Hihi! Hugs! Currently a little bit obsessed with pokemon since the dlc for indigo disk comes out soon (4 days as of now when I'm posting this) so apologies if I'm not posting some pretty lovely otome guy/girl stuff for a little while...I just can't help but live and breathe pokemon until I have terapagos securely in my party! Little baby turtle must cuddle forever and ever!

So for now, I offer you random pokemon teams that remind me of my/your men for no particular reason : (Ikevamp) -> (Tears of Themis)

Arthur (Ikevamp) :

• Popplio -> Primarina line (Because Vic! Ok? I think I'm referring to one of my first posts)

• Applin -> Flapple (Because of that thing when you give someone an Applin you confess your feelings and ensure a happy future together, reminds me of the red ribbon thing ok!!! ><)

• Lillipup -> Stoutland (Remember in Alola how it helped you find stuff like a dowsing machine would in previous gens? It can be a detective-y pokemon! Yay! Also again...dog...Vic...yeah...still this one represents his detective skills)

• Happiny -> Blissey (Arthur's doctor skills and how much he cares! I can see him having a Blissey!)

• Mimikyu (His interest in the occult and its cute)

• Shiny Milcery -> shiny Alcremie (Reminds me of his love of fudge! It just does! Not much of an explanation but yeah, also the blue decorations!)

Isaac (Ikevamp) :

• Porygon-[2-Z] (It's a super math-y pokemon ok! Well at least the most math-y in my opinion, plus it levitates which I think Newt would find cool)

• Magnemite -> Magnezone (Idk it's a pokemon for really smart people and it's a super science-y and professor-y pokemon...so yeah...don't expect me to try and give a physics answer, my brain is fried)

• Applin -> Appletun (Enough said, just has to happen, it's a big cuddly sweet apple pie, Newt...apples...yeah...this one is sweet ok, also the romantic thing about Applin)

• Sandshrew -> Sandslash (Kanto to be exact! Because Harry, need I say more?)

• Hatenna -> Hatterene (Newt is super calm...so I can see a Hatenna sticking around him! It might cutely fall asleep at his desk with him)

• Togepi -> Togekiss (Newt had a thing with Theology, don't quiz me I'm tired, anyways in Sheild the dex entry is "Known as a bringer of blessings, it's been depicted on good-luck charms since ancient times" and I was like...awww Newt might like that...kind of a sweet angelic pokemon)

Napoleon (Ikevamp) :

• Rufflet -> Hisuian Braviary (Jupiter! Because, because, because)

• Honedge -> Aegislash (Have you seen his rapier? Enough said, the man can fight)

• Sewaddle -> Leavanny (Idk this always feels like a nurturing pokemon that I could see in a school as an assistant or smth so it would help out at L'École de Napoleon or smth like that)

• Riolu -> Lucario (It's a smart and just fighter, it fits! Plus it doubles Leon's coolness factor XD)

• Bagon -> Salamence (Bagon wanted a change so bad it happened! The whole flying thing...Leon gets it! He wanted to bring about some change pretty badly so they just kinda connect...plus it's a cool dragon!)

• Komala (Cute napping Koala to cuddle with...need I say more? Even more of a reason to sleep in)

Faust (Ikevamp) :

• Shroodle -> Grafaiai (Mephie! It's a poison type! Yay experiments!)

• Beldum -> Metagross (It's a smart person science-y pokemon that floats!)

• Elgyem -> Beheeyem (It loves experimenting with humans and thier memory so Faust would probably get a kick out of it!)

• Zorua -> Zoroark (He would be fascinated by the shape-shifting and it brings the coolness factor, sorta somewhat matches his vibes)

• Nacli -> Garganacl (It can hurt and heal with its salt powers which might get rather useful for Faust)

• Spiritomb (guy works as a priest...I'm assuming he's had experiences with funerals and stuff and I can see this as his ghost type pokemon)

That's about all for ikevamp for now!

Vyn (ToT)

• Deerling -> Winter Sawsbuck (Svart's animal is a deer...and Vyn's hair is white ok!)

• Petilil -> Liligant (His love of gardening and elegant things...it just kinda works)

• Ralts -> Gardevoir (seems like a pretty good psych nurse pokemon to help him out with the feelings stuff and all)

•Rowlet -> Decidueye (His love of Archery)

• Fidough -> Dachsbun (His love of sweet things! And pastries)

• Sinistea -> Polteagiest (Authentic! Just because that's the Vyn-est thing he could get in pokemon!)

Marius (ToT)

• Gimmighoul -> Gholdengo (He's a rich fun loving CEO...explain to me why excitable money made surfing ghost isn't up his alley!)

• Smeargle (Artist...yeah...enough said)

• Ekans -> Arbok (His symbol is a purple snake...I couldn't not do this!)

• Luvdisc (Our Marius is sort of a flirt!)

• Pikachu (It's fluffy and as in the public eye as he is...probably felt a lot in common)

• Rotom (I associate Pax with tech so...yeah...idk...it just fits in my mind)

pokemon AU brainrot is real (i can't draw pokemon) i have some thoughts underneath the cut, so you can read them for fun if you'd like. what i will say over it though is that once again rabbit's gigantic sexy galaxy brain gave the pokemon ideas for murasaku, moriliu, and mayukuro. mwah thanks as always you should give your brain more credit (i will force you to)

when SV came out i remember bulldozing for a charcadet cuz i saw ceruledge and was like damn that's cool, and named him "tatsuya" (first name for fun) - then i found out he had a counterpart (armarouge) and i was like wow this is literally kagami and himuro (please see their dex entries for more info). i haven't done much in the way of writing, but just know in my head there's an entire story with the dramatic breakup where they both started off with charcadet, and then stuff happened. emulating canon, basically. alex trained them with her skeledirge.

next, takao's emolga and erika's pancham torment himuro, because why not. hot man suffering or something. himuro's popularity certainly translates over to pokemon (emolga likes midorima better, but they like to tease himuro because takao does).

last of the himuro series, i do have an entire team thought up for himueri - i love ceruledge, but froslass would be THE pokemon for himuro (like, designated partner pokemon... reasons are self-explanatory). and cinccino is THE pokemon for erika (scarf...) - they're just tormenting each other. my favorite thought about this is that froslass very often thinks about making himuro a frozen statue because of how hot he is (she doesn't, because she's trained well, but she has Thoughts). she doesn't really care about erika but grows to tolerate her, and would turn her into a statue if it makes himuro happy (i mean, it wouldn't, but froslass is vibing). on the other hand, cinccino admires himuro's skin and wonders about his skincare routine.

murasakibara and sakurai own their own bakery shop, where they cater to pokemon and humans alike. don't mind the poisonous looking poffins. amoonguss (sakurai's) just chills around the shop a lot and tries to leech off the extra goodies if there are any. alcremie (murasakibara's) helps out with the baking, and is fascinated by how well the two can manage to switch between different types of pastries and bento boxes. savory AND sweet foods offered! i call it a bakery but it's a glorified bakery because they can do a lot of different foods.

moriyama and liu wei definitely start out like how i've written them in my yosen canon lol they bond over wanting to flirt and seduce women, but it creates a whole other can of sexual tension. moriyama's delcatty is often the semi-unwilling captain of moriyama's journey to become popular with women. she does love him but barely manages to tolerate his shenanigans (unfortunately, it sometimes works - girls will come up to pet his delcatty. she enjoys being pampered and the attention, at least). escavalier for liu wei, and to quote rabbit, a knight in shining armor represents his ideals best given his antiquated demeanor. plus, it's pretty swoonworthy to be popular with the ladies. they're all gay though.

mimikyu for mayuzumi and pikachu for kuroko should be self-explanatory. kuroko's pikachu has blue eyes... because why not. i imagine that mayuzumi reads out in the park often to calm mimikyu's sadness. pikachu desperately wants mimikyu to like him. mimikyu ain't having it though. however, much to mayuzumi's disgruntlement, mimikyu does like kuroko more than pikachu. no one is deterred by the other's bitterness - in fact, it's much ammo for teasing.

