Fabulous Females

Summary:

Being a woman in a man's world isn't easy.

(But who needs easy?)

Rating: Mature Fandom: Naruto Relationship: Tenten & Kurotsuchi & Karui & Kurosuki Buntan & Temari & Karin, plus a host of others! Word Count: approximately 16K (Complete and posts one chapter daily)

This story is for @spookythevoidsinger, @dawen, @dominaaurum, @greencuttingmat, and @kurakura0-0, all of whom chimed in on my discord server as I was writing it and suggested so many of the ideas which made it into this story.

Truly, it takes a village.

Kurotsuchi creeps into the room, silently thanking all the gods that the daimyo of Hatō no Kuni is arrogant enough not to pay for proper guards. If this monstrosity of a castle was being patrolled by shinobi from Amegakure, this would be a lot trickier.

As it is though, he puts far too much faith in his nobles and their soldiers.

She crawls down the walls, careful to avoid placing even the slightest pressure on the nightingale floor - she doesn't want to give herself away now, not after she spent so much effort getting into a country she has no business being in - and stretches her hand out for the pot which rests in the tokonoma.

An unassuming brown and made out of simple clay, she has trouble imagining that this is one of Kumogakure's greatest treasures, a tool handed down from the Sage of Six Paths himself. But everything her people have been able to discovers says that it's the Kohaku no Jōhei, and she smirks as she lays a hand on it.

Only... it doesn't move.

Is it... stuck?

She grabs it with both hands and yanks, only to find herself tugged in the opposite direction.

"Sorry, but this one's mine." The amused voice is low for a woman, but unmistakably feminine. "Don't you see our symbol on it?"

So Raiga is my favorite swordsman, then Kisame, then Kushimaru, and then zabuza and the Hozuki brothers.

I think that for the time before Raiga met Ranmaru when he felt empty inside, he tried everything to fill that void. Killed people in different ways, tried different hobbies, did drugs, drank, and had sex.

I think this is how we got Buntan. While I can’t imagine him r@ping someone, I can imagine him having a one night stand or visiting a brothel. Which would be why he didn’t know about Buntan. I can see him having sex with this lady, and being like “hmm this isn’t working. On to the next thing!”

I get the image of him being really awkward, too, adding to why Bun’s mom hates him. Picture it: Raiga’s in a bar, drunk, moping to another random drunk dude about how he feels like he’s dead inside. Dude says something like “well, get yourself a woman! A good shag will fix you right up!” And raiga’s like “no cap??” And the next day attempts to seduce the first woman he sees. She probably is either thinking he’s so awkward and strange he’s cute or recognizes that he’s got the swords and agrees to sleep with him bc she doesn’t want to get zapped or stabbed. Either way, they get to a room and he’s like “okay, I’m a guy and you’re a girl and we’re naked… now what?” And she rolls her eyes and is like “ugh fine I’ll do it” and then after she falls asleep post frickle frackle he’s lying awake, staring at the ceiling like “well that didn’t work.” And just leaves. I doubt the ninja schools have a good sex Ed program so it’s possible he wasn’t even thinking about a child being a consequence.

(I know someone who was part of the Amish community that when she was 15 a boy convinced her that women couldn’t get pregnant their first time and she got pregnant and was tossed out of the community. So I think it’s a situation where he knew where babies come from but didn’t connect all the dots.)

Anyway, this man found an ailing child and, while having no experience in child care, was like “well shit I can’t NOT take you with me, can I?” And they figured out a dynamic that worked. I was a special Ed teaching assistant. Caring for children (and adults) with mobility disabilities is difficult. You add that Raiga didn’t have any classes like I did on how to care for someone like that, and it’s impressive to me that he successfully managed to not only keep Ranmaru alive, but he was THRIVING and loving life! Being a parent brought Raiga deep fulfillment, so I know DAMN WELL that if he knew Buntan existed at all, let alone that her mother at the very least mentally abused her by telling her she was worthless etc, he would have grabbed her up SO FAST and been like “look, a boy and a girl, I have a matching set!”

