Your MK men as parents headcanons are very interesting. Would you write other MK men as parents? Especially I want to read Rain and Havik!
MK Men as Parents pt2
Masterlist || Part One
Characters: Rain, Havik, Quan Chi, Kenshi
Note: Combined a couple of requests into one. Also, sorry this one took forever to come out!
Rain
Probably one of the more normal parents.
He’s a lot more chill compared to himself in other timelines. I can see him being a proud parent to one or two children. Maybe twins?
Teaches his kids to be a better mage than he is. He tries to make his lessons as fun as he possibly can.
Though, he can become frustrated if they aren't taking their teachings seriously. If something were to happen, they need to learn how to defend themselves.
In some MK1 intros you can tell Mileena (understandably) has a lot of distaste for Rain. So much that she wants his mother banished.
I can imagine his children are involved in this banishment which irritates him. His family, especially his innocent children, do not deserve to be punished for his actions.
The main driving force behind Rain’s mission to atone for his actions is his children. He wants to show that if you make a mistake, you should try to make things right. He also wants to be a man his children can be proud of.
Havik
A pretty hands off parent.
I can’t imagine him ever having a complete grasp on this parenting thing.
Just has one kid and refuses to have more.
His kid just kind of does whatever and Havik doesn’t care. Just as long as they don’t make a mess he has to clean up.
Has the “world’s your oyster” mentality.
This behavior is boosted to 100% after his burns. He embraces the chaos, and what’s more chaotic than having a kid?
Havik and his kid are public menaces, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
He’s less of a parent and more of a cool older friend.
Don’t come to him for emotional support or other things like that. Having to actually parent his kid makes him feel tied down.
If his kid wants too much from him he’ll somewhat drift away.
You’ll have to hope their other parent is in the picture.
Quan Chi
Totally the parent who somehow knows their kid’s every move.
He knows when their kid has done something they shouldn’t so there’s never any use in lying to him. He just has this look on his face and his kid knows they’re in trouble.
Excuse my only child self for HCing every character as being a single parent but Quan Chi definitely only has enough energy for one kid.
He feels guilty for bringing a child into the world when he can barely take care of himself. Spending hours and hours in the mines, Quan Chi is exhausted by the time he sees his kid.
All his child knows is a dad who always looks tired and dejected.
That is, until he gets an opportunity to live a better life. A place to sleep, clothes that aren’t tattered, and fresh food - all necessities that his child now gets to experience.
Whenever his child asks how he was able to provide their new life, he just smiles and gives a cryptic answer.
Kenshi
His child was kept hidden. Kenshi thought it best to keep his child away from the whole Earthrealm-Outworld war.
None of his allies knew he was a father til the day they were all thrown in jail with Baraka. Thinking it was his last day on earth, he let the secret spill. Kenshi told everyone all about his child.
He mourned the fact he’d probably never see his child again. Of course, he did; after he helped defeat Titan Shang Tsung.
Kenshi was very nervous to meet his child again. What if they don’t react well to his blindness? Johnny pulls him out of his negative thinking. If your kid is as kind as they say you are, then why would they have a bad reaction?
It eases him a bit, but he’s still a little nervous. He feels like a fool for having those thoughts when his child runs to him, screaming his name. The last few weeks of fighting for Earthrealm was all worth it for them.
His child is a bit confused when they see the mask over his eyes.
“You can’t see me!” They say with a frown.
Sento glows, and Kenshi suddenly sees all the details of his child’s face. He smiles, assuring them.
“Yes I can.”

Erron Black, Shang Tsung, Baraka, Kano, Quan Chi, Shao Kahn edition! (Part 1)
This time, we’ll be featuring…
Shinnok, Dark Raiden, Noob / Bi Han (he wasn’t very good), Scorpion, Reptile!

Shinnok: My child, where had you gone?
Child: My brothers and I have a plan to defeat you.
Shinnok: Then, I suppose they will have to go through with it without you.

Raiden: You fall from the light, sister.
Child: We are the children of Shinnok- you are just as horrible as I.
Raiden: You’re speaking just like him.

You: You promised our child the Netherrealm, then go missing.
Shinnok: A couple of inconveniences got in the way.
You: That human actor? Are you the same husband as before?

