I will also say I lost interest in crit role about a third of the way through the second campaign - players I had really liked came up with overly convoluted or obnoxious characters I just had no interest in (molly, fjord, jester 😔), and players I was already annoyed with created some of the worst watching experiences I ever had in crit role, with poorly made metaphors (nott trans allegory, maybe???), thin jokes covering actual bigotry (nott being lesbophobic??), and insufferably tragic backstories (caleb 🔪🔪🔪). the plot was more singular and cohesive from the start but it wasn't one I particularly liked. marisha as bo was literally my favorite thing about that campaign and even her awkward lesbian swag wasn't enough to save it 😭 so maybe I just like campaign 1 of crit role and literally no other live action dnd shows. which would be a shame ngl

I watched Campaign 2, Episode 97 for the first time today and holy Wildmother, I knew the broadest of broad strokes of what the two (2) big things that happened in this episode were but absolutely no context or specifics or anything and then I watched it and I have been absolutely feral ever since.
