Ninjagotale Part 1, Act 1, Chapter 1: Your Best Friend

Suddenly I awake. Why? Why am I awake? Our plan had failed, hadn’t it? I should be dead, should I not?

I look at myself. I am wearing the shirt I died in, the green one with a cream stripe. I appear to be slightly transparent, and… I have no legs. My body stops at my waist. Am I a ghost? I must still be dead. But then how am I awake?

And where am I? I look around. Light shines into the room from a hole far above. The room’s walls and floor are made of dirt. Oh, this place. I fell here. But it looks different than before. The columns are gone. Golden flowers like the one in father’s garden grow beneath me, and… a child about my age wearing a blue and pink striped shirt and brown pants is lying on the flowerbed. They must have fallen too. Are they dead?

Suddenly they stir. They open their eyes. No, definitely alive. They look around groggily and blink a bit. Then their eyes fall on me. I notice they certainly do not seem to be phazed. Interesting. I would think my appearance would be at least slightly startling. After all, I lack legs. They look down at the ground.

“Golden flowers,” I tell them. “They must have broken your fall.”

“You seem to enjoy narrating a lot,” they say.

“Wait. Are you hearing my thoughts as well as my words?” I ask, my eyes wide.

“Yes. Are you able to stop?”

“I… do not think so.” I think for a moment, then shrug. “Perhaps you should just ignore me?”

“Sounds like that’s the best option,” they answer, getting up. They squint with their heavily-lidded yellow eyes down the hallway to the right. “I guess that’s the way out.”

“I suppose,” I muse.

“Very well. Are you coming?”

I am surprised at the invitation. But, I am not doing anything else. “I might as well,” I say, and float after them.

We enter into a much darker room with a small splash of sunlight shining down on a patch of grass. In the center of this patch of grass is a large, neon green and yellow lollipop - and it is smiling at us. Or rather, at the child I am following. Can it see me? I suppose not. I look at the child. They do not seem surprised at this strange encounter, and this does not change even as the lollipop begins to speak.

“Howdy! I’m Lolley! Lolley the lollipop!” it exclaims. It looks intently at the child. “Hmmm… you don’t look familiar, you must be new to the Underground! Welcome, pal! Before you go anywhere though, someone oughtta teach you how things work around here. I guess little old me will have to do!” Suddenly the world turns black and white. A red heart emerges from the child’s chest, a small aura surrounding it and leading back into their body. The child’s expression remains neutral.

“See that heart? That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being!” Lolley explains excitedly. “Your SOUL starts off weak, but it can grow very strong if you gain a lot of LV. What’s LV? Why, LOVE of course! You want lots of LOVE, right? Well, here, I’ll share some with you!” He smiles goofily, and little white pellets that almost look like fruit drops form above him. “Down here, LOVE is shared through… little white ‘friendliness pellets!’ Move around! Catch as many as you can!”

As the candies move towards them, the child dodges. Lolley smirks. “Hey. Buddy. You missed ‘em,” Lolley says flatly. “Here, let’s try again.” More candies form, and this time they are moving faster. The child dodges again. Lolley scrunches his face at them, obviously annoyed at this point. “Is this some kind of joke? Are you braindead? Run. Into. The. Bullets- I mean, friendliness pellets.” Once again, Lolley sends candies towards the child. They dodge once more.

Now, Lolley’s face dramatically transforms into a horrible, warped, beast-like smile. I look over at the child, who still seems completely unsurprised by this sudden change. How?

“You know what’s going on here, don’t you?” Lolley growls in a completely different voice. “You just wanted to see me suffer.” I gasp as the bullets form an inescapable ring around the child.

“Die,” Lolley says, and cackles maniacally as the bullets slowly close in. I watch, alarmed, as the child stands unmoving in the center of them.

“What are you doing?!” I cry in disbelief. But just as the bullets are about to hit them, they disappear. I look around in confusion. Lolley does the same, and seems to see something in the shadows behind him. With a fearful look, he retreats into the ground. I squint into the shadows, wondering what terrible creature must have scared this demonic piece of candy enough to send him running away.

I am surprised at what I see.

Ninjagotale Part 1, Act 1, Chapter 2: Misako

Mom? I think to myself. It must be. She looks the same as she did the day I died. Her white hair falls across her shoulder in a braid, and she wears her signature pale green dress with cream sleeves and a delta rune on the front.

