The cell was in the deepest part of the facility, shielded from sunlight and covered in an extra layer of protective padding. There was only one way in or out: a single heavily secured (and thoroughly bolted) maximum security door with a single, sliding window in which to see the person kept within. Red light glowed from within, seeping through the seams. Cadmus had been waiting for this and they were ready for him.

Kal was back on the padded pillow assumed to be a bed when the viewing window was open, perched on the edge with his legs curled to his side. Lifting his gaze, his eyes widened when he saw exactly -who- had come to visit him. His gaze lowered again. “You shouldn’t have come here.”

It wasn't often that his little friend, who he'd named Red, came into a city with him. Red usually preferred to stay out in the forest, not liking to be around so many humans.

Today was one of those rare days when Red crawled into his pocket as he made his way to the edge of the forest. Ash gave the pocket a light pat to let Red know that he knew he was in there.

As he made his way into the city, Red poked his head out of the pocket and looked around curiously, and chattering. To anyone else, it just sounded like mindless chattering. To Ash, he was actually talking.

"I will never understand how you and humans walk on two legs," Red said. "Seems so unbalanced."

"You stand on two legs," Ash pointed out.

"Yeah, but I don't walk on them. I walk on all four."

"Maybe, but you also eat using the hands you had on the floor," he countered. Red ducked back into the pocket when he saw someone walking towards them, which made Ash chuckle. "Skittish little squirrel," he said.

Whenever there's a Jukebox present, BIlly always finds a good song that they can dance and sing along to. They're also very good dance partners and have a lot of fun.

Usually everyone else joins along.

Billy was shocked when he heard the sound of a giant crash nearby. He ran towards it in his normal form, noticing the giant self-made meteorite that was burning, a weak voice being heard underneath. "Mer! You there?" he asked. "SHAZAM!" He quickly went up to the sphere and lifted it off of her. "Are you alright?"

Burning grove, burning stone and soon a child burning with the rage of a thousand suns.

Meredith took breath, blinking rapidly as blinding sunlight poured in without warning. Air, light...she is free. Mangled limbs lie limp next to her burnt, sliced body. Her eyes focused, centered on Billy. In them the pain screamed where lips refused. She never was much of a screamer. Screaming alerts others to pain, others that might think an eight year old in the forest is a tasty snack.

"Hey..." she breathed, forcing a smile.
