I (Transmasc, 25) work on a school, very open as being gay, pride pins and it all, not as a teacher but I take care of computers, textbooks and the library. The younger folk seem to like me, but it's in high school folks things get ugly. Most just don't care about me, which I can't judge, being a teen sucks. Some hate me for telling them to go back to class. The ones that like me (mostly queer/autistic folk) like me for real.

There's this one boy (he's either 16 or 17 so he's NOT a kid) that always makes fun of me, is always skipping classes, is mean to everyone, implied a old teacher she should be better off dead, bothers everyone, talk loudly and complains about everything on his sight.

And he is. Very bigoted. I saw him more than once hurting the girls he studies with (slapping/punching) and caling the whores and more, telling them to suck him off, ride his dick, gag on his cock, etc, saying very hurtful things on gay men/anyone he deemed gay, and principal can only call his parents so many times before the parents stop showing and taking the concerns seriously. This is an ongoing issue since 6th grade, as far as I know. He hates my guts since I've called the principal on him more than once for going off on me telling me to fuck myself for asking him to go back to class.

My main strategy with him is ignoring him and the second one is answering as I don't understand him. Perks of being autistic I guess, being able to do this with a straight face. So: he calls me a chicken, I tell him they're my favorite farm animal, how did he guess? They're so amazing and cute. He tells me the lunch is gross, I say they can buy their lunch to bring if they want to, school food isn't that good (not true, the school food is amazing. Most students eat more than one plate). The computers are too slow, I ask him to please be patient cause they're old men that don't like to work, be nice to them :(. Guy says that the classes sucks, I tell him that the complaint box is at (governor's address) but yea they suck but at least he has only one year left.

This is where I might be the asshole, because I hurt myself going up and down a chair to organize some textbooks and I already have severe hip/knee pain so this only made me hurt worse so I am already pretty grumpy. A teacher asks for a banner of a periodic table and I have to find the table and go up a chair to hang it, and in the process, I let out a moan of pain becaude my knees dream of my downfall, and the teacher asks me if I am okay, so I tell yea, my hips and knees just hurt like a bitch. And this one student tells me "why, are you beaten up from taking cock in your ass?" And I breath deeply and answer "If it was from fucking I would be damn happy, but it's only from working. Anyways teacher here you go (with the periodic table)" and the teacher looks me with a surprised expression and all the class is silent and uncomfortable so I just left. Now the student can't look in my eyes but at least they're not talking to me anymore and the teacher hasn't said anything. AITA?

📯 When doing your introduction, anyone with feelings could see how his voice seemed to be laced in more happiness when mentioning you attacking the two Slavic deities, Belobog and Chernabog

📯 After the battle was over, he had helped escort you and your fairly injured body to Brunhilde, Göll, and Kojiro Sasaki to carry you to heal

📯 He needed to check on you once the day’s battles were over, he can’t let his new favorite human go without his presence for long, now can he?

Hellooo! This one goes for a family request. I'd honestly like to see how would be the daily life of an autistic preteen!reader with their massive, adoptive family. Mostly how they would interact with the reader and adapt the house/environment to their needs and little quirks, such as learning about sensory overloads, stimming, helping the reader with social cues and deal with their emotions, helping them to actually vocalize their thoughts… Then later on having to listen to them rambling at random times about specific topics that reader is madly interested in (if it's not a bother, I think that reader info-dumping about beetles would be oddly cute for them)

Maybe they came to meet preteen!reader after learning that they had been rejected a few times already due to their behavior. (A bit of past experience and self-projection here, heh), the social worker would tell them about reader's disorder, which would explain their lack of eye contact, fidgeting and also lack of verbal interaction. Some members of the family would grasp the situation right away and take the reader in.

I’m gonna use my personal obsession at the moment for this piece- Pokemon! I hope you like it!

-You have gone through several families, ones that just didn’t know how to deal with you, getting annoyed too quickly with you, trying to force you into situations that caused you to get overstimulated very quickly, and just treat you like you were… different.

-You knew you were different, you were aware that you acted differently compared to others, but you were very smart- getting good grades at school, and there were lots of things that you knew a lot about and you could talk for hours, if only they would let you.

-However, just because you were different doesn’t meant that you were less deserving of a happy home, one that was filled with patience, kindness, and love.

-This is what your social worker told your new family, that you were on the spectrum, but instead of focusing on the bad, like your past families had done, she only focused on the good, like how smart you were, that you loved to run around and play outside, and what a bright ray of sunshine you were.

-They were furious to learn how you had been treated in the past, those past families who treated you so cruelly, not accepting you for you- but that’s what made them different, they were all a melting pot of different personalities and quirks as well, you would fit right in with them.

-You had never had a family so large before- there were so many people, but unlike before, they were all so patient with you- letting you come to them, not at all bothered that you fidgeted a lot, or had a hard time making eye contact with them- to them, it was just some of your quirks.

-You got to know your family, on your terms, Loki was a prankster but he always made sure to tell you all about them, so you didn’t get scared or get worked up, and he didn’t pull pranks on you unless if you had spoken to him beforehand about the pranks you found funny that wouldn’t bother you.

-Poseidon, while not the most sociable person, at least to others, allowed you to just sit and ramble on and on about Pokemon, sitting beside him, showing him your team or the Pokemon you caught in your game, showing him your trading card collection, and telling him about all the lore and knowledge you knew about Pokemon. He would just sit there, occasionally taking a drink, but not interrupting you, something you adored, as you never got to talk to others like this before, before your new family.

-Loki loved it when you talked about Pokemon, he encouraged you, wanting you to talk more, and you did- as you were comfortable, even more so when he got a switch and got a Pokemon game, so he could play with you!

-Hades was the most patient with you, as he wanted you to talk, wanting you to verbalize your desires and questions, never making you feel foolish and many were soon following in his footsteps, being so patient with you.