Made those tags on this post by @bambooale - and yeah, I love Pokemon ever since I played Pokemon Blue as a small child and named my Venusaur "AAAAAAAAA" so I definitely have pokemon thoughts!

I was thinking about answering this in the form of drabbles but I do have Assignments, but I am Tempted to write some silly fanfic about this at some point.

Michel Ney and a Balloon

Anyway, using this page to put together pokemon teams for Lannes, Murat, Ney, Bessières, Soult, Masséna, Davout and Napoleon, and feel free to disagree or talk about your own thoughts!

Lannes

Dubwool, Ampharos, Aegislash, Diggersby, Ceruledge, Falinks

Obviously Lannes needs the two sheep(ish) pokemon in his team: Dubwool and Ampharos. Even if Ampharos loses its wool as it evolves, maybe he got it as a cute Mareep and still loves it.

The other pokemon are based on him as an infantry commander who participated in besieging fortifications - Diggersby for tunnelling, Aegislash and Ceruledge as... swords, ghostly swords who "fell before accomplishing their goal"

and Falinks, well, Lannes was known as the Roland or Achilles of the Grande Armee, Achilles was Greek, Falinks is kinda Greek-

but I was also thinking that Falinks fits Napoleon a lot as well, especially with seeing that drawing by bambooale-

What if Napoleon looked after Lannes' Falinks after he died?

Interesting thoughts.

Ney

Mudsdale, Pyroar, Armarogue, Talonflame, Lycanroc, Drifblim

The entire reason I started thinking about this was because I thought it would be extremely funny if Ney had a Drifblim because of the time a guy claimed to have invented a hot air balloon for battlefield reconnaissance, sold the idea to Ney and promptly disappeared with the money.

It would be even funnier if in Poke-verse, the guy sold Ney a Drifloon.

Mudsdale is because Ney started out as a hussar/cavalryman, Pyroar because "that man is a lion!", Talonflame is a brave bird that has the powerful recoil-causing moves Brave Bird and Flare Blitz, Midnight Lycanroc is red and loves to charge in, Armarouge is also red, loyal and gallant.

Murat

Rapidash, Milotic, Sylveon, Gallade, Sirfetch'd, Vanilluxe

Obviously a horse man needs a horsie, and a fiery unicorn is definitely up Murat's alley. As the beau sabreur of France, he also needs valiant swords-pokemon by his side, and also the most fashionable and beautiful pokemon with him, such as one that grows from an unassuming fish into a splendid creature and one that evolves with love and affection.

I was stuck on the last pokemon to give him. It's a bit anachronistic, but what if King of Naples had, uh, Neapolitan ice cream.

Sorry.

Also Rapidash and Sylveon go along with...

Bessières

Galarian Rapidash, Zebstrika, Swanna, Indeedee, Furfrou, Glaceon

Another horse man obviously needs a horsie, and look, I enjoy Murat and Bessières's friendship and shipping, I do like the idea of paralleling them with their Rapidashes and Eeveelutions.

I was thinking Umbreon because Umbreon is my favourite eeveelution and Umbreon evolves via happiness, but Glaceon's hair kinda fits and Bessières was described as seeming to be "cold". Ah well, I'm sure Glaceon loves him anyway.

Zebstrika is another horse, and Bessières is described as having eyes that "project lightning bolts". I think there's a description of his manor's lake having swans, and he did teach his men to swim at one point? Indeedee is a gentlemanly pokemon, and Furfrou, there was a claim that Bessières was a hairdresser at one point, and he does wear his hair in "dog ears".

Soult

Dachsbun, Appletun, Smeargle, Oranguru, Thievul, Skarmory

I could have filled this all up with baking jokes. Dachsbun, Appletun, Centiskorch, Alcremie, Slurpuff, uh, maybe I couldn't. Exeggcute. Anyway.

Soult had an appreciation for art and took some from the pieces that had already been looted, and I think with him being known for Strategy he might enjoy Smeargle's potential in learning Any Move. Oranguru is a teacher, Soult was a drill sergeant, same thing, right.

Thievul... Soult was not the worst plunderer but gained a reputation for being such. I was thinking a dark type to represent that reputation (as well as the Roi Nicolas thing) and tossing up between Liepard - as the Dalmatia coat of arms has leopards - and Thievul. But then I thought about the Duke of Wellington going "View Halloo! I have you now!" to Soult, years later, and the association of that kind of cry with fox hunting, and the legend of Wellington going fox hunting with French soldiers, and that clinched it.

Skarmory is because I wanted a steel type for Monsieur "Iron-Arm", a lot of steel-types I've already put aside for the obvious, and Skarmory is my favourite Pokemon. Their feathers harden in the thorny nests that they grow up in, that's totally like what Soult did at the camps of Boulogne right.

Masséna

Clefable, Klefki, Gholdengo, Persian, Sneasler, Grimmsnarl

I admit I got a bit stuck here.

Sneasler, Klefi and Grimmsnarl are inspired by Masséna as a smuggler before rejoining the army, with Sneasler helping out in the mountainous areas.

Clefable is based on thoughts of the "Dear Child of Victory" - I didn't want to use Legendaries here, otherwise there is Literally A Victory Pokemon - and I kinda characterise Masséna in my head as a gambler, so a pokemon with Metronome makes sense to me.

Persian and Gholdengo is because he did like his plundering and he was pretty salty about losing his "Livorno millions"!

Davout

Metagross, Bisharp, Lucario, Corviknight, Bastiodon, Swellow

Oh look this is where all the steel types went, to the Iron Marshal. I really wanted him to have Metagross and Bisharp as they'd make great buddies for a tactician and strategist, and then the other three steel types are also just cool for the goddamn Iron Marshal.

Swellow is purely because of the cute partridge story (and this is the second time I've referenced something @northernmariette has posted!). Swellow also has the ability Guts, where its attack rises if it is afflicted with a status problem. I think Davout is pretty gutsy, too!

Napoleon

Empoleon, Dragapult, Vespiquen, Clawitzer, Falinks, Braviary

Napoleon needs an Empoleon, the pokemon literally named after Napoleon.

Dragapult and Clawitzer are artillery pokemon. Vespiquen and Braviary are symbolic of the First French Empire, with Vespiquen's rulership over Combees being very fitting.

And Falinks could both represent the Grande Armee... and also be a remnant of his fallen friend.

Miiiiight write some fanfic for this if the inspiration hits and I survive this last week.

What do you think what type of Pokémon trainer would he be and what type of Pokémon would he have?

I have thoroughly thought this out and has even written this in my Pokémon AU post but I’ll just go into more detail here!

Pokémon AU! Iguro Obanai

“Lord of the Poisons~ welcome him, Iguro Obanai~! He’ll wear down your Pokémon with deadly poisons and drown out your chances of winning~! The one and only Poison Elite Nine”

Type of Pokémon

Obanai uses Poison-type and he would be a Elite Four member(or Elite Nine as to fit the Hashira)

Kaburamaru would be a Shiny Ekans(as Shiny Ekans are the closest to white, small snake Pokémon you can get)

Obanai uses Poison-types solely because Kaburamaru is a Poison-type

Obanai’s choice of his league team is the following in exact order;

Seviper, Scolipede, Drapion, Toxicroak, Crobat & Nidoqueen

Nidoqueen is Obanai’s ace and strongest of his six. The reason Nidoqueen was chosen over Nidoking is as a attempt, to try cure Obanai of his fear over women

Nidoqueen is practically Obanai’s starter Pokémon, gifted from the Master, and she has special IVs and access to a Mega transformation

Whilst all the other five Pokémon on his team are self-found

Type of Trainer

Obanai is extremely strict and tough on his Pokémon. He suspects them to follow his commands with no hesitation and he won’t take shit. If they purposefully disobey him, he’ll punish them

By putting them in the PC at the Pokecentre for a few hours so they learn their lesson

As a Elite Four/Nine, Obanai is one of the nine most powerful Pokémon trainers in Japan and his training schedule reflects this

Obanai uses direct counteractive moves to get around his Pokémon’s weaknesses. Every one of his Pokémon can fight a ground-type or a psychic-type