And as everyone knows, caring for children is expensive. Raiga figured that out pretty quickly I think. He knew he needed money, a stable place to live, and that usual Anbu level ninja work was extremely dangerous. It’s probably the only work he knew, and bc he was raised to be a murdering machine, he doesn’t think “oh well I could be a cashier at a ramen shop” like a normal person. He saw the opportunity to take over the gold mine and took it. It not only gave him the means to care for Ranmaru properly, he could safely keep him on his back at all times, and do his funerals.

I think if Tsunade would have come to the mine herself, she could’ve been like “okay, if you come the Konoha, work for me and stop the funerals, we’ll let you and Ranmaru stay together in the village.” And everything would have been fine.

TLDR: LIGHTNING MAN MAKE BRAIN GO BRRR

this is gonna be a long response so under the cut it goes!

i can't believe i've never CONCEIVED of sad drunk/druggie raiga. mix a sad boy with hallucinogens, oh noooo

i am very onboard with him not knowing the first thing about sex (him knowing it happens naked HKSNCBVNKJNGKJF that's such a good image)

IMO kiri did have sex ed, like people knew about sex and pregnancy because replacing the population was a BIG DEAL, but even so completely ignorant raiga is important to me. maybe it doesn't make sense but raiga's mind is a mess in so many ways.

imagining raiga trying TO SEDUCE A WOMAN IS SO FUNNY HDKFNGJHN he checks out a book from the library and learns about pickup lines. hey girl, nice eyes, he says. the girl just stares and he stares back because he figures she's got to say something at some point, he did the thing!

his relationship with ranmaru was a trainwreck but he did take care of that boy!!! he cooked food for him, which it didn't seem like people were doing beforehand! (it's amazing ranmaru survived long enough for raiga to pick him up--the villagers who were just like here's some cold potatoes and carrots young lad! ough the iron deficiency) so i love the thought of the mom, instead of keeping her a secret, gave buntan to raiga to raise bc she didn't care to. i feel like he would have been forced to be too responsible to go around holding funerals.

"he could safely keep him on his back at all times" you're making me think about how weird it must have been for people to see him before and after ranmaru--hey buddy? you uh. you got a little something on your back there. do you think you need to go to the doctor?

i couldn't imagine konoha taking in a rouge nin at that point, because the protocol for rogue nin was pretty hard set, but i love the thought of them being around more >W<

and for the record, here's how I think Buntan's conception happened: her mom was a prostitute around Katabami, and Raiga's little clanmates were going to her brothel all the time so he decided to check it out. he only went once and cried afterwards, sex was so unpleasant for both him and the lady. she already hated him for being the leader of all these obnoxious men who keep coming around, but when she got wind of the funerals she was horrified. and then she found out she was pregnant and it was a no-win situation whoever the father was, but then the baby came out with the double-ringed blue eyes and it was such an oh no. she drank, she kept everything about raiga a secret other than that he was worthless because she was afraid if bun knew anything more she would really turn out like him. unfortunately this opened the door for shizuma to bamboozle her with talks about what a hero her dad secretly was and how she's carrying on his legacy. it was a trick! it was bait! run, buntan!!

Another really interesting theory to me is one made i think by forgivememadre, that raiga was in an unhappy arranged marriage in kiri!!! AGHH i conceptualize him as literally having lightning god ancestry, bc i love kiri nin being descended from spirits and other creatures, and kiri wanting to continue that lineage makes sense to me. ough.

Boruto

FYI contains a few minor manga spoilers.

So, I finally caught up with Boruto anime from Funato arc onwards. And let me say one thing;

WHAT DID THEY KILL KAGURA OF ALL PEOPLE FOR!!!

I mean what was even point of this whole thing? I had actually started liking in him and then they go of and kill him? I thought he was going to become Mizukage, what happens to that now?

This arc was by far the one with most deaths. We had,

Taiki - the ship captain that was killed

Kobasoza - the one who killed Taki then killed himself to avoid being interrogated

Kagura - (Why! Oh! WHY!) Stabbed in the chest by Funamushi

Tenma - Avoided his brothers warnings and launched attack on the Mist ships, only to be cut down by Chojuro and fall overboard

Hebachiigo - Killed by Funamushi after trying to restrain him (I really did not think even she would die and to think she was actually starting to make friends and have a free life)

Funamushi - (Okay, I admit, this one i was happy for and hoping it would happen) Rasenganed by Boruto and then stabbed by Buntan

Seiren - Died of injuries in hospital

Isari - Killed by his own father with his own weapon while trying to make peace aggrement

Not to mention the airship that crashed initially that killed many

I can also see a pattern here. First we had an arc with Iwa, where the kill count was also high and now we have Kiri. What next? Kumo or Suna?