“Mom! Mom, it’s me!” I cry. But she does not take notice at all. Then I remember that Lolley could not see me. My heart drops as I realize that Mom does not see me either. Only the child can. I cross my arms and look at the floor, a burning feeling building in my chest. Why? Why did I have to come back, only to not be able to interact with anyone except this child that I don’t even know?

Mom looks disapprovingly at the spot where the lollipop disappeared. “What a terrible creature, torturing such a poor, innocent youth,” she huffs before turning to the child.

Her wrinkled face breaks into a warm smile. “Ah. Do not be afraid of me, my child! I am Misako, caretaker of these ruins. I pass by here every day in case a human falls. Come, I will guide you through the city. Follow me please.” With that, she turns and walks through a doorway on the opposite side of the room. Without much of a choice, we follow after her.

We enter into a large entryway, with two stairways leading up to another door. Suddenly, I see a strange yellow star twinkling at the base of the steps. I look at the child, and they seem to have noticed it too. They don’t look very surprised though. Mom, however, moves right past it, not even glancing at it. The child walks over to the star and touches it.

“The shadow of Old Ninjago City looms above you, filling you with determination,” I say.

The child raises an eyebrow at me. I shrug.

“My child?” We look up the stairway where Mom is smiling down at the child. “Let us not tarry. It is dangerous for me to leave you alone just yet.” With the child supposedly having done what they thought they needed to do, we follow Mom up the stairs and into the next room.

We see her standing by a series of plates on the ground. “Welcome to your new home, young one,” she says. “Allow me to educate you in the operation of the Ruins.” She then walks across four of the plates and flips a switch on the opposite side of the room. A door opens. “The Ruins are filled with puzzles. Ancient fusions between diversions and doorkeys. One must solve them to move from room to room. Please, adjust yourself to the sight of them.”

I frown. It was not this tedious to get around when I was still alive. How much time had passed?

Mom exits through the doorway, and after giving the puzzle one last glance, the child follows, and I do the same. We emerge into the next room and have just enough time to take in the vines on the wall and the bridges over small waterways before Mom begins to talk again. “You will need to flip some switches to proceed to the next room. Do not worry, I have labeled them for you.” She the walks across the first bridge and stops in front of the second one. We are about to follow when the child spots a sign by the path.

“It says, ‘read the signs.’”

Then I see a sign on the wall that I recognize from when my brother and I would sneak in and play here. I see the child move to follow Mom. I smirk as I get an idea. “Wait! There’s another sign on the wall there! It might be important!” I tell them, pointing to the sign in question. They turn to me with another raised eyebrow, but they shrug and amble over to it anyway. I smirk as I follow them.

“Stay on the path,” I read, and snort a bit as the child turns to me with an unamused expression. I just grin back at them.

“My child, are you alright?” We turn to see Mom with a concerned expression on her face. Ignoring my giggles, they cross the first bridge and see the switch on the other side. It is labeled, “flip this switch please.” They flip it. Then they follow Mom across the next bridge. This time, there are two switches; one is clearly labeled, one is not. It is quite obvious which one should be flipped.

“Very good!” Mom says after the child completes the task. “I am proud of you my child. Let us move to the next room.” After she is gone the child checks the other switch. It doesn’t even work.

“You probably could have figured out this puzzle on your own,” I comment. The child shrugged, and I followed them into the next room. Mom is standing next to a robot which wields a spiked ball on a chain, a claw, and bamboo staff. Its head is topped with a triangular straw hat.

“As a human living in the Undergroud, monsters may attack you,” she explains. “You must be prepared for this situation. However, there is a simple solution. When a monster attacks, engage it in a friendly conversation to stall for time. I will come to resolve the issue. Please practice on the training robot.”

Without much hesitation, the child approaches the training robot. Suddenly their soul is pulled out of their chest, and the world turns black and white. I realize this is very similar to the encounter with Lolley. Except this time, there are more options. I can see four buttons, FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, and MERCY. Above them are what look like stats: HP 20/20, LV 1, and… my name. Before I have time to wonder why that is there, the child presses ACT. They are faced with more options: check and talk. They press check. Then they look at me. I wonder what they could want before noticing words appearing in front of me. I read them out loud.

*TRAINING ROBOT - ATK 0 DEF 0

*A metal heart and a glassy eye

*You are the apple of my eye

The child presses talk.

*You talk to the training robot.

*...It doesn’t seem much for conversation.

*But Misako seems happy with you.

*YOU WON!

*You earned 0 EXP and 0 gold.

As I finish, the world turns to color again. “Ah, very good!” Mom says cheerily. “You are very good. The next room awaits.”

