I will never be okay with the opinion that Hachi is bisexual because she didn't feel for any of her male partners even 15% of the adoration and attraction she felt for Nana. Each time she entered a new relationship, it seemed more like she was excited about the idea of being in love rather than genuinely attracted to her boyfriends. She desired love, care, affection, attention, and happiness, but she was never as affected by them as she was by Nana. Even her adoration of Takumi when he was just a celebrity from a poster seemed more like something a straight woman might feel for a beautiful and talented actress. Her being a lesbian with comphet explains everything perfectly, like the moments when she walked with her "perfect and nice boyfriend Nobu" but recalled the moment when she was holding Nana's hand

I genuenly think Nana isn't queerbaiting, but was intentionally written to be the world's slowest will-they-won't-they slowburn where both women haven't processed the fact they are in love with each other. It doesn't make sense for it to be written the way it is if the endgoal wasn't for Nana and Hachi to get together. It's quite literally structured around their relationship, with so many moments that don't even read as queerbait but (an extremely) slow buildup towards a sapphic realization. Like yes, I know the manga "ended" with them separated, Nana being with Ren and Nana being with Takumi. But that's the thing. Ren dies and Nana is alone, while Hachi is stuck in a marriage with a shitty man. Considering the manga went on hiatus mid-arc in 2009 due to the author's health issues, all I'm saying is it's very likely the conclusion of Nana was very much intended to be a sapphic story, and that the two would have gotten together had it reached its conclusion.