And at the end Boruto offered his own life to stop the war (Though i knew he won’t die), for me the whole ending felt a bit hollow. I mean we have seen Naruto use Talk no jutsu, but i felt Boruto didn’t say much or anything at all, i had so many things he could have pointed out for Ikada to consider.

The whole ending felt very anti climatic to me.

And then there is the new Op. While it contains few wholesome shots, it also contains this one:

So, we are getting Code arc soon it seems.

But before that, I just want the Uzumaki’s (and when i say Uzumaki’s it consists of Kawaki without a doubt) to have some bonding time. For the kids to remain kids a while longer, because things are gonna go down real fast & soon.

Manga readers know the pain and suffering (plus some ridiculousness) that is to come. (That reminds me of the last chapter we had, it seems Amado is going to reveal why he is so obsessed with Kawaki to both Eida and Konoha; so does that mean Eida will be an ally?)

Anyway, by far my most favourite episode from the recent ones was (I’m sure its not just mine) Ep 258!!!

We get our Sunshine family just enjoying. This is what the Fourth Great Ninja War was for; to let the upcoming generations live without the fear of a looming war or deaths awaiting (though in Boruto’s case, the death and war still looms over)

Anyway, that aside this episode was so wholesome. We Got Hinata!!! And Hima, she is way too pure for this world.

And we also have a family pic,

I laughed so much during the whole episode, not to mention they were actually haunted by that ghost, LOL!!!

Well, i guess a few more light hearted chapters like this wont hurt before we finally move onto the Manga canon (Though i dont want like 50 fillers before that)

Hope for the best, i guess.

No context provided recap of my reactions watching Manner of Death. Disclaimer: this will probably make no sense if you have never watched this show.

Episode 1: OMG THIS IS A LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT LOVE STORY! I don't know what's happening even with subtitles but I am liking it!

Episode 2: THIS IS MAKING ME SO ANXIOUS OMG BUN YOU ARE IN DANGER! BUN! BUN! OMG OMG I WAS GOING TO STOP WITH THIS EPISODE FOR THE NIGHT BUT I’M GONNA HAVE TO WATCH EPISODE 3 FUCK FUCK FUCK

Episode 3: They are sharing a bed people! They are sharing a bed! 📢 THIS SHOW DID THE ONLY ONE BED TROPE! It is 2am and I am having a breakdown over these two, the sounds I am making are not human Tan x Bun are hitting everyone of my favorite tropes *screams in shipper*

Episode 4: AND NOW THEY’RE HITTING ME WITH THE DOMESTICITY?!?!?!?!?!?!?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FOCUS ON A MURDER WHEN THESE TWO ARE BEING HUSBANDS?????

Episode 5: Is Sorn x That a thing I can ship?? I am shipping it. Tan the standards you are giving me for men are so sky high I’mma be single forever

Episode 6: AKA the episode where I gasped a lot. Also Tan omg you are such a goner for your man. Bless everyone who uploads this show with English subtitles, this ish too good.

Episode 7: Is Tan Dam? Could Tan and Bun get more married? TAN IS DAM!

Episode 8: BUN BABY I KNOW TAN LIED TO YOU BUT HE LOVES YOU 😭 WHY AM I SURPRISED BY ANY OF THESE REVEALS???!??!?! HE HAS NO BREAKS HE HAS NO BREAKS OMG OMG HE CRASHED! AAAAAHHHHHH TAN SOMEBODY IS IN YOUR HOUSE SOMEBODY IS IN YOUR HOUSE WHY DID YOU NOT TAKE HIS HOOD OFF? WHY DID YOU GIVE HIM YOUR BACK? Episode 9: THEY ARE SOULMATES! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? IT’S NOT JUST LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, IT’S LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT WITH SOULMATES! TAAAAN! Y’ALL REMEMBER THE SPONGEBON EPI WITH THE CLAM AND THE MUSIC CAUSE I’M MR KRABS RIGHT NOW SCREAMING STOP WITH THE MUSIC! TAN BABY 😭 OMG THE TAN X BUN JAIL SCENE! THERE'S SOMEONE IN THE HOUSE WHY IS THERE SOMEONE IN THE HOUSE AGAIN! THEY ARE BEING SHOT AT! TAN WTF ARE YOU DOING???? THIS EPISODE MADE ME SCREAM A LOT.