Kaburamaru is not a battle Pokémon, kept out as a detection and security alarm as his senses are refined. Many shiny collectors try to buy Kaburamaru off Obanai

Anytime Obanai is out of the Tokyo Plateau, he is exploring the forests for specific berries and natural healing to support to defence items to be held by his Pokémon for additional help, alongside his two allowed Super Potions

Obanai is not favouritistic towards any of his six team but with his ace Nidoqueen, he is slightly less tough on as she is his best fighter

Obanai’s main strategy up against enemies is the poisoning status condition. He uses Poison Jab or Cross Poison and once he has inflicted poison, he mixes inbetween offence and defence until the enemy Pokemon faints from poison

However. Obanai is very grateful of and protective over his Pokémon. The moment even just one is injured or fainted, he either rushes it to a pokecentre or uses his own supplies to heal it

Kaburamaru is the only Pokémon that stays out constantly. His team are usually sleeping in their pokeballs unless summoned, Obanai believes they should preserve their strength if not being used

Obanai doesn’t nickname his Pokémon. They all are called by their species like Sanemi. He may shorten down their names at times, as when he called Nidoqueen; “Nido” but that’s it

Fun Facts

Obanai’s room in the Tokyo Plateau is a very forest-like environment, full of poison-type Pokémon in the trees. He seems to be fine staying in the room as the Pokémon must be docile

Obanai collects Fairy-type Pokémon to give to Mitsuri. She has a few gift Fairy-types from Obanai and the only non-fighter Pokémon she has shown out, the Alcremie is also from Obanai

Obanai prefers using Nidoqueen and Crobat when having to battle Legendaries

Obanai is apart of the ‘big three’ of the Elite Nine members, alongside Gyomei and Muichiro

Yes. I still purposefully picked Crobat whilst being fully aware of it’s friendship evolution method. Obanai and his Crobat have a close relationship than can rival his with Nidoqueen

Obanai’s Nidoqueen is clingy and playful. She likes making friends but she has a very serious side and can be really cruel. She is very attached to Obanai and gets jealous over Mitsuri

Obanai’s Crobat is a quiet, monotone Pokémon by nature. He gets a thrill out of battling and likes to trick humans into thinking he drinks blood. He views Obanai as his surrogate human father

Obanai’s Toxicroak is a fun jokester, who messes with his opponents and enjoys playing with younger Pokémon he finds. He gets scolded the most by Obanai for his unserious, light-hearted behaviour

Obanai’s Drapion is a ferocious, emotionless machine built for battling. He doesn’t like his fellow teammates and expresses favouritistic love towards Obanai. He will never disobey Obanai

Obanai’s Scolipede is very calm and friendly. He enjoys setting up Pokecamps and likes to race other Pokémon for fun. He is also a big metalhead, Obanai and him bond over metal music

Obanai’s Seviper is elegant and dark, with a nasty thirst for victims to bite. It simply despises having no attention and enjoys participating in Pokémon contests. He and Obanai have a matching fang of severity

Obanai’s only non-battle Pokémon are all from Mitsuri; so a Muk, a Stuntank(since both are poisons), a Mawile(since she thought Mawile is a cool fairy type) and a Galarian Weezing(since it’s a mixture of poison and fairy)

saw emery make a new journeys team for ash and wanted to take a crack at it + idea for his horizons team

journeys:

inteleon: chose this as the starter he gets because i like the idea of there being an arc of him taking this very timid pokemon that wants to be strong but feels too weak to make a difference and ash is the one that helps it gain confidence. was also gonna say that it could look up to leon's inteleon but i'm assuming that leon would only have rillaboom like it is in the games rather than all three starters

flapple: i originally chose this to be the sweeper that ash tends to prefer before realizing oh wait flapple's speed is actually kinda mediocre. still like it as a choice for him though

falinks: stealing emery's idea here because i'm biased and falinks is my favourite gen 8 pokemon. emery mentioned dracovish being the "oddball" choice for ash but i think falinks fits that better since dracovish is (was?) very popular in competitive scenes. idk man i just like falinks

alcremie: fuck mr mime ash deserved to have an actual fairy type. again stealing emery's idea of it being the same one from the cake episode because that's the episode that made me start to really like alcremie

perrserker: honestly so disappointed that matori's alolan meowth never showed up again after sun and moon so here's my continuation of that with ash getting a galarian meowth. i think it has comedic potential with it loving team rocket's meowth (contrast to matori's meowth being a cunt) but tr's meowth fucking hates it. also perrserker is just a good pokemon and i think it suits him

honourable mentions:

toxtricity: either form could work. i liked the idea of ash getting a toxel egg and raising it but i forgot that there's this unspoken rule that ash can't have any other electric type besides pikachu so i scrapped it

stonjourner: another choice for the "weird" team member. don't really have much reasoning behind this one other than i think it would be kinda cute in a strange way?

mr rime: instead of them retconning delia's mr mime, ash instead gets a galarian mr mime and evolves it. if leon still has his mr rime then there could be a rivalry there maybe?

horizons:

quaquaval: typically i consider fuecoco to be the most ash-like starter, but i really love the idea of arven being a potential companion and i think he should get fuecoco because of it being food-themed. i could honestly see ash getting both too but i prefer this. i don't think he would get sprigatito though, though i think meowscarada suits him too

armarouge: taking horizons and paldean winds into account, i think scarlet is considered to be the canon version that the anime would follow. also if we use amethio as a stand-in for the rival (or hell he could still be there) then i think ash getting armarouge would contrast nicely with his ceruledge

houndstone: alright hear me out: ash gets a houndstone, female companion gets a dachsbun (or vice versa really), arven has his mabosstiff. ahh ahhh i'm roatating it in my midn it's beautfiul *puppy dog town* *puppy dog village* ***cuppy dog city*** i wanna i wanna go ahhh

dudunsparce: let's finally give this man his dunsparce. he can even have a three-segment version as a treat

koraidon: come on it's the sv box legendary of course he has to have that. same reasoning as armarouge for choosing koraidon over miraidon. i promise this isn't my favouritism speaking

honourable mentions:

bombirdier: the weird choice. emery and i had a joke about ash owning a bombirdier that would randomly kidnap babies (evil stork) and hijinks ensue and i was so tempted to go with it because of that but ultimately decided against it. if not ash then i think this should've been on team rocket's paldean team

grafaiai/lokix: ???? idk i just think it would be cool

palafin: would've been on the team if not for quaquaval

tinkaton: tinkaton

Gnosia Characters as Pokemon Trainers

I’v been thinking for a while about which types of Pokemon would be used by Gnosia characters. This is mainly based on my personal impressions. Order of the characters is totally random. THIS MAY AND WILL CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS FOR GNOSIA.

First of all, I think that Setsu would be using fighting types, just because their past as a soldier. For some reason I see them with the ones like Machamp or Lucario.

Raqio would definitely be the psychic-type trainer. They could also use some fairy-types, according to their fancy sense of style, but I think that psychic type (according to some events) would fit them much better. Alakazam or even Mewtwo (if we include legendaries) would be a cool match for them.

Next is Stella. Well, I thought about grass/fairy type for her. Grass type just because the Plastic Flower event and fairy type... I dunno, she reminds me of Gardevoir a bit, maybe that’s the case.

Next one is Shigemichi. Dunno, he’s just electric/bug type for me. There’s no more to explain, it’s just an impression. I think he would look cool with Vikavolt or even Magnemite if we include just electric type.

Sha-ming could be either fighting type or ground/rock for me. Similar to Shigi’s case, pure impression. I’d see him with Gliscor or Krookodile.

Jonas could use steel or poison types. Steel, because of, well, the thing attached to his arm, and poison, because... well, I just claim that he’s.. let’s put it in kind words, a connoisseur of alcoholic beverages, which TECHNICALLY is poisoning an organism. He’d look cool with Magearna or Seviper

Yuriko is definitely Dark/Ghost user and I do not want any discussion about that. I can only imagine her ordering Gengar to use Dream Eater on basically anyone who would cross her.

Otome is easy to link as a water type. Like, come on, she’s a damn whale. Tbh any fish pokemon would fit her good.

