voted with the majority.
I voted with the majority. I love being the little spoon, too. Touch-starved beat out horny!
Voted with the majority. Heavily debated whether or not it would be the resistance or the king's guard.
My streak was broken.
I voted to take Bristkruv shopping to try and develop the characters more, but foraging works. According to Sun Tsu foraging alone is not a sustainable way to feed military campaigns.
I voted with the majority, I was actively rooting against Vaylii.
This was the first poll I introduced skill checks. I was debating if the house would be occupied or not. I voted with the majority.
The well was going to be a reference to the goonies, the ring, or silence of the lambs depending on how it was investigated. I also debated making the wine cursed: I never revealed that it was: but its kind of negligible at this point, if it had been it aided in Vaylii's transformation.
Reimú and Shurmalg got high off mushrooms.
This is where I planned Vaylii's transformation, unless Tumblr played the simple pattern. This is why I voted for stab themselves, which caused a tie. This was the first tie of the story.
I like how this is written to be as fast paced as the characters experience it
I voted for no, despite rooting for yes, because personally I'm in too deep.
I was kind hoping Tumblr would join the resistance after meeting them, and abandon the Vaylii questline.
I did not actually plan for where she went.
This sidequest was lore I had built into a DnD campaign that was never finished.
This played out perfectly.
This too played out perfectly.
Choose your own combat is surprisingly hard to write, it's not like DnD at all.
I was hoping for give it the crown back, but I voted with the majority.
I did plan the basilisk egg but only under the exact conditions the polls chose.
The interactions with this man are loosely based off of my father's herpetocultural education career.
I was absolutely lost her, I planned for none of these options.
I knew secret fourth option would win: I was debating between a secret path or what I ended up going with; I ended up with falling to punish risky behavior. I had plans for all other options as well though. I had planned the entire portal sequence starting here: so I knew how to progress the story towards it.
There is something living in the pool of water.
This was the first tie where the answers were complete antipodes. I had different plans based on each option.
I did not plan for a tie in the previous poll though, which is why this poll even exists, some of these options might have occurred in other timelines of page 47. I'm glad I was allowed to tell my ideal scenario because the unreality of the Nether was amazing to write.
I thought sacrifice boar was going to win, but I voted with the majority. I was the tie breaker for boar and blorbo. So I went ahead and killed off both of them.
The basilisk egg would've been inverted if it got to choose who to sacrifice. Since I planned it's escape, I went ahead and included it in this entry. I also include a reference to the poem “Tiger” by Noah, age 6 herein.

If you were Taylor and was ready to come out, how would yo do it? (I am a Kaylor, so please don’t get hung up on that, there is some fanfic here. :). All in good fun.
I wouldn’t say shit. I would announce the tour, promo all the interview circuits, finish that….I would open my first concert in 2023 with Are you ready for it? Then roll into Style and have Karlie and Taylor hold hands while walking down the catwalk stage, with Karlie wearing that damn smoking hot black cape from VS 2014. Taylor could wear rose blush. We would hear in the background “Karlie and Taylor in 3 2 1……” before they hit the stage.
The crowd would flip. The Hetlors would enjoy it because their friendship would be rekindled. Then there are us Gaylors. There would be an Absolute ROAR through the crowd. We know what she would be declaring. (Like she has already declared for us anyway.) But I would like to see her GET THE GIRL. That would be the third song. 4th song Sing Call it what you want , Karlie what you want. Sing I want her midnights….Then I would close the show with Get Away Car. Then just live her life with a smile and a wave. Let time go by…….post pictures of Big Sur…..I would have daisies everywhere.. I would ABSOLUTELY drop a million Easter eggs in social media and have a blast with my fans. Gold tattoos, Karlie in a gold dress, drinking beer out of plastic cups. I could do this all night long. Polaroids for days.
Finish the concert. Start holding hands in public, don’t do interviews for awhile…(Just to terrorize everyone.). She owes nobody an explanation. No Oprah, no Ellen. Nobody gets to profit off of her. Just let people speculate. She is a master at Easter eggs and dodging questions. . They will move on. (Oprah and Gayle King have been together forever, they never made an announcement so it ended up being no big deal. They are always at each other’s sides)
Straight people don’t have to come out as straight. She shouldn’t have to make her private life a spectacle. Let’s just not make it a “thing” We need to let her be the first to do it differently and make “coming out” normal. Just don’t give it air.
No interviews - she won’t have to explain everything from the past. The 2 of them can just smile and move on.