Episode 10: Showering together! Seriously, these two tick all the boxes! When you love someone so much you don’t care they left you handcuffed for hours 😭 I AM TORN BETWEEN SCREAMING AT TAN NOT TO TOUCH ANYTHING OR TELLING HIM TO GET A WEAPON. IS THERE ANY EPISODE OF THIS SHOW THAT WONT MAKE ME SCREAM OR ANXIOUS AF. BUN BREAKING DOWN OVER TAN 😭 I need this episode to end so the next one can begin and I can understand this insanity- THAT YOU ARE LOCKED AND KIDNAPPED AND YOU ARE THINKING ABOUR SORN?!?!??!?!?!??!

Episode 11: I feel like I’mma need popcorn for this one brb *makes some popcorn* okay let’s continue 🍿 WHAT THE FUCK THERE IS SOMEONE AT THE HOSPITAL WHAT IS IT WITH THIS SHOW AND PEOPLE BEING PLACES! JESUS CHRIST SORN ALMOST KILLED ME APPEARING OUT OF NOWHERE! I KNEW FOR A FACT HE WASN’T DEAD YET BUN APPEARING OUT OF NOWHERE SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME. LEGIT MY REACTION:

This show has scared me and made me jump more times than any horror movie I’ve ever seen. I am so used to seeing him in uniform I did not recognize Inspector M for a minute. Tan and Bun are so cute always worried about each other but poor Inspector M he on the sidelines like ‘they forgot I’m here and we got a murder to solve’ 😂 TAN AND BUN LOOKING AT SORN AND THAT LIKE TWO PARENTS THAT KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON, SHOW YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME I'M A WEAK BITCH YOU CANT HIT ME WITH TWO CUTE COUPLES AND DOMESTICITY AND FOUND FAMILY FEELS AT THE SAME TIME! RUNG AND PEUD WERE A THING???? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? THIS EPISODE HAS ME GRIPPING THE EDGE OF MY SEAT AND IM NOT EVEN ON A CHAIR. WHY AM I SURPRISED BY ANY OF THIS WHEN I ALREADY SUSPECTED HER?

Episode 12: The epi I prioritized over live watching the season finale of another series I’m watching. Peud sucks!. Bun you did not have to kick that poor man in the ribs! You and Tan acting like two parents who got caught doing something inappropriate 😂 Nah, this is too easy there are still two episodes left, you can’t pull the rug out from under me this time show I’m ahead of you, I know you hiding something. THE CACTUS THAT IS GENIOUS! I like M but should he really be trusted with such a big job? Flamingo? That should be the stupidest thing yet it works I am angry at the fact that line works. CHECK THE E-MAIL. SHOW YOU GOT ME AGAIN WITH THE TWISTS AND THE TURNS I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING

Episode 13: RUNG YOU DISGUSTING *censored* Those men are vile, her sister is even worse I can’t believe I ever even thought she was in the right, Peud I’m sorry I was wrong about you- I mean you still suck, but you’re not as bad as I thought you were. This might be one of the best episodes of tv I’ve ever seen, it is heavy af it left me feeling sick and crying but it is so marvelously done and other shows need to take note because this is how you use flashbacks and convey emotion. Writers, editors, directors, actors give yourselves a round of applause cause this was a masterpiece 👏

Episode 14: HOW TAN HOW ARE YOU GONNA SAVE HIM? YOU SET THE FIRE AND YOU RUN FFS! Who did he call-INSPECTOR M! YES! KICK HIS ASS INSPECTOR M! BUT DONT WASTE ALL YOUR BULLETS ON HIM! THIS DUMB BITCH UPLOADED THE VIDEO. UPLOAD ALL! UPLOAD ALL! DON’T GO THROUGH THEM JUST UPLOAD EVERYTHING! TAN GOT BITCH SLAPPED IN HIS OWN PROPOSAL 😂 THAT PROPOSAL WAS SO OVER THE TOP AND EXTRA AND YET FOR THEM IT IS SO PERFECT AND FITTING AND ROMANTIC I KNEW IN ADVANCE THEY WERE GONNA GET THEIR HAPPY ENDING BUT I’M STILL SO 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Hold On To Me

(post time skip)

Angst, more angst, fluff, first kiss and ohh

Boruto lay awake in his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. It was anniversary of Kagura's death, and none of those who witnessed it were with him today.