Child: I’ll kill Quan Chi myself if you can’t.
Shinnok: He is much stronger than yourself. Just wait until I win it over for you.
Child: *Pout* why! I can defeat you, so why let do it?

You: You need to talk to your son.
Kronika: Why so?
You: He fails to give [child] the gift of the Netherrealm.

Shinnok: Have you met your [sister/brother]?
Raiden: She is no sister of mine.
Shinnok: You may ignore the truth, but you know your place.

Shinnok: My fate is not to die at the end of a worthless human's blade.
Child: A demi-god. And Cage proves humans aren't so wortthless.

Child: Brother! He escaped!
Raiden: Do you think yourself powerful enough to defeat him?
Child: Perhaps... If you can prove it.

Johnny Cage: Your daddy ever tell you about me?
Child: I tell him about you, actually, Ninja Mime.
Johnny Cage: Then be ready to tell him about this, got it?

Raiden: How does a human betray her realm?
You: If my child can have a father, that's how.
Raiden: A kind sentiment, with horrible reasoning.

Fujin: I had no idea we had a sister.
Raiden: If the reader has a thing for Shang Tsung and would like to see our sister...
Fujin: The author has a story for that? Can I check it out here?

Fujin: I won't call you mother.
You: I don't expect you to. You're a grown ma- God.
Fujin: Just making sure you're fine with that.

Revenant Lui Kang: I can never kill Raiden, but I make him live his life in misery.
You: He is finished with your whines, champion.

Revenant Lui Kang: You took away my life, Raiden. Now I took away yours.
Raiden: And I will finish with this life of yours!

Raiden: You dare cross me?
Child: You killed them, father. You are not deserving of the name, "Protector."

You: Your father's angry at you.
Child: You two have lost yourself in darkness. I trust you mi longer.
You: You forget: I'm not as merciful as him.

Cassie: so, you're dad's a god? Must be nice.
You: 'Til he becomes a dark God. Then it kinda sucks.
Cassie: Eh, my dad sees you as a daughter anyways. That's a plus.

Raiden: I never could have imagined it end this way.
Child: Father, you misunderstand!
Raiden: You helped a Reventant. You betray your realm!
Noob Saibot / Bi Han (seperate)
Noob: I am not your father.
Child: You may be dead, but you are still my father!
Noob: Bi Han is dead. You are just another orphan.

Child: Saibot is not as fun to play with. He's just a shadow.
Noob: I cannot always be with you, child.
Child: Then why did you ever hsve me?

Kuai Liang: My [niece/nephew]. You have my mother's eyes.
Child: I am not your niece. I was born to Noob, not Bi Han.
Kuai Liang: He is my brother and life, and in death.

You: You left me to raise a child on my lonesome.
Noob: I did what I must to protect [her/him].
You: You'd protect [child] better dead then alive.

Hanzo: It was a mistake. I was blinded by my rage.
Child: I actually came to thank you. I want to learn what you did.
Hanzo: How I killed your father? It went something like this...

Bi Han: I love you.
You: You have yet to prove it. Spend time with [child] if so.
Bi Han: That will have to wait until later, unless you can bring me home yourself.

Frost: I thought your dad said women weren't allowed to be heirs.
Child: No, no. He said bitches aren't allowed to be heirs.
Frost: Your family blood are all assholes.

Kuai Liang: I told you, we cannot waste anymore time.
You: If I can beat you, then I can take down my father!
Kuai Liang: Yes, but you can never bring him back.

Kuai Liang: So you finally settled down.
Bi Han: Correct, brother.
Kuai Liang: Let us see how prepared you are to raise a child, then.

Bi Han: Our daughter does not enjoy watching us fight.
You: You seem to forget; You are the leader, but I am the First Lady.
Bi Han: ...She will have the might of her mother.
Scorpion
Child: I understand. I will never mean enough to you.
Scorpion: I love you the same as my son. Never doubt that.
Child: Then why do you care for them more than me?

Quan Chi: It would be a shame for it to happen again, yes?
Scorpion: [Child] and Y/N are under my permanently protection.
Quan Chi: Protection... only worked so much, didn't it?