-You had never had a family like this before- it was wonderful! You had never been so happy!

-Even when you get so happy that you unintentionally overstimulate yourself, they never made you feel like a burden, just letting you sit beside them, playing your Pokemon game, and just letting you calm down on your own terms.

-You flourished under their love and care, showing that what your social worker said was true, that you were a ray of sunshine, and that you were extremely smart- bringing home a report card with straight As, something they praised you for.

-When your social worker came for a visit, just to see how you were doing, she smiled, seeing you so happy, running around, playing with Loki and Buddha with your water guns- she knew that you would be healthy, safe, and happy with this family and she was elated to approve their request to formally adopt you- submitting the paperwork herself.

-You deserved everything you had- a home, a family, and so much love.

Official references with colors/age/extra info for Finch in the Window!

This is more or less a master post to keep everything organized!

These are just the rough refs but lined and properly colored, along with one for Splinter that shows him in his suit ( I'll add a ref of him in his naval uniform later ).

Anyway this is gonna be the master post for this au since the comic is coming out soon!

The ROTTMNT rural au is set in 1930s-40s Japan and is essentially just an au about the boys living in the Japanese countryside and dealing with the effects of pre-war ( and then later postwar) Japan. I'm making it in the same vein as Grave of the Fireflies, This Corner of The World and The Wind Rises in that it mostly deals with the effect of the war on citizens and how it upended their lives in the smaller ways ( rationing, losing loved ones, etc )

I'm putting a lot of research into this au, but of course if there as anything that needs to be changed or is wrong please let me know.

Time to ramble about some design choices!

Starting with Splinter: he's totally human in this au, but has much of the same personality as Rise Splinter, save for the movie star thing. He's a lot more contemplative, I think. His first outfit is a simple suit - Japan in the 1920s and 30s was starting to introduce more westernized fashion, at least for the men. Many women still wore kimonos, even in the cities. Since Splinter is a decently high ranked officer as well as moving from the city to the countryside, he would definitely have a suit. I also think that color wise, he has a more subtle blue-grey palette than everyone else. Because I just thought it looked nice. Later on in the au, as he settles into country life, he typically wears a yukata around the house. He also has another outfit, which is essentially just an old naval uniform that er wears to work in the garden. He's 30 at the beginning of the au, in 1932, but since that's when we see him the most I haven't added his later looks just yet.

Raph: so Raph is kind of the main character in this au. He's the eldest and originally he's the only one who really knows what's going on. In my original design he was a bit shorter, but realistically he's probably a lot bigger than all his brothers. Design choices! So, when they were kids Raph typically didn't wear a shirt at all, though sometimes when they went to the village he would wear a yukata and some simple monpe pants. He prefers just wearing an undershirt and the monpe pants, since he's ripped a lot of yukatas with his spikes. He also tends to roll his pants up because he doesn't like when they touch his ankles.

Donnie: so Donnie is the older twin to me always. He's a little taller than Leo, too, but it's barely noticeable. He has super thick glasses that Splinter had to really work to find when he was young , thankfully the prescription was good enough. Nowadays there's a yokai doctor in the village that can help with that stuff. He gets cold easily and tends to bundle up with a more traditional yukata, except he ties the sleeves up to keep them out of the way. He also typically wears monpe pants to do the housework. He does most of the household chores along with Mikey. They're really close due to spending so much time together. He also sucks at sewing.

Leo: Leo is hard of hearing, but usually only has trouble when someone speaks too quietly or there is too much stimuli, like the rain or thunder or things like that. He also has a tendency to wander around their farm at night and frequently falls asleep on the roof. He wears a combination of undershirt + monpe pants and a regular yukata. Typically its the undershirt and pants combo, even when he goes to the village. He also gets cold easily and has a bad immune system, but he still helps Raph with most of the outside labor. Mostly cause he's reckless. He has a long-standing friendship/rivalry with Usagi Yuichi, who I have left out of this post for now since we won't really see him in the comic til later. Leo is great at sewing and has made most of their clothes/patched them up.

Mikey: baby of the group, and spoilt rotten by EVERYONE. Mikey wears mostly a yukata with monpe pants that he rolls waaaaaaay up. Leo keeps telling him to just wear shorts, but Mikey is stubborn asf. He does a lot of the cooking, since Donnie taught him. He is also the closest with their father, if only because he used to spend the most time with him. Yoshi gave him his hat for safekeeping and Mikey has barely taken it off since. His favorite food is watermelon! Mikey is very interested in humans and likes to sneak away to the nearby human village. He also likes to go into the yokai village with Leo when he can.

So that's just me rambling about design choices, clothing things, stuff like that. If anyone has questions I'd be so willing to answer! Keep an eye out for announcements about the comic within the next week or so!

(I only did this for the city ocs because I have another thing I'm writing currently for the kingdom ocs)

She freezes when the words exit your mouth, trying her best not to react. You just want a reaction from her right? More love or attention? Maybe you want her to take you on a nice date? A gift? Yes it has to be something like that because there is no way you would say that and mean it.

"Babe, can you please not be so mean to me? I promise you that I will give you anything as long as you ask for it. You already know this..." She pauses, someone must have put this idea in your head. There's no way her soulmate could come up with such a cruel ploy for attention. Someone else told you it would be a good idea to say that and you being her sweet naive mate just believed them.

"Babe, come here real quick." She pulls out a pen and paper. "I just want to write down the info on the person who put you up to this."

Her claws were digging deep into your arms as she dragged you into her apartment, flinging you down. You land on the floor of the apartment entrance with a thud as she glares down at you. A stark contrast to the calm expression she normally took with you. Even on the longest of work days when you rejected all her advances, she managed to keep calm. Mostly because this was the first time you were so fed up with her advances that you outright denied her.