Once again, we follow her into the next room. “There is another puzzle in this room,” she informs the child. “I wonder if you can solve it?” As she leads you down a hallway, we see a sign on the wall. We go to check it.

“The western room is the eastern room’s blueprint,” I read, squinting at the clue. “Huh. Wonder what that means.” I look over at the room behind us. There is nothing remarkable there, unless you count the strangely winding path. Suddenly I feel myself being pulled down the hallway. I look over to my right and my eyes open wide. It looks like the child has already moved on… and I am slowly being dragged along behind them by no effort of my own. I had never considered what would happen if I tried staying behind, but apparently I am not allowed to because of… something. Am I tied to this person somehow?

I am brought to a slow halt close behind the child. I look over to them to see if they noticed. They did not seem to. I furrow my brow, wondering why they seem so devoid of reaction. Before I can come to any conclusions though, my eyes land on the next room. I am taken aback as I see that the entire floor is covered in spikes. How does Mom expect us to get past this? She looks back at them, looking thoughtful. “This is the puzzle, but… Here, take my hand a moment.” I watch as the child obeys and allows themselves to be led by Mom toward the spikes. As she steps over them, they retreat into the ground. As I follow them across, I realize what the sign meant. The path across the spikes is the same as the winding path in the previous room. When we reach the end of the room, Mom turns back to the child. “Puzzles seem a little too dangerous for you to do on your own at the moment,” she tells them, and continues into the next room. Given the widely varying difficulties of the previous puzzles, I am not sure whether to agree or not.

Once we enter the next room, Mom looks at the child with a conflicted expression. “You have done excellently thus far, my child. However, I have a difficult request for you… I would like you to walk to the end of this room by yourself. Forgive me for this.” With this, she walks off in the other direction. Without any sign of bewilderment, the child begins to follow. I am about to do the same when I hear something behind us. I stop and whirl around.

“What are you doing?” I hear the child ask flatly.

“Shh. I heard a noise,” I hiss to them.

“What noise?” They sound incredibly bored.

“A giggle. It was really high-pitched.”

“Well it’s gone now. Let’s go.”

I give a huff of protest, but I know I do not have much of a choice in this matter. Reluctantly, I follow them down the hallway.

It feels like an eternity before we reach the end of the room. But Mom is nowhere to be found. The only thing that seems out of place is a pillar by the wall. When we are about to pass it, however, Mom suddenly appears from behind it. “Do not worry, my child, I did not leave you,” she reassures the child. “I was merely behind this pillar the whole time. However, there was an important reason for this excersize. I must run some errands, and you must be alone for a while. But I feel hesitant to leave you without any means to contact me… I know! I will give you a cell phone. That way you may call me if you are in need. You must remain here, for it is dangerous to explore by yourself. Be good, alright?” With that she leaves the room.

And then I gasp as I hear it again. Not a mere giggle this time, but words strung into a full sneer.

“Do you enjoy her babying you? Or are you too scared to go out on your own?”

Both the child and I whirl around this time. At first there seems to be no one around. But before I start wondering what some unknown symptoms of eating buttercups might be, I see it. Down the hallway behind us. I almost miss it, but I am positive I see a bright yellow and green lollipop disappear into the ground.

The Ninjagotale comic has been discontinued

This is not early April Fools. It is unfortunately the reality of the situation right now. Let me explain (synopsis of the story also under the cut).

There are several reasons that I am discontinuing the comic.

1. I can't get myself to do the next page. I just... can’t. Its not that I don’t want to get it out. I just lack the motivation once I open the file on my computer.

2. I feel like it’s not original enough. I can't call it my own. I got the idea from someone else (with their permission), and I know there are at least 3 more interpretations out there.

3. I want to dedicate the spare time I have to Insanity Brothers. Its a story that didn’t exist before, there's only one. And I’m far more excited about it.

4. Ninjagotale doesn't need to have anything to do with Ninjago anymore. That’s not what its about anymore. Its about the struggle between Yellow and the Chara of the world. The fact that the characters are all from Ninjago doesn't impact the story at all. Their personalities are the same as in Undertale, the rules are pretty much the same, it’s not that different. It can just be an Undertale AT with the regular characters and an entity that is chasing Yellow around, trying to get rid of them.

5. I am going through an extremely hard time right now. My brother has become emotionally and verbally abusive to the entire family and I need to get something off of my plate to deal with all of the stress of that.

