One. They have been called Love and/or Asset and will name themselves Ariel.

Two. Unfortunately, we already know all there is to their backstory 😭

Three. They’ve played around with the idea of lots of aesthetics and have settled on a sort of pastel, casual look with academia elements.

Four. They’re gender-fluid, so they switch from male, femme, and androgynous presenting on a whim.

Five. (Now that I’m really reading these questions, I’m so sorry for sending you an Android 😂) Marcus is an anime nerd in the worst way, so Ariel was deffo made with East-Asian features.

Six. They were made to look in their early twenties.

Seven. Slender and androgynous.

Eight. A Scorpio, though I’m not confident about that answer, I’ll admit.

Nine. Anton, who is the only person they feel likes them, and James, who is the only person who they feel respects them.

Ten. They’re still discovering hobbies and interests but so far, they’re enjoying listening to music and learning piano.

You are most welcome Lexi, always an honour to get to work with my first redacted friend, especially when it comes to this bean, Ariel! I still remember a few of the details from our previous conversations in regards to how you see them so I hope this does them justice!

Design Notes

Approaching Ariel's design, I had already had remembered conversations with you in regards to previous inspirations you'd mentioned for your take on Love. I also added in a bit of my own inspos to the mix to see what would take

For Ariel's design I wanted to keep in mind the solid collection of notes you'd written up so I could incorporate as much as I could whilst also condensing the design so I could make it simple to redraw (as I do with some of my other designs). My main focus when getting into this design however was to create a human and android Skin similar to how I'd made my Asset, Prim.

A big inspiration I had for them was Jenni from My Life As a Teenage Robot and Hatsune Miku so I decided that white metallic plates reminiscent of Jenni would work and blue hair similar to Miku would tie things together. Additional, I also chose to include colours from the PM title cards to establish that visual parallel .

As for clothing, I followed your instructions as best as I could, creating an androgynous fit that was pastel and had hints of academic elements! On top of that, I incorporated musical notes as a reference to the singing Ariel from the Tempest and the little mermaid does and to reference her proclivities for piano music. To reference back to your choice of Psyche as a god to represent Asset, I included butterfly designs on their overalls. To balance the whole pallette I combos the PM pallette and the pallette of their clothes which ended up being pretty readable overall! Another fun fact is that I also ended realizing that Ariel shares a clothing pallette with my Caelum!

Boy do I love this design…. I would say this is THE Miku. Or at least in this gen of becoming a piapro vocal synth character. This design says “beauty, elegance, innocence and digital era.”

And her wide sleeves!!! They are back baby!!!!

The way i would describe the difference between this design and the v2 design would be metal(v2) and plastic(nt)

Take everything I said about iXimas older Miku designs and apply to this one because I’ll just be repeating everything I said, BUT ADD ANGEL TOO IT.

She’s an absolute beauty, an angel, a goddess. This designs represents the impact of Hatsune Miku. It isn’t the definitive representation but that’s because I think there should be no such thing as definitive anything for Hatsune Miku.

She looks a lot older too, her v4 design made her look 14 but now she looks 16. Also a lot of her hair is back DO NOT MAKE A BALDING JOKE OH MY GOD ITS SO ANNOYING.

There’s a lot of little details I love about this design so I’m just going to list them since I don’t really have anything important to say about them.

Her little chain thing replacing her fabric belt on her hip

Her cute little high heels

The little dot on her knees

Her new tie

And her headphones!

BUT WAIT before I end this, if you been reading my other posts on her designs you should know I don’t like ‘frilly’ designs and I don’t think I ever said this before, don’t really like any other shape besides square for her hair bands… her Chinese design has an excuse it has a very purposeful reason of being like that but it makes me uncomfortable to look at.

On the design though- it’s absolutely perfect. I love the (I guess?) fake flat frills. I think I found why I don’t like frills, it’s Lolita fashion. I just don’t like Lolita fashion at all, I used to but it’s just not for me. The Lolita aesthetic feels really oppressive to me and generally makes me extremely uncomfortable, no hate to people who dress Lolita though! I’m only talking about the fashion, not the culture. My feelings towards it is rooted in some cultural trauma too.

And on the her hair bands. It fits and looks good. If the the hair bands were square I feel it would screw up the whole design. The circular hair bands were NEEDED. Everything is very smoothed out compared to her v2 design, imagine if she just had some random boxy thing in her design compared to her curvy and clothing and hair design.