"Y/N, I have done my best to treat you right." She takes a step forward as you try to scramble back. "I've showered you in affection, treated you as a proper mate, treated you like you were the sweetest little thing, and yet you consistently show me that you don't seem to want to be treated that way."

She crouches in front of you with a scowl. "Don't worry, if you're a good little mate then I'll give you the nice treatment again, just apologize and never fucking say anything like that again. If I even sense you're thinking something like that, the punishment will be harsh."

She felt like everything was crumbling around her. She couldn't let her world feel that way. What had she done that had caused you to think that way? H-had you discovered she was a murderer? Was her first impression really really bad? What could she repair?

"Ah, uhm I see." She held her arm awkwardly backing out of your space, trying not to start crying in front of you, that wouldn't solve anything. "Well, I'll just see myself out then."

She had to go see the boss. There had to be some kind of favor she could take out that would get her in your good graces. Maybe something like a temporary love potion just so you'll give her a chance and when the potion runs out, you'll realize how nice the past weeks were and be willing to be with her permanently. Anything to give her a small chance.

"Love, w-why would you say something like that?" She's beginning to hyperventilate. This is the cruelest joke you have made so far and even she can't tolerate that level of pranking. Please just shut the fuck up.

"Noo no no no no. Nuh uh, you know you didn't mean it and uhm you're just being a bit uhm dramatic cause you're mad at me. Hahaha, you got me really good. See I'm laughing, your joke was funny, a bit mean but funny." She instantly is by your side, scooping you up in her arms and not allowing you even an inch of space.

"Shh, no need to explain yourself. I know you didn't mean it so I forgive you. You know I will always forgive you."

She completely ignored you when you said it. You just wanted a response from her, clearly. She knew you obviously were just too stupid to realize you'd said one thing too far so she'd give you a moment to cool off and then she expected an apology.

An hour goes by in her office with neither of you saying a word. You, fearing the consequences of what you just said to her, and her, expecting you to pipe up with an apology any moment now. That moment nevers comes though so eventually she looks up from her paperwork with a heavy sigh.

"My beloved, don't you have something you need to say to me? I'm waiting." Your apology is quiet and rushed and she smiles at you, offering you quiet praise for your apology, hoping you both will forget this incident.

I've been wanting to make this audio for so long. While I've left it ambiguous enough to be enjoyed as an original audio, this character is actually from my favourite musical 'Elisabeth das Musical'. It's a German-language dark queer historical romance where Death (Der Tod) is drawn to those who think about him, in particular it follows the life of Elisabeth, Empress of Austria, and her son Rudolf. The musical does deal with serious mental health topics and some historical events from that time including the rise of fascism so please know that going in, but if you think you can handle such topics then I couldn't recommend the musical enough.

The original 1992 Vienna production is on Youtube with English subtitles, that is my favourite production and means a lot to me as Uwe Kroger as Death is just... perfection to me, very much gender envy and has been a big influence on me and helped me with accepting myself and my gender expression, and his characterisation of Death as this genderfluid, pansexual otherworldly being is just beautiful. And if you enjoy then I'd also recommend the 2005 Vienna production which is also on Youtube with English subtitles mostly for the few extra added song and Serkan Kaya's performance as Lucheni.

For those of you in my Patreon Discord server, I streamed this musical last Sunday in there for you guys and it finally felt like the perfect time to bring this audio to life. And if Kronprinz is still around, I know you were requesting a Der Tod audio for a long time and I hope you're happy with this one. The listener in this audio series takes the place of Rudolf, but you don't need to know anything about the musical to understand these audios. I chose to present them more like my original royalty series audios as Elisabeth das Musical is not very well known outside of mainland Europe and Japan, so I hoped by framing it this way with a photograph of myself cosplaying Death from a couple years ago would entice more people who aren't familiar with the musical.

I love this musical so much, European musicals in general are my biggest interest and if you go searching for them it wont be long until you find my sfw account @emptymasks posting too much about them. Adding on to the info dump that you have kindly graced me with, my first though when I heard that Abyss can make drugs out of their venom when diluted and then after reading what relations they would have, or lack of, was that is angel just so happens to stumble upon them making a batch to sell off. Angel could be like peeking into their room (oh yeah this is when they become a member of the hotel officially) and so when Abyss decided that they had enough to sell and goes on break, leaving their room unguarded, I think angel would be the curious soul that he is would check out what bro was cooking.

If Angel found out that it was a drug they made form their venom by just a small test, personally—and you are free to correct me if you want—I believe that Angel would basically try to ask for drugs off of Abyss for free since it’s a nice thing and that’s what the hotel is aiming for and if that doesn’t work he’ll try to pester them (which wouldn’t last long I bet) and if he still gets ‘no’ for an answer, he would try to steal them which made abyss start hiding their batches, getting a lock on their room door or just making the batches outside the hotel and an instant delivery. That’s my personal take tho and I thought it would make for something funny but could be used for some slight bonding or something? However way you wanna go with this.

Secondly, Alistor just picking up Abyss from seemingly out of nowhere was just funny and the image I saw in my head was like him pinching the “scruff” of Abyss as they freeze up, cuz y’know, bro was just picked up no warning. Oh yeah forgot to mention that I can see this happening in both normal sizes as well as their shrunken state which would probably be the most obvious choice hehe. Okay onto what I was not here for cuz I just thought of this right before I was inches away from sending! >:p.