The lack of interviews and no backtracking would also allow her to keep her integrity, keep everyone else’s private lives in tact, and her full fan base in place.
I was a big fan and did not pick up on SwiftGron/Kaylor/Gaylor for a long time. I’m a STAN now. But honestly without a lot of press- people can only speculate. If you are a STAN - then iykyk.
It would be the sweetest con. Coming out with no questions answered. It could be the new normal for everyone. It’s nobody’s damn business. And that is how it should be.
And please don’t read this thru the lens of not honoring the gays big moment. This is about her not us. I want her to just let the crowd speculate and have fun with it. Can you imagine how much fun her videos would be going forward and all of the Easter eggs about a wedding.
If Kimmel asked her if it were true, she could look at the camera and blow it a kiss and say “wouldn’t THAT be juicy”. Evade and live her life out and proud.
But mostly have fun with her life. Life is too short whoever she is with I want them to be happy.
I love Blondie! Your turn! This is meant in all fun.

With 2022 drawing to an end, I’m going to talk a bit about my top five favourite games of the year...
Is that a thing people do on Tumblr? Well, it’s a thing I’m going to do because I need to ramble about my fixations somewhere!
5) Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Tumblr media
I feel like I was too hard on Kirby and the Forgotten Land when it came out. When it first released, I was surprisingly indifferent to it? I enjoyed it overall, sure, but found it to be a surprisingly “safe” game for Kirby’s first* 3D outing... but as the year has gone on I have grown to appreciate it more.
In the game, you play as Kirby (or, if you’re the second player, Bandana Dee) and explore an Earth-like planet, trying to rescue Waddle Dees and solve the mystery of what is happening... Like most Kirby games, it takes a hard turn into cosmic horror in the last 30 minutes, but the game is still a very cute, relaxing, and cozy experience overall...
*Yes, yes, I have played Kirby’s Blowout Blast. I meant, like, traditional 3D Kirby.
4) Horizon Forbidden West
Tumblr media
I’m not convinced I actually... like open world games, to be honest? Like, there’s so much discourse about map markers and progression and the best ways of guiding someone across a world, but my general experience of open world games is getting bored very quickly, regardless of the approach the progression takes...
I do really like Horizon though and I think that’s primarily because of the strength of its worldbuilding. I played the original game on a whim, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the world, the mysteries, and the characters... and Horizon Forbidden West really just improved on all of those! The parts of the world explored in the Forbidden West feels a lot more unique then other pieces of media, in both design and lore, and due to it being a sequel it is able to lean into worldbuilding around things that were plot twists in the original game.
Also this is one of the only non-indie games where there were enough queer characters that, at a certain point, I lost track of how many there were. So that’s neat too.
3) Potionomics
Tumblr media
I think Potionomics is the defining 2022 game for me. It just embodies a lot of what I played overall this year, as a game including life simulation, deckbuilding, and romance elements...
In Potionomics, you play as Sylvia, who has just inherited her uncle’s potion shop. With the help of a talking owl that just so happens to be living in the store, you have to brew potions and ascend to greatness, while navigating such #relatable challenges as “debt” and “anxiety.”
I think I’m always going to love games that gamify ordinary experiences. There’s just something inherently entertaining to me of the absurdity of having a deck-building system full of normal experiences and where the main goal of “combat” is to sell people a potion without accidentally getting too stressed and having a panic attack...
2) Marvel’s Midnight Suns
Tumblr media
I think Midnight Suns could have been marketed a little bit better. I’m not an advertising expert, of course, but my impulse is that if you have a game that is half Fire-Emblem-style socialization and slice-of-life antics, then maybe you should... advertise that half of the game and not just show off the combat? As, yeah, this is a tactical card-based Marvel superhero game, but it is also a game where you can run around the Abbey trying to find the cat of your adopted Sapphic ghost mom Agatha Harkness.
I’m really enjoying both sides of the game. The combat is sleek and fun, the social aspects are really entertaining, and they have made the loop between them very fulfilling. Plus the Hero Ops provide so many easter eggs and cameos that this is easily the most fleshed-out a superhero game’s world has felt, at least to me.
1) Monster Roadtrip
Tumblr media
Breaking News: Amageish likes Monster Prom.
In Monster Roadtrip, you join your friends Polly Giest (a party-loving ghost) and Scott Howl (a very caring and very stupid werewolf) on a roadtrip. With up to four players, you take turns choosing where to go and trying to avoid any of your stats reaching 0, which would leave you stranded on the side of the road...
