WRIOTHESLEY is such a touchy boyfriend

he constantly wants his hands all over you

he’s most likely taller than you , so he’ll use your head or shoulder as an armrest , smiling down smugly as he looks at your displeased expression

sometimes he does it to be an ass , but he mostly does it because he craves physical affection

he also has a habit of pressing cheek against yours , letting his stubble stab you in the face

sometimes licks your face just to fuck with you idk

he finds physical contact to be his favorite love language

sometimes just comes up behind you and pulls you into his chest

despite his cryo vision , he’s actually super warm !

you stood in the comfort of your shared bedroom , looking in the mirror as you dressed yourself. or at least , attempted to dress yourself.

you and wriothesley had been invited for a small formal event at the palais mermonia. it being a formal event meant you should dress in something more sophisticated than you typically would.

your hair was held up by a clip , temporarily moved out of the way while you struggled with the laces of the dress. it felt impossible to get the dress to fit snugly against your figure. anytime you thought you had it , the laces were too loose or they looked too lopsided. it was growing frustrating.

❝ need help? ❞ a more than familiar voice asked from the other side of the room. you held the top of the dress against your chest , turning to face him.

wriothesley stood on the other side of the room, fixing his tie as he glanced over at you. he didn’t say anything as he looked at the dress you had been struggling to put on.

❝ turn around. ❞ he said , walking over to where you stood.

you did as he asked , turning to face the mirror as he took his place behind you.

his hands reached for the thin laces on the back of your dress , beginning to tug on them. he pulled the laces through the loops in your corset , being careful not to lace it up too tightly. he would hate to accidentally crush your ribs in the process.

you watched him through the mirror. he looked so focused as he laced up your dress. his eyes narrowed as he worked. he was so pretty when he was focused.

❝ there, ❞ he hummed , tying the remainder of the lace into a small bow. he rested his hands on your hips , causing your stomach to explode with butterflies.

❝ look at you. ❞ you could practically hear the smile in his voice as he rested his head against yours , looking at you through the mirror. ❝ you look gorgeous, ❞

❝ thank you, ❞ you replied with a soft laugh , your face heating up as he complimented you. it was obvious he was checking you out , but you couldn’t complain.

the dress was fitted nicely to your figure , showing off your curves whilst being comfortable enough to allow you to move.

❝ how did i get so lucky? ❞ he happily sighed , pressing a soft kiss to your temple.

❝ oh you’re lucky? ❞ you asked , looking over your shoulder at him.

you could clearly see the absolute love and adoration he held for you on his face. he had this stupid smile on his face while looking down at you.

❝ so lucky, ❞ he whispered , pressing a soft kiss to your shoulder. he let his lips linger for a moment before pulling away. he took the clip out of your hair , letting your hair fall against your skin.

❝ now , let’s get your hair styled , hm? ❞

your boyfriend was always so happy to help. and you were more than happy to let him.

who knew the duke of the fortress of meropide had such a soft spot for his lover?
