ok bit a background and context for something i'm gonna post later (probably... eventually... if i manage to finish it) but in the meanwhile

time-travel idea from an au which has been living non-stop in my head for the last weeks. in this au (no details, just ideas floating around), instead of damon and elena dating, there is this weird dating?not dating? denzo which is hella confusing to everyone because they're close always touching and being in each other space but!!!? we just saw damon making out with a random girl and enzo being cool??? about it so they're not dating then? right?!? (i just love the idea of undefined relationship between damon and enzo, just them being bestfriends and maybe they have sex maybe not) (somewhere in the other side alaric is groaning and despairing because "of course they're not just bestfriends!! damon and i weren't like that!! i mean yeah damon doesn't know what personal space is when drunk and is all over you whether you want it or not but we weren't like t h a t" but nobody can hear him (except maybe jeremy who chooses to ignore alaric because? he doesn't want to know or more importantly he doesn't want to think about what damon and enzo do in their free time thank you very much!))

okay i didn't plan on going that much into denzo (seriously the bestfriends ambiguous as hell thing l o v e. i t!)

but what is important to know is the things with hell happened (different from canon, notably no katherine as queen of hell) it's all cade and they failed to stop him so hellfire starts spreading and everyone is killed one by one. important thing to know now is last scene of this au is bonnie who just got killed with caroline arriving to see damon on the ground with bonnie in his arms (enzo and stefan already dead) and then she gets killed by cade. cade is about to kill damon with hellfire but before he gets burned he finds himself in front of emily who tells him he'll have a chance to start over because with cade winning, there is no balance anymore. with nothing left to lose damon accepts and emily sends him back to the past

so damon is thrown back during season 2, where everyone hates him and doesn't trust him at all, his last memories being caroline (with whom he developed an okay relationship) and bonnie (bestfriend and one of his favorite people) dying. he feels very disconnected (everyone is so young, only caroline is a vampire and even then she's a very baby vampire and bonnie hates him, his brother distrusts him) and there is a change in his behavior so obvious everyone notices and is very suspicious of it and it's too much for him. and then he remembers enzo is still a prisoner to augustine so damon leaves because he can't leave enzo to be tortured when he knows he's alive

bottom line, things happen with damon having memories from the previous timeline and with enzo present who is very disturbed by his friend because?!? fifty years alone and the man who abandoned him and left him to die suddenly comes back to free him, killing everyone on his way (he's still a bit convived this is a very elaborated hallucination) and then tells him he killed the woman he loved and he is acting so strange wtf? he's the one who was prisoner and alone and tortured for decades?? why damon looks worse than him?!

Summary: After living in Mystic Falls for their entire lives, Y/N and Matt Donovan finally left to go to college somewhere else, where they have a shot at normal, happy lives. And they're not about to let anything ruin that.

I sighed as I looked out at the surf and sand before me. The sun warmed my face just right, and the sound of kids laughing as the waves crashed against the beach made me feel more relaxed than I'd been in a long, long time.

After spending eighteen years of my life in Mystic Falls, Virginia, and suffering the danger, supernatural headaches, and cold weather, I'd finally decided to get the hell out when it came time for college.

I'd barely survived high school, thanks to all the vampires, witches, and werewolves running around that town, so I'd decided to get as far away from all of them as I could. I'd ended up in San Diego, California, where the sun alone helped limit the vampire population, and I'd quite literally never been happier in my life.

My newfound peace was helped by the fact that I'd somehow managed to convince Matt, my best friend and, as of senior year, my boyfriend, to leave with me. He'd been agonizing over the decision for months, including the entirety of our senior year. I'd convinced him to at least apply to some California schools with me, since he didn't have to go even if he got in.

Then, in December, we found out we'd both gotten into the same school here. Matt had been tearing himself up wrestling with the decision, but it had literally never been clearer to me. There was nothing for either of us in Mystic Falls but pain and misery.

Finally, just before the May 1st decision deadline, I'd convinced him to take his football scholarship offer and run with me. Graduation had been hard, and the few months of summer in Mystic Falls seemed to drag. Matt clearly felt guilty leaving everyone behind, and I was personally terrified that–after surviving the most ridiculous things imaginable since the Salvatores moved into town–the thing that did us in was finally going to come, before we got the chance to escape. But it didn't happen, and as August came to an end, Matt and I got on a plane together and didn't look back.

And now, we were here, months into our freshman year of college and happier than we'd ever been. It had taken Matt a little longer to adjust than me, but with his blonde shaggy hair and general athleticism, he was born to be a California Surfer Boy. It was only a matter of time.