I think this is the best-balanced Monster Prom series game thus far by a country mile. In this game, every choice you make will modify your stats in both positive and negative ways, allowing for a lot more adaptability then previous entries. It’s also a much more refined multiplayer experience as all players sharing resources means you’re constantly engaged in what as happening, as opposed to previous titles where, if your friends weren’t actively trying to romance the same people as each other, your experiences were largely unconnected from each other. This game also doesn’t require or expect you to be interested in sex and romance, which is very nice...
Beyond that, this game is just very funny. I think they nail down their tone more and more every time. It has a lot of unique art and sprites used for one-two scenes, which are just a delight to see.
And that’s my thoughts! It’s been a solid year for games, at least from what I’ve played, and I enjoyed what I played!!!

Space Pirate Lesbians
Contents Overview 2 Characters 2 Pirate Crew 2 Eliza/Elisabeth 2 Joceline 2 Weapons expert 2 Janitor 2 Isabella 2 Others 2 First Antagonist 2 Vladimir Poutine 2 Main Antagonist 2 Rich NFT Guys 3 Enemy big brain droid 3 Space Russians 3 Cyborgs 3 Security guards 3 William K. Overview Starts off very tacky, standard 2D platform and visuals, and escalates after a significant character death of the main character’s girlfriend (she dies brutally, in an airlock). During the ensuing panic after the unexpected incident, the original main antagonist takes pity on the main character, seeing how she reacts to the loss of her girlfriend, and promises to help her find and defeat whoever killed MC’s girlfriend. Characters Pirate Crew So the game begins with you as the leader of a pirate crew whose members are: Eliza/Elisabeth - main character, captain of the space pirate ship. Joceline - an asexual female hacker is later revealed to have altered the main character’s memory to remove her first encounter of the first main antagonist. This is because she felt that the MC had been torn apart by guilt and grief by what she had done with the first antagonist (killed his family) pregame. Weapons expert – female who uses a lot of makeup, earrings, nose piercing, green lipstick etc. Has a lot of weapons. Janitor – male veteran, responsible for multiple war crimes, seems underpowered at first, and does not do much apart from maintenance of ship. Isabella - your girlfriend, demolitionist. Starts off as a very prominent character before going missing in the first part of the second section of the game, which involves you breaking into the first antagonists place of operations to see your girlfriend brutally murdered in an airlock. Others First Antagonist could act in a similar way to Emerald from Steven Universe in Part 1, being a stereotypical villain. Throughout the game, more is revealed regarding his past experience with MC, such as how she accidentally killed his parents. After the first part he pities and relates to MC, having also lost a loved one, and agrees to help her find and get revenge on the killer. Vladimir Poutine is bald, and always seen wearing a bulky black metallic armour covering everywhere but his head. He is arrogant, and the leader of a large space empire based off of a random moon that lost orbit with its planet. He is effectively a man-child, who gets what ever he wants by force. He tries to make a name for himself by taking credit for the murder of Isabella. Main Antagonist, killed Isabella, could be working under First Antagonist (although not for him). First Antagonist did not order the execution of Isabella.  Maybe s/he wants to please their boss, or maybe they love their boss and want to avenge their boss’s parents’ death through extreme means. In their love for the First Antagonist, they became a murderer and would kill or do anything necessary to make First Antagonist happy. Is also a threat to international security. Rich NFT Guys They own a capitalist space ship, which is shipping NFTs. You can steel the NFTs and their money, because NFTs suck. Enemy big brain droid, effectively a brain in a jar on top of a metal barrel, which has two tracks to move, and two machine guns either side of it. Space Russians wear black military uniform and work for Vladimir Poutine. Cyborgs, humans who are part robot, working for the Main Antagonist. Security guards, wear standard black security uniform (tuxedo with badge and black trousers, earpiece and a black security hat). Work for Rich NFT Guys. William K. Afton, minor easter egg character, still isn’t dead, he always comes back, whether he likes it or not. Normal Captains, run standard freight ships which you can rob. Also hire security guards in lower frequency. Standard freight ship crew, wear everyday shipping overalls (like a red bobble hat, yellow socks, green boots, blue jeans, yellow jackets etc.) act as the bulk of security for freight ships.   