the browser on my old phone is so outdated that not only will it not let me log into a different account but I'm several updates behind on tumblr 🤣 either way I suppose this is a good way to say that this account is, for the time being at least, abandoned. I've fallen back to my old blog, @littletaxfraud

Content will not be added to this account anymore. I'm not deactivating to preserve my name (since this is also a common name I use asside from LTF) but also because if I do choose to come back to this account, I'll delete everything here and use this strictly for reblogs not related to my usual content on LTF in order to keep my blog a little more organized

Side note, please reblog art you like! DO NOT REPOST just reblog! Likes don't do shit on tumblr, and an artist will quickly be buried and forgotten if their work isn't shared around

Join Ellie and I in writing one star reviews on the Tumblr app about AI stealing photos and making it easier for pedos and zoos to get endless nasty content. Make it personal. Directly address the reader using "you" and "your".

How to ACTUALLY opt-out!

Sooo. I learned today that opting out of the third-party sharing on tumblr does nothing. Yup. You click that button, but it's up to the AI companies that tumblr affiliates itself with to say "yay" or "nay" to that. And thennn... they can just do whatever they want with your data and anything you post.

2 ways to opt-out:

Always use Nightshade before you post ANY of your art/work.

Delete your account. No. Seriously. I have a few friends who are creative industry professionals who have had to delete their 10+ year old tumblr accounts that they have used as portfolio showcases just recently.

Once I have some things in order, I will be deleting my tumblr account by next week.

I am literally at that point where if I see ONE MORE piece of AI “art” I’m going to ram my head into the nearest wall.

AI “art” is NOT art. It NEVER will be. It isn’t even visually pleasing. It’s bland, it’s disgusting, it’s grotesque, it’s obnoxiously plastic, and it’s a slap in the face to every REAL artist out there who spends hours and hours genuinely creating and laboring. Oh and did I mention that it looks like something that makes me want to vomit??

Even little children’s scribbles will always look better than AI “art”.

people wonder why artists are leaving the site in droves and abandoning their accounts meanwhile most FANDOM art barely gets 5 likes in two days. barely gets 2 reblogs in the span of half a year.

and im not even gonna TOUCH on what it's like for oc art (which gets no interaction. at all. ever. oops I just touched on it.)

why the fuck would people keep feeding ai companies when absolutely no one is supporting them? when absolutely no one cares about their art? when no one even spares it a second glance? why would tey go through the trouble of glazing and nightshading everything when it gets NO INTERACTION AT ALL. When it's going to rot in the tags buried under hundreds of other ignored pieces of art. when ai generated photos get dozens of reblogs and likes in the first hour.

alright guys. I've had it. Fight back. Nightshade everything you post, post nonsensical bullshit and post the most shitty eye bleeding doodles you can. If you use AI, you're not an artist. You never will be. You're a thief who thinks typing bullshit into a computer is hard work. Now we have this bullshit to make you feel like your shitty scribbles are really gonna do something big. Now you'll think you put in all the hard work that goes into real art. Hell. No.

Fight back. Everyone. Staying silent will not help.

If you feel so inclined please, submit poisoned art or shitty doodles to me on Skrungbly's blog, and I'll share it, anything. We need to dogpile as much as well can.

And for the record. If I can't start making a living out of art I'll have to either go on disability or work multiple labor jobs my body isn't able to handle. Tons of artists will. A lot of us are disabled in some way. We need you to help us too or we'll be stuck.