I think I need to rethink the world and turn it into its own Undertale AU where it’s the same characters of Undertale except for Yellow. Yellow is very much their own thing. I also think what I’ll do is make it a concept/story that I continue to make content for, just not an actual comic. So I’ll release the story synopsis, everything, and I might make new designs and an illustration or joke comic or two, but not an official comic or fic.

Alright. Here’s the story that was going to happen.

Yellow has an actual name: Rhynn. Rhynn is the “Reindeer” child mentioned in the discord.

They were a kid from another AU whose creator was going to destroy it. Their parents were scientists post-pacifist route who worked with Sans on the surface studying the anomaly, and they discovered their world was about to be destroyed. So they sent Rhynn into the multiverse to settle in an empty world so that their world would build back up around them. But something went wrong, and their code broke apart and rearranged itself into a virus that can use anyone as a vessel as long as they have their soul. This virus then traveled between Universes, feeding off of the destruction they left in their place. Here is a little thing I made practicing gender neutral hairstyles that actually is concept art of Rhynn’s past vessels. It gives you an idea of what their stage one form is:

Rhynn’s stage 2 form is when they have a vessel but aren’t concealing themselves. It varies according to just how much they want to reveal. It can be anything between this:

The creature behind Frisk!Rhynn here is their true form:

The Overlord is not a virus, but a super powerful antivirus software trying to destroy the Rhynn virus.

Fast forward a thousand years of destroying things to Ninjagotale. The Frisk of the AU is about to fall into the Underground for the first time, but Rhynn intervenes and kills them, taking over their soul and body before they gain the ability to save and load. They then play Undertale normally, intending to reach the surface and spread destruction there.

However, the Overlord antivirus finds the Rhynn virus when Rhynn tells Lloyd/Asriel their true name. To throw the Overlord off, Rhynn swaps the AU and resets to “refresh” and activate the new code.

Hence we now have Ninjagoswap. Rhynn and Morro travel through the Underground, only to discover there is already a Morro/swap!Chara going through the Underground, doing a genocide route because he and much of the underground have been affected by the Overlord’s presence.

Morro, now the “fallen child” with a ghost Rhynn following them, hurries to Kai/swap!Papyrus to warn him about the murderous human. Kai joins them in hurrying to prevent Cole/swap!Sans from being killed, and they arrive, only to find swap!Morro already there. Instead of killing Cole, however, he uses his knife to corrupt him as well. Hence this illustration:

Kai knows he can’t win, so the good guys retreat. Swap!Morro and Cole then move through the Underground, corrupting everything. When they reach Jay/swap!Alphys, Cole easily overpowers him and corrupts him as well.

Meanwhile, Kai and Morro head to Nya/swap!Undyne’s lab to find her crying over Jay, having seen everything on the cameras. Nya agrees to help them, and builds the technoblades. They will have to enter the digiverse/void and use them to destroy the Overlord. Remember, they still don’t know that Rhynn is the true villain, so they’re all just going by what Morro relays to them from Rhynn.

Suddenly Jay, Cole, and swap!Morro all barge in and attack. Nya and the amalgamates hold them back while Rhynn creates a new save file, and this time they turn it into a fell world. They escape just before the corruption is too much and the world collapses. But unbeknownst to everyone else, the Overlord saves Cole just in time and brings him to the digiverse.

The Overlord tells Cole the truth and makes him his right hand. Cole asks if they have to kill his brother, because he still cares about Kai. The Overlord says if he manages to bring Kai to their side, he can be spared. Cole makes a vow to save his brother.

Meanwhile in Ninjagofell, Morro and Rhynn have switched places again since they’re not in a swap world anymore. Kai goes off to mourn for his brother by himself, so while he’s gone, Rhynn takes the opportunity to think about what to do next. They figure once they’re in the digiverse, they will be able to break rules enough to make Morro physical. So they have three people, but four technoblades. So they decide that they need Lloyd/Asriel because a god-like being would be a nice thing to have. But in order to do that you’d need seven human souls, and there are only six here, Morro points out. But Rhynn disagrees. Because Frisk has fallen down at this point.

Morro realizes what they are about to do, and they try to argue against it, but as a ghost, they can’t do much else. He watches helplessly as Rhynn steals the six captured souls and goes to find Frisk. They encounter them and Lolley as they are leaving the ruins and entering snowdin forest.

They access the code and rob Frisk of their control of the save file. Without having to worry about Frisk respawning, they kill them and take their soul. They then tell Lolley that they have seven souls now, and they need him to turn into Asriel to help them save the world. Lolley is too scared, so Rhynn changes the code again so that everyone forgets Frisk existed, and Lolley then complies.