Game Play You operate off a main pirate spaceship, from which you can upgrade. This is partially based off Starbound, which is sometimes referred to as space Terraria. When going on missions or looting, you bring parts of the crew with you, who will be able to combat different obstacles, or help in certain situations. E.g. with certain obstacles, such as reinforced doors or defences your girlfriend Isabella will be able to use explosive to remove them. As captain you will be able to order members of your team to do certain things, such as engage in combat and you can order crew members to do things they can’t do, but this will take longer and sometimes won’t work at all. If your orders are rubbish, or you are not nice to your crew, they may avoid completing in the way you set them out or outright refuse to follow orders. Graphics: title screen will have 80s neonesque vibe. Graphics overall will be made quite similar to 80s style space fiction, except without the goldfish bowl hats, and conversation graphics will be similar to that of Stardew Valley. Bright vibrant colours like purple, yellows, to again reaffirm the 80s vibe, similar to what you see outside American diners. Environment Based after a very large, controversial war between 2 superpowers, in which multiple atrocities were committed by both sides. It is common to come across a completely abandoned planet which has been completely destroyed by chemical or biological weapons, and is completely uninhabitable. The divide between the rich a poor has neither increased nor decreased, although national debt for most countries, even those not involved, has increased. The war has also caused divides in society and increased xenophobia’s.  Shipping large quantities of goods throughout space is very common, and large space ports exist all across the universe. Multiple domains, such as the British Empire, span the universe in a large amount of different sizes and power. Although there is still a large amount of unclaimed deep space territory between them. Plot I Vibe check hostiles with explosives Vibe with GF Very GF and MC centred Space loot plunder and steal Has a thermonuclear missile for no REASON BECAUSE WHY NOT References the next villain space poutine Kill a bunch of baddies Easter egg: wii fucking gun Fight against antagonist who is originally thought to be 1d, hinted background, but he always comes back, and then develops in section 2. GF says she has something important to tell you, then goes missing II In the first part of the second section of the game, you break into the first antagonists place of operations to see your girlfriend brutally murdered in an airlock. Then you receive a transmission from the second antagonist, Space Vladimir Poutin, who claims responsibility for the murder of said girlfriend. In the next stage you fight the forces of Space Vladimir Poutin (SVP). After defeating him, SVP admits that he lied when he claimed responsibility for the incident at the start of the section. III MC and 1st antagonist are sitting in a bar, when they manage to deduce that MC’s memory has been altered to make her forget killing the 1st antagonist’s family in a hostage situation gone wrong. It is quickly deduced that Joceline had altered the MC’s memory, and the MC’s girlfriend was going to tell MC the truth. Making Joceline the prime suspect. Although she admits to her crime of altering the MC’s memory, Joceline justifies doing so by claiming that MC was distraught with guilt, and she tried to help the MC the only way she knew how, through technology. Joceline heavily denies killing the MC’s girlfriend, although she does feel guilt about Isabella, and confirms that this is what she wanted to tell MC. The killer could be connected to, but not acting under orders from the 1st
Multiple planned ENDINGS Janitor blows himself up to kill the killer of Isabella, but may not be dead, because we don’t actually see him blow himself up. We see a final transmission from the Janitor and then take control of him while he blows up the spaceship. Genocide route, where you kill your crew, fight Janitor in a sans-esque boss fight. The first antagonist will realise that grief has turned you into a monster and decide to take both him and you down in a final boss fight where loser dies, and if you win your ship explodes going too close to a black hole into which 1st antagonist was driving the ship, and both of you float off into space (alive in a space suite).
Risks and Mitigations The game might take longer to develop than expected, so trailers and advertisements should only be released once it is certain that the game will be produced b a certain time. If this fails to work, we can announce delays when development is taking longer than expected. The game could accused of queerbaiting, this could negatively impact the game’s reputation and reception. We could deal with this by denying all claims and listening to the community. We could also mitigate the risk by instead of focusing on a person’s characteristics for what they are (eg. this character is gay) for who they really are (e.g. trigger happy, nervous, shy). People might not like the name of the game and resort to violence to prevent it being published. The name will not be changed however, rather presenting the game as a certain political agenda, or neutral. We could also go overbudget. To mitigate this risk, we should try to use less than the whole budget given, to reduce the chance of going over limit, and reserving a part of the budget in case such a thing happens. The game could end up similar in quality to High Guardian Spice, to mitigate this risk we will actually pay our employees, and make sure that all content is of high enough quality to be feasibly produced.