We'd just finished a late afternoon, post-class surf session and were relaxing on the beach as we watched the sun sink into the ocean when Matt had gotten a call. He'd jumped up and rushed off to take it, and whenever I looked over my shoulder, I could see him pacing. I knew he'd come back any second, telling me all about whatever it was that had him so worked up, so I was trying to get myself to as calm a place as possible before then.

After a few minutes, Matt came back as expected. He stood next to me, not sitting down on his towel, and I quickly but calmly stood up to face him.

"What's wrong?" I asked him. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, and I could see him clenching his jaw in the way he always did when he got stressed.

"That was Elena."

I sighed, trying not to let myself get worked up. Elena had never really been my favorite person, but especially since she'd turned into a vampire and formed some alliance/relationship with Damon that constantly tried to endanger me and my boyfriend, I was even less of a fan.

"She said there's some new trouble stirring up at Whitmore." Caroline and Elena had gone to Whitmore to start college, less than an hour's drive from Mystic Falls and clearly still in the sphere of supernatural influence. I'd never been happier about my decision to go somewhere else. "She said she knows we're busy out here, and she doesn't want to interrupt any of that, but that they're a little short on humans they can trust to help them with things."

"Maybe it's because they treat humans like canon fodder and none of us want to help them when they don't give a shit about whether or not it kills us," I said, the calm I usually felt at the beach quickly turning into irritation at Elena and everyone else in the Mystic Falls area who I knew was involved with this.

"Elena's not like that, Y/N, you know it."

I sighed through my nose and closed my eyes. When I felt a little less like I was about to explode, I opened my eyes again and met Matt's before continuing.

"I know she's not, Matt. But Damon is. And you can bet if the plan they've come up with needs a human, it's because Damon wants to use us as bait. With no regard for whether we come out of it. And Elena and Caroline and Stefan will do their best to protect us, but as we've learned from experience, sometimes their best isn't enough. Hell, you almost died and Elena became a vampire because Stefan couldn't save both of you when an Original vampire decided to take out her temper on you."

Matt sighed and nodded his head, staring off into the ocean as he did.

"I know. I just... I don't like abandoning them. Any of them, except maybe Damon."

"I know." I took a few steps closer to him and ran my hand down his arm, trying to comfort him. "But Matt, I have full faith they're all going to be fine without us. They have insane superpowers, and they're all incredibly smart people. And, if they really need a human helping hand, I'm sure they can make some new friends who are still excited about all the supernatural shit to help them."

Matt scoffed. "I don't think I remember ever being excited about the supernatural stuff."

"Hm, I do. I thought Stefan was hot when I found out he was a vampire."

Matt whipped his head around to face me, looking completely betrayed, until he saw the shit-eating grin on my face. He groaned and rolled his eyes, but I just laughed.

"C'mon, Matt, you were completely hung up on Elena our junior year and I had to watch it the whole time before we started dating. It's only fair that I get to mess with you a little bit, too."

He shook his head, but met my gaze with a smile all the same. We held each others' loving stares for a few moments, but then reality set in, and our dreamy expressions dropped.

"So... you really don't think we should go back?"

I sighed. "I know it might sound harsh Matt, but no, I don't. I mean, we're in California for the love of God! We're in the middle of school! And... there's only us. I kind of like it when there's only us, safe and happy and together like a couple of normal people. Unless Elena finds a prophecy that says explicitly 'Matt Donovan, born in Mystic Falls, Virginia, is the only possible cause of death for X Supernatural Threat', I don't think they need us badly enough to warrant giving any of that up. And even then I'd want a lawyer to look for loopholes before we left."

Matt laughed, shaking his head as he took in the scene around us, but when he looked back at me the smile stayed on his face.

"You're right," he said. "I sure as hell don't want to give this up either."

"Good. And besides, just imagine all the good we can go out and do, Matt, if we actually get the space to live our lives instead of dying at twenty."

"I agree. I want to become a cranky old man with you," he said, taking my hands and pulling me towards him as I laughed. He kissed me, wrapping his arms tightly around my waist, and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

Matt's grip around my waist tightened as he deepens the kiss, but after a few seconds, I pulled away. He raised an eyebrow, so I spoke.

"I just... shouldn't you call Elena first? And tell her we're not coming? As much as I want to continue what we're doing right now, I-"

"I already told her," he said, cutting me off.

"What?"

