Irritated, you stood with your phone in hand, leaning against the wall. A white Nike cap adorned your head, and a black mask covered your face, partially concealing it. Your posture was closed, and your eyes narrowed as you continued scrolling through Instagram.

Today, you opened your personal account, just like the rest of your members. A sigh escaped your lips as you read the comments under your latest picture. Some fans wanted to marry you, others showered compliments, and some discussed the next world tour Itzy would embark on.

Honestly, you weren't eager about it. You had just completed the latest comeback without Lia, which was quite a challenge. Despite what others said, Lia's vocals had significantly enriched your songs. With your thumb, you quickly tapped on the Official Newjeans page, making sure not to accidentally follow or like anything.

A small smile crept onto your lips as you looked at your girlfriend's picture. Now, you also entered the comments there, taking a deep breath. It pleased you that none of the comments were negative. You moved away from the Newjeans page and continued scrolling.

Danielle was probably still busy and kept you waiting. But that was okay. Your girlfriend knew you could wait for her for what seemed like an eternity, even if you always acted like you were about to leave every second.

Your eyebrows raised as you recognized a Reel. You were aware that fans knew you were straightforward. Some called it rude, while others found it sassy. But for you, it was neither. If someone asked silly questions, they got equally silly answers.

You immediately rolled your eyes when you saw a compilation of your "sassy" comments. Annoyed, you sighed and pocketed your phone. "Excuse me?" someone asked, grabbing your attention. "Yes?" you replied, your voice deep with a hint of annoyance. You tried to suppress your comments as much as possible. "Could I get an autograph?" she asked, and your forehead furrowed. Your eyes scanned the older woman's face. "Are you a manager?" you asked, surprised that you recognized it, and she nodded with a smile.

However, you weren't in the mood to smile. Your arms unfolded from your chest. "Shouldn't you be working? Ask me when you're off duty," you responded, which seemed to displease the older woman. Her face twisted a bit, but she still tried to be polite. She bowed, and you reciprocated by nodding your head.

"Baby."

Almost automatically, a smile formed on your face as you looked towards the now-open door, revealing Danielle. With a broad grin on her face, the Australian approached you and, in the next moment, wrapped her arms around your neck. Your arms immediately encircled the younger woman's waist, and for a few moments, your eyes closed. Your tense body relaxed, thanks to the touch of your girlfriend.

Danielle pulled away, taking your hand in hers. Her long, slender fingers intertwined with yours as she smiled at you. "Did you wait long?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. Without even checking the time, as you didn't want to acknowledge that you had waited for 30 minutes, you shook your head. "I just got here," you replied to the slightly taller woman.

She sighed in relief, "Thank goodness. It took a bit longer," the younger one exclaimed. Without taking another breath, she immediately began explaining what had happened and why the recording of the new song took longer. She also shared updates about her fellow members, whom you had already met.

With a smile on your face, you simply listened to her, the mask now stuffed into your pocket. Occasionally, you nodded your head or made a sound to signal that you were still attentively listening to your girlfriend.

"Who's the meanest?" one of your managers asked as you and your members were playing a game in front of the camera. Almost immediately, Ryujin, Yeji, and Chaeryeong pointed your face up. However, you and Yuna held up Ryujin's face. Yuna vigorously nodded and pointed at Ryujin.

"Every time she looks at me, she has this face!" Yuna complained, looking into the camera. She lifted one side of her mouth, making a disgusted expression. You burst into laughter, clapping your hands in amusement. Nodding your head, you said, "Exactly. That's the Ryujin face," mimicking the expression perfectly. Yeji laughed and playfully hit your arm, smiling at you.

"But hey, I'm not mean," you declared somewhat offended, prompting Chaeryeong to look at you with raised eyebrows. You immediately fell silent. Okay... Maybe you were meaner than expected.

"You're only nice to the NewJeans members," Yuna remarked, laughing, causing everyone to turn and look at her simultaneously. Yuna noticed her mistake, and her face immediately changed. Smiling, you briefly looked into the camera and then back to Yuna. "Of course. They are my friends, just like you guys," you replied, instantly putting Yeji at ease beside you.