I think that’s all I’m going to say for now cause that’s everything that on my mind when looking at this. Sorry for never posting, I’ve been dealing with a lot. Thank you for reading.

A beautiful baby girl was born into the world with hair color (h/c) and eye color (e/c). Her mother was overjoyed that her daughter was born healthy, and her father was beside her, beaming with happiness at his wife and daughter. "M/N, darling. She's beautiful just like you," F/N said, as he wrapped his arms around M/N and their baby girl. M/N turned to F/N and a soft smile appeared on her face.

"We would name her Y/N L/N, dear." she pecked Y/N's cheeks, then F/N softly ruffled Y/N's small hair and kissed her on top of her head. The L/N family has a beautiful daughter in their hands, and everything is perfect.

"I wish and hope that Y/N will have a life filled with eternal happiness. I hope that one day she will find true love with someone who makes her happy," the woman with the auburn hair warmly smiled at Y/N. Y/N, who was softly sucking her tiny fingers, looked at her mom with curiosity on her cute, soft face.

A woman suddenly appeared with black hair, black wings, and horns on her head, as well as a white flower in her hair. She was wearing a white dress with gloves that formed an "x" symbol. This woman is known as the goddess of fate. She saw a baby from the sky and a menacing smile appeared on her face. Suddenly, she had a malicious idea.

"Look at that adorable little baby! I have an idea, let's cast a spell on her and have some fun!" A sinister grin spreads across her face as she uses her magic to curse the baby with h/c hair. The fate of the poor infant remains unknown, as she has been cursed by the goddess of fate.

-11 years later-

A bunch of kids throw rocks at the h/c haired girl as she uses her arms to protect her head. "You are a monster and hideous!" one of the kids says as they grab one of the rocks from the floor and throw it toward the girl—who's trying her best not to cry in front of them.

"You're not a human like us!" They started laughing at the girl. This is not the first time that Y/N has experienced this in her life. Everything changed when she entered Kindergarten—when the children were giving her weird looks, everyone that came on her path got scared or avoided her at all costs as if she was an alien—even if she were talking to them first, they either screamed or frightened by her. Y/N was only a 4-year-old innocent girl at that time.

"You are a pathetic, ridiculous, and weak girl like you will never be loved by nobody!" Y/N hates it, "Don't get near me, you made me feel sick, such a hideous girl!" The girl yelled as she stepped away from Y/N, and then other kids looked at Y/N with terrified faces.

Y/N looked at the kids who were laughing at her, and she was staring at them with emotionless on her face. 'I hate living like this, and I wish just to end myself,' one kid went up toward Y/N slapped her face, and pushed her until she fell to the floor, while the other kids laughed even louder. "What a pathetic girl, your existence is making us humans look worse!" The boy looks angrily at Y/N who's trying to get up, but the boy kicks her on the legs, causing Y/N to fall back again.

'"I won't think about such sad things. After all," Y/N tried not to let her tears fall, "if I did, the tears won't stop spilling again." She felt her tears rolling down her soft cheeks, forming a pink-red hue in her eyes.

"Stupid girl, nobody in the world likes you, and it's better if you're off dead, no one won't miss you too!" After that, the boy leaves as he reunites with his friends and leaves the girl on the cold ground.

As the sun slowly sets on the horizon, Y/N tries to get up but the pain in her legs causes her to stumble and fall back. She wonders why she is the only one in the world suffering like this. The wind blows her hair as she looks down at her white dress, which has already been dirty from the times that she has been pushed down to the ground by a group of mean kids.

After a few minutes, Y/N rises to her feet and slowly walks towards her home, crying quietly to herself and making sure no one hears her.

Every night Y/N stays up late and goes to her window and sees the stars—where she makes the wishes, 'If only my one wish could come true...' Y/N hopefully looks at the beautiful stars in the sky, then she breathes in and out, and makes same the wish, 'I'd like to have one friend in this world. If my life is a wonderful thing won't be miserable and I just want someone who cares and loves for who I am... Living then would be such a wonderful thing...Or at least I'd like to think such a thing.' She raises her hand up to the sky and stares at the stars as they glow brightly around the town of Valley of Thorns.

