FAQ / Rules
How was the bracket made?
This bracket was made based off centreoftheselights's data on the most-written pairings of all time, and edited to fit into a workable bracket. Matchups were seeded according to number of works.
This is a platonic/familial relationship, not a ship! Why is it on a ship bracket?
The top relationships on AO3 include both platonic and romantic/sexual relationships; so does this bracket. If the relationship is formatted as "[Character X] & [Character Y]" it is not a romantic pairing. If it is formatted as "[Character X]/[Character Y]" it is. (For efficiency, when a pairing showed up as both & and / in the data, only the higher-ranked version was chosen.)
What are your stances on voter fraud/bribery/etc.?
Fight for your blorbos however your honor dictates (though we ask that you don't DDOS Tumblr, and preferably do not commit any murders which can be traced back to us).
I have an issue with [x] being included in this poll.

Autistic Anime Boys Tournament Bracket
Heeey guys! It’s finally time for our next tournament! Get ready to pit all your favorite autistic anime* boys against one another~ 😈😈😈 The same rules as the autistic anime girls poll apply here, but I will reiterate them below.
*Note: I understand that the term ‘anime’ does not, semantically, apply to every character that I will allow into the poll—I am simply using the term in a general manner, because it is quick to say and widely recognized. Characters from print media (i.e. manga, manhwa, manhua), ‘anime-style’ webcomics and games/visual novels, and from non-Japanese East Asian animation like donghua and hanguk aeni are welcome as well.
No western media, unless the characters are deliberately designed in an 'anime-style’ (ex: in the past, I have allowed characters from things like DDLC). It can't be a temporary or one-off gag style-change either. It must be the series' regular artstyle. Judging this will be my subjective opinion, but I am going to be excluding animation that stylistically toes the line (sorry AtLA and VLD fans).
Don't submit Shigeo Kageyama from Mob Psycho 100. His autism swag is too powerful and iconic, so I've decided he will be the mascot of this tourney. The winner of the poll will be rewarded with a special exhibition match against Mob. 👍👍
The characters do not need to be canonically autistic. Headcanons are perfectly fine.
You can submit as many characters as you like, but do not submit the same character multiple times.
Submit characters through the designated Google form. Any sent through asks/messages/any other means will be ignored and you’ll be kindly redirected to the form. Just keeps things more organized this way.
Don't be a dick if your fav loses. Please. Let's all be civil here and have a good time. Doing tumblr polls is entirely for fun!
Definitely send propaganda for the contestants! I love hearing people infodump about their favs.
This time around, I will not make submitting propaganda a requirement on the form, but it does significantly increase your character’s chances of getting into the bracket.
I will attempt to be more selective for this poll, to avoid an enormous bracket like last time (I just have a tendency to get attached to submissions and can’t help but let in as many as I can 😅), but I won’t officially decide on the number of competitors until after submissions close.

Where YOU submit fictional characters who can't pull no matter how hard they try! Characters with negative rizz! Characters who can't flirt to save their fucking LIFE!
Requirements:
They have to be fictional. If it's a real person well that's just mean :(
They have to be from an official piece of media. No fanmade characters unless they were later incorporated into the source material.
They had to have seriously tried to pull, whether it be for romantic/sexual intentions or for their own gain. If a character has gone the entirety of whatever the source media is without trying to get with someone, they will not be counted.
SUBMISSIONS START THIS FRIDAY THE 23RD! LAST DAY OF SUBMISSIONS IS THE 30TH! THEN WE MAY DISCOVER WHO TRULY HAS THE LEAST RIZZ!

Rules
Dead characters and zombies are allowed
Only two characters from each fandom are allowed
But any amount of characters from a fandom are allowed to be submitted, the two characters going in will be decided by a poll
No teams. If two characters die together and they are both submitted, they fight
Characters will be sent in by an ask with their name, fandom, cause of death, a photo, and any extra information that the submitter would like to include as propaganda
Characters have to have everything up top, if they don't, the tournament can't start and there will be a round up post where hopefully that character gets everything they need to be in the tournament
This is really important
✨Propaganda✨
The amount of propaganda a character has will determine if they get into the tournament.
Here's how it works: If the character follows every character rule, then they will be submitted. If the person who submitted the character has propaganda for them, that counts as one propaganda point. If that account makes anymore propaganda (rebloging and replying on the submission) that doesn't count for a propaganda point. Now nine different accounts reply with propaganda, now that character has ten propaganda points. That character gets into the tournament and on it's first round, each different account that made propaganda has their propaganda on the post, mentioned and accounted for. The account that made two pieces of propaganda? The propaganda gets put together.
If you make propaganda when or after the tournament starts, you still get put in the propaganda list, but don't count as a propaganda point

Submitted characters may have any gender, the Miss thing is gender-neutral.
Characters that are minors won't be accepted.
A character must have multiple submissions to enter the tournament.
El fraude electoral es parte de nuestra cultura, denle con ganas.
When I say nonhispanic characters might be allowed, I mean characters like Goku or Max Steel, which are practically part of our culture.
The character might not be latine in concept, but if their va is latine, or some headcanon or vibes are strong enough, they will be considered latine.
Pls only vote if you are latine. I'm gonna add a third button for people who may want to watch the tournament, but the idea is to find out what character is the most uh... desired, by our beautiful international family.
The form will be open until May 1st, or when 60 characters are added to the brackets.