Remnan.. poor boy, I’d give him ghost type, just because how traumatized his character is. The perfect partner for him imo would be Mimikyu.

SQ, the bimbo queen. Come on, we can all agree that she’d definitely use pure fairy type. Florges, Togepi, Alcremie, anything cute would fit her as a good partner.

Next one is Comet. Well, according to her place of origin, which is high in lethality planet, the poison type would probably be the best. According to her.. slimy thing, her main pokemon would be Muk.

Chipie. Well, Chipie is a cat person (literally and figuratively). He could be friend with any cat pokemon, but the main type would be normal in my opinion.

Kukrushka. Technically I could give her a fairy type, but some traumatic event called KUKRUSHKA INCIDENT leads me to give her a dark type. I think that she could use Zoroark or Sableye.

The last one, but definitely not the least, is Gina. Technically, she’s a space traffic controller, I could give her for example a steel type, but I have no clue what specific Pokemon she could have as a partner.

Hey so what I put Clive in Pokemon I don't think he'd be a trainer, mostly because I don't think he'd like watching his loved ones get hurt in battle (even if he knows it's largely inconsequential), so he just keeps his pokemon as pets. He has a pokemon related job, though, he breeds Alcremies. He's still a journalist, too, I imagine that Alcremies are docile and self-sufficient enough you can leave them alone for a few hours a day, but he still spends a lot of time with them and he loves them very much.

Pokemon aus aren't anything new, but the presentations of the first drawing is very much based on this post by @ceylonpure, so go and check that out!

Explanations for all of my choices for his team and a bit about how he got them under the cut :)

Corviknight (Obsidian) - It's a big metal bird! Giant robots and birds are kinda his whole deal, so I mushed em together and got a Corviknight. I imagine Obsidian was just a rookidee that hung out around Constance's estate that Clive befriended and eventually caught. She's been with him for so long, she's basically a therapy animal.

Porygon2 (Kyanite) - Similar reasoning to Obsidian, Porygon2 is a duck made of code. It being a program and not a robot is still fitting too, because I think he's a fucking NEEEEEEEERD. He saw a cool listing for a Porygon on Poke-Amazon or something and had Kyanite shipped from Kanto. He evolved it into a Porygon2 himself, and he refuses to evolve them any further because he doesn't wanna give them a virus.

Magnemite (Hematite) - It's a cute little magnet robot! I'll be honest I don't have much reason for putting it here other than "robot" and "looks kinda like Wheatley from Portal." There was an infestation of Magnemite around the local power plant, and while reporting on it, Clive managed to snag one for himself. Hematite is menacing his electronics to this day.

Hoothoot (Quartz) - Not only is it a kind of avian, it also has a clock motif, which lines up with the game Clive's from. I also imagine he's a bit of a night owl, so it's only fair he'd meet one. I think he might've just been hanging out under a tree one night when Quartz fell down and bonked him on the head. Then he caught her.

what pokemon team would you think saiki would have?? (just saw the saiki art and got immediate brainrot)

It depends, I think! I'm 100% sure he wouldn't strive to be a pokémon champion nor a coordinator. And since his mom's allergic to cats, I don't believe he would keep a feline pokemon or one with too much fur. No bugs either! Dark pokémon would make him nervous too, I believe. I can see him having pokémon themed after sweets. (I HC that he wanted to only have normal typed pokemon, but his psychic aura just scares them)

I think he would have:

An Alcremie: (they look like sweets and some are pink colored!)

A Natu: I HC that one just started to follow him out of nowhere and never left. It stays in his room at all times

A Slowpoke: They are pink and very, very dumb. It's a very slow psychic type. Saiki wouldn't like to have one that needed too much maintenance, I believe

A Clefairy: In lore, they come from the moon? They are very rare, and serve as pets. I like to think that Kusuke bought it for him before going away to England for no apparent reason. Kusuo wasn't impressed (also, they're weird. I like to think that Kusuo kept it because the weirdness grew onto him after a while)

A Swoobat: they are psychic type mons! Very cute! They evolve by friendship as well. I like to think that Shun and Kusuo traded pokémon once they became closer friends. Shun traded its preevolution, woobat, for a golbat. (He thought a crobat looked cooler)

And... A Sewaddle. Now, I may be biased, since I love the Leavanny line, but I like to think that in my pkm au Kurumi has a Leavanny, since they are quite maternal. She would have gifted its egg to Kusuo, with Sewaddle being his first pokémon. Now, they are bug types, but I think Kusuo would try to rationalize it as the Leavanny line being not bug enough, which I think is pretty funny.

Now, I think he would name them all... but very short and unimaginative names. However, since Swoobat is traded from Shun, it's the only exception to this. Its name is Darkest Shadow of the Crimson Sky. Saiki calls it simply Shadow.

Random Video Game Themed Question Prompts - Part 2

Part 2 of this little video game prompt thing! I thought this one would be easier because it's actually all Pokemon themed! But they asked a lot of questions I just don't know cause I haven't played all the games lol. But regardless, this was very fun! And I'm having a bit of Poke Mania after beating Platinum!

Part 1

1 - Favorite Pokemon

My favorite Pokemon for ages now is Charizard. I know it's a basic pick but think about for a bit and it makes total sense. Dragon. Fire. Salamander theme. Green elements. It's kind of tailor made for me. Not to mention Firered was my first game, and Charmander my first Pokemon! Also, I love him in Smash Bros. ALSO YEAH I LIKE POPULAR THINGS OKAY THAT'S WHY THEY'RE POPULAR-

2 - Favorite Game

Personally I am still really biased to Pokemon Firered. It's my first, so I have a lot of really good memories with it. I love the GBA, I love the sprites and music. And it's just a deeply important game to me. Though I do think SoulSilver is better in pretty much every way, I just have too much love for Firered. But if we're not counting spinoffs currently Emerald is my favorite!

3 - Favorite Spinoff

This one is easy, it's Pokemon Snap. Both games are seriously some of my favorite video games of all time. And it's the closest we'll ever get to a Pokemon Shmup/On-Rails Shooter. I also just love taking pictures in video games and I love seeing Pokemon in their natural environments, so it's pretty much tailor made for me. A close runner up would be Pokken but the only reason it's not number 1 is cause 3D Fighting Games are harder than 2D ones lol.

4 - Favorite Legendary

It's Mewtwo, let's not beat around the bush on this one, it's Mewtwo. He's one of my favorite characters ever, one of my favorite Smash Bros. characters, the star of one of my favorite movies, he's bad ass. I just really love Mewtwo. But some of my other favorites are Lugia, Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza, and Kyreum!

5 - Favorite Mega

I'm sorry all these answers are so predictable It's the Mega Charizards. With a preference for X, but they both RULE. I actually love a LOT of Mega Evolutions though. Some of my other favorites are Gengar, Aerodactyle, Gardevoir, Mawille, Aagron, Banette, Garchomp, Abomasnow, Steelix, Lopunny, and Audino!

As for Gigantimax... Eeeeeh I think these are kinda stupid looking for the most part, apologies. Alcremie kinda clears though in my opinion. Coalossal, Appletun, Durraludon, the Kanto starters are ok though.

6 - Favorite Regional Variant

Honestly, really looking at it. I'm not sure which is my definitive favorite but DAMN Galarian Linoone is just PERFECT. It's better than actual Linoone imo and I think I like it more than Obstagoon too honestly. I also like Alolan Golem, Galarian Corsola, Alolan Muk, Hisuian Zoroark and Hisuin Goodra. This is still one of the best concepts introduced into Pokemon, btw.

7 - Favorite Starter

It's Charmander. Sorry guys it's just the coolest and evolves into my favorite starter. But since that's such a predictable answer at this point I'll do you one better and list my favorite Starter from each region (I pick my favorites based on their final forms lol): Charmander, Totodile, Mudkip, Turtwig, Snivy?, Fennekin, Popplio, Grookey, Sprigatito.

Also I think Kanto, Jhoto, and Kalos have the strongest set of final stage starter Pokemon! Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr in particular are 3 of my all time favorites.

