NEW PART: MMB X HELOS.

He scaled the edge of the dancefloor and took in the fine dancing in front of him, soaking in the sweet strings flowing through the room playing current music reimagined. He wondered whether he might hear a Helos number before the end of the night. As he was nearing the end of his drink, he began the search for another waiter so that he might swipe another, when a particular silhouette caught his eye. Seeing the opportunity so readily presenting itself, he quickly grabbed two glasses of champagne from a passing member of staff and made a b-line for the woman lingering at the dancefloor’s edge. As he moved to stand beside her, he took a moment to study her, realising that, quite accidentally, they were the perfect match.

🍼: Want kids?
I don't like kids, but Jean wants one and what Jean wants is what Jean gets. We have one daughter – Jupiter (Jupe, for short), named so by her Auntie Val. Needless to say, Jean is the better parent. I wouldn't have agreed to have a kid if I wasn't sure he would make a fantastic dad (to make up for my general assfuckery).
🖋: Who writes the other sappy poetry/cheesy love songs?
Jean is the hopeless romantic. I don’t know shit about romance. Jean is also the one who can write coherently and has some actual experience in that area. He writes love songs and love letters, but poetry is not really his forte. Almost all of his letters contain little doodles.
🛡: Who’s the more protective one?
We are pretty evenly matched in that aspect. Jean has temper and takes no shit, especially when the said shit is directed at someone he cares about. I wouldn't be able to count all the paparazzi cameras he smashed when pushed too far. He is also banned from the Netherlands for a reason. And you know me, I live up to my name and choose violence every day. :)) If someone comes after Jean, I will kill! maim! burn!, no questions asked. I always take his side even when he is in the wrong.
💋: Where are your favorite places to kiss your f/o/where are their favorite places to kiss you?
I kiss and bite, so during sexy times his neck is my favorite area. He usually goes either for my neck or inner thighs. And when we're simply trying to be sweet, we're all about forehead and nose kisses. Normal kisses happen, too. Sometimes.

hey!!! I finally got my act together and posted chapter 2 of the helos x mmb fic over on ao3!!!! pls enjoy if u would be so kind!!!
The four of them had scrubbed up well, all donning suits custom made for them by the fashion house Louis Vuitton, and each with individual detailed touches to make the pieces their own. Zeke had opted for an all-black ensemble and low-cut shirt underneath, with his suit jacket bedazzled with hundreds of twinkling black Swarovski crystals so that, in the right light, he’d catch the eye of any guest, even those wearing masks. Onyankopon’s blood-red suit featured gold accents on the buttons and cufflinks, complete with a statement pocket watch chain across his breast, a look cementing his role as Helos’ resident smooth operator. Jean’s suit was (unfortunately for him) a luxe black velvet, a nod to the classic James Bond silhouette, cool and collected, if not a little warm in the end. Reiner was a mix of his bandmates, with his black suit featuring a swirl of deep golden florals and golden cufflinks.

ok!!! I will be periodically publishing the silly little drabbles I write as part of my selfship reimar. as I have the full background fleshed out in my head but not on paper I will offer some initial lore bc otherwise we'll be here for 12,000 years:
p much all of this selfship takes place within the mmb x helos au I've been working on with three gorgeous pals. mar, part of idol band mmb, and reiner as the drummer for rock band helos, alongside zeke, jean, and onyankopon. it's VERY love at first sight. this is the one and only time I will say it: if you don't like soppy idiots in love, this is not gonna be for you!!! reimar are head over heels in love and it's blinding to a fault.
they first get together following the first leg of the mmb x helos tour, when it concludes in chicago with a huge party at their hotel bar. it's a culmination of months of mutual pining and stolen glances and stupid conversations running until 3am about life, love, the past, the future, and everything else in between. from then on they're basically married in their minds.
the little oneshots I'll be posting take place throughout various moments in their relationship. if I remember, I'll preface them all with any relevant detail, but most of the time it's not gonna be important. it's 99% fluff.
anyway!!! I'll yoink the first one up 2day!!! love and kisses!!!!

His absurdly good heart, sassy attitude and sharp sense of humor. His empathy and willingness to forgive others is something I really wish I had. His general bluntness and short temper can be annoying when directed against me, but overall I adore them. And when it comes to Jean’s sense of humor, we just laugh at the same stupid things.
🎤: Describe your f/o’s voice:
I’m taking the Japanese voice into consideration here. Relaxed, confident Jean speaks in a soft and silky voice that could be used by any snob. However, the moment his emotions get the better of him, it becomes sharp and more akin to a growl, making him sound almost feral. Which I absolutely adore. That boy can sing!
💫: Are either of you ticklish? If so, where?
Jean is very sensitive and ticklish all over. His sides and feet are his weakest points. I, on the other hand, don’t have any weaknesses. And even if I do, that’s a secret I intend to take to my grave. :))
🌟: Who’s the tease in the relationship?
Me. Muwahaha. I have him all figured out. I know which buttons to push to make him pay attention to me. Jean gets flustered easily, but tries to do his best to keep up with me. Sometimes he just needs a drink for courage and inspiration.

Our first official date was at an arcade where Jean lost to me on purpose in a game of mini-golf. Since then we go to arcades quite regularly, but Jean doesn’t lose on purpose anymore. Every game is a war in its own right. We enjoy watching horror movies together because Jean gets spooked easily and likes to cuddle, and I just like horror movies. We travel whenever we can — Iceland is my favorite place for holidays and Jean’s is Italy.
💔: Is it hard being away from each other?
Yes. Surprisingly, more for me than for him. I just don’t get attached easily, and when it actually happens, it hits me hard. Regardless of this fact, it’s still Jean who texts and calls the most when we are apart. I want to maintain my Ice Queen image, and he knows that, so he tries to act before I’m actually forced to admit to, ugh, having feelings.
✅: Are u two competitive when it comes to playing games together for example, as in trying to out best each other in everything?
I’ve already mentioned the games, but we compete in everything, breathing included. At the beginning, we had had absolutely no chill and used our rivalry to prove our superiority to one another. It got a little better once we acknowledged our feelings for each other. Now we compete a lot, on daily basis and in every area, but it’s not dead serious. We don’t get so offended when we lose. We are fun rivals. :))

I say this through gritted teeth but writing for zeke is just so much fun. it has changed massively bc as u know I was very close to getting "I don't fuck with the jaegers" tattooed on my forehead but ykw? u make plans and god laughs. now I love writing for zeke
79. Do you have any writing advice you want to share?
even when you're not feeling it just write. I am a very genuine believer of everyone having at least one story in them, and so if you feel like you want to write something but don't necessarily have the confidence as a writer or storyteller, write it anyway. beyond the fact that you might actually find yourself writing something enjoyable to read, you will have the time of your life doing it. writing for yourself is so therapeutic and also just a great way to refine your skills