As Y/N was leaving quietly and running towards her home, she didn't notice a boy with silver hair and bandages around his face who stopped in his tracks and turned his head towards the sound of feminine sobbing coming from the girl who passed by him. Standing next to the boy was a black-haired male with pink hair who looked like his son.

"Son, what's wrong?" he curiously asks while the boy is still staring at where the girl went. Then the young boy spoke without turning toward his father.

"It's nothing...but I heard someone crying..." As he spoke softly at the last part of his voice, he wondered if the girl was okay, 'If I found that girl again, I will ask her why she was crying...?' the young boy thought about it, he'll make sure if he ever sees her again—he'll have a word with her.

The silver-haired boy moves his head at his dad not able to his father's face as the bandages on the boy's face, and the fact he's blind but he can feel his father next to him, "Father, can we home already?" as he felt the night's cold approaching soon and the stars nearly coming out from the horizon.

His father looks at his son with a grin on his face, "Fufufu, Of course, son, but we need to wait for Sebek to get out of school we did promise to his parents that—we would pick him up from school, besides he almost gets out from school just in few minutes." as he raffles his son's hair.

Knowing the young child wished he could see his father's face, but he can't see, "Alright, father." With that, the father grabbed his son's hand and headed toward the front of the middle school waiting for someone. He looks at his son with curiosity on his face, 'Silver, what are you thinking...hmm' as he quickly looks at his son and sighs.

In the evening, Y/N arrived home in the Valley of Thorns. She tried to enter quietly, hoping that her mother or father wouldn't hear her. Y/N tip-toed quickly towards her room, thinking to herself, "Hopefully, they're not here. I don't want them to worry about these marks. I must hide them away."

As soon as Y/N passes by her parents' room, she overhears them arguing with each other. She decides to hide behind the door and listen to their conversation. "F/N, what are we going to do with Y/N?" M/N asks her husband, looking at him for an answer. F/N looks at her with a concerned expression on his face and replies, "I don't know, M/N."

But she has been in her room all day, and she won't tell us about her day and she also tells me saying that she's fine... " then F/N is saddened for a bit, "I'm worried about her, M/N, she's, our daughter. I want to see her happy..." as he speaks with sorrow in his voice.

'I am making my dad feel worried...' Y/N's eye trembles, 'This is my fault for making him worry about me...and I am making him feel a burden because of me...' she slowly glances up to the ceiling, as her bangs cover her face, and a single tear roll downs her cheeks go away, and walks toward her bedroom.

-4 days later-

A group of kids approach Y/N and they form a small circle around her, and then they all start to say awful things to her that would cause her to fall into pain and cry. "You're a fit rat!!" one of them shouted toward her and laughed, "No wonder nobody in the loves you...aww so sad a girl like you shouldn't have existed in this world" as they continued to laugh.

Suddenly, the blind silver-haired boy appeared in the scene and screamed at the groups of kids "Why is hardly to be blind but brave enough to be brave." And then he angrily steps closer toward the bullies and steps in front of Y/N. "This is not of seeing an act of unreasonable discrimination! Are rats that dirty?"

He continues towards them while approaching, as they start to step away from the H/C-haired girl and silver-haired boy after that they run away.

The silver-haired boy walked toward the girl and gave her a small smile, "Hey are you okay?" The girl looked up at the boy, "Yeah... I'm okay." she answered in a low tone and tried not to cry in front of him.

'This is the first time someone has saved me from eternal suffering from bullies.' Tears rolled down Y/N's face, 'I will never forget this day in my entire life' She didn't know why she felt so much happiness in her heart and never felt this warm feeling of hers.

The bandaged silver-haired boy sees you and smile, then you hold the boy's hand and guide him slowly while he follows you with a smile on your face the overwhelming feeling of the happiness inside of you, "If I could become something I wanted to be, then..." small tears form on yours eyes.

"I want be a normal girl in front of your eyes..."

Y/N's heart ached at this realization, as she was burdened with a perpetual curse that ensured her days were always filled with misfortune and an unjust life. This caused her to shed tears of despair.

The silver-haired young man, who had lost his sight, had a spontaneous idea.

'I desire to do something that will bring you joy.'

He distanced himself from the girl, taking a few steps back, and plucked a white lily from a nearby tree. With the flower in hand, he approached Y/N, delicately placing it in her hair, and offered her a warm smile.