You said that you would be unsure of what could lead to any Vore scenarios because he is chill with Abyss and such, unless he was PISSED. (Based off memory so could be wrong but Anygay-) now I’m not one who knows what abyss is like, like the back of my hand, but form what I do know and a half awake brain the only scenario I see working is that maybe Abyss could be in an annoyed mood from like one buyer that asked for drugs didn’t exactly have any plan to pay in the first place and made it seem like they would pose a threat to their life which they had no intentions to but it was a way to avoid paying and getting a lot of free drugs. This would couse their panic mode to activate slightly and they would shrink (causing rumours to go around about abyss and harming their business since demons can now use that to their advantage) so when they return maybe a little shrunken and in a little pissy mood they could retaliate if Alistor was to like do his usual thing of spooking them or something of the sort which wasn’t too much appreciated and thus the final straw was snapped and maybe an insult or two slipped out, voice slightly raised. Abyss heads back to their room and flopping down onto their bed to just cool off and not even 5 minutes later Alistor comes back to be a bother but something seems a lil off with him (bc bro took that one personally).

Leaving the rest to you (mostly cuz my lesson is gonna start rn. Woo, college ) Anygay hope this helps you at least, go wild with it.

Alright, everyone, buckle up for another long response!

I was thinking more like Abyss sold their pure venom to drug makers and dealers rather than making the drug themself, but I'll give them a small drug setup themself for extra cash

As for your Angel Dust idea, the most logical trail in my mind was to have him trying to find a drug stash since he's left them scattered all over the hotel, hoping that the furniture he used to hide his own drugs were still there. Of course, they're not, but he comes across their dilution station (WIP page below)

Abyss honestly wouldn't care if Angel Dust wanted to try some of the drug and would probably offer him a batch for free. They're not super in it for the money and just do it as a way to pass time and stuff. They could probably use their network of buyers to figure out information on people if they ever felt interested in trying to start gathering their own territory. But, given that they were kind of depressed in life, you can imagine the amount of motivation they have, lmao

They're definitely getting a new lock for their room though

Also, the Alastor scruffing them and presenting Abyss to everyone was the idea. But, in my head, he uses his shadow abilities/tentacles to snatch them from wherever they are and just materialize them in front of everyone else. I also have the headcanon that he can nullify other demons abilities somewhat, so they wouldn't be presented shrunk. This also mitigates them trying to calm themself and regrow inside of Alastor, soooo, you know. I feel like he’d occasionally scruff Abyss like he does Nifty

And, your big paragraph is the paragraph that brought up an animatic idea of the potential drug deal. I’m gonna be honest, I’ve thought way too much about everything, haha

Abyss has almost definitely been killed a couple times since falling into Hell. I imagine the majority of demons have been killed at least once since falling, and since we hear Velvette literally say that she “can’t wait for that unlucky bitch to put herself together”, I’m thinking they either regenerate/stitch back together or re-fall depending on how pulverized the body ends up being. As such, they’re not unused to threats. They’re small and have been considered an easy target since first showing up

In the animatic, if I get to it, will be a stand off between a bunch of shark demons (I just like their designs in the show) and Abyss. In it, the sharks are more than happy to try and kill them to get the goods, but it’s basically just a show of how agile/quick Abyss can be on their feet while also using their shrinking to their advantage with part of a banger song in the background. Sort of, like, the stress apathy takes over, you know? They would definitely need to spend a few days in the hotel to destress though, I imagine you never QUITE get used to being killed over and over again

Also, I can’t imagine rumors really holding much stock on their rep? They don’t really have one and try to remain low-key anyways to try not to appear like a threat, and they don’t tell anyone they sell to where they get the ‘pure stuff’ to avoid the potential of other demons attempting to capture them just to use them as a literal cash cow for their venom concentrate. If people want to think of them as weak and an easy pushover because they can shrink, they’re fine with that because that usually means they get left alone unless someone feels like kicking the demon equivalent of a puppy. I also feel like they’re likely to be overlooked a lot despite being bioluminescent

And, I still don’t even know what kind of comment Abyss would realistically make to piss Alastor off (I know he hates being told about or thought of as having less control than he exudes, but Abyss would definitely not really see him as not having a full deck, so to speak), but that won’t stop me from drawing them together. Maybe they asked a bit too much about him because he’s a contradictory fuck who loves people wondering about his deal, but refuses to talk about it to drum up the mystery. Abyss would definitely feed his ego a bit with curious questions

hello!!! you have no idea how hard it is (for me at least haha) to find a blog that talks about ai even semi consistently let alone analyze her this closely so i enjoy ur blog very much! thank you for feeding my ai brainrot :D

anyways any thoughts on ai and hikaru’s relationship? or just speculation since theres not much on it rn? its pretty fascinating to me, they were both children who were abused and exploited as a whole (that and their own respective fucked up relationship and idea of sexual intimacy which might be one of the catalysts for them jumping to sex so quickly despite both (i think?) being aware of the consequences with them being relatively active in the entertainment industry and what not) so its not too hard to imagine them potentially bonding even if it never quite reached genuine love romantic or otherwise

HAPPY TO PROVIDE, ANON! <3 I fully admit that my ramblings are mostly for my own benefit because if I don't talk about Hoshino Ai at least twice a day I will turn into the Oshi no Joker but it's always so nice to hear folks are glad to be along for the ride.

Hikaru and Ai's relationship has always been really fascinating to me, though! It's kind of an interesting subversion on some of our and Aqua's ingrained assumptions about the kind of person the twins' father would be – there's this sort of implicit, unspoken understanding based on the way Aqua focuses primarily on men who were already adults when Ai got pregnant that Ai was victimized in some way which resulted in the twins. Finding out who Hikaru is and the fact that he and Ai were peers immediately casts all of Ai's decisions regarding him in a hugely different light and raises a lot of questions about things that we otherwise assumed went without saying.

That said, given that we know so little about both their relationship and Hikari himself as a person, it's kind of hard to make solid guesses! I sort of have a rough shape of what I imagine it was like in my head just based on Hikaru's emotional function in the story VS what we know about him specifically as a person – Hikaru is very clearly intended to be a sort of bad end/dark mirror of Aqua, so I like to think that his and Ai's relationship probably contained echoes of the two main Aqua romances we see play out in the present. I had like a huge and honestly kind of incomprehensible ramble here originally while I tried to define what I meant by that but then I realized the series itself already lays it out...