Raiden: You look just like your father.
Son: I am more hellbent than him.
Raiden: Then you can never be saved.

You: Who will it be, your dead family or your new one?
Scorpion: My dear wife, I am sorry. But I cannot let go.
You: I see. Then I suppose you won't be needing us anymore.

Johnny: I saw this chick on my way here. Literally, smokin' hot.
Scorpion: *angrly grips chain* It was you who harassed my daughter?
Johnny: *clicks tongue* Yup. Not good on my part.

Child: I wish I could've killed Hemuri and my brother myself.
Scorpion: He is no brother of yours any longer!
Child: Good. Then if I could kill him, it would be far less meaningless.

Scorpion: You took my child away!
You: Why would you care! We're meaningless compared to your dead family!
Scorpion: Bring [him/her] back!

Quan Chi: I thought I killed you a long time ago.
Child: That was my brother. I had come to avenge my father's clan.
Quan Chi: Then suffer the same fate.

Kuai Liang: Scorpion found love once more.
You: *smiles* He did. Although, he cannot look past what you had done.
Kaui Liang: That was neither I or my brother. Send the message.
Reptile/Syzoth
Cassie: So, what's your favorite bug to eat?
Child: Ew, bugs are my father's thing. I prefer the flesh of chickens.
Cassie: Huh. Gotta say, not what I expected.

Erron Black: *Whistles* Ain't you one fine specimen.
Daughter: Half Saurian, half [human/edenian/whatever]. *wink*
Erron Black: That so? Wanna come "put venom in my veins" girlie?

Takeda: Maybe... or furry conventions.

I know this might be a weird request but I saw on one of your old post and it was mentioning a swap AU with kenshi and Johnny, I wanted to do something kinda similar and it be instead swap, be opposite personality (ex johnny instead of being confident and cocky hes timid and insecure) I'm new to MK so im not sure how opposite kenshi would be but I hope you understand, if you have any questions feel free to ask me again!

( There’s little hints of johnshi here but can be read as just platonically)
「 ✦ Kenshi ✦ 」
* So because this is swapped personality but not positions Kenshi i imagine is in a higher rank in the yakuza than normal.
* Because of his cocky attitude he takes more jobs and is more confident about his missions.
* He still doesn’t like doing them but he hides his guilt using his personality.
* I feel 50/50 about the idea of him being a show off for example in MK1 Johnny tends to show off his wealth, fame, movies, everything but i feel like even in this AU if Kenshi did it would make him look insane on one hand he’d do it because of the amount of time he’s spent in this bussines has at least semi desensitised to it but im not sure at the same time cuz i dont feel like it’ll fit his character so idk let me know what you think.
* When Kenshi broke into Johnny’s mansion i want you to imagine the scene where johnshi + Kung lao are walking to Baraka’s village and basically take the dialogue and put it here Kenshi just straight up shit talking Johnny to his face
* After losing to Johnny, Kenshi is absolutely pissed because he’s never failed a mission.
* Johnny and Kenshi’s relationship initially starts off very hostile they bicker argue and insult each other but trough training at the academy they slowly start to put that behind them and it evolves to a sort of rivalry less hating each other and more competitive if that makes sense.
* Kenshi was surprised when Johnny gave him Sento while yes he’s cocky and acts childish Kenshi still feels guilty for all the lives that he has taken while being a part of the yakuza, Kenshi doesn’t feel like he deserves this until Johnny explains his reasonings and slowly starts to put the past behind him and starts hope for a brighter future.