"I told her before I hung up that they were on their own. That we weren't coming back. I knew it was the right call, I just... I needed a little reassurance. I still feel guilty about not running to the rescue when they call, you know?"

"I know. And I love you and your hero instincts, Matt," I said, running my hands through his hair as I admired the beautiful, wonderful man in front of me. "But I'm glad you're learning how to put yourself first every once in a while."

He smiled. "Me too. Although I have to say, I don't know that I'm putting me first as much as I'm putting us first."

"Us first is good too," I decided. We shared a smile as we closed the distance between us again, returning to a soft, loving kiss. We'd gone through years of hell in Mystic Falls, but now we were free to just be together, happy and safe and with normal worries, like changing our majors and quarter-life crises.

Everything we'd been through, everything we'd survived, and everything we'd fought–it was all worth it to get to this, here, with Matt.

anyway yes mfg daggering rebekah was bad you’ll never see me arguing that however let’s talk about the fact it’s because elijah broke their trust when it concerns klaus + his siblings already like. did REBEKAH deserve it? no. did they have reason to doubt she would actually go through with it? yes. a lot of people write fics about how the mikaelsons were never the villains blah blah fucking blah and how the mfg treated them badly first and while that is certainly a take considering they literally heard of the originals because klaus was coming to kill elena eventually, it’s not even Just That.

elijah at the end of the day, until literally seconds before it was time, said he was going to kill klaus. THAT was never reliant on his deal with elena. what was called into question when he got daggered was whether or not he would protect elena’s loved ones. it was never “if you don’t keep this deal, i’m not going to kill klaus”. he said he was planning to do it whether he had to kidnap elena or whether she would go quietly as long as he protected her loved ones. and never did he give any indication, even after being daggered, that he wouldn’t kill klaus. even when it was revealed they were brothers, they were trusting him to kill klaus, and he didn’t change his mind until klaus told him about their siblings. did elijah have his own reasons? yeah, sure, but it was still a betrayal that set the curve.

then, klaus forced stefan to become a ripper (after killing his girlfriend, as far as klaus knew) in order to save damon’s life. rebekah was once again caught in the crossfire of her brothers’ problems, obviously, but its not unprecedented that they would think she couldn’t be trusted. elijah set an example. no matter what reasoning the mikaelsons use, i think people give them (at LEAST klaus and elijah) way too much slack about the shit they do because they dislike the other characters it’s being done to, the biggest example of this being Katherine, followed by the Trinity & The MFG.

coincidentally, freya and rebekah get a lot of hate for their decisions whether they had reasoning or not.

Pet Puppy

Klaus wasn’t easily fooled. He knew that the Salvatores, Elena & co were hiding something from him. So he did what anyone would do and investigated the matter.

He figured it out to a person, originally he thought that perhaps it was another Gilbert sibling but then one day he caught her scent.

She must’ve been a wolf, meaning she must be Tyler’s sister or another werewolf family was in town. So he went straight to his first sired hybrid and fired 20 questions at him. He watched as the boy struggled to find any possible loopholes to answer the questions in a a way that told him nothing. And yet by doing so it told him just about everything.

He figured out what she must look like, how she dresses, things she liked and what things meant to her. She was the perfect omega in his mind, a sweet little girl who would behave well and have a soft, innocent persona.

He knew she must if she had been hidden away this long, been compliant to the rules the Mystic Falls gang had set for her.

It wasn’t the easiest task as he searched through the Salvatores house and spied on the Gilbert’s. He checked Bonnies too but found she barely stayed there herself now that she had her mother back. Klaus had nearly forgotten that he was able to get into Caroline’s house after the whole biting situation.

But when he noticed the blonde coming to the grill and picking up an extra plate of food his curiosity peaked. He followed her home and that’s when he spotted the pretty face he had pictured so well as she came and pulled the curtains closed with a bright smile on her face as Elena beckoned her into her arms.

He had to come back another day, get her alone and see if she truly was the perfect omega.

His wolf already thought so and even if she wasn’t he might just take her for the fun of it, piss off everyone in town while having a pretty thing to entertain him.

Though that perspective changed when he got inside the house the next morning. He watched as she nearly jumped a mile when he came up behind her resulting in a pillow launched at his head and a chuckle to erupt from him.

He chased after her as she darted around the house, taking much enjoyment in the hunt before ultimately pouncing at her and tackling her to the ground.

His wolf could have purred at the instant submission she offered once he had caught her, the way her neck arched for him to bite if he so pleased and the little whine she emitted was delightful.