In Hikaru, Ai found someone she thought would finally understand and accept her.

In Ai, Hikaru saw light.

Ai is tied to stars and light constantly through the series while also being tied to Kana pretty strongly as well, so I think it makes sense for her to be the Kana/light equivalent in this relationship. Uh, of course, I think I have accidentally implied that this means Akane is paralleling Hikari, so let's move on................................

It's also interesting to take into account 45510 when trying to pick up some info about how this relationship went. The stream at the center of this story is dated just after Ai came back from her hiatus following the birth of the twins, so around when she was 16/17 years old -- closer to the latter and so likely two or three years after her relationship with Hikaru fell apart. With that in mind, Ai's words here feel kind of... I guess, accidentally revealing? In some interesting ways.

When asked to describe her ideal type for a lover, Ai says: ""I guess I'd like to be with someone who doesn't lose their cool with me when I mess things up, ‘cause that happens a lot! Someone who gets all worked up over every little thing would probably get tired of me pretty quick. It’d be unfair for them, so I'd rather be with someone who's not like that.""

And unprompted, she continues from there with this: ""Love is all about trust, isn't it? They call it... 'recipricity', I think? Like, if someone showed me they love me, I'd feel the same way about them. But, I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat. It's tough for me to really believe in words like 'love' and 'like.' I've never actually fallen in love with someone before, so I'm not even sure what it means, you know?""

This is FASCINATING knowing this is Ai on the other side of her relationship with Hikaru. We know that this is Ai's true feelings because even the 45510 narrator, who calls her a liar every time she so much as breathes, admits that she knows Ai is probably telling the truth here. If this is the case, then this basically confirms that however intense the HikaAi relationship was, she didn't feel as though she loved him, which matches with the snippets we've gotten from the DVD and the movie where Ai's parting/break up with Hikaru was centered on Ai admitting that she couldn't love him.

Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that their bond wasn't genuine or that they didn't have real feelings for each other – I totally agree with your take that they probably gravitated towards each other as victims of abuse generally and CSA specifically and found a sort of comfort and solidarity in recognizing and licking each others' wounds. But obviously, things didn't work out and I think we have a lot of clues already what this fundamental misunderstanding was.

When Ai tells Hikaru "I can't love you" this is an apology, an admission of weakness and self-blame. What Ai is saying is I can't love you, because I'm broken and I can't love anyone.

What Hikaru likely hears is I can't love you because you're broken and nobody could.

That sense of rejection, combined with the trauma he already carried from his abuse would have been bad enough but that Ai got pregnant and broke up with him was likely hugely retraumatizing for him, ripping open the scars of his abuse at Airi Himekawa's hands. He may have even misconstrued Ai's actions as an act of abuse similar to Airi's and everything went spiralling from there.

I don't have any really solid shots to call, unfortunately! So much about Hikaru is up in the air right now, but I think he's a super interesting character and his and Ai's relationship is something I really, really want to eventually see more of.

Happy new year guys! I'm back with my first bit of writing of 2024 and it's an update to Ghosts that We Knew! I hope you all enjoy!

Part 11- The File and the Call

The heart in your chest was pounding up a storm when you got to the bakery and cafe again. You didn’t want to go to the apartment, not for this. Ellie was still in school, and Ghost had no reason to suspect something was up. You hadn’t told him anything about your virtual meeting with Soap, despite wanting to. For now though, you needed to figure this out on your own. But the question plagued you: If Ghost was your donor, why in the world didn’t he tell you?

You wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he didn’t know. It was plausible, as being dead could seriously screw with one’s memory you imagined. But then again he remembered that he died two years ago not that long ago. He had tried to take your mind off of it actually.

It had worked.

You hadn’t thought of it in a little over a month now. So perhaps he did know.

There was only one way to find out, you knew as you unlocked the door to your business and went inside, only to lock the door behind you. You made yourself a nice cup of tea, the way YOU liked to make it. Ghost wasn’t there to stop you from heating the water in the microwave for it. While you waited, you took a file out of your computer bag, short but with important information. You didn’t have access to your donor’s entire medical history, as that was technically illegal, but with no next of kin, access to the files was significantly easier. Apparently he had signed release forms for his info. However it was only to be given to his donors. He had tried to look out for them in a sense.

Your memory of that night was still rather fuzzy, even with time passing and all the therapy you had gone through. It was believed your brain blocked it for your own mental protection. It made sense. Your mind was trying to protect itself. A part of you wondered if maybe you were ready to know this. You already felt like your heart wasn’t your own. In reading this, it would only affirm those feelings and ingrain them further into your mind. You knew that knowledge was like a lichen growing on a rock, and what was known couldn’t be unknown…

The microwave sounded, pulling you from your thoughts with a startle. You took a deep breath and left the file to finish making your tea. You needed to be calm for this. You needed to be able to take in this information, and do it as calmly as you could. When you finished making your tea, you finally sat down to look at the information. You took a deep breath as you opened the file.

And there was the name: Simon Riley.

Right off the bat you felt the color drain from your face. The file held his basic information, mostly from his last physical, as well as his last psychiatric analysis. He was apparently a very good liar, as he was deemed mostly sound, though the suicide attempt that caused his discharge was noted. He had everyone fooled that he was fine. But the mind had a tendency of catching up with everything else. Maybe that was what happened. He just couldn’t take it all anymore. You went back to reading, very much like what you were reading was an interesting novel. You found that he was in the military, the SAS specifically. That surprised you quite a bit.

“Holy shit…he was special forces. No fucking way” You kept reading, though some information was still classified and therefore redacted and blacked out.

