especially given the way how uninteresting greg ended up being as a character. sure, he's been sliming his way higher and higher but where's the flavor?

I own this hotel, how the fuck did they think we were married?” Honestly, Logan was baffled as he stared at the stranger that was still sitting on his bed in his bathrobe. It made sense in a way - Logan frequently strolled in with some new pretty thing hanging off his arm and maybe the employees wouldn’t want to risk pissing off the boss by upsetting his latest fling, but married? What were they thinking? “You must be one hell of a con artist.” He said, frowning as he had a thought. “Wait. We haven’t dated before, have we?” Logan had been assuming they were pretending to be his spouse at random, but maybe they’d chosen him on purpose. He may not have been sure who they were, but Logan was absolutely positive he hadn’t married someone at some drive through chapel on a drunken night because surely he wouldn’t have been able to get away with doing something like that quietly.

Virgil: It’s nice not being aurally assaulted by The News Channel That Shall Not Be Named. Constantly.
Logan: Yes, that was... insufferable. So much factually incorrect and blatantly inflammatory material. You had to pick your battles and hold your tongue around those people.
Janus: I’m totally not happy you don’t have to deal with Mr. Control Freak and Mr. Trigger Everything, anymore.
Virgil: Yeah, I saw how it made you stress-eat...
Logan: And impaired your ability to do your workouts.
Roman: It stifled your ability to make art like you used to, too!
Remus: Couldn’t really get into talking about your juicy horror projects with the company either. Or the spicy things you want to write and draw... Or ANY of that queer shit.
Virgil & Janus, sighing: Especially the queer shit.
Patton: Well, you must be grateful for all the help you had in getting this new place, and keeping your spirits high during the wait! It’s only been a few weeks and it’s really looking like home, already!
Roman: Now you can create in peace!
Logan: It took awhile, but you also have internet again, too. So you can research things properly for whatever you need to know.
Patton: And being able to stream your favorite videos and music again is awesome!
Virgil: Which is great and all... but then everything ELSE went wrong today.
Logan: That can be addressed after some time and some sleep.

Remus: Asshole? Oh man, remembered when you first saw Goe-

TGIF (trans gender it's friday)! do you have any trans/nonbinary/gender-nonconforming characters? what are their role(s) in the story?
Hell yeah!
Raymond’s trans, he transitioned socially fairly young (young enough that Terran never knew him as anything but Raymond), and I've so far shown it in him mentioning his ears being pierced and taking their-world equivalent of HRT. I have a page in my notebook from when I was first thinking of if him being trans made sense and it did! Raymond is... god what's his role, it's so much... catalyst, source of moral conflict, love interest, best freind, source of greif, champion of good.
Syndicate doesn't have any enbies so far-- well, Jodi's rommate is nonbinary but they aren't even a character. However, I have a lot of enbies in Second Chance-- I seem to love she/theys and he/theys in there.
First if all, gods in general are genderless, but Ardisci, god of knowledge who's begun to feel more human than god found themselves to be leaning towards nonbinary-girl. Nit positive what Ardi's role in this version would be yet, but they get used by an MC at one point but provide valuable information and insights at others. Ava, the MC's crush, I'm thinking will discover themselves to be a demigirl/similar too, Ava is not just a love interest but provides Chrys safety and stability. Korin I spontaneously decided was he/they, he's a researcher for the sort-antagonsits and reflects a lot of Russell’s characteristics, and help at a key point in Russell’s arc. And a freind of Russell, Halyn, goes by ze/zem, Halyn provides Russell safety when he has no one else but also pushes him.
In Immortal Souls, Logan is bigender (they/them), and a family freind of Maera, Cassia, is a trans woman. Logan is a main character, one of 3 people the story follows, and Cassia gave a younger Logan the courage to be gnc.
A few other random stories also have some trans/nb characters... some I'm not as sure about though.

I've seen some people questioning Remus as Fear in the new aside and I'm here to defend that placement.
As Virgil himself said, he would obviously be the first choice for fear, I think most of us agree on that, but he made even more sense with Anxiety for... obvious reasons, so we had to go for the second best
Roman loves adventuring and challenges, he always wants to get to new highs and outdo himself, so not him
Not all fears are irrational, but a lot of them are and even the rational ones can easily be exaggerated in your mind, so not Logan either
Janus hides things for you so don't have to think about them. Or fear them.
Patton would be my third choice actually, he has a similar aesthetic to Fear and he's responsible for a lot of emotions, but his approach tends to be more "let's ignore those bad feelings and focus on the good things!" (I do think he could've been Joy, that would really work for him)
So we get to Remus. On the surface level, they're completely opposites, Fear is soft-spoken, jumpy, polite, and dresses like those over the top nerdy characters in old high school movies, Remus is... Remus, but that's how they manifest for the different people they belong to, cause obviously Riley (the 14 years old girl/nb who's into hockey) and C!Thomas (the 30 something theater kid) are very different and are gonna view and manifest their emotions differently.
But at their core, they can serve a very similar purpose: reminding their person of things they fear and that makes them paranoid and that they don't really want to think about, the obvious difference being that Remus is more about scaring Thomas and Fear is more about being scared for Riley
Just my opinion tho feel free to disagree just don't be mean about it