8 - Favorite Region

In terms of Pokedex? It's between Kanto, Jhoto, Unova, and maybe Kalos? In terms of games? Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn? In terms of where I'd want to live? While I haven't played them all it's between Kanto and Hoenn I think.

9 - Favorite Pseudo Legendary

NOW THIS IS A TOUGH ONE! Lately the Pseudo Legendaries have genuinely become some of my favorite Pokemon from each region. Of course, right? They're all dragons lol. Goodra is probably the winner because I love slime and dragons. But some REALLY close runner ups are Tyranitar, Garchomp, and Dragapult.

While some are certainly stronger in terms of design and concept than others, I like them all though. The only one I'm eh on is Baxcalibur and even then I see the idea and I think some small design tweaks would really fix it for me.

Also random side note, but if they removed all the Pokemon currently in Smash and had to replace all of them with new ones. While I'd cry over Charizard and Mewtwo leaving... Just replace them all with all the Pseudo Legendaries. In fact, the Pseudo Legendary from each region would be a shoe in for each smash game if I was in charge!

10 - Favorite Mythrical

Darkrai. Next question.

Okay but seriously, I ADORE Darkrai. For a lot of similar reasons to Mewtwo. Bad ass design, cool concept, and their movie is one of my favorites. You guys know I love edgy badboys with hearts of gold and tragic backstories. Darkrai's movie is seriously one of my favorites and one of the only ones I've rewatched.

For runner ups? I didn't realize Genesect is Mythical? I LOVE Genesect. Also had a great movie. Also Meloetta is hot dude

11 - Favorite Rival

I've only played the first 4 games but personally I think I have to give it up to Blue. I think he's a lot cooler and more interesting than people remember. I feel like he gets remembered as a mean guy, but actually I feel like he's playfully a rival with you. Because he actually helps you a LOT during the game. But then as the game goes you progressively see him get more and more obsessed with power. And then finding out he's already the champion and having to tear him down is REALLY cool. I think it's one of the best parts of RBY.

Personally I haven't been super thrilled with the friendly rivals but I did think Wally was a neat idea where he starts out as a sick kid but genuinely gets pretty good. But it is messed up that you have to tear him down too lol. Just looking at the designs I like Bianca, N, Hubert, Shauna (though I remember her being annoying), Gladion, Marnie, and dude Klara is so fucking hot dude

12 - Favorite Professor

From the games I've played, Oak has kind of been the most interesting one no contest. But I do LOVE the designs of Juniper, Sonia, and Sada cause they're so hot dude

Although I kind of get the vibe that Kukui is gonna be my favorite by the time I get there.

13 - Favorite Elite 4 / Gym Leader / Champion

TOUGH QUESTION! I don't want this spoiled so I'm gonna only look at the ones I've beaten. Starting with Elite 4: It's probably Lance. He's really cool. Though Karen is absolutely up there. And I also like Lorelei, Phoebe, Drake, and Bertha. Also seeing Koga get upgraded between 2 games was cool.

Gym Leader: It's probably between Claire and Flannery? Dragon types obviously but also slightly older mean girls/tomboys. You know how it is. Erika is cute, Janine being Koga's daughter is cool, Giovanni was a cool concept, Whitney, Jasmine, Morty maybe, Roxanne, Norman is a great concept, Gardenia, Crasher Wake, Candice. Volkner has a cool design.

Champion: Again, probably Blue. I think it's the best built up for sure. And while seeing Lance get upgraded was cool, it's just Lance no offense. Steven could've been an ALL TIMER but Emerald kinda dropped the ball with that sadly. So, if not Blue. It's Cynthia. I'm sorry for being so thirsty on this post but she's SO hot and so cool and has such good taste in Pokemon.

14 - Favorite Villain Team

I think Team Rocket is neat but they're a little basic. But they're done pretty good in the first game and I think it's cool that they're a little more grounded than the rest. And Galactic is pretty crazy but I feel like the whole team isn't that cool as much as they're like, insane.

I probably have to go between Magma and Aqua. And while Aqua are pirates so objectively they're cooler. I think Magma's grunt designs are my personal favorite grunts so far. I genuinely want their evil hoodies with horns on them. And they love Groudon whose the coolest of the trio from Hoenn.

15 - Favorite Character

It's between Mewtwo and Darkrai. Again, they're both deeply important characters to me and both star in some of my favorite movies. But ultimately I do have to give it up to Mewtwo for being an edgy badboy made in a lab, his movie is also just really really good and I love him in Smash Bros and the Birth of Mewtwo and he's just so cool. I love Mewtwo. Darkrai runner-up

16 - Favorite Route/Town/City

I hate to say it but I don't really remember a lot of them off the top of my head. ATM I'm obsessed with Route 209's night theme from Platinum though lol. Going soley off of memory I would probably want to live in a place a little busy but not TOO crazy crowded. Maybe I'd like something like a beach town in Hoenn? Sunnyshore in Sinnoh was also a neat idea.

17 - Favorite Soundtrack

Ooof, tough question. I am certainly the most nostalgic for Firered personally. But I think from my playthroughs so far, a lot of Platinum songs really stuck out and stuck with me. 209, vs Galactic, the Celestic town guitar strumming theme lol. I also feel like I'm gonna REALLY like Black/White's ost cause from what little I played a lot of those songs stuck out to me. But yeah, I might have to give it up to FireRed personally. With my favorite song from it being Vs Champion Rival.

18 - Least Favorite Pokemon

SO... I hate to be a hater. But lately there have been some serious stinkers. However, I have 3 main "least favorite Pokemon". Number 1! Intelleon. Stupid design. Stupid motif. Never seen fanart that made it into a hot girl. How does it go from emo to 007? Huh? Wha? Stupid.

NUMBER 2! Calyrex. Stupid design. Looks stupid on the horses. Looks stupid off the horses. Drags down the cool horse designs. It's the best you could do for a KING pokemon? Seriously? I hate it.

NUMBER 3!! The worst of the worst: Quaquaval. No joke the only Pokemon to dethrone Intelleon to me. I HATE this Pokemon. I get the theme. I see the vision. But it's SO stupid looking. Again I don't want to be a hater, I know people like it. But it's design STINKS dude. I just hate it. Idk.

19 - Favorite Battle

My favorite battle COULD'VE been when you team up with Rayquaza to fight Groudon and Kyogre. But sadly that's only in my fanfic.

There's some really good ones. I love teaming up with Steven to fight the Magma admins. I liked fighting Giratina a lot, I thought that was cool and a nice surprise. I liked having Wally come back suddenly and be super strong at the end of victory road. But ultimately, again, I think I have to give it up to the RB Champion Blue fight. I know I keep saying it but it's so good and so well built up in my opinion. And unlike the friendly rivals, while I think Blue is friendlier than people believe. Watching him become more power hungry makes it feel good and like you have to cut him down when he starts getting out of line. Idk.

As for the Anime? I really like when Mewtwo fights Genesect and only beats him by giving him the overview effect lol. There's a lot of really good ones in the anime if I sat down and thought about it though.

20 - Favorite Type

It's Dragon Type, hands down. Dragons are cool, I love a lot of dragon types, and I LOVE the idea that ANYTHING can be a dragon, even a tree. It matches my love and philosophy of dragons a lot.

Outside of the obvious dragon pick. I like a lot of Fire types, Electric is one of my favorite powers but I'm not super married to a lot of Electric types, I'm always shocked by how many Water types I'm OBSESSED with considering I'm not crazy about Water powers. Ground, Poison, Dark, Bug, there's a lot of good types lol.

21 - Favorite Move

This is really tough. I love a lot of the big HM moves that make my runs super easy. Fly, Surf, Waterfall, ect ect. I love stuff like the elemental punches conceptually. I also like a lot of the dragon moves like Dragon Claw / Draco Meteor conceptually. But I think my all timer is Blast Burn! Again... Charizard lol. I had it on my Charizard in FireRed as a kid.

22 - Favorite Ability

I'm gonna be real with you... I don't know about any of those dang "abilities". But I do always like ones that up the type of the Pokemon. And I'm sure there's some really unique ones if I ever felt like reading through them all. Maybe I'll come back and update this one later. For now, let's go with Dragon's Maw cause it's a dragon theme.