Understandable. You were sure the government or perhaps his superiors had their reasons for keeping a good chunk of his information away from the public, even to his donors. But the revelation that he was in fact special forces had you reeling. If you didn’t feel unworthy of the organ beating in your chest before, you sure as hell didn’t feel worthy of it now. You then read the report about his death.

No surprise, suicide.

According to the report, Simon had attempted to hang himself in his apartment, specifically in the hallway closet-

“Holy shit…that explains why he has an affinity for that closet…Fuck…”

-But the attempt was botched, and all he had succeeded in doing was suffocating himself into a coma. He was found by a neighbor and brought to the royal infirmary in an attempt to save his life. When it was confirmed he was an organ donor, the hospital had to keep him alive as long as possible, as was UK policy, until someone needed his organs. He was there for a year before his first match came.

You.

You were the first to get an organ from him, and the most vital one at that.

Slowly things were coming back. In short flashes, you remembered being rushed to the hospital, how your mom and sister were there with Ellie. There was a lot of rush, and a lot of panic. That was to be expected of course. Among the chaos, the yelling, the noise, and the panic, you swore you could hear someone telling you not to worry.

“You’ll make it love…don’t listen to them…”

You thought it was a doctor or something, or maybe it was in your head. Maybe that was what death sounded like? But then you thought…what if he was haunting you from the get go? What if that was him you heard? You phone buzzed, pulling you from your thoughts. Looking down, you saw it was Soap.

You sighed, quick to answer. “Hey…what's up?”

“I just told the guys about yer situation. We’re all willin’ ta meet if ya wanna talk”.

“Actually I really could use someone to talk to right now” You admitted, feeling a bit nervous about this whole thing.

“Whats wrong? What happened?”

“Mister MacTavish-”

“Please, call me Johnny, or Soap. Either one’s good with me”.

“Sorry. Johnny…I um…I just got my donor’s file and you called it. Ghost is my donor”.

“Damn, good call I guess. Listen, Y/N, don’t think for one second he’d be pissed about this. He knew this was what was gonna happen. We just didn’t expect all this, to ever meet one o’ the matches. If anything, he’d be-”.

“Then why didn’t he tell me? I think he knows…I just haven’t been able to think about it” you didn’t mean to cut him off but this was so damn meta, “I already felt like this thing wasn’t mine, and never truly would be. This just reaffirms it”.

“Maybe he doesn’t know. We’d have ta talk to ‘im ta find out. When you wanna meet? Travel’s a bit crazy right now with holidays and whatnot”.

“Whenever you guys have time. I can give you the address to my cafe and bakery, as I think it’d be better to meet here first. If we wanna talk away from him, this is probably the best place to do it”.

“He doesn’t follow you?”

“He can’t, so he says. He doesn’t have the energy to. It takes a lot out of him to manifest, and even more so travel I’d imagine. Johnny…I just feel like I’m going crazy. I had this familiar feeling about him when he first appeared to my daughter and that feeling hasn’t diminished. And now that I know why, it feels too obvious. I have his heart, I’m living in his apartment” you paused, gathering your thoughts a bit, “What if I’m meant to do the same thing he did?”.

“Don’t you dare say that! I won’t hear it!”.

“I…I’m not saying that I’m going to, but I’m worried about it. I just don’t want history to repeat itself”.

“It won’t. I won’t let that happen. Not me. Not Price. Not Gaz. None of us. Whatever ya need, we’re here for ya. I promise. I failed Simon the first time, I’ll be damned before I fail you”.

His conviction was a surprise for you. You had just met him a few days prior and he was already talking to you like a loyal friend. Like you had always known each other. You understood for him this was about redemption, but you honestly appreciated it all the same. At least it seemed he wanted to help, and that was more than enough of a comfort for you.

“We can meet sometime after new years. Or hell we can do it sooner if we wanna do the meeting like this”.

“It’ll be far more personal if we met for real. Plus I wanna make sure you and the kiddo are okay. Ghost has a soft spot for kids, always did, but I know hauntin’ can be a serious deal for kids, even if the spirits don’t harm ‘em”.

“Were you haunted?” You asked out of genuine curiosity.

“I have a very complex relationship with the spiritual world. I wanna say I was haunted years ago, but if ye’re tryin’ ta ask if I believe in ghosts, yes. Simply put. Hang tight, we’ll see you after new years. Don’t tell him about this. And hey, Y/N?”.

“Yeah?”

“Don’t be angry at him. If you wanna be angry at anyone, it should be us. It should be me. I helped drive him to that point. Unintentional as it was, it still happened that way. And trust me, ye’re gonna have a lot more to be angry at me about when we meet up”.

“What do you mean?”

“I’ll tell ya once me and the guys get there. I’ll need an address so we’ll all know where ta go”.

“I’ll text it to you”.

“Thanks. Be safe, try to stay sane, and don’t lose it on him. If you wanna confront him, do it gently. He deserves that. He saved yer life ya know”.

You let out a soft sigh. “I’ll try. Thank you, Johnny. Be safe and have a great new year”.

“Same ta you”.

Johnny hung up, leaving you with your emotions and thoughts, of which there were plenty of. The problem was how to process them. You’d have to talk to Ghost about this, there wasn’t any other way around. You didn’t want to do it angry, but you couldn’t help but feel the least bit betrayed.

Tempest 2099 info dump rewrite

Been thinking about Tempest's backstory a bit more...

and so far I'm sticking with the idea that she was a test subject for Alchemax but taking stuff from Kasey and giving her a criminal record with her being part of the resistance trying to take down Alchemax. She ended up getting caught cause someone sold her out and instead of putting her jail that ran gene splicing experiments on her, they experimented with Wasp DNA and they thought they killed her cause her body wasn't moving or responding and they just tossed her body where no one would look and just paid off people to ignore it but she lived her body was still in the process of changing...