* Because his personality is different in this AU instead of being knows for action movies Johnny is most known for horror and historical films.
* His social media presence is small but he’s still got big fanbase that likes him for his mysterious aura.
* Because of his now more silent personality when Johnny drops movie quotes in conversations it tends to sound more ominous and makes people scared of him.
* Johnny and Cris break up still for the same reason as normal : Johnny’s spending habits and perhaps some looked over alcohol problems.
* Did not understand at all what was going on when Kenshi broke in. Whas this a movie ? A prank ? Or is it real ? Dont look at him because he doesn’t know either.
* Johnny keeps sento to himself not because of it’s monitory gain instead for it’s history and doesn’t give it to Kenshi because he think that he’s untrustworthy.
* Eventually after being in the Wu Shi academy for long enough he starts to slowly open up to the people around him.
* Kenshi tends to rile him up so after a while when he gets annoyed he’ll talk shit back to Kenshi and they’ll be off just bickering (like love birds WHO SAID THAT)
* As for the dreaded Mileena poking Kenshi’s eyes out™ i imagine it goes pretty much the same Johnny realises that Kenshi saved him. Even trough all the bickering and rivalries that they had Kenshi still choose to sacrifice his sight for him.
* After the incident Johnny gives Sento to Kenshi as a token of his appreciation of the man and the sacrifice that he committed.
「 ✦ Random hc, these can be read as platonic or romantic ✦ 」
* Because Kenshi was part of the yakuza since he was young he didn’t have many chances to see any type of movies so when Johnny suggest to watch something Kenshi is on board,he’s really excited and keeps talking and making comments while watching.
* Kenshi’s favourite movies tend to be action and thrillers.
* Yes Johnny did show Kenshi the movies he played in but only because he was forced to after loosing a bet. Kenshi just talked about how hot Johnny was.
* Because Johnny doesn’t flaunt his fame like in MK1 his mansion is diffrent. It’s smaller, has simple designs, the awards that he’s won in his carrier are stored on a shelf in another room, all the items he bought are expensive but in the modern art type of way aka simple shapes, basic colours, some of them are small and don’t take up too much space.
* Johnny and Kenshi have different aesthetics when it comes to clothing Johnny tends to wear more basic and neutral colours while Kenshi if he’s not on some sort of mission wears more vibrant clothing.
* Ok i know this one is basic and practically canon to the fandom but still i gotta do it. Johnny buys Kenshi blindfolds, they tend to differ in colour so Kenshi can match them to the outfit that he’s currently wearing some of them have embroidery on the front(?) to make them fancy.

Kenshi Takahashi fans: am I making sense rn?
Ppl being so obsessed with not being ‘one of those’ mk fans and not ‘infantalizing’ the characters DRIVE. ME. CRAZY. LET PPL MAKE HEADCANONS?? THEYRE NOT REAL.
Just saw a girl be like “‘oh kenshi is insecure about his face now— kenshi is insecure about his tattoo’s’ that’s a grown man stop infantalizing him”
New challenge! Comprehend that kenshi was a good looking man and being insecure about the fact that he doesn’t look like everyone else now, and people will probably stare. (Consider Baraka: in several of his intros and lines he talks about how he is ‘ugly’ now, and people are scared of him. But that doesn’t mean he’s a baby or infantalized. It’s just a normal insecurity to have about looking different suddenly.)
AND☝🏼 when it comes to his tattoo’s: I don’t think that’s a reach at all to say he is insecure about them (nor do I think it makes him shy or infantalized)
Kenshi canonly does not like being associated with the yakuza, and he never wears short sleeves (even at the Wu shi academy, kenshi wears a long sleeve under his uniform to cover his arms) the only thing he doesn’t cover is his hands (which are hard to cover). I think that headcanon is completely sensible!
Moral of the story:
Imagining a male character having emotions and insecurities doesn’t mean they’re infantalizing him. Leave ppl be!!