"If I ever had the opportunity to behold your exquisite countenance, I would have undoubtedly fallen in love," he expressed, gently resting his hand on Y/N's cheek. "However, fate has deprived me of sight." He continued to caress Y/N's cheeks tenderly, his smile unwavering.

This act of kindness alert the goddess of fate she saw act between you and the silver-haired boy, and this made her made mad so with a malicious intent, " If you could only see that ugly girl face you have run away and leave her!!"

With that the goddess of fate cast a spell on the silver haired boy.

The boy's violet eyes looked beautiful on his face as he pondered how he could see, despite never being blind. All of a sudden, the white lily transformed into a foreboding black lily.

The Goddess of fate suddenly materializes before you, presenting a black lily that was once as white as snow. With a smirk, she states, "Here is the flower he bestowed upon you," as she gently tosses the black lily towards you, instructing you to pick it up.

Y/N clutched a black lily to her chest, acknowledging, "In light of everything, my punishment…" Tears streamed down her face as she confessed, "I have lost sight of my position and succumbed to love."

Overwhelmed with emotion, Y/N began to weep uncontrollably, exclaiming, "I would be better off dead!" In response, the silver-haired boy raised his voice and shouted at her.

"Do not weep, for I shall forever remain by your side, even until our last breath. This is why," he gently takes a strand of Y/N's hair, "Starting today, you will live as an ordinary girl, understood?"

As the silhouette of the goddess of fate vanishes, the boy notices a h/c-haired figure and asks, "Did you witness that?"

After breaking the spell, Y/N smiles at the boy, fully aware that this is the most incredible moment she has ever experienced.

Following those events, she and a silver-haired boy named Silver formed a bond, with Silver pledging to stay by her side until death do them part. As they matured together, they built a beautiful family and shared many incredible experiences.

Love is in the air, Cupid Miku says Happy Valentine's Day!

Time taken: 3 Hours and 5 Minutes

I plan to edit a speedpaint of this soon, progress shots under the cut!

2 days ago I got the idea of a Cupid Miku and drew her on paper, her whole vibe is inspired by Goddess Madoka as you may or may not be able to tell, with the bow and arrow and the big trail on the dress

Then the next day I was already making progress on the full illustration, I decided to do it digitally instead of on paper because I wanted to go all out with this one

I figured out her colors really quick, just grabbed a lovecore color palette online and tweaked it around to the colors I liked

I picked her pose from this bow and arrow pose I found in Pinterest

Tbh I realized my Miku was gripping the bow wrong too late to fix it and now it's gonna keep bothering me lol, but oh well nothing I can do now :p

I might actually make a print and a big sticker of this Miku! I'm very proud of how she turned out :D

I have come back with an AU I had in my mind for about a year and a half. This AU has been in the back of my mind for the longest time, but I have finally decided to share it.

It will not be a full story due to my lack of skills in writing. So I will draw some scenes here and there and explain them.

This AU takes place during the event, On the Stage of Dazzling Light, where Tsukasa, out of frustration of not being able to deliver his lines correctly, runs out of the stage that him and the others (Rui, Nene, and Emu) where at. He runs to the road without looking both ways and gets hits by a car (look, I know that's cliche-), which ends his life.

However, he wakes up and is greeted by Hatsune Miku(I imagine Miku is dressed in her Divine Goddess module from Project Diva), and she gives Tsukasa another chance at life but in return he can't go back to the real world and is forced to live in his Sekai. In addition, he also loses his memories, well, most of them. He still remembers his family.

The rushed doodle above shows him in his outfit from the event (which is the outfit he died in). The reason why there is a black transparent circle surrounding him is because once he got to the Sekai, the bright lights hurt his eyes, so at first, he toned the brightness down in the Sekai (he is the owner of it after all, meaning he can do whatever he wants with the Sekai). But later on, he made it so the Sekai looks like it was at the beginning, but made it so that the lights weren't too bright when he was around. This is because he saw the other inhabitants sad that the Sekai wasn't as colorful as it used to be, he felt bad and changed it back to how it was at the beginning.

aka the entire au is Tsukasa trying to die so he can go home early and get back to Saki and Toya, because woe be upon him he got re-incarnated in one of the worst Isekai fantasy manga's ever. Luckily he made a deal with the goddess of this world (Miku) that if he dies he can just, go home. But she never forbade him from intentionally trying to die!

