Something something MLP Infection AU something something…

🧪🧪🧪

So I made a contribution to the MLP infection AU that’s been trending lately.

I don’t know why I’ve taken such an interest to this AU cause I’ve never liked zombies or zombie apocalypse stories, but make it about ponies and suddenly it’s cool.

I made up a mini backstory for how she came to be like this since there seem to be about a million different infection AUs out there and I’m not that caught up on G4 fanfiction to get it accurate.

Inspired by the MLP Infection AUs and the Rainbow Factory creepypasta.

Luna contracted this horrible disease only about 5 days ago. She wasn’t the first one to be infected by this monstrous illness, but she is rapidly deteriorating.

The disease doesn’t have a name yet, but its origins had been traced back to a dark and mysterious factory hidden away in the clouds of Cloudstale. Countless rotten corpses from hundreds of ponies who had gone missing over the past decade were all over the multiple floors in the factory.

Luna was attacked by an unknown infected pegasus as she was flying towards her home with the news for Celestia about the Rainbow Factory.

The last words Luna said before the infection took over her mind were “THIS IS YOUR FAULT, YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT IT!”

To her sister, Princess Celestia.

There is no cure.

If you've been on the clock app you've probably come across the infection AU, and this is my slight take on it! Quick backstory is that Celestia realized she was infected with something, and locked herself beneath the castle, telling not a soul. Luna has had to take charge in her absence and has been worried as more news of an outbreak starts to reach her ears... I don't have much more than that tbh, just some soft designs and ideas for the mane 6 of course.

What caused this thought was a dream that Wade and Mateo were infected and were in the stage where the roots stop them from moving so they hugged and awaited death in each other's arms so they would die together

(also, does anyone have any info on Cloud Rot? That one was genuinely disturbing it was awesome like holy shit!)