Summary: someone gets hurt. warning mentions of violence and death.
Baraka wasn't used to being with a human. The closest he ever got was turning them into a meal. He didn't know that humans were weak creatures that needed to be treated gently. They were completely different from his own species, the Tarkatans. Tarkatans were often treated like monsters and feared amongst other races. He hated the way they treated him and acted towards him. He wasn't a vicious monster, just a man trying to live. Unfortunately, he had the taste for blood - all of his species did. It wasn't something that could be helped. He needed to eat to stay alive.
When you walked into his life, you were different from anyone else. You didn't treat him with hostility. You didn't fear him, and in fact, he thought you might have liked him. He was lying to himself. No one could love a hideous monster such as himself. Except for you, you treated him like you treated anyone else. You were understanding of him, and you were there for him when he needed you the most. He began to catch feelings for you and told you. You weren't at all bothered by what he said and agreed to go out with him. Eventually, you became a couple. He loved you, and you followed everywhere he went. He couldn't leave you alone with the Tarkatans. They might eat you.
There weren't very many pretty places in Outworld, and you knew that. Together, you and Baraka walked to the market of Outworld, hoping to trade for something. The Tarkatans were unwelcome in the castle. However, Baraka was welcome to stay if he wished. He didn't. He chose to stay with his people. So you and him, as well as the others, stayed, slept, and lived in a cave.
You stayed beside Baraka, watching as he spoke to the woman, hoping she would trade the blanket she had for sale. Baraka knew you got cold easily in the cave. While it wasn't much, he hoped the blanket would provide you some warmth.
You didn't have time to scream. You didn't hear it coming, and you fell to the ground, clutching your side. Baraka's eyes were on you in an instant. He turned to look at the attacker, and his blades slid from his arms. He wasted no time in killing off the man, slowly. He wanted him to feel the pain that he had caused you. Tears streamed down your face as you held yourself. It wouldn't be much, but at least it was better than something. The man had stabbed you. What he stabbed you with, you weren't sure. However, Baraka was quick to return to your side. He wanted to help you. He wanted you next to his side once again. He didn't want to lose the one person in the world who cared about him. He couldn't take you to the cave. You slowly drifted off into another state. Baraka gently lifted you off the ground and hurried to the castle, begging them to help you. They refused. You weren't royalty or anyone of importance. Baraka massacred them and took you away to a beautiful spot. If they weren't going to help, you were doomed to die. He didn't want you dying around monsters who never cared for you. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he held you close. He stayed with you until your passing, and then, he walked away. Leaving you and the blanket he had received from the trade behind.

Is den in mk-1?? If so what is his relationship with raiden??
against my best wishes, I had to imagine the scenario where Den would be in mk12... but surprisingly no! Den and Raiden Jr are just strangers.
so Den's role in mk12- to start things off: he's the closest to a neutral force the game can offer, he plays by both sides out of mere curiosity.
In story mode, he would be a npc, he's introduced in Baraka's chapter. He's in the laboratory, imprisoned as he watches the events unfold. After Shang releases the poisonous gas and the gang escapes, so does Den, which he later catches up to the gang.
Syzoth, as the jailer, already knew him so he warns the gang about him until he formally introduces himself... rambling about his codename and "earthrealmer name".
Either way, he's more of an enigma to the earthrealmers while keeping his cards close to himself- that is when they meet Ashrah and- lemme tell you- Den is "enamored" of Ashrah's story, how she decided to change her lifestyle into something she believes in. Her chapter finishes, Den gives a little hint in reverse english.
Going to Syzoth's chapter, he's still hanging out with the gang, eating food from the trash (like a raccoon) which later makes the gang realize why Raycoon. They make the plan of taking Quan Chi across the crowd, Den asks why not let Syzoth take him (or why not simply stop believing in gravity)
Something that lowkey kinda bothered me was how much Kenshi was used as a kameo, so maybe have his ass as Syzoth's kameo as he doesn't stick with plans. Lastly, he stays behind as a distraction, leaving Johnny a clue in reverse english before they escape to the academy.
I'd like to think he was in the weird fortress thingy, this time working for the bad guys, except he doesn't directly confront the LK brothers (in fact, he follows them as he senses tension), which later ends in Den spying on Bi-Han betraying Scorpion. There's more likely some sort of tension between Den, Havik and Darrius as Den realizes Havik doesn't truly believe in chaos, more in the oppression of the oppressive system.
If he were to appear in Mileena's chapter, it would be when the good guys and bad guys are plotting against titan Shang Tsung, yet he would only appear to warn them about Liu Kang, opening the wound "he forged your fates, he used to control you like puppets until Shang appeared"
sooooooo yeah, he would appear as a npc and maybe a kameo- he even says out loud "I'm just a npc" (makes Johnny believe he's familiarized with Earthrealm culture meanwhile Den just glances at the player and slowly nods)