23 - Favorite Item

The only items I really focus on are the held items. I really like, similar to abilities, ones that make certain type moves stronger. I use those a LOT during my playthroughs. I also pretty consistently get Quick Claw and make use of that, I think conceptually that and Dragon Claw are cool. I think King's rock conceptually is cool. As for Pokeballs I thin Ultraball looks cool, Net Ball, Heavy Ball, Dusk Ball... I never use them but they look cool lol. For battle items... uuuuuuh... Max Revive... idk.

24 - Favorite Z-Move / Max Move

I haven't gotten to Sun/Moon yet so idk what these even look like. I watched them all before but fuck me if I can remember them lmao. Just from skimming through: Splintered Stormshards, Pulverizing Pancake, Genesis Supernova, Bloom Doom (reminds me of The End FF8), Savage Spinout, Neverending Nightmare, Devastating Drake, Corkscrew Crash, Black Hole Eclipse, Tectonic Rage are all cool...

I actually think Tectonic Rage might be the best cause I was NOT expecting that shit lmao. Maybe that and Black Hole Eclipse!

25 - Favorite Shiny

Another good question! Off the top of my head I'd probably have to give it up to Charizard, cause edgy black Charizard is just SOOOO bad ass, but I can take a look through the Shiny Dex real quick and pick some other favorites: Nidoking, Golbat, Venomoth, Muk, Kingler, Weezing, Dragonite, Mewtwo, Mew, Yanma, Umbreon, Shuckle, Heracross, Tyranitar, Sceptile, Swampert, Gardevoir, Altaria, Relicanth, Metagross, Rayquaza, Lopunny, Bronzong, Garchomp, Giratina, Gigalith, Crustle, Haxorus, Druddigon, Braviary, Mega Gengar, Tyrantrum, Salazzle, Pyukumuku, Naganandel, Hisuian Sneasel, Hisuian Zoroark, Appletun, Veluza, Sandy Shocks, Iron Thorns, Hydrapple

That's a lot and I still think I missed some lol. But some of these I'd never seen before and actually gasped when I realized how good their shinies are. Like Haxorus, Salazzle, and Appletun whose shiny I now PREFER over the regular one lol

Episode 7: Yeah I’m not that big on Dot’s English voice. Especially when using her nidothing voice. It’s gonna take a lot of time to get used to it. No hate on her VA. Think I should add my intention is never to disrespect the VA’s or say they are bad. Some of them just aren’t my style but it’s a new series so I will eventually warm up to them. Wow that training was… something. I get they are weaker Pokémon but yeesh 😬. Fuecoco is still a cutie though and I can’t get mad at him. Damn Quaxly bitch slapped Roy lmao. Dot what kind of drawing is that? How dare you insult my child Fuecoco? I’m honestly iffy on Dot overall. I get she has a harsh and shy personality but from what I’ve seen via clips and stuff, she’s just ok imo. Not saying she’s a bad character, I’m just not big on her yet. I’m honestly not that big on Liko x Dot either. Damn that music before the training with Friede kinda slaps. I could vibe to it ngl. Yeah Murdock and Rockruff eye catcher! I hope to see more Rockruff focus in the future. I know Liko and Roy are new characters but y’all screaming the same move over and over ain’t gonna do anything 😭. Please say they don’t keep doing this cause it’s going to get annoying real fast. I love how smug the Cap copies look. Smug Pikachu is best Pikachu. THEY FELL ASLEEP?! You kidding me?! I know this is definitely from the old Anipoke but they handled weaker Pokemon battles way better. Even Pikachu vs Paras was more entertaining and funny than this. I’m not trying to be unfair. I know this is a new and completely different series but it’s kinda frustrating. Aw that Sprigatito drawing. FUECOCO ROCKING 😭. I love Fuecoco so much. Oh thank god they aren’t spam saying the same attack anymore. Thank you god. Wait let me reface, thank you Cap. Damn crucial development shown in the same episode? 👏🏻. Wait how did Dot know Rayquaza is in Paldea? Does it ever explain it? Guess I’ll find out

Episode 8: Sleepy Fuecoco 🥹. Friede over here sounding like a parent. “Ok good night.” He sounds exhausted lmao. I’m still meh on the opening. It’s definitely not bad but and imma just come out and say it, prefer to skip the intro. Please don’t kill me. Bitch gummy vitamins ain’t gonna do shit if she only eats fucking donuts 😭. Only in Pokémon can magical creatures exist and you can survive off just donuts and gummy vitamins. And she’s skinny as fuck too. If only man. ANN ANN ANN. LETS GO! Oh wait, she’s gone… damn ok 🥲. Way to toy with me Horizons. Aww Fuecoco copying Roy. Do you think they know about ultra beasts?? Since they are kinda like Pokemon from space? It would be cool if we see them in some way. Fuecoco drooling over berries aw. Shopping irl would be a lot more fun with Pokemon but I guess shopping and then buying Pokemon stuff will have to do. I love Sprigatito’s faces when Liko is doing the chores. So does Murdock just keep Alcremie locked in the cabinet at all times? I hope she can breathe. Damn Liko left the old man hanging. Liko with Nidothing is like me with Poofesure. He is the YouTuber who changed my life. I think the reason why I’m not big on Dot’s voice is because she sounds like a high schooler and not a young kid. Murdock said she is around Liko and Roy’s age and they are definitely not any older than 12. Oh my god Spoink is so adorable. Is Liko not gonna question that Nidothing also has a Quaxly?? I don’t think she ever makes the connection but I could be wrong. Horizons may be the thing to finally make me like Quaxly. I’ve never really been big on it and I don’t like its final form at all but this Quaxly is cool and I love its personality. Damn the cloth works? Do people really like Dot’s outfit? The green pants throw off the whole thing and from the spoilers I’ve seen of her next outfit, it’s not any better. Aw Murdock texting Dot. He’s such a good uncle 😭.

Episode 9: Paldea time! People went crazy over Orla x Mollie this episode but I feel nothing personally about the ship. Damn at this rate I won’t find any ships to ship. Fuecoco eating a popsicle 🥹. Fuecoco gets better and better as time goes on. Time to see Liko’s father, which luckily shot down what a lot of people were dreading. Liko’s house is in the middle of nowhere what the. Fidough time!!! Dog Pokémon never miss. Ok so I’m still confused on why they sent Liko to school but then immediately hired people to bring her back? Like why did you send her there in the first place then?? Do they ever explain that? Please let me know if they do because sometimes this show can be confusing. “It’s usually more of a good Pokémon.” DAMN LIKO. That was super harsh. Aw Sprigatito and Fidough bonding. I would love to see one of them catch a Paldea dog Pokémon. I hope we get to see Arven and Mabosstiff in the show. Gonna cry if they do the same plot though. Liko with her parents is kinda similar to Serena with Grace. The parents have good intentions but don’t express it correctly so then the kids get frustrated, making it hard to express themselves. Sprigatito waiting for Liko warms my heart. My doggos do the same thing with me and it shows they really love and care for us ❤️. Lechonk is a silly Billy. It sounds adorable and funny. So Liko has had the pendant for a while now? I thought she only got it when she went to Kanto. That painting of Sprigatito and Fidough oml 🥹

Wow I had a lot of thoughts this time around. I plan on finishing the final 3(?) episodes next time so look forward to that!

do u ever think abt what your team would be if you were a gym leader? i do. for all 18 types. here's normal, fire, and bug!!

(some of these pokemon were mons i've used in in-game teams! here's a list)

Mandarin the Darmanitan: Pokémon Black. He and Janice the Scrafty were the Route 4 Power Couple of the team, but you'll meet Janice if/when I ever draw my Dark type gymsona.

Zazzy the Salazzle: Pokémon Moon. Absolute powerhouse, swept the shit out of the grass trial.

Jack Swellow the Swellow: Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Embarrassingly, he wasn't initially named after Jack Sparrow. His name at first was just Jack, after the person I was compulsory-heterosexuality crushing hard on in middle school. When my cousin asked me for the origin of the nickname, I told her it was after Jack Sparrow, but Jack Swellow was too many characters. She immediately pointed out that it was just the right amount of characters, so I took him to the Name Rater and made the change then and there.