All of them scattered on missions, it was only him and Sarada in the village, and Sarada had been called to the Hokage's office.

She came to his house at dawn to pull him out of bed and drag him to the Post Office. He was grateful.

This was the first year they couldn't be there for the memorial. All roads between the Five Great Nations have been blocked for safety reasons, so they sent Buntan a telegram.

You know we would have come.

Sarada was restless. She wanted to say more, but didn't know how to transform what she felt into words, and Boruto didn't know what he felt at all.

He only knew that he would have given everything to be there today, for Kagura had been his friend, and his death had left a wound that never quite healed.

They signed it as Shinobi of the Hidden Leaf.

Buntan's response came late in the afternoon, just before the Post Office closed. It said,

We know. He knows it too. Thank you, Sarada.

Sarada's jaw clenched when he brought it to her to read. She pursed her lips and didn't speak a word.

How Buntan knew it was Sarada who sent the telegram was out of Boruto's grasp, but she did know, and Sarada didn't manage to pull herself together for the rest of the evening.

Deaf for everything he said, she kept looking out the window of Thunder Burger, as if her soul could somehow reach the Hidden Mist.

This is unbearable, Boruto thought as he sat up in his bed. Before he knew it, he was on his way to Sarada's.

He found her in the hallway of her apartment in her pajamas, putting on shoes.

"What are you doing?" he asked her bluntly.

"What does it look like?" she retorted, taking them off. "We're going to sleep." Boruto almost smiled.

Embarrassed beyond explanation, she motioned for him to follow her and then put him in her bed, laying behind him so that she was the big spoon.

Most people felt safer when being held, but not Sarada. That night she held on to Boruto like her life depended on it, and in the morning he woke up to her drawing circles on his back with the tip of her finger.

Having felt the change in his breathing, her hand stilled, palm flat between his shoulder-blades.

" 'Morning," he hummed, eyes still closed.

" 'Morning," she murmured back.

Too wrapped in sleep for sensible conversation, he reached behind with his arm, seeking her body.

Sarada gently pushed his arm away, but a moment later the bed creaked as she shifted her weight to move closer to him, snuggling into his back so that he couldn't see her face. Her hand rested on his ribs.

She cleared her throat. "You know this wasn't just about Kagura, right?"

"I know," he murmured, covering her hand with his own.

"Thank you," she whispered. "For being there for me."

They lay in silence for a full minute. She thought he had dozed off again when he said, in a quite clear voice, "I needed you too, you know."

At that Sarada propped herself on her elbow so that she could see him.

"Really?" she asked, utterly serious.

Boruto turned on his back, allowing her a better view.

"Really," he confirmed. The look in his eyes was similar to the one he had when his father was killed.

He sat up slowly, scratching the edge of his jaw, like he always did when he was nervous. "Sarada?"

She blinked at him, moving into a siting position as well. "What is it?"

"In case something happens -"

"No."

"Let me finish. In case something happens - I want you to know that when we're in danger - " he paused, "my first thought is of you. Where you are and if you're safe. Yes," he added, seeing her expression change, "I know you can take care of yourself. You are one of the most powerful people I ever met. I'm just saying. My first thought is of you."

Her throat tightened. "And mine is of you," she said quietly, and it was the utmost truth. "It always has been."

Boruto looked at her in surprise, but something about her expression must have reassured him. He nodded, more to himself than to her.

Heart pounding in her ears, Sarada drew closer, wrapping her fingers around his neck. Feeling his quickened heartbeat under her palm, she kissed his forehead, then his temple and his cheekbone.

"Sarada?" he asked again.

She fought back a smile. "Hm?"

"Can I kiss you?"