Ryujin, however, grinned at you. Her eyes sparkled, and you knew she was about to say something. "You're never nice to me," the slightly older one said, making you burst into laughter. Yeji threw a warning glance at Ryujin, who completely ignored it. You placed your hand on the older one's knee, smiling as you looked at her. "Did you deserve it, though?" you asked, tilting your head to the side.

The others looked at you in surprise, but Ryujin took it as a joke, which it was. Ryujin laughed, rolling her eyes. Shortly after, she pretended to cry like a baby. "I don't?" she asked, giving you puppy eyes.

Your smile widened, and you immediately pulled the older one into a tight hug. "Of course," you said as you embraced her. Fortunately, you could now dispel some rumors. No one should know that you were dating Danielle. After all, the relationship had already lasted for over 2 years, and hopefully, it would continue for another 2 years

Sighing, you looked into your girlfriend's eyes as she handed you a cup. Your face was stern, and your eyes squinted. Danielle sighed as she observed your expression and immediately sat down beside you. Her hand, as usual, rested on your thigh as she leaned towards you to place a gentle kiss on your cheek.

"You... can't just get away with it that easily this time," you murmured, feeling the walls of resistance against Danielle slowly but surely crumbling. These weren't particularly strong walls, and you knew it.

Danielle sighed once more. "I'm sorry I got angry," the younger one said, her eyes turning into puppy eyes. You turned your head away, placing the cup in your hand on the coffee table in front of you. You knew exactly what was about to happen. This was how all your arguments unfolded.

"Baby..." Danielle said softly, and her hand found your cheek. She forced you to look at her, a gesture you interrupted by keeping your eyes closed. Amused, Danielle huffed, "Look at me, baby," altering her voice to make it clear she was pouting.

You took a deep breath and opened your eyes. Almost instinctively, your jaw dropped as you saw those beautiful eyes before you. The walls around you crumbled, and tens of thousands of tiny Danielles marched with a raised heart flag into the fortress where you resided.

You faltered and finally nodded your head. "Okay..." you mumbled softly, and Danielle immediately let go of your face. She grinned widely, looking at you with those radiant eyes. "But... never think about it again, okay?" you demanded. Danielle's eyebrows raised. Your hands also immediately grasped hers as you looked at her seriously.

"Okay, okay," the younger one nodded, her smile even wider than before. "I'm sorry, okay?" she asked, making you exhale sharply. Your lip pushed forward as you started to pout. "How could you say I'd be better off without you?" you asked, deepening your sulking.

"Oh, baby," Danielle exclaimed loudly as she wrapped her arms around your neck and sat on your lap with a sudden move. Your hands embraced her waist, and her hand tangled in your hair. "I'm sorry. I'll never say that again," she said, her lips wandering across your entire face. Nervously, you swallowed and finally nodded your head.

The lips of the slightly taller one now on your own, and of course, you kissed your girlfriend back. Never in your life would you turn down a kiss from Danielle Marsh. You weren't crazy!

"I love you, Dani," you whispered softly against the lips of the younger person on top of you, making Dani smile. Her eyes looked straight into yours. "I love you even more, Y/n," she whispered back, connecting your lips once again.

"So, if this video ever gets released, no one will say you're cold and mean anymore," suddenly, Hyein's voice was heard as she obviously waved her phone around. Your eyes widened, and embarrassment flushed your face.

"Oh, she's just whipped for Danielle," Hanni replied beside her, bursting into laughter. However, Dani immediately shooed both of them out of the living room with just a hand gesture. You looked away from your girlfriend, feeling awkward, which made her laugh.

"Should we go to my room?" she asked, raising her eyebrows, looking at you expectantly. Your mouth opened, and without hesitating for a second, you stood up. Your hands on Dani as her legs wrapped around your hips, carrying her to her room.

"Just for the record... I'm not whipped," you mumbled quietly, making Dani laugh even more. "Sure," your girlfriend responded, seemingly unbelieving. But you couldn't argue. It was the truth. You were whipped.