Alba the Noctowl: Pokémon Platinum. I like to think she's a lesbian and had a big crush on Antoinette, my Empoleon. They were very sweet with each other, in sharp contrast to Voltron the Luxray (in the inevitable Electric team) and Boneless the Gliscor (in the Flying team), who were toxic yaoi before I had ever considered the phrase "toxic yaoi".

Ursaring: Pokémon X. He had no nickname because I got him from Wonder Trade. I think if I did nickname him, I would've called him something really stupid, because I was 10. I'm tempted to say Freddy, but I don't think FNaF came out until after I had beaten X. Either way, he was kind of a beast. Did super well against Wikstrom with his Fighting moves.

Dunsparce: Pokémon Y. This guy actually did have a nickname, but I don't remember what it was. I actually played Pokémon Y with the language set to French to study for my French final in my junior year, and I beat it super quickly. Therefore, I don't remember a lot of my team members' names. There was a Nidoking who you'll see in the Ground team named Roi, but everyone else is evading me. Shockingly powerful, I ran paraflinch strats with Serene Grace, Glare, and Headbutt.

Gamzee the Obstagoon: Pokémon Shield. Don't look at the nickname. He was in a polyamorous relationship with Baby the Toxtricity (on the Poison team) and Sasha the Inteleon (who you won't see because I didn't include any starters on this list). He filled a similar role to Ursaring, having Fighting type moves for good coverage. For some reason, Sword and Shield are super good games to have a Fighting type in. Alas, I didn't have a Fighting type in those games, so that was Gamzee's job.

Snuggles the Frosmoth: Pokémon Shield. When I saw the leaks, I knew I had to use a Snom/Frosmoth. I didn't care how long it took to find one, I didn't care about the blatant 4x weaknesses, but I had to use it. She was super solid into Marnie's team when Whippy Cream the Alcremie (on the Fairy team) didn't quite cut it!

You are like one of the only people I know that I can talk about Pokemon to but if you want to watch an absolutely adorable episode with Raihan and Leon there's one in Master Journeys on Netflix where Opal brings everyone to her gym to bake with Alcremie but Raihan and Leon are so precious 💕

Leon literally asks his Alcremie to be his partner like "Would you do me the honor?" 😍🥺💖 Boi say less and the Alcremie BLUSHES like GIRL SAME WHY IS HE SO HOT?! AND RESPECTFUL!!??!!

Raihan is pulling some major Leona vibes because Opal straight up threatens him like "☺️ I will rock your shit dragon man try me" and you can't tell me that isn't Leona and Asha. Plus he takes a picture with his Alcremie!!! They're so cute together!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ He's such a dork in this episode I love him.

And they get cute little pink aprons too!! It's easily one of my favorite episodes.

The episode is called "The Sweet Taste of Battle" if you haven't watched it yet.

Admittedly I have not payed attention to the Pokémon anime since black and white. But this is just reminding me i should watch some of the swsh one, if no no there reason than these two.

But I have seen gifs and screenshots of this episode and honestly the Alcremie are me. Like they're blushing and swooning, I have not related to anything in Pokémon more lol. I love them SO DAMN MUCH.

Also I don't know what episode this was, but wasn't there a point where Raihan protects Sonia from the bad guys and then before he leaves says says something along the lines of "I'll be sure to take you out next time." I remember seeing that and was like, "jodfjnasl How the FUCK do i become Sonia!?"

Raihan has become one of absolute favorite Pokémon characters in years. I have not been this feral since Riley when I played Diamond back in the day. I also adore Leona and Piers though. They put something addictive in the characters this gen.

That most used team can suck my nuts, except maybe Pidgeot and Charizard, but the rest? Damn if I ain't ever used them in my life.

Anyways, you're about to replay the gens in order and you're making a team for each from the pokemon released in that generation. You are going to gen them in with perfect stats and EVs and movesets, so you don't have to worry about catching or anything, but you will still need the HM spread. What are your teams?

Just assume for each gen, the remakes are implied, and using bulbapedia to determine "required HMs"

Gen 1:

Venusaur (cut, obligatory starter) Slowbro (surf, I used it once in a Leafgreen playthrough so it's now obligatory for Kanto) Clefable (wildcard elemental/TM user) Dodrio (fun flyer) Rhyhorn (strength)

and I'm pretty sure I actually beat Red with just 5 mons, so, throw an Arcanine in there

Rare case where I let multiple of the same types on a team, but Clefable's fairy now and it was using different move types, so maybe that's how I rationalized it

Gen 2:

I liked the team from my crystal playthrough, but if it had a better exp distribution and could just use the pokemon straight from the start, I would've wanted:

Typhlosion ([all the gen 2 starters are fun, but after my playthrough as cool as shiny magmar was, I was really missing a unique "new" fire type], Cut/Rock Climb for gen 4) Kingdra (Waterfall/Whirlpool) Heracross (Strength) Xatu (Fly) Sneasel (it learning surf is still too funny) Miltank

Gen 3:

Blaziken (obligatory starter, Cut) Flygon (Fly) Exploud (variety elemental user, Surf, Strength) Cradilly Milotic (Waterfall, Dive) Mawile (Rock Smash)

Gen 4: Empoleon (Rock Smash, Surf, Waterfall, Rock Climb [sorry emploeon]) Vespiquen (Cut) Froslass Mismagius Lopunny (Strength) Togekiss (Fly)

It's harder to get around type repeats considering the pokemon I'd want to use, so eh

Gen 5: Did you know you literally only need cut for BW? Wild.

Serperior (cut) Meloetta (the rare legendary, but I never got to use her and we're already cheating) Hydreigon (Surf/Strength) Braviary (Fly) Carracosta (Dive/Waterfall) Elektross

and with B2/W2, I do remember using Lucario, Arcanine, Ampharos and Flygon

Oh, this I can pull from my hacked double battle playthrough with the team I beat Leon with (unfortunately the hack I was using didn't turn him into a double battle): Rillaboom, Alcremie, Dracovish,Rotom (flying), Frosmoth, Coalossal

but for a while I was a hail trainer, replacing Dracovish and Coalossal with Froslass and Lapras

I haven't played Legends Arceus, but I probably would've gone Hisuian Samurott, Sneasler, Hisuian Goodra, Togekiss, Electivire, Hisuina Zoroark

Gen 9:

And this one I'm also satisfied with my team from my playthrough, up to my battle with Nemona, I had: Meowscarada (of course), Dudunsparce, Glimmora, Tinkerton, Gholdengo and Chien-Pao (legendary and doubles on dark, but not immune to ice kitty)

So that being said, looking back at that "most used teams" video

I sync up with Typlosion and Heracross

everybody seemed to be using the same B2W2 team

I did use Decidueye on my first playthrough, but I also got wonder traded a popplio very early on, Kommo-o, Alolan Raichu

Coalossal only one making the team, and using the hisuian pokemon isn't really being avant garde

Meowscarda reasonably popular, Tinkaton of course is popular

A few weeks ago me and my friend made a pokemon au thing for Sv and uh

my friend suggested for Sv it could be 2 different routes (one route is the Svs the other route is the Eves)

Here's the gym leaders with the teams bc idk what else to post-

Some of these pokemon choices are a little weird mainly because we thought it'd be funny and some choices were made bc of other characters/past/detail about character/ect.

