Can’t wait for that moment in season 5 where Adrinette are hanging out together and suddenly someone says to them “Oh, you’re such a cute couple”, only for Marinette to immediately shoot them down with “We’re just friends” and for Adrien to suddenly feel a pit forming in his stomach and a sensation that is oddly reminiscent of despair growing in his chest. Emotions that Adrien can’t explain why he feels or why his “I’m great” to Marinette’s question of “Are you okay?” sounds so despondent to his ears. For Adrien not to understand what brought about these sentiments, or why they showed up after Marinette referred to him with that position of friendship that he had worked so hard to obtain and held so dear to his heart now that it was his possession. And for when after he comes home and talks to Plagg about this strange occurance (and listens to Plagg’s cheeky “you’re on your own kid''), and lies awake that night, this puzzle making any chance of sleep evade him.  For Adrien Agreste, the very good friend of Marinette Dupain Cheng, to realize that he is in fact no longer satisfied with said title and yearns with all his heart and might that he might someday be worthy of becoming something more than that to her.

Ok, I don’t think Adrien has actually quite realised what it is he is feeling for Marinette.. he’s getting there, but not fully there just yet…

A little while back I got tagged in an ask game about sharing your WIPS (ty btw, I like being tagged even if I almost never end up doing them!) and I was gonna do it but then I was like "but what if I just work on my WIPS instead?" But there's one WIP I was thinking about so much and it's Felix centered and s5's eps both helped me a ton by giving me a lot of info but ALSO completely derailed me because I'm really not sure about how evil this kid is and it makes me really unsure of how to portray him!

With his end goal being "save my own skin and be done" I felt like I could do something with that. Now, I don't feel like I know enough about what he's up to.

The project idea btw is like a "what may have happened behind the scenes" comic? fic? re: Felix's actions from the point just before he learned about being a senti till the end of season 4 or so.

Hopefully the rest of s5 will give me enough info for me to get a better sense of who he is and what he's up to. Until then, it's kind of sitting on the back burner.