Lloyd, Kai, Morro and Rhynn then head to fell!Cole to get him to help them enter the digiverse. They do, and upon entering, they turn Morro corporeal. Kai decides he’s had enough of following this suspicious child around and demands answers. Instead of telling him everything, Rhynn corrupts Kai and makes him a pawn of their own. Unlike the overlord’s corruption, the influence is less suggestion and more force by inflicting pain on the victim to get them to comply.

With the other three in tow, Rhynn makes their way through the digiverse, which is basically the Underground but looks like the digiverse from Rebooted. They arrive at Judgement hall, the Overlord’s lair, and try to use the technoblades to wipe him out, but it only forces him out of the code and he becomes a giant dragon. Cole suddenly appears and corrupts Lloyd. Three fights break out at once, Kai vs. Cole, Morro vs. Lloyd, and Rhynn vs. the Overlord.

Kai is eventually knocked to the ground by Cole, and Cole starts to reason with him. We have this scene:

Cole corrupts Kai. Realizing they are losing, Rhynn turns into their stage two form. This allows them enough power to defeat the Overlord, releasing all those under his influence. They then say that they no longer need the others and can now dispose of them. Morro then engages Rhynn in a fight. Hence we have the private version of this illustration, where you can see Rhynn in Morro’s blade:

The fight then goes into a stage 3 in a separate dimension when Rhynn turns into their true form. Eventually Morro beats them, and suddenly... pre-virus!Rhynn appears, cleansed of the virus. They then thank Morro and tell him that they will fix the code and send them all back to the original Ninjagotale timeline. This scene then happens:

...They give Morro their stolen soul from Frisk. Now Morro can stay corporeal without the need for a host. With a final goodbye, Rhynn fixes the code and sends Morro and the others back. Without a soul or a vessel, they then disappear and finally gain the peace they were robbed of so long ago.

The story ends with Lloyd using his seven human souls to break the barrier in Ninjagotale. The monsters are then freed without the presence of a Frisk. swap!Kai and Cole go to live with classic!Kai and Cole (swap!Kai may or may not be introduced to Skylor/Grillby by classic!Cole) and Morro and Lloyd go to live with Misako.

And that’s the end of it. I may release more about the reconstruction of it later, like redesigns and little content snippets like blurb comics and illustrations, and explanations of other ending ideas, but that’s about it. I’m sorry for disappointing you all. I hope you all can understand about the circumstances, and I hope you stick around for more Insanity Brothers. It’ll be an animatic series, so I’m real excited for it!

Ninjagotale Cast List

Here is the cast for Ninjagotale with personality differences! Stay tuned for updates! And of course, a cut for spoilers and longevity.

Mettaton = Pixane (turns into Zane and Pixal when Mettaton EX happens)

Changes: Zane is still really smart, Pixal is still sassy, will always talk as if they are two people (like multiple personalities) even when they share a body, sometimes talking to each other

Alphys = Jay

Changes: Doesn’t care much for anime, but is obsessed with video games, still kind of immature

Undyne = Nya

Changes: Still good at building things, that's what she and Jay do together for fun

Sans = Cole

Changes: Likes icing, sells small cakes instead of hot dogs

Papyrus = Kai

Changes: likes to cook many things, but it's always too spicy

Asriel = Lloyd (god form is older Lloyd with features of god of hyperdeath, goat child form is little Lloyd, Morro combination is possessed older lloyd)

Changes: Loves candy and comic books

Toriel = Misako

Changes: likes crickets instead of snails

Asgore = Sensei Garmadon

Changes: jokes more, handles his grief better

Riverperson = Wu

Changes: Ramblings are more meaningful, is actually the brother to the king but an accident that caused brain damage made it impossible for him to continue aiding the royal family in affairs. So now he just ferries people through the Underground while happily drinking from a teacup that seems to be refilling itself constantly.

Gaster = Dr. Julien

Changes: ?