He looked down at her, keeping her pinned against the carpeted floor as he looked her over. She were smaller than he originally imagined but it only added to his attraction, her eyes big and fearful and yet a swirl of lust within them as his wolf produced a strong alpha scent to entice her in. His head tilted to the side and in response so did hers making the corner of his lips pull up.

She wriggled beneath him slightly in an attempt to get him to weaken his hold which he did after squeezing her neck gently. He moved back for her to sit up, he watched as she twitched in anticipation, as she got ready to bolt again. But she didn’t, just remained on edge as he trailed his fingers along each curve of her body. Certain spots he touched gained different reactions, mostly whimpers and little squeaks if he pressed down too hard.

But she didn’t shy away from him, she allowed him to touch and feel every inch of her skin that he could reach and shuddered or shivered in reply. Her wolf’s eyes rolled into the back of her head as his hands left a path of fire in their wake. Both amusement and lust mixed through him as she practically crawled her way into his lap and he rubbed all along her thighs, hips, back, torso, chest, shoulders.

His lips brushed along the side of his neck as she whined quietly to herself before stopping just behind her ear and kissing the spot tenderly.

“Pretty puppy” he murmured as a soft purr rumbled through her. Her head leant back against his shoulder as she sat between his legs. His teeth nibbled her earlobe lightly making her lips part and a soft moan to leave her.

Another 20 minutes went by of his kisses growing rougher, her sounds getting higher and louder as her body arched and clung to him.

Of course until a loud shriek tore his attention away from the swell of her breast which he had nearly gotten completely out of her bra cup. He glanced up to find Caroline looking horrified at the display of hickeys and bite marks in her friends throat, let alone her enemy with his mouth around the omegas tit.

Y/n was entirely out of it though and still moaning softly as his hands groped her gently, his eyes daring Caroline to do or say anything.

She practically ran out of her house, straight on the phone and screaming down it to Damon in a fit.

But by the time Damon had arrived, Klaus had Y/n back at his house.

Her legs around his waist and arms around his neck as he buried his face in between her breasts while he carried her up the stairs.

He nipped and sucked along them greedily before dropping her onto his bed and crawling on top of her. And he was entirely ready to claim her right there and then, until he looked down and saw her sweet face.

Her eyes completely black and her body almost vibrating from how loud her purr was. The backs of her fingers brushed over her chest as he hummed gravely.

“You’re such a sweet omega aren’t you puppy?” He muttered seeing her pant and tug at his henley like a dog in heat. His lips pulled into a smile and he leaned down to place a kiss on her cheek. “Oh I think I’ll be keeping you my lovely” he smirked.

And he most definitely intended on it.

He didn’t care how many times Stefan, Damon, Elena, Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy, Tyler, anyone came to try take her away. He had a firm grip on her at all times, keeping her at his side or pressed to his chest.

She was such a good girl for him, always doing as asked and curled up on top of him.

He would kiss her head and smooth his hands down her sides while feeling her face muzzle into his chest.

He carried her just about everywhere, whether it was to the kitchen or across town. There shouldn’t even be the slightest risk that she would be stolen from him. And he made sure of it.

Hands on her, arms around her, scent rubbed all over her and a range of sweet nothings and dirty somethings whispered in her ears.

She was his little pup until the day they both died, she would never leave him, not with how good he was for her.

He always kept her safe, protected, happy, loved and cared for.

“Hungry? Don’t worry puppy, I have your food on the way and your snack drawer is full.”

“Thirsty? Would you rather drink my blood or I bring you something different?”

“Sleepy little pup? That’s okay, you can curl right up here.”

Anything she needed, he could and would provide. Always…and forever of course.

Standing in the park, you stood a few feet from everybody as they argued about what they were going to do.

“Uh… guys..” you mumbled.

They ignored you, and you tapped your hands against your elbow, looking around uncomfortably.

You didn’t even want to be at the meeting, but you were dragged along anyways and you didn’t want to be there anymore.

Except Bonnie was your ride back home and she was in the middle of arguing with Damon, and you tried to get her attention.

“Bonnie..” you whispered.

“We’re busy!” Damon yelled at you.

You stumbled back a few steps, and you began to slowly move back and forth, rocking in the balls of your feet.

You were trying to keep yourself calm, trying to focus on just one thing which you were finding next to impossible.

You couldn’t listen to them argue anymore, so you spun around and walked away, hoping you could just find your way back home or at least out of the park.

