It is SO comforting that you are an adult who has not read Harry Potter, has no intention to read Harry Potter, and makes no apologies for not having read Harry Potter. I didn’t read them growing up and when I got to adulthood I kept going, “I’ll get around to it.” But depression is a bitch and reading HP was never important enough for me to force myself to do it despite the pressure I got from people. And then when little miss JK started spewing her hateful rhetoric I just went, “You know what? I’m fine without it.”

I do really like the movies though.

FNAF was so fun.

so. i watched anatomy of a fall

#FINALLY SOME GOOD FUCKING CINEMA #I LOVED IT SO MUCH HELLO???#and i wasn't even expecting anything from this movie i've only heard that it's good from my friend and that the doggo Acts in this one #and the trailer got me intrigued #and it was The Best decision to go see it in cinema #i was SO engrossed #and i'm Amazed at how GOOD this kid's AND the dog's acting is?!?!! are you kidding me ?!?!#they both deserve an oscar i'm so serious #i've never seen an animal Act like this #and i'm so impressed with the kid #also? are french courts and trials actually like this? bc if yes then it's fucked up #the prosecutor was PISSING ME OFF #and usually i don't like trial scenes in movies but here? they were pissing me off so much (good) that i was even more engrossed lol #oh and the fight scene was so good. delicious even. haven't seen such a good fight scene in a long time #and also😶 im not immune to swann arlaud aldhxajjchcjss #if you know any good films with him let me know bc i need to see more of this man #to sum up: some good fucking cinema highly recommend watching it #but also if you think it's a typical crime/mystery film it's not imo #i also just love how they've done it bc it's 2.5 hours long but i haven't felt it at all #so yeah. here's my anatomy of a fall reaction noone asked for lol #agnes talking

it was some b-movie screening at my local theatre! ✨

they host events like that every other month and i adore the atmosphere there!! everyone is blatantly cracking their sodas open the second opening credits roll, the audience is bursting with laughter one dialogue line at the time and the last time i was there a cute girl offered me a package of wasabi-coated peanuts (she's just discovered she hates them). we established common ground over that

i think this particular one was birdemic 2? which might paint you the picture better than i did!

#thanks for asking! i'd love to take you to one of those screenings <3 #they're just so so nice and like warm in ur chest #and the movies you see there are like no others #i just love bad movies so much y'all have no idea #i'm a regular at premiers and such too but they never give me the kick those terrible oldies do #they're often buzzing with actual real love for movie making #the cast is like 13 high school friends and their set is their own neighbourhood #even the cars have their plates blurred bc they're actual casemates' cars #and you can really really see that the crew had the best time making the movie #and like this is what cinema is all about to me you know #they love for making movies seeing movies laughing at movies with people while drinking cheep cider #and that my friend is felt so well during those screanings #sorry i'm rambling so much i just have a lot of feelings about them aghh #love you! <3

Okay, I got back from Everything Everywhere All At Once, I have some thoughts:

1. I demand more movies about figuring things out as an adult please. I am only in my mid 20s and I've already reached my lifetime "children have to save the world" movie quota, and I can only imagine it gets worse from this point forward.

I need to know that I can continue to change, that there will still be opportunities as I get older. Michelle Yeoh can, and should, play every upcoming role designed for whichever is the current <20 year old heartthrob.

2. Holy Shit this was a difficult movie for someone who has a rough relationship with their mother, especially when they fought yesterday...I know she would hate this movie, and that she wouldn't want to understand it either.

3. How do I find a person who is just happy doing laundry and taxes with me 😭💔 asking for a friend because I'm lonely