Now why does this manga suck so bad? Well, everything is handed to the protagonist on a silver platter, the other characters have no personality outside the protagonist, The protagonist doesn't even struggle in the slightest and it takes itself way too seriously! The manga seriously expects you to care about the story line, well, whatever story line there is between the hero's stupid harem.

My point is, it sucks. Hell, even the author had admitted that it was just a cash grab so they could work on better projects! So, Tsukasa has to deal with all of this.

But, at least he can affect the story by not following the plot. The very first thing he does on his journey is go the wrong way after all, leading him down a rather different path to the manga's protagonist. And on this path he meets... people with actual personality that weren't in the original story line?! Okay, it's certainly tempting to stay and get to know these people, but Tsukasa has a responsibility to return to his siblings, and nothing gets in the way of that

Not even love, definitely not love.

So, Tsukasa tries to die in various, sometimes hilarious ways. As unfortunate as it is he can't do the deed himself, he has to get murdered or die in an accident. The only rule is that he can't kill himself, not that he can't get himself killed by acting reckless. It's a really easy rule to follow, and there's been quite a few times where he almost dies but one of his teammates(Akito, Kanade and Minori) always save him.

So how the hell is he going to die?

ANYWAY my wxs* focused fantasy au!! i have a couple rp blogs for it but that's the closest i get to making content for it rn..

*other characters involved but wxs has the most developed and involved

ANYWAY let me go sicko mode under the cut hehe. taking a bit from my rui blog bc i dont wanna retype all dat

worldbuilding

there is a big magical forest at the center of the region, it's considered dangerous and somewhat risky to travel through, as the inhabitants (which are primarily either magic users/"witches" or other inhuman beings. but there's also some standard like. fantasy jrpg monsters yk how it is) consider it their safe home and may not take kindly to outsiders or anyone trying to harm the forest.

magic users have varying reputations in the kingdoms outside of the forest, some don't mind and maybe even are welcoming towards them, others frown upon it but ultimately don't care, but some might even consider it taboo or forbidden to dabble in. it's for this reason that magic users born in the kingdoms may ultimately leave their homes to live in the safety of the forest instead

virtual singers (theyre the only ones to come up in story, but not the only ones) are among many of the guardians of the region, originating from the forest.

miku is basically the god of the world (likely under another name- or the goddess's name is known only as hatsune but not miku), but can't physically interfere in her primary state (think the law of cycles from pmmm), and so sends "fragments" of herself (sekai mikus) to help people and in the case of this au its the prsk characters

the otori family are the rulers of one of the kingdoms (the kingdoms do not have names. do not look at me), rakunosuke, the original king of the otori kingdom before emu's father kounosuke took over, was a lot more of open to magic users and other fantastical beings, and taught his son and grandchildren accordingly. when he passed, however, kounosuke and his elder sons would teach the younger children to be more fearful and wary- that not every being they'd encounter would be friendly

tsukasa & saki grew up in a small town with their parents, but fell on unexpected hard times, this resulted in them having to leave the town and it's inhabitants behind, the two ended up on their own, later joined by a semi amnesiac toya, where they were later adopted and raised by the otoris, being raised as royalty accordingly. (tsukasa trained to be a knight however, and toya felt very strongly about not wanting to be a heir unless absolutely necessary, resolving to use his smarts to tutor the other kids)

rui is a natutal born magic user who grew up in a town that was not quite favorable to them- atleast not to magic users who don't restrain themselvesm rui wanted to experiment with his magic to see what he could do- all for the sake of helping people- be it healing, or doing visual tricks to make others smile, but the other villagers were afraid and/or distrusting of him. fearful of the villagers turning that hatred towards his parents, rui fled the village one night without telling his parents (at best leaving a note explaining why he left) to go stay in the forest.

nene is a friend of rui's- a mermaid from said forest, rui would visit when he was younger, coming to see her at the lake she stayed at. there, alongside their third companion (mizuki), the kids would discuss all sorts of things- magic, nature, society, the world.. nene doesn't know much of the world outside the forest, but wants to see the ocean someday.

tsukasa went out on a patrol to scout the areas of the region a bit further out from where the kingdom was situated- it's there he comes across rui and his "familiars" (kaito and wxs!miku) and the story begins! but tsukasa's big adventure also inspires emu to go on one of her own and play catch up ✨️