Tempest came back to work at Alchemax as a janitor under a new name mostly just there to spy on them and find the people who experimented on her then left her for dead so she can kill them, working as a janitor is perfect cause no one really notices her.

Her relationship with Miguel as "Tempest" is that he was probably the only one there that was some what nice to her and even acknowledge her as an actually person, but aside from small talk that's just it for now.

As Spiderman and The Wasp is a different story, mostly because she keeps trying to recruit him her cause, she thinks Spiderman is the perfect thing they need to be stronger and actually make a difference, but he keeps refusing at first which annoys her which leads to her what not liking him and thinks he's just fraud so when people start to praise him she be the first to talk shit lowkey. Tempest lives in downtown old New York and his is their protector I like the thought of them being from two different worlds while Miguel probably lives up in the Nueva York he doesn't see how those people live while Tempest lives in the slums and knows how hard it is and it is she's very out spoken about how broken the system is and how disguising Alchemax is as a mega corporation explicating the working class and using the poorest people as test subjects cause they have no choice

I think she finds out that Miguel is Spiderman cause he gets badly hurt and she takes him to a medic to get him some help she ends up seeing his face

misfortune is this silly raven thing . it is the Embodiment of misfortune and misery and feeds off of it, which means it is often causing harm to others for its own benefit

Its like . Ten feet tall or something HVXKDBD it can shrink and grow as it pleases actually (so long as it has enough power). Since it wants to feed off of and make someone miserable, it tries to choose its victims to be the most vulnerable people it can find. people who are isolated and dont have much support mostly, but also people who already have a lot of trauma and people dont know how to manage their emotions very well

Cappuccino was a perfect canidate !

i should give some more info about misfortune before i get into that though ,,, using its host/victims body, its able to cause things to happen (stack of papers getting scattered, bookcases falling over, lighting striking dangerously close, people around them getting hurt/even dying, generally unfortunate events). it tries to make things basically just The worst it possibly can be for the person it inhabits so it can achieve Maximum Misery (which is a tasty snack for it ! ). it can also do fun and silly things like cause its victims to grow bird parts - wings, talons, feathers, a beak, combinations of these things, etc - in a very Painful and grotesque way !! which also causes them to feel miserable! though it doesnt want to kill the host so it always makes these things temporary. additionally it can possess people and control their every move, causing feathers to grow from their skin the longer theyre posessed Which they will have to pluck later. also painful.

also Misfortune does not want its victims to die. if its victims die then that means their suffering is over - it would have to find a new host. So it makes the person suffer as most as possible while also protecting them and keeping them alive

that also includes keeping them from trying to kill themselves

using its previous host/victims body (my oc golden leaf cookie at the moment but that may change), it killed cappuccinos parents. For what reason im uh. not sure yet i still need to figure that out HDBFKH but it was Incredibly gruesome and uh. unfortunately little cappuccino was there to watch !

cappuccino's parents were Not nice people. they were incredibly abusive and neglective. cappuccino is like ,, age 5-10 at this time (another thing to figure out) and while her older sister latte was there she Got scared and ran away leaving cappuccino to fend for himself (latte is still fillwd with so much guilt over that bUT THATS A ramble for another time)

cappuccino is an Already traumatized young kid who just watched her parents die and is now all alone and an orphan . and is now going to watch as this giant bird thing claws through its host, causing them to scream out in pain and bleed out to death on the floor as the bird talks to little cappu !!! in spanish because for some reason me and my gf decided it speaks spanish but hey it works out cause so does cappu!

misfortune then crawls inside cappuccinos mouth. which again. is very painful. And very disturbing especially as a child

cappuccino lives with this thing for like twenty years, vaguely aware of its existence yet still filled with doubt. He knows she has bad luck either way and tends to isolate herself as to not harm others !!! all of the friends he made in school had bad things happen to them so hes become paranoid about getting too close to people. hes basically just accepted that shes not capable of doing good ,,, anything he tries to do just ends up going bad anyways. Which is why hes become a prosecutor !!!! you see Misfortune naturally gives her an advantage since giving innocent people (or anyone for that matter) lengthy sentences and other punishments causes a lot of misery and feeds Misfortune quite nicely ! it doesnt exactly Garuntee cappus win like. she still has to work for it. but he does get an upper hand (unknowingly) as misfortune encourages it. the reason she smokes a lot is because it helps him not feel so anxious and paranoid constantly that bad things will happen to everyone she cares about

theres a lot of habits hes picked up after dealing with this thing for so long. no cars/buses since hes been in FAR too many car crashes. keep pencils/writing tools dull as he tends to accidentally stab herself a lot. dont bother keeping places clean and tidy since theyll become dirty somehow anyways

cappuccino has a vague memory of misfortune. though since it was so long ago and also During a very traumatizing moment his mind has kind of distorted it to be some incomprehensible monster that appears in her nightmares. is it real? is he just imagining all of this? when wings grow from his back, is she hallucinating it? is something causing all of this bad luck, or is he just imagining everything? he cant tell if its real or not . she KNOWS something is wrong because it seems like life itself is determined to keep her from being happy. the thing is misfortune constantly lives inside of her ,, hes never seen misfortune aside from that very fuzzy (and distorted) memory from when he was a child. finally he Cant Take it anymore and just talks out loud to himself, trying to talk to whatever it is keeping him from being happy - again, not knowing if anything is actually there.

But there is !

And she is horrified as it starts to crawl out of his mouth!

theres a sense of relief and reassurance as At least now he knows its not all just his imagination but also. holy fucking shit. its not her imagination.

its all real. the memory from when she was a kid. hes being haunted by this Fucking Thing (which she realizes is a bird and not an incomprehensible monster) and its effectively ruining her life. it speaks to her - he figures out that it feeds off of his misery and that its been doing that for the past 20 years. And she just has to live with that

I could go on ,,, theres more to it actually but this post is getting Very long and i want people to Actually read it HXBDKHD

As expected, she has friends everywhere. She is from the US, so you could mention any state and she'd prolly know someone living there.