Timeline Two teams communicating very well, one developing art assets, the other code, plus soundtrack developer and marketing person. Two artists and two programmers working in proximity for easy communication. The soundtrack developer will have to be communicating closely with both teams to get a feel for the game, so the soundtrack is of a high quality. Artist1: pixel art, in game sprites and art, graphics. Artist2: handling more in detail high-quality cut scenes. Both programmers are working on the game.
The game may take anywhere between 2 and 4 years to develop.
MONTH CONTENT MANAGEMENT 1 Plan 2 animator, 2 programmers and soundtrack composer hired. 2 Base game engine with minimal art, mostly place holders 3 Basic pixel art complete as well as 1st chapter base complete 4 More fleshed out physics and in-game mechanics 5 Completion of all of art for chapter 1 6 Basics laid out for chapter 2, start work on high quality animation of Isabella blowing up 7 Working on the explosion 8 Chapter 2 50% complete. Most base art work for Chapter 2 and the blowing up of Isabella should be complete. 9 All game play assets for Chapter 2 complete 10 All art for Chapter 2 complete. Base game for Chapter 2 complete. 11 Polish Chapter 2 and 1, begin development for Chapter 3. 12 Basic art assets for Chapter 3 complete. 13 Gameplay for Chapter 3 complete (good ending). 14 Final Boss for bad ending complete. 15 Main endings complete. 16 All endings complete. 17 Flesh out more aspects pf gameplay, e.g. more weapons, armour and enemies. Hire PR person. 18 Market game. JUnit test the game. Complete and add soundtrack. 19 Create and release demo. 20 Use feedback to fix bugs, test to find and fix more bugs. 21 Polish game. 22 Create and release second demo. 23 Polish game more, contingency 24 Release.

The Slovenian Glossary - Part 3
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 4
9. Value
Blaine needs an evening to himself. He might brew a nice pot of tea and curl up on the couch underneath a fluffy blanket so that he can read. He bought some new books from Mladinska knjiga and he’s been waiting for the right time.
Tumblr media
Mladinska knjiga is a chain in Slovenia. It’s a bookstore that also sells stationary and other little tchotchkes, like a reusable foldable bag in the form of a cat (yes, that’s what I bought there). It also sells English books, which is why Blaine bought some books there. There are a lot of Mladinska knjiga stores in the country. Ljubljana’s city centre alone has 8 of them. There are two on street 1! The one pictured above is the biggest one on the street, the Konzorcij one.
10. Overt
Nothing to say here!
 11. Education
There isn’t a lot to say here either, but hey, hey, hey, Dejan is a Slovenian name. One of my teachers was actually called Dejan. I didn’t base this Dejan on him, but that’s where the name comes from.
 12. Convergence
Kurt’s place isn’t glamorous. It’s a normal four story house that got turned into four shitty apartments for students. Kurt lives on the fourth floor with Sunil, André and a Slovakian guy who Kurt’s never talked to.
Kurt lives in the house that I lived in. I am not posting photos or an address, since you know, people probably live there. But yeah, this is a fun easter egg to me.
13. Pat
Also nothing to say here!
 14. Dispose
After classes, Kurt crosses the Three Bridges to go to VIGÒ, an ice cream shop. He and Blaine passed another VIGÒ in Koper, but it was too cold back then.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh VIGÒ. Ljubljana had a lot of ice cream spots, but VIGÒ is my absolute favourite and that’s because they have a lot of interesting flavours. The photo of the flavours is taken by me. I loved the Lila one and the VIGÒ one and my dad says that the Greek yoghurt one is one of the best ice creams he’s ever had. You can find some more of my photos here.
Anyway, the first building is the VIGÒ in Ljubljana, which, as the fic says, is found after you cross the Three Bridges. It is a beautiful building and it’s nice to sit outside (on a Friday… to watch the weekly protests) (do those still happen?). The second one is the VIGÒ in Koper. Like Kurt and Blaine, I passed it but I didn’t have ice cream there cause we saw it on our way out of the city.
As I mentioned in the author’s note, they apparently opened a second spot in Ljubljana at Kongresni trg. Looks like I have to go back to Ljubljana to see it for myself. Fuck the castle and other sights, I am here for VIGÒ.
Damn, maybe he shouldn’t go to VIGÒ. If the fact that he and Blaine walked past another store can trigger such a reaction, then maybe Kurt should just turn around and go to the Cacao.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cacao is another ice cream place. I admit I didn’t go there often, because I opted for VIGÒ. As you can see, it has a nice terrace on street 2 and there is also a smaller pop-up-esque Cacao somewhere.
