was listening to IN LIFE and im crying ,,, skz made Real Good Music back then u guys 😢😢😢😢 like obv the old stuff (tm) isn’t easily beatable and noeasy is crazy delicious cohesive album but in life js works soo well in a way the most recent albums js Don’t for me 🫤 granted, i have yet to listen to 5 Star in its entirety, buttt idk from the clips and snippets i’ve heard online it’s looking uncertain
if i had to rank all 2020-2023 korean albums, excluding GO LIVE bcs we’re trying to not be TEWW biased here, in my frankly Correct opinion it’d go smth like this (things might switch up if i went into more detail and ranked the pros and cons, but not by much LOL) :
1. IN LIFE ( i don’t even listen to this 1 often but u have a banging title track and banging unit and b side tracks like cmon wtf !)
2. NOEASY ( listen it’s not js bcs this is probably the only Good title track they released since ( for legal reasons this is a joke 😪) but because it’s so sonically enjoyable like u have to see the entire picture ! even the order is important it takes u thru a slightly nostalgic journey and also i might js be a tad but emotional and biased bcs hyunjin made his return w this album and it was the most Perfect era EVER in kpop for skz to skz like
3. MAXIDENT ( ok it was a little boring for me at first i’m ngl but there’s a reason it was one of my most played albums of 2022 by my calculations ! like it lacked a lot in some places, did so much in others ( queens chill GMYTMI and superboard we thank u for ur hard work ) but it was Fun i liked it i vibed i chilled and case143 wasn’t really awful js wacky

ODDINARY ( i never say this on main but i absolutely abhored this mini JEJDJDJ to this day i still have a huge hate boner for it LMAO like it js felt like a copycat of the prev albums and not in a Good way i rarely play it except for when i wanna listen to lonely st and waiting for us like it’s that serious for me. also, the concept hair everything EW EW we did not give there at all i find maniac era to be a scourge on my life and everyone else should too ! it’ll kill u trust
there u have it everyone this is why u should all go stream top 3 and ignore ordinary w ur very dying breath 😢🙏

Stray Kids Ratings Week 1
It's officially been one week since you looked at me since we put out our Stray Kids song ranking! We've received 79 responses so far, and I wanted to share some preliminary data.
First of all, the song with the most 5's is "Easy" with 66% of respondents giving it a 5 (52 respondents). This surprised me, as a fairly new Stay I hadn't even heard this song before. Now, after listening to it a few times, I do agree that it deserves that rating.
The song with the least 5's is "Your Eyes", with just 3% of respondents rating it a 5 (2 respondents). I agree that "Your Eyes" is not Stray Kids's best work, but also their main listening demographic is not necessarily the audience that would most appreciate it.
Similarly, the song with the most 1's is "Youtiful", with 23% of respondents rating it a 1 (18 respondents). Again, I think an issue where the song doesn't appeal to all of the listeners.
When calculating the average rating, "God's Menu" and "Thunderous" are the only title tracks in the top five, with "Maniac" and "Back Door" also appearing in the top ten.
Incredibly, "Domino" and "God's Menu" have the exact same average rating.
The top ten songs, by average, span all major Korean albums, with ODDINARY giving us three of the top ten songs, and NOEASY and GO LIVE giving us two each. No surprise, since ODDINARY and NOEASY have the two of the three highest averages as an album, with MAXIDENT rounding out the top three (3.97 for ODDINARY, 3.88 for MAXIDENT, and 3.85 for NOEASY)
There are some other fun anomalies in the data - like "Silent Cry" doesn't have a single two rating - but I'll save those for later! Let me know if you're interested in seeing more data breakdowns, I'm a data nerd and will be looking at it anyway so I'll share if there's interest!
If you haven't filled out the survey yet, what are you waiting for? Spread the word! I would love if we could break 100 responses - that's the agreed upon minimum viable sample size for generalization, so it would give any findings more credibility.

levanter was underrated. all the drama in stayville at the time made it their most overshadowed title and its AMAZING lino falsetto lino silk shirts and it was their first time (in my opinion) experimenting with something a little softer title-wise .. and astronaut as the promoted bside was everything its one of my fave skz songs to date .
i have a complicated relationship with in life bc we got carrot lino my most beloved in the entire world..but no gods menu screentime :| ill die mad abt that ..BUT WE GOT PHOBIA which is everything to me. tied for no1 skz song. and carrot lino was in easy and he was so entrancing about it..he was literally a carrot ............. and ex..lino drinking water and blond changbin. literally.....my universe..ANY..like everyone knows skz bsides hit different but in life bsides are just insanity
and everyone knows noeasy is their best album and i think its really when each of the members got to shine; one of the things i associate with skz music the most these days is having what i like to call "lino songs" which are songs where lino is in the song . (my side, voices, boxer, airplane, levanter, mixtape oh, ex, the view, 3rd eye to name a few) his parts suit his voice so so so gorgeously and skz music does that for all the members really well !! noeasy has like half of my fav skz songs and is full of lino songs and she is untouchable. the view <3 star lost <3 mixtape oh <3 surfin <3
ODDINARY. this is changbins album i dont make the rules. as a very avid changbin gender supporter i am also an avid maniac supporter. its a perfect album !! im biased because i saw them for maniac tour and lino sang waiting for us to me. :( . i know stray kids are all all rounders so they couldve done the waiting for us/muddy water split literally anywhere but it really made me so emotional to see linos voice being so central in there :( its so warm and pretty and im tearing up typing this..lonely street is everything to me and also everything to me. miroh is an album for boxer and chronosaurus . i think my soul left my body when i heard chronosaurus for the first itme. its litearlly a perfect song its everything its so good and linos voice is literally linos voice good night !! one opinino i have about the skz2020 ver of chronosaurus is that seungmins line in the chorus is in every chorus and it used to be a little second verse treat as my fav one <3
3rd eye is tied for no1 skz song with phobia. florescence's lino 3rd eye fancam fundamentally changed me actually. i have nothing more to say. 3rd eye........the rerecording is so good too it sounds incredible and linos voice and its so creepy and nanvksjvnsd its perfect
voices. lino bridge. i remember when it was literally every stays favorite song and for good reason because its perfect !! every time i watches the voices dance practice i replay lino bridge like 943043 times. m.i.a..........they had no business making songs like that [cries]

Their debut era will always have a special place in my heart because I have a lot of good memories of my stay friend sending me stuff and telling me about them. (Felix rubbing off his cheek makeup so fans could see his freckles will live rent free in my head forever)
For album I'm gonna go with NOEASY because it has so many good songs, I have listened to a lot of its songs on repeat. XD
Oh also I am WHO because I adore Voices and Insomnia and Question and just everything on that album.

This one is gonna be long because I talk too much. XD
I've known of their music and been what I call "stay adjacent" since pre-debut, the stay friend I mentioned above was watching their survival show (JYP was evil for that from what I heard from my friend about it...) and kept telling me about them. I enjoyed their music and listened to their music up until Double Knot I think? That's the last one I remember. I didn't have time to stan and then I lost track of their music for a bit.
Then this year, I heard that they were going on tour and were actually going to be at a location it was feasible for me to go to. I decided to go because I knew I liked their music and missed concerts. Then I figured I should get to know them more if I was going to see them live and ended up falling head first into fully stanning them, and here I am.