She was always the teacher's favourite, not because she's particularly studious or anything, but 'cause she's just so nice. Like, she'll raise her hand in class when no one is answering just 'cause she feels bad; she'll talk to and befriend the new students so they feel welcomed, etc etc.

She and a few friends jam together a few times a month, but she would like to join a real band in the future.

She is allergic to both cats and dogs, but that has never stopped her from wanting one. (aw)

Harley has dyslexia.

Will she write songs about MC? It's not an if, but a when. ;)

She sings and plays guitar, bass and a little bit of piano (enough to use MIDI keyboards). She's written several songs she's produced 100% by herself, Tyler the Creator style.

Harley has a little brother who's 10 and he's her best friend and favourite person in the whole world.

She volunteers every week at a women's shelter.

She mostly uses her powers for music experimenting purposes, such as 'infusing' her music so that the listeners feel calmer, for example.

Martin always jokes that 'Harley' sounds a lot like 'härlig' (lovely/delightful/nice in swedish) which he thinks fits her so much. (agreed)

OKAY. SO. leaving out a lot of details because their story takes place entirely in a huge crossover roleplay and it'd be fucking wild if halfway through i was just like "so anyways, dimentio-" so we will not do that <3 no info about these guys is on my blogs. they're only on discord sorry.

ANYWAYS.

so. riley and kiara are sisters, with riley being th younger sister, at 12 (kiara is 16). kiara's dad actually found riley alone in the woods one day, and, with seemingly nobody else looking for her, took her in. neither he nor kiara knows about her biological parents but judging from how riley acted and how scared she seemed when he found her he hopes they never come back for her (they will! well. her bio mom will. her bio dad isn't relevant)

riley was basically very jumpy and anxious for the longest time because of how her mom treated her but eventually she came out of her shell and now shse's so sillygirl /pos she's very close with kiara and also close with kiara's friends it's really nice. kiara is really quiet mostly but undeniably Very Cool and she's also a streamer (sometimes she streams playing games with her friends or with riley too!)

however! a lot of stuff happens to riley, like an obscene amount. she got possessed, once. she got kidnapped into a fucking void dimension for a while. and she even got mind controlled. and kiara couldn't take seeing her sister hurt so often and even though she can't do much she has to try to get her sister back, so she ends up joining this vaguely shady organization who promises to help get riley back.

and! it works. sort of. they manage to catch the guy who mind controlled riley, with some outside help, and kiara questions him for a way to reverse the mind control. but he say he can't just reverse it like that. BUT. he offers her something. if they let him go, he'll give them something that they could use to try and reverse engineer a way to get riley back.

but if kiara lets him go, then he could go on to cause more mayhem. mind control more people. possibly even destroy the world.

but like. small price to pay for your sister being okay. so kiara, after some hesitation, lets him go. and, for the time being, they've even gotten away with it. sure, someone else got mind controlled, but not riley. never riley again. and nobody suspects that they let him go, at least not to her knowledge.

but she still feels a little bit bad about it. i mean, who wouldn't? sure, she can tell herself it will work out and that they had no choice, but she knows it's not true. and the truth is, riley wouldn't have really wanted that. but riley, despite having more confidence in herself now, is insanely self-sacrificial, and would have said it's better for everyone if she was simply gone forever if that meant everyone else would be safe.

other fun bonus things include:

riley is a realm-hopper. she doesn't know it yet. realm hoppers can basically teleport and travel between dimensions. kiara is vaguely aware of this but hasn't told riley about it yet

This is like……my second time actually making an ask blog (only ogs know) cause my first one was literal chaos but anyways!!

Welcome to The Balance & The Interference ask blog!

This blog is run by @woahtriangle

Here are the basic rules for the blog before you can start asking these two idiots some questions

1. I beg of you not to rush me, I am only one person managing this blog and my motivation tends to go in and out with these types of things.

2. This blog will contain swearing, violence of any kind, gore, etc. that falls into that sort of category. If you are uncomfortable with these types of things, I suggest you look away.

3. Please for the love of god, don’t ask anything related to NSFW, I am a minor. If you post anything sexual and what not, I WILL block you. Not only is it weird to do that, I am highly uncomfortable when it come to those things, especially if you’re an adult.

4. Any ask that feature hate-speech of any kind (homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc.) will also get blocked by me.

Now that that’s over with, here are some info about these three!

Parasite

Parasite, also known as Egui Yuangui, is one of Mazoku’s first victim. They are known as a mind parasite, which means they are forever stuck in Mazoku’s mind until it has done it’s job. Other than that, it tends to be really snappy at times, not really fond of others who tend to talk about murder and whatnot. It does have a soft spot so if they get used to you, they might show a side nobody has seen before!

Mazoku Shi

The god of Balance, the god of Life and Death, the Destructor of The Lands, and many more names he gets called.. Mazoku has been known for causing massacres in the lands because he seeks vengeance— of course, he has been punished by higher ranked gods because of this but that didn’t stop him. He’s extremely vengeful, thinking his death (he used to be a mortal shape) was unfair, that’s why he’s the way he is. Aside from that, he’s the type of person you would think is nice but in reality, he will backstab you whenever he gets the chance to. A weird part that most shapes don’t get is that he’s extremely protective of his family, protecting them from harm and such.

Hetep Liebe

The goddess of peace, mostly known as the one to spread peace across the land, and protecting the lands. She’s been a lot more serious with her work because of an incident she and Mazoku created; the pink corruption. Her blood is extremely potent and rich, a massive dose of it could cause a mind of a mortal to go insane and cause havoc, that’s what happened with Blixer when he jumped into the pink pond.