15. Pump
“Quinn, I’m gonna go get that burek,” he says calmly. He is calm. Quinn being calm makes it easy to not feel bad. “It’s a twelve minute walk to Nobel, retour, and I still have to order and all that, so take your time.”
“Alright!’ Quinn yells from the bathroom.
“Pizza burek?” he asks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nobel burek is all over the place, even outside the city centre. This one on street 1 is probably the most “fancy” one, because the others are just counters out of a wall, or whatever it’s called. They serve pizza burek, which is burek with tomato and cheese flavour and it is so good. Good thing I found that I had made a photo of it. Fun fact, pizza burek is one of the last things I ate. When my parents came to pick me up, I brough them to all sort of places that had become staples of my time in Ljubljana, and pizza burek at Nobel is one of them.
 16. Maintain
Of course he has Sunil and Tadeja. He also has people from his classes and from his play, and the International Student Organisation hosts a lot of events. Kurt’s also gone to the gay scene in Metelkova a few times and he’s met really cool people there as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Metelkova is an interesting place. There are some politics around it, but I do not know the details so if you want to learn more, Wikipedia is a good place to start. Metelkova is the hub for the alternative life in Ljubljana, including the queer scene. I admit I didn’t go there a lot, because I do not like loud and crowded parties. Metelkova is most known for its nightlife and I completely skipped that, but Kurt doesn’t.
It looks like a mess. There is more quote-unquote proper mural art on the walls that surround it. When I show people photos of Metelkova, I always tell them this is one of the most famous cultural places in the country, and people don’t believe me, but what is culture anyway? What is art? If you want to dive into that, then you can also do that at Metelkova, since the area also hosts the modern art museum of the country. I went there to go to a Polish queer exbition.
Okay, I am going off-track here, because I realise I put a total of zero (0) museums in this fic, but I do want to mention the museum culture real quick. Ljubljana is filled with them and entrée is cheap. Every first of last Sunday of the month (I can’t remember), all entrée is free for everyone. One months I missed it, so I grumbled about having to pay for a ticket. I decided to do it to support this queer exhibition. My ticket was €3, because it’s €6 with 50% student discount. I was shook. As comparison, het Stedelijk Museum, the modern art museum of Amsterdam, has a ticket price of €22,50 (and €10 for students).
Not only that, but in march, there was a week where all museums were free for students. Coincidentally, it fell in the weird week where Slovenia was figuring out what to do with COVID, so all my classes were cancelled, but museums and other places were still open (till Friday, at least, that’s the moment businesses massively started closing on their own) (the country officially locked down on Monday). Basically, it is kind of a shame I didn’t find a way to weave the museum culture into this fic, but that’s where we have this glossary for.
Kurt and Sunil try to see the biggest sights. They go to the beautiful piazza’s and cathedrals. Kurt isn’t religious and Sunil is Buddhist, but the church did go big with the aesthetics and they can appreciate that. There’s also a castle just outside of the city centre and there is a gorgeous pier, since Trieste lies at the coast.
Tumblr media
Again, I didn’t go to Trieste. I was planning on going to it, but *gestures around* Italy in 2020. I don’t think that’s something the Italians would like to relive.
I did consider putting a bit more effort into the Trieste trip, aka to make them similar to the Koper and Piran chapters, but I had no clue what to write and it admittedly wasn’t the point of the chapter. Trieste was chosen on a whim to showcase that Kurt would drag Sunil with him. That being said, I did look up some things when I was still thinking about putting effort into it, and this place is gorgeous. I still hope to visit it one day.
“Roza Slon or Bistro Suwon?”
Tumblr media
This photo is from the Roza Slon website and I think it paints a great impression of Roza Slon’s vibe. Roza Slon is a Thai restaurant chain that is also all around Ljubljana. I think the one of the left is the one in Bežigrad, which is where I ate my last Boni.
Roza Slon was also at Open Kitchen, which we’ll get into later. Basically, it was good and easy Thai food.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Three photos of Bistro Suwon? Yup. That’s because it looks so weird from the outside, which is what you can see in the first photo. It’s basically underground, but inside it looks quite nice and when it’s sunny, it has a nice terrace. As I mentioned in the author’s note, I was under the impression that Bistro Suwon didn’t survive the pandemic, but it did. I decided to look it up, for shits and giggles. Like many other places, I never learnt the name, but I knew the location so I just started looking for it on Google Maps, because even if something is closed down, it might still show up on Google with the message that it is permanently closed, but hey, it is open!

