April | Typhoons in Summer

April has unusually been gloomy and cloudy and rainy. Such an atmosphere fit for napping in the afternoons and film-watching in the evenings is worrisome in the middle of a tough semester and, not to mention, in the middle of summer.

it’s been awhile, tumblr world haha but here are some photos (and like a two-second video that i wanted to be gif lol) from 11th and 12th grade

i have honestly forgotten how tumblr works, but here i am, two years later, a freshman in college :’)

somewhere during quarantine, i decided to start up this studyblr again and like treat this as an online journal of my academic endeavors from premed to med school bcos im too shy to do studytube lol

studying (n.) the activity of learning about something by reading, memorizing facts, attending school, etc.

“Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings.” - Salvador Dali: Have ambitions. Have goals. To achieve those goals, you must use your intelligence you have acquired through the years.

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” - Antoine de Saint-Exupery: Self-explanatory; hence, the study tips on the following pages.

“Study smarter, not harder.”: To study effectively, we must understand the concepts, be focused, and make sure what you are studying is actually being retained by your brain for long periods of time.

“Never put off till tomorrow what may be done day after tomorrow just as well.” - Mark Twain: Start now. Once you have understood the concepts in a lesson, how about start revising now. Review those revisions once in awhile to avoid bombarding of information to the brain during exam weeks because your brain won’t retain it up until your examination.

“Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” - Abraham Lincoln: For school projects or essays, we are given ample time by the teachers to complete them. However, given the amount of time, we must use it well. Plan ahead what you ought to do and then begin doing.