Just to let everyone know my mortal kombat characterizations are a mix of the arcade games, mk1995, mk defenders of the realm, and my imagination. Rarely will i maybe pick and choose the rare good things they did in the newer stuff. Just so we're clear:
Raiden and fujin are GODS not demigod as that means one of their parents would had to have been mortal. They are GODS
Liu kang is humble but not infallible, he hates the idea of being a god and tricked himself into thinking he wants to be a chosen one when deep down he just wanted a normal fucking life. He can and will crack under pressure and just bc it takes a lot doesn't mean he'll last forever as a "hero". There are no heroes in Mortal kombat.
Kung lao is prideful in his HONOR of his ANCESTOR and the SECRET WHITE LOTUS SOCIETY. He is not anymore arrogant in his capabilities as a warrior as literally anyone else. He works hard, fights hard, for his friends and earthrealm.
Johnny cage has no fuckin deep lore ancestry to explain his powers he just has chi energy like everyone else he's just rare bc he managed to bring it out so quickly naturally no special bloodline or whatever the fuck percentage this white man has, its all him all his own soul all his own talent.
Sindel LOVES kitana and will never not love her. No matter how much dark magic corrupts her soul and mind, her heart is strong and true and Although it might be twisted she will love her daughter and sacrifice everything for her. Including herself.
Shang tsung is a baddie and he doesn't need big muscles or fancy artifacts to do so. His danger is in his smarts, even if he's not top dog he'll never be out of the game for long nor at the bottom. He will always be persistent and always there in mortal kombat, after all. He is THE tournament master of mortal kombat.
Shao kahn aint no whimp and he isn't a meat head either. He's a cunning tyrant, bold but not so brash he can't be smart enough to know what fights to pick to give him an advantage. Conquered realms with the oldest trick in the book, divide and conquer. Makes his enemies fight his other enemies, plays both sides to gain allies to his power. He's deadly because he is smart AND strong.
Kuai Liang LOVES his brother and never ever in all the lifespan of the universe and several others will he abandon or denounce bi-han. If he has to pluck bi-han's soul out of the layers of void and dark magiks that quan chi put in place then so be it. Kuai knows his brother is in there and if not, he'll find a way to give him peace one way or another.
JAX HAS HAPPINESS AND RESPECTS JACQUI EVEN IF HE SEES HER AS DADDY'S BABY GIRL BC JACQUI IS A GROWN ASS WOMAN
Speaking of jacqui, she is awesome and doing fine as takada's wife and is researching some cool magiks on the side to better help earthrealm (always leaving shang tsung on read since he wants an apprentice)
Sonya is doing her own thing. Ideally she would never had married a man she has 0 chemistry with, but if it has to happen she is divorced and fine with it and never gets back with Johnny. They're still friends tho! Best friends that just don't work as lovers.
Cassie is doing her own thing like Johnny does and has a personality that isnt "nerd dude bro wank bait" and is a warrior who goes through her own journey.
And scorpion is practically retired he's doing fine he's ok he's rebuilt the shirai ryu and everything is prosperous with the ninjas.
Reptile is actually not the last of his species and is getting some damn respect for once. Kotal Kahn is trying to better himself not only as a warrior but a leader bc he realized he has a long way to go actually. Goro is back and vibing. Sheeva is vibing too. Baraka is vibing.
MILEENA AND KITANA WILL HAVE RESPECT EVEN IF THEY'RE STILL RIVALS
Kitana is not some stuck up dipshit haughty princess she actually remembers what being under shao Kahn's oppressive regime, but also starts to realize despite that she had more privilege than others and starts to actually help all of her people and learn that edenia was never a utopia and such a thing doesn't exist, but regardless she will try to actually unite ALL of her people regardless of social status (might even abolish it)

"isnt he supposed to be a villain? why does he look so much like a kicked puppy?" lol my first exposure to syzoth was through a maximillian dood mk1 video reviewing fatalities, i have never touched MK before that. i kinda had just heard his name tossed around in the peripheral and made assumptions about him
My impression now
i think he deserves better than what the storymode of mk1 gave him, he got so little. "heres the reason i look like a kicked puppy" and then we never hear from him again. such a shame. but god i love him
Favorite thing about that character
i love that his life was filled with tragedy but that he became a better person for it rather than a worse person. i would love to see what his life was like pre-shang tsung. thats a million dollar animated mk movie idea if i ever did have one
Least favorite thing
i dont really like that shang tsung was like "i killed your family!" and then syzoth was like "rah!!" and then it was never addressed again. like they were literally walking through a forest that housed the souls of the dead, that would have been the PERFECT place for syzoth to discuss how much his wife and sons deaths hurt him. like imagine this:
johnny: 'do you know anyone here?'
baraka: 'some distant relatives'
syzoth: '...my wife and son...'
LIKE !! he never addressed it again in the story, and literally no one gave him their condolences, not even baraka who i feel would have sympathized!!