Monster Kid = Lil Nelson

Changes: Has arms but can't use his legs, goes around in a wheelchair

Chara = Morro

Changes: likes shrimp instead of chocolate, chaotic good, bit of a hot head

Frisk = ERROR: NAME NOT FOUND

Changes: not a flirt, very suspicious, lacks the empathy usually characteristic of the pacifist route

Napstablook = Echo Zane

Changes: still naive, thinks Pixane is still out there somewhere and will come back, clumsy

Mad dummy = Cryptor

Changes: throws machine parts instead of cotton, wants to be a general in the second war between humans and monsters

Dummy = Training Robot

Changes: fastidious, will tire of shenanigans quicker

Flowey = Lolley the Lollipop

Changes: throws candy instead of seeds, Omega form is made of candy, not plants

Muffet = Ronin

Changes: Sells antiques that can be useful but are insanely expensive, calls you sweetheart, has a spider pet named Rex

Changes: is in a wheelchair frozen to the ground, gives you a flash drive to take with you

Changes: Are Jay’s adoptive parents, trained Nya (so Jay and Nya have known each other for a long time), are super embarrassing, sell crabby crumbcake and hot chocolate

Snowdin shopkeeper = Mistake (tea lady)

Changes: grumpier, meaner, sells cinnamon tea and sip-it-twice tea

Snowdrake = Brad

Mr. Drake = Brad’s dad

Grillby = Skylor

Changes: will talk more than Grillby, has a small crush on Kai

Endogeny = Doubloon + other Misfortune’s Keep crew members

NINJAGOTALE MASTERPOST AND FAQ

Here is the FAQ and Masterpost for my Ninjagotale project! Read on for answers to basic questions, and scroll down for links to certain posts! This will be updated whenever new content comes out, so check back often to see if you missed anything!

WHAT IS NINJAGOTALE?

It is an Undertale/Ninjago AU/crossover story that has evolved into a VERY different thing than it started out as. It is basically Undertale, but with the characters swapped with characters from the Ninjago series. However, there will be a HUGE plot twist that changes everything.

ARE YOU THE CREATOR OF NINJAGOTALE?

No. But like Underswap and Underfell, it pretty much belongs to everyone in the fandom. There are multiple interpretations, and I am not the first one to have one. Many of the character choices are actually inspired by other people’s interpretations! However, I’m doing something particularly unique with mine...

IS NINJAGOTALE A FANFICTION?

It used to be! Now it’s a comic. You can find the written version links below the comic version links if you’re interested!

WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERS LIKE?

In my version, they have the same names as the Ninjago characters, but most of the personalities are the same as the Undertale characters. However, to make things more interesting, the characters you interact with most will have some of the traits of the Ninjago characters. So they will be a bit different.

The appearances are a combination of the two characters. Most are humanoid, but I made it a goal to make them clearly not human (they are still called monsters). You can see what I mean if you take a look at some of the designs. You’ll find the links to them in the “characters” section of this post (scroll down a bit). You may see multiple links, and that’s because those specific characters have been redesigned. Beware, the originals are much less visually appealing than the new ones!

ARE THERE ANY OCS?

VERY few. I made it my goal to use them sparingly, and only if I have no other choice. If there is an OC, know that I had VERY GOOD REASONS to put them there. Don’t tell me that there is no reason for [character] to be an OC, there is. I will be happy to explain my reasons to you if you ask nicely. Unless it is a spoiler (because there is one).

DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS / CAN YOU PUT MY OC / HEADCANON / IDEAS IN NINJAGOTALE?

I used to do that with my fanfictions on FFN. Sadly, I have moved on from taking requests. I have realized it is actually a bad writing move in general and should not be done if you want quality writing. The only people who are authorized to give significant influential input are the members of the Ninjagotale Team.

YOU SHOULDN’T PUT _____ IN NINJAGOTALE! I DON’T LIKE THAT!

Thank you for expressing your concerns. I’m sorry, but I’m not changing the plot to please a few people who don’t like what I’m doing with my story. There are other stories out there. Go find one you do like. Or make your own story instead of whining at other people to change their stories so you like them.

CAN I MAKE FAN ART OF NINJAGOTALE?

Absolutely! After all, I’m not the first person to have an interpretation of the AU! There are several other people who have one of their own! And if it’s specifically for my version, tag me in it and I will reblog it and add it to this masterpost! You will also be featured in the Neutral Ending credits!

CAN I ASK QUESTIONS?

Of course! Just know that I am not obligated to answer them. But I will try my best to do so, as long as they’re not hate, spam, someone forcing their opinions on me, or could potentially cause drama!

WHY ARE YOU MAKING NINJAGOTALE?

First reason: because while I have seen concept art and fan art of it, I haven’t seen many people make it into an actual story (I do have friends who are currently in the process of it though).

Second reason: I actually feel motivated to do this. This is huge, because lately I have not been very inspired. By anything.

Third (and probably most important) reason: On a personal level, this is actually my way of tracking my improvement and development of my art. My goal is to have mastered most of the basics by the end of the project. I don’t know if that will happen, but I’m going to try! #FILLED WITH DETERMINATION