She nodded, realizing that her throat has tightened to the point where it was difficult to speak, but this was Boruto, and she had loved him her whole life.

Sarada froze, making herself repeat that last thought.

I have loved him my whole life.

Boruto kissed her then, breaking all of her thoughts into stardust. She gasped softly, leaning into him, excitement coursing through her. It wasn't like she imagined it would be.

It was weird, and warm and wet, and a little clumsy, but it was the most beautiful thing in the world.

Boruto Novel 4: School Trip Bloodwind Records excerpt

Retells the Kiri Field Trip arc from Sarada’s POV - trying to translate the entire novel, but it’s huge, so will be posting it in parts and starting with bits unique to the novel. First up, an earlier meeting between Sarada and Buntan!

“Wow, this is amazingly high!” Wasabi cheered, shouting for joy at the scene below her eyes.

The observatory, Kirigakure Tower was considered to be the highest in the village of Kirigakure.

The group had left the park and come to their next destination.

Because there was an observatory above the rain clouds, the view from the observatory in the building called “The Rain Knower” was the best, and was also chosen as “100 Scenic Shinobi Spots to See at Least Once in a Lifetime”.

"How wonderful ...."

Sarada too became lost for words as sunlight burst over the scene.

She imagined from that view you could see until the end of the village of Kirigakure.

If they came here, no matter how steep their road was before, people could feel like they could cut through the future with that power.

Sarada, aiming to become Hokage, felt courageous from the sight.

The village of Kirigakure had a huge mound of various problems, and Chōjūrō and the people around him had certainly changed it. The result of that could be seen from this observatory. At the same time, the scene made her feel that Kirigakure’s future aim was powerful.

“You over there, did you drop this?”

With all present deeply moved by the scenery, the voice came abruptly.

When Sarada looked over her shoulder, there was a tall, slender woman. She seemed about five years older than Sarada?* She had a proper figure, and her gaze expressed a strong will.

She held out a handkerchief in her hand and presented it to Namida.

“Ah- that-it’s mine!”

The tall woman smiled at Namida’s voice.

“Be careful”

“Thank you”

She bent down to hand the handkerchief over to the shorter Namida. Even in such a nonchalant movement she could feel the woman’s splendour.

Sarada detected that expertise movement as characteristic of a trained shinobi. At least the true strength of a chunin, she thought.

“Err….are you a ninja too?”

“Yeah, that’s right! …..I wonder, are you the kids that came from Konogakure Village by any chance?”

Sarada nodded to the woman’s question.

As seemed to be the case with Hachiya in the Memorial Park, it appeared that the Konohagakure Village Academy students coming here on a field trip was quite widely well-known.

Perhaps to spread a welcoming mood across the whole of the village, or conversely to have the intentions and movements of those who harbour animosity towards Konoha restrained.

“Yes. I’m called Uchiha Sarada.”

“Uchiha….really”

For just a little bit, she could see the woman’s expression shadow over before her eyes. It was only for a moment, and Sarada must have been the only one who noticed.

….this person, had she reacted to the Uchiha name?

But the change in her expression had been there.

Particularly, she searched for any sign of hostility.

The Uchiha name was famous. That fame could be said to roar through the shinobi world.

But for the girl named Sarada, it hadn’t yet been accompanied by any actual feelings. When she was born, there had already been no Uchiha Clan, and it was only when she first meet her father that she had been made aware.

“I’m Buntan, Kurosuki Buntan! …...please, enjoy yourselves”

As the woman introduced herself as Buntan, she turned away.

The gallant, dashing figure departed, in some respects a gorgeous feeling.

“That person just now seemed to be a fine figure, eh?”

“Yeah, she really did!”

Namida’s thoughts spilled out, and Sumire fired off her agreement.

Sarada had no objections to this evaluation.

At the same time, Sarada felt that at any rate, when she’d introduced her Uchiha name she’d caught the woman’s expression.

“Heey, let’s gooo!”

Chōchō’s voice hung in the air.

Looking at it, she glimpsed the outer exit as they moved towards.

“Ah, sorry!”

As she spoke, Sarada rushed down to leave with her friends.

[ * Age is either a retcon or an error; would make Buntan 16, despite the Fourth War only being 16 years ago and Naruto meeting Raiga several years before. More likely 18-19]