You couldn’t find your way towards exit of the park, and you sat down on a bench, burying your head in your hands, clutching at your hair.

A few seconds later you felt someone place their hands on yours.

“Don’t do that love, you’ll hurt yourself..”

Klaus carefully moved your hands, and he knelt down in front of you.

He held your hands in one of his, and with the other he gently placed it on the side of your face, and you looked at him.

Your eyes met his for a few seconds before you looked away.

“Would you like to go home?”

You nodded.

Klaus turned around, and you climbed on his back, resting your chin on his head, hand tapping against his chest as he walked.

He didn’t say anything, but he took you back to his car and knelt down so you could climb from his back and you get in the car.

Klaus stood by the door, looking at you.

“We’ll wait here.”

“No.. no I want to go…”

“Alright, if that’s what you want love, here.”

Klaus leant in and reached past you, handing you some headphones.

You put them on and he closed the door, getting into the drivers side.

The entire ride back he held your hand, and he took you into your apartment and sat you down again, sitting in front of you.

You held his hands, fingers tapping the back of his knuckles.

“What happened love?”

“I.. I don’t like shouting…”

“I know you don’t, who was shouting?”

“Everybody…”

Klaus nodded his head and he leant forward, pressing a kiss to your forehead he pulled back.

“Right, well you sit here, you just focus on calming down, I’ll deal with everything else.”

Klaus stood up and you quickly grabbed his wrist.

“Don’t go..”

Klaus sat down next to you, letting you rest your head on his shoulder.

He wrapped an arm around you, running his fingers up and down your arm, and you messed with the hem of his shirt.

Klaus looked at you, and he kicked his feet up on the table, wrapping both arms around you.

He could feel you relax, and you seemed a lot calmer than you were outside.

That was just the affect he had on you, something about him and only him calmed you, maybe it was his voice, or the way he held you, but he was always able to calm you down.

When you got up, he watched as you walked across the room to a beanbag.

You sat down, picking up a few things and you set them back down again.

“I don’t see why you keep meeting up with them all, clearly they couldn’t care less about you or your needs.”

“I don’t know…”

He smiled, walking over he sat next to the beanbag, resting his head in your lap and he stared up at you.

You ran your fingers through his hair, and he grinned a little up at you.

“See, this is all you need.”

“I guess so.”

Klaus grinned, and he threw your phone across the room as it began to ring.

He didn’t care about any of them, and if it weren’t for the fact it would make you sad he’d probably have beaten them all months ago for treating you the way they did

12 Days Of SmutMas

18+ Only!! My first Fic Event!!!!!

I am literally so excited to do this bc I wanted to do an October/Halloween event but didn’t have the time so I hope you guys are excited with meee!!!!

These fics will start coming out on the 5th and 6th, (I’m giving the first 4 days to see what requests I get), then every other day until Christmas Eve with the last one coming out on Christmas Day👏👏

Summary: You and James have your first Christmas in your new flat together. You two have fun buying new decorations and deciding where they’ll go while getting distracted in every room you put them in.

2. Christmas Movie Marathon ~ JJ Maybank 12/6/23

Summary: You, JJ, and the Pogues spend Christmas together in the chateau watching all your favorite holiday movies, until your mischievous boyfriend gets bored and wants to distract you as well.

3. Family Christmas ~ [closed] Theodore Nott & Mattheo Riddle 12/8/23

Summary: Theo brings you and Mattheo to his family’s Christmas dinner for the first time making you a nervous wreck, desperate to make a good impression. The boys notices your anxiety and decide to help you with your nerves in Theo’s bathroom before you eat with his family.

8. Scrooge ~ Rafe Cameron 12/18/23

Summary: Rafe never had much Christmas spirit, luckily his girlfriend absolutely had enough for both of them. Conflicts ensue as you attempt to get him festive, and when he wakes up in a sour mood on Christmas of all days, you’re not having it, giving him a Christmas gift from under the sheets that makes him the most jolly mother fucker in Tanneyhill.

Summary: Emperor!Anakin walks in on you wrapping his gifts on Christmas Eve, making you fear the holiday to be ruined, but he reminds you he still gets to wait and unwrap his favorite gift under the tree, you. Leading to a long night of teasing until he can finally unwrap his gift in the morning.

Summary: Your job’s annual Christmas party is approaching and for the first time since your recent divorce, you will be without a date. Unbeknownst to you your boss and mentor will be facing the same issue, leading to an unforeseen Christmas gift with many consequences.