pretty much anything that took place or was said in the escaping sun do scene.
Favorite interaction that character has with another
i like when he, while invisible, lifts ashrahs hat. i feel like you could interpret it as him being a little playful maybe. i also like all his intro dialogues with ashrah and with johnny

i spoke about it here in this post how he reminds me of amy sorel from soulcalibur but he also reminds me a bit of chase young from xiaolin showdown, at least from an aesthetic perspective
A headcanon about that character
he sleeps in his zaterran form and as such, blankets dont really do anything for him. he doesnt generate his own bodyheat so a blanket doesnt really keep him warm. however, this changes if he has a warmblood partner. he will at least start out sleeping in his human form and share a blanket with them because he likes the warmth. he may or may not shift back into his zaterran form while sleeping

Liu Kang (MK-Mk11)- No (legally maybe but he's the protag so no)
Sub-Zero- Bi-Han gets treated like the Noob he is, this Saibot tho gets the Angie Treatment and keeps his Ice powers.
Scorpion- Kuai Liang? Bye Liang.
Kitana- Yes probably but I wish he couldn't...
Johnny Cage- No (Legally Yes, unfortunately)
Kenshi- Yeah, unfortunately
Kung Lao- Hats off to Kung Lao. Literally. Vitus knocked his hat off and won.
Mileena- another unfortunate yes. GET TARKAT THOUGH IDIOT!
Raiden (mk1)- He may have gotten Liu-Kang's protag position but right now the answer is yes. Not without lightning burns tho.
Raiden (mk-mk11)- Not Sure actually, unlike God Liu this Raiden isn't the keeper of time so it's a possibility. I am leaning No tho.
Rain- Vitus makes Rain's actions in Seido look like he just made a swimming pool.
Smoke- This Thomas :handshake: Thomas Sr. Getting obliterated by Vitus
Li Mei- Probably? I don't know enough about her.
Baraka- GET TARKAT IDIOT. But unfortunately yes.
Tanya- Same problem as Li-Mei
Gearas- LMAO NO
Reptile- Syzoth deserves better, but unfortunately yes...
Havik- let's see you Out-Heal Oblivion wing, bitch.
Ashrah- Absolution denied. Also Possible Angie treatment.
Sindel- He'd lose his ear drums but probably would take it in the end.
General Shao- Again, Vitus was likely a warrior King, in reality, they'd probably work together, but the answer is yes. Not an easy fight tho, I'd imagine.
Shao Khan- See above but Vitus would likely have more broken bones and it's a possible No actually.
Reiko- We now know who hurt Reiko.
Nitara- *bored voice work* yes.
Shang Tsung- I'm more afraid of the team-up, but yes.
Titan Shang Tsung- Legally no for the same reason as God Liu, but we have to get Marcus somehow so yes (I'll stop with the joke if it gets old, Strike)
Omni-Man- No. Legally, however, it’s a possibility, because Vitus IS Death, it'd just be a matter of who could kill the other faster.
Cronchy (Quan Chi)- HA. HA. The idea of Quan Chi having even the SLIGHTEST chance of beating Vitus is HILARIOUS. Vitus bodies, hands down.
Peacemaker- I know nothing about him other than he is played by John Cena, and as much as that part alone makes me want to say no, Vitus could not win, I'm going to have to say yes because Death. Now this might change depending on what I learn about Peacemaker.
Ermac- Part of me wants to say yes because Ermac is a collective of Souls, another part of me isn't sure because Ermac is already dead. I'm gonna go with Yes though because I'm not sure how skilled at Kombat Ermac actually is.
Homelander- Yes. I do not care HOW strong Homelander is, if I get asked “Could X beat Homelander?” the answer is always yes. Jokes aside, the answer is yes, Vitus could, in fact, Beat Homelander.
Future DLC Characters MAY be added as they are announced and if I feel like it.
