I love the dichotomy of people. I love being able to be soft and being able to kick ass and I love seeing that same softness and edge in others. I love similarities and differences. I love seeing someone's soft underbelly because they trust me to see it and to know that I won't hurt them. I'd fight for them, I'd bleed for them, I'd put myself last for them every time.

Because everyone deserves to be that safe with someone. Friend, lover, partner, whatever. Everyone deserves to know there's someone in their corner, ready to support their dreams, ready to defend their weak spots, ready to tear the world apart for them if it means they're safe and happy. If it means they know they're loved.

Made the mistake a couple weeks ago of letting the dogs sleep in the bed with us and now Ollie cries and woofs until I get up out of my comfy warm bed, tell him to lay down in his kennel, and wait until he actually calms down.

No idea why he started doing this again, as it has literally never worked in the past. The two days we let them sleep in bed was because I had the sads. So idk whats up with him, he gets so entitled.

Hubband, unfortunately, is very much a guy, and he falls asleep through it. Meanwhile it grates on my nerves and stops me from falling asleep.