The (e) stands for evolution (like the battles in Sword and Shield so like they have full teams [which also is connected to "|" that separates the pokemon] so yeah-)

Choice 1

The Ghost Gym Leader: Kuro

Team: Mimikyu and Froslass | Gendar, Chandelure, Dragapult and Hisuian Zoroark

Reasoning: Mimikyu bc I personally think they'd be good friends, Froslass bc my friend suggested it-, Gengar I forgot why-, Chandelure for... Obvious reasons.... (I'm sorry Kuro that was my fault-), Dragapult I don't remember-, and Hisuian Zoroark I also don't remember-

The Flying Gym Leader: Hugh

Team: Noibat(e) and Zubat(e) | Noctowl, Corviknight, Staraptor and Gyarados

Reasoning: both bats are obvious, Noctowl idk my friend said so-, the rest because I think it's funny to give him massive ass pokemon

The Dark Gym Leader: JeJe

Team: Seviper, Houndoom and Umbreon | Mighteyena, Midnight Lycanroc and Garchomp

reasoning: IK SEVIPER ISN'T DARK IT'S POISON BUT ME AND MY FRIEND SAID "no one's gonna know" (but now I'm posting this onto the internet for people to see so-) SO HUSH, Houndoom I don't remember-, Umbreon was bc of me-, and the rest were bc of my friend-

The Psychic Gym Leader: Freya

Team: Gardevoir, Espeon and Female Meowstic | Alakazam, Delphox and Persian

Reasoning: Gardevoir because I said so, Espeon bc purple and I wanted to give all of them Eeveelutions-, Meowstic just fit her look, Alakazam bc I don't remember-, Delphox is a witch(I'm pretty sure it is-), and Persian bc Persian is pretty

The Electric Gym Leader: Hyde

Team: Boltund, Jolteon, Luxray, and Raichu | Togedemaru and Manectric

reasoning: energetic/rude at first/emo/hj pokemon oh also Togedemaru is a hedgehog

The Fighting Gym Leader: Ildio

Team: Machomp, Hawlucha, Hitmonchan and Pangoro | Lucario and Blaziken

reasoning: they're buff/strong pokemon (I don't know why Hawlucha is there-)

The Fairy Gym Leader: Lily

Team: Sylveon, Florges, Hatterene and Alcremie | Gardevoir and Clefable

Reasoning: slyveon is pretty explainable (from what I said last time), and most of the pokemon are pretty or sweet (literally or like personality wise-)

The Grass Gym Leader: Tsubaki

Team: Sudowoodo, Venusaur, Phantump (e), Lilligant and Leafeon | Gourgeist

Reasoning: Sudowoodo because we thought it was fucking hilarious, Venusaur because flower, Phantump bc dead ghost child, Lilligant bc flower, Leafeon because Sakuya (just turn the leaf hair to the side and it Sakuya but as a Pokemon-) and Gourgeist because ghost plant and like it curses people (doesn't Tsubaki say he was gonna curse everyone and like does that spell thing with the lanterns-)

Choice 2

The Normal Gym Leader: Mahiru

Team: Buneary(e) and Skitty(e) | Kangskhan, Snorlax, Furret, and Furfrou

Reasoning: because my friend said so- , Kangskhan bc it's a mom, Snorlax bc Kuro, and the rest bc my friend said so-

The Water Gym Leader: Tetsu

Team: Feebas(e) and Wailmer(e) | Bibarel, Vaporeon, Floatzel and Gastradon (East)

Reasoning: he works at a hotsprings what do you expect?

The Ground Gym Leader: Mikuni

Team: Lycanroc, Diglett(e) and Stunfisk | Sandaconda, Sandslash and Marowak

Reasoning: I don't remember why tf we gave him ground

The Electric Gym Leader: Izuna

Team: Dedenne, Charjabug(e) and Manectric | Ampharos, Electivire, Rotom

Reasoning: she's an inventor Dedenne bc it's small and cute and could probably help her, Charjabug bc charge, Manectric bc Freya, and the other 2 I don't know-, and Rotom bc it posses stuff

The Fighting Gym Leader: Licht

Team: Lucario, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan and Hitmontop | Primeape and Bewear

Reasoning: first 4 I don't remember know aside from Hitmonlee bc kicking, Primeape bc it's always angry (idk aside from that and I'm the one who added it-) and Bewear bc it's cute and deadly

The Fire Gym Leader: Niccolo

Team: Hisuian Arcanine, Ninetales, Rapidash and Talonflame | Emboar and Turtonator

Reasoning: I don't know why we gave him fire H Arcanine bc it's cool and fits Nicco's aesthetic (sorta-), Rapidash bc my friend suggested it-, Talonflame fits (sorta-), Emboar bc Ildio, and Turtonator because my friend suggested it again-

The Psychic Gym Leader: Misono

Team: Galarian Rapidash, Galarian Slowking, Male Indeedee and Female Indeedee | Reuniclus and Exeggutor

Reasoning: psychic just fits Galarian Rapidash looks regale (is that the right word?) and just fits, G Slowking also fit with the whole king and purple thing, both Indeedees bc Lily and he's rich- the last two was you guessed it.. My friend suggested it-

The Dark Gym Leader: Sakuya

ik he's not an eve but SHHHHH

Team: Midnight Lycanroc, Absol, Zoroark, Thievul and Weavile | Honchkrow

Reasoning: M Lycanroc bc Sakuya's emo/hj, Absol bc he told Misono about Tsubaki's plan (also just bc it fits-) , and the rest I honestly don't remember and my friend suggested it too-

Introduction Post

Hi! Welcome to my blog! My name's Callister but you can just call me Cal and my pronouns are he/him.

I was born here in the Galar region so I basically lived here for my entire life. I'm currently studying at a pokemon school in Hammerlocke so I can get my degree in Pokemon veterinary. I want to become a Pokemon vet when I graduate. I also work part-time at a pokemon cafe called Alcremie a la mode. I might even drop some special deliveries so make sure to keep an eye out for that!

More about me

My dad is a pokemon ranger that's currently on a business trip for a few weeks and my mom used to be a water type gym leader in Hulburry before the current gym leader Nessa took over. I also have a younger sister. She's five and adorable. I got my starter when I was 10. I joined the Galar league at 12 years old but quitted mid way because I thought it wasn't quite right for me. I have a penpal in Hoenn name @coordinatorsunny. She's super cool so please check her out!

My Pokemon

I have a lot of but my team consists of 5/6 pokemon. I may not have a lot of human friends but my pokemon are the bestest friends that I can ever ask for but on my team and not my team!

Obsidian the Corviknight ♂️

My boi and my starter! I got him on my 10th birthday as a present from my dad. Not only is he my starter but he's also my best friend! There is not a single day where I don't cherish him!

Crash the Drednaw ♂️

I got this guy from route 1 when I started my journey. Even though he seems scary on the outside but he's actually quite nice. Just a bit of a grump that's all. He also likes to nibble on my toes just for fun. It's kinda cute. Named him after a famous wrestler in Johto name crasher wake.

Drew the Dragapult ♀️

Caught her in the wild area when she was a dreepy. She's a cheerful and precious girl! She's also curious too about human stuff. Like one time I was just slurping on some instant ramen and she was just staring at me for 10 minutes straight. Oddly cute for some reason.

Spicy the Centiskortch ♀️

Also caught her in the wild area. She's loves battling other pokemon and absolutely crushed the first gym battle. She's very serious but she's also quite sweet too. Named her Spicy because I was craving for spicy curry at the time lol.

Diamond the Glaceon ♀️

Last but not least we have Diamond! But me and my family just call her Dia for short. Caught her in Turffield when she was a eevee and evolved into a glaceon when she touched a ice stone in Circhester on accident. Still happy for her though! She's really shy and might act cold to strangers but she becomes less shy and more friendly once you get close to her.

Other

Spike the Toxtricity (Amped form) ♂️

I got spuke when he was toxel from a pokemon nursery. He's really friendly and chill and get's long well with my main team. He's decent at battling but I didn't add him to my team because he's more interested in music than battling so I just let him do his own thing.

Bianca the Blissey ♀️ and Abby the Audino ♀️

I got these 2 cinnamon rolls (whom I love so much) from my medical teacher to help me with my studies in Pokemon veterinary. These 2 are absolute angels! They really help me a lot for my veterinary studies and always help me relax whenever I get stressed from my studies.

Rules:

-No cyber bullying (or any kinds of bullying), no xenophobia (racism), no homophobia, no any kinds of harassment, no spamming, no nsfw content, and respect each other's opinions.

-Also my Oc Callister isn't as energetic or bright as my other Oc Sunny since he is supposed to be the more calmer and aloof one. He may also be a bit socially awkward so please excuse that.