This page contains a list of cheats, codes, Easter eggs, tips, and other secrets for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Genesis. These are cheat codes that can only be used with game enhancer devices. Support for these codes is available in most emulators. There are two. Sonic Origins cheats allow you to skip ahead with level select and edit levels with debug mode. Three of the games in the Sonic Origins compliation - Sonic 1, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles - have the same cheats available, but different inputs required for them to work. Most are based on the Mega Drive or Genesis originals, and work in a similar way, while others offer new features - such as the ability to toggle new abilities and rules into the original Sonic. This page explains how to enter Sonic Origins cheat codes for each individual game. All Sonic Origins cheats work broadly the same as the original games. First, you must enter the 'Level Select' menu screen, which requires you inputting a code on the title screen where you'll see the game's logo, before you start the first level. From there, to activate further codes, you must play sound effects from the Sound Test option in a specific order. If successful, you'll hear a sound effect, and can then use that cheat on a level of your choosing. All codes are below, divided into individual games in the collection. As well as this, there are some additional points to consider:. What follows is all confirmed Sonic 1 cheat codes which will work with the Sonic Origins version of the game. Click a score button below to add your rating Although there are no built-in cheats for Slay the Spire, players can download a trainer for the game that enables you to put the cheats into the game yourself. The trainer will allow you to use cheats such as the following. With regards to Health and Gold, the game has a tendency to notice when you have more than the average amount and will adjust, so make sure to set just enough to get you through the battle comfortably. If you would like to mute the hotkeys while playing so that you do not accidentally press them, you can press CTRL - H to mute and unmute the hotkeys. Thankyou for your vote! Comment 1. WIthin Slay the Spire, there are many relics to collect, some of these relics have some interesting power within them. Cards Each of the three players have their own set of cards to unlock. The way in which you unlock these cards is nothing easier than to earn points on each hero. To earn the points, simply play through games, at the end of each game, you will be awarded points based on the number of enemies defeated, bosses tainted, etc. Relics Relics are collectible content that gives a boost to certain stats until the end of the run. So finding Relics are an important step toward becoming the best. Obtaining these Relics are just like unlocking the cards, throughout the games, there is a chance that the Relics will drop for you. As long as you have not collected a Relic, there is a chance that it will drop for you during a game. Some Relics however are part of unlockable content marked with a lock and chains over them , these relics will not drop for you as long as they are still locked. The method involves saving mid-game, then quitting and coming back into the game. The game you were playing will play out in exactly the same way if you were to use the exact same moves. So you can use this to your advantage and play your game out with different decisions and hopefully scrape the win for yourself. The straight answer is never really straight anyway, it all depends on the situation. Knowing about the type of opponents and the strength and weaknesses of your class will mean the difference between wins and losses. The best way in which to progress with the least amount of difficulty is by choosing the correct path. Slay the Spire has elements of a dungeon crawler, which just means that the player ends up at crossroads and has to choose which way to progress. In Slay the Spire, the best choice of the road is one in which you would start by facing around 3 normal bosses. From then on, make sure that you have a rest before the Elemental Bosses, if not to heal, then upgrade cards to make the battle a little bit easier. One mistake many people make when playing card-based games is to think that if you have the deck that is the most complicated with every card buffing another that you will win every battle. The best solution, however, is to simplify the deck that you choose to take. Now that is asking for trouble. Make use of the card removal tool at every rest stop. You can use this to remove any troublesome curses and other cards from your deck. Mistakes that players can make when playing games, is to ignore the aspects that they do not like and hate playing. This is not a very great strategy as you will have no idea how to play against that type of enemy. The best strategy that you can adopt is one of practicing every element of the game, especially the element that you do not like playing. Learning these elements will help you beat the ones that you do not like easier and have less frustration while playing against them. Many players tend to avoid the elite fights when choosing a path, I mean, why fight the harder fights? While this thought does hold true in some aspects, it is not the best decision in others. Elite fights are the best source of Relics and will give you the best learning curve while teaching you the best loot. In addition, Elites are more predictable, so you might find more success in elite fights over regular fights. Are you enjoying Slay the Spire? Nintendo Switch. Share This. Our most popular games. Hey! Do you like tabletop rpg actual-play shows that are equal parts audio drama and improv comedy? You should check out the criminally underrated DnD podcast 'Dice Funk'. It manages to combine the comfy vibe of good friends chilling out together cracking jokes with some legitimately interesting worldbuilding that examines existing DnD lore and conventions to put its own spin on them.
