I painted all of markus's works. I also made a custom box based on the Bellini paint from the game.
The original paintings in the game was done digitally; I recreated them traditionally. All were painted with Bocour Bellini oil paints. Only exception that I used Vasari PB33 Barium Manganate for the cyan, and PR 187 Carl’s Crimson for the darker reds.
Bocour worked with his nephew Golden to produce handmade paint. Golden eventually released the well-known Golden line. Golden eventually merged with Williamsburg and produces the handmade oils and so I think using Carl's Crimson here is acceptable. Unfortunately Bocour died and so did his line of Bellini paints.
Looking forward to doing some of Carl’s paintings.

$5 for the yellow “Dog Mama” t-shirt (”Dog Mama” got appliquéd over with red vinyl, which was apparently the only suitable red fabric I had on hand for colour-matching the STEVE logo)
$10 for the black pleather jacket (added cuffs, elbow pads, painted pocket details, and reused the STEVE stencil I made ...for painting another STEVE on the back)
Made (in the span of a very focused week and entirely from stash fabric, s o m e h o w):
Appliqué for the yellow shirt, with cutouts in the red vinyl to have inset white STEVE letters.
White hood dickie.
Edits to the black pleather jacket.
Black velvet jester pants with grey sateen insets + the peeking-out tunic.

I’ve been stuck inside so I made a multimedia art project!
I’ve been making mix CDs on and off for a few years, can’t always depend on your phone for music, and decided I’d do one for one of the little podcasts keeping me company.
All of these songs remind me of The Magnus Archives in some way or another, and the art is largely based around how beaten up the poor Archivist gets.