Each season is a self-contained storyline with new characters so you can jump in at whichever one sounds interesting (you might get spoilered for some stuff 'cos the PCs have a tendency to make world-altering decisions that still have big repercussions, even with the substantial timeskips between seasons, but otherwise they limit any references to earlier seasons to non-essential easter eggs to keep things accessible).
Personally I started with seasons 3 & 4 and they served as a good introduction to some recurring concepts like "the World of Forms".
Below the Read More I'll break down each season so you can see what appeals to you:
Season 1, "Stoneroot": A noir-esque black comedy that follows a trio of varying levels of competence attempting to solve a simple missing person case that spirals wildly out of control.
I kind of think of this as the 'Here There Be Gerblins' of the show since it's the only season with a different GM so it has a pretty different feel to the rest of the show and takes a bit longer to find its feet.
Personal Highlight: One of the PCs rolls a 3 Intelligence, leading to a running segment where that player brings up monsters from the Monster Manual and asks the other players if they think it has a higher or lower Int than that PC.
Season 2, "Lorelai": A more lighthearted romp in which a cast of interplanar travellers explore the world trying to figure out the cause of a catastrophic flood and put a stop to it. According to the creators this was conceived as a cross between 'Princess Bride' and 'LoZ: Wind Waker' but morphed into more of a "moist Undertale".
Personal Highlight: The first time the GM has to portray a mysterious entity making deals with lower life forms he decides to portray them like a wheeling-and-dealing used-car salesman and it honestly made every scene they're in a delight.
Season 3, "Ilium": The party are trapped in a strange city that people can enter but never leave, taking whatever jobs will make ends meet. Inspired by 'Hot Fuzz' and 'Twin Peaks', this series places a lot of emphasis on how the supernatural elements affect people's normal lives and uncovering the many dark secrets these characters hold.
Personal Highlight: The GM wrote a custom "Wild Magic" table for the party sorcerer with some absolutely buckwild shit on it. I was on the edge of my seat every time it was rolled.
Season 4, "Valentine": A cyberpunk urban fantasy with near-future technology levels in which the cast struggle to make ends meet while doing shady jobs for uncaring megacorporations. If your familiar with DnD, this season's based on 'Shadowrun'. Probably the season most explicitly about how capitalism sucks.
Personal Highlight: One of the PCs is a wizard who uses yugioh-esque trading cards to cast their spells instead of a spellbook. I did not anticipate being so invested in their rivalry with not-Kaiba and neither did the player.
Season 5, "Markov": If you love unlikely found families then this is the season for you! It's a space-faring sci-fi story in a galaxy reeling from war with the colonialist Mind Flayers, setting the stage for a lot of political turmoil. If you're familiar with DnD, this story's based on 'Spelljammer' and absolutely riffs off of a lot of the bizarre ideas that setting introduced.
Personal Highlight: The Son Gun. I will not elaborate on what this means but you'll know when you get to it.
Season 6, "Purgatory": The season opens on a group of mortals who have just been resurrected and tasked with taking up the mantle of the Furies; interplanar assassins who traverse the various afterlives dealing with whichever god-like entities threaten the balance of power between the planes. If you've played 'Planescape: Torment' or are familiar with the city of Sigil you know what to expect.
I honestly think this might be the best individual season of 'Dice Funk'? Everyone's really firing on all cylinders.
Personal Highlight: King Badass has my heart. Y'all can't claim to support himbos and then not be supporting my favourite dumbass bae.
Season 7, "Wormwood": After all the previous seasons deconstructed a lot of elements of classic DnD ("what's up with certain species automatically being evil?", "isn't delving into a dungeon to murder its inhabitants and steal their stuff kinda colonialistic and messed up?", "how would access to magic actually affect the way a society functions?", etc.) this seasons brings this all together by having the closest set-up to a conventional DnD adventure. The world is post-apocalyptic and draws a lot of elements from the 'Dark Sun' setting.
Personal Highlight: Two of the PCs are a cult leader and his follower and I thought I knew exactly what direction that storyline was going...then it absolutely surprised me.
Season 8, "Grendel": I can't comment on this one yet since it's only just started but so far it has had a very cosy, 'Animal Crossing'-like vibe with a focus on a small community, in contrast to previous seasons' much higher stakes.
