「midnight in a perfect world」

i just want Dear Reader taylor swift to know that we dont want another guiding light. She doesn't need to be perfect and make all the right decisions in order for us to look to her, because thats not what we are doing. Listening to her music, watching the art she makes out of her life just feels like hiking a long, sometimes scary trail, but feeling okay because you see footprints ahead of yours. "Someone else has been here. Someone else is Okay after this part. I'll be okay after this too."

And sometimes we're the footsteps around her too. We've remembered all too well too. We've fought in great wars before too.

Point is, We dont need to find a different guiding light. We are all ships on the water each with our own single little kerosene lantern but together it adds up. Together we shine so bright. The path isn't too dark anymore.

I totally agree that Art Is Dead is a Jupe song but what about All Eyes On Me ... get on out of your seats ... we're going to go where everybody knows ... get inside ... aaaaa 🛸

Not that long ago if you'd ask me do I want to go anywhere I'd say no: im good with being in one place and it's not like I get out of the house anyway, maybe move to a different country and settle. But now it's kinda like, I don't know what changed but I feel a little trapped. Maybe it's cos I'm lonely lol ynnow? When you realise you don't really have any close friends it starts weighing down on you and maybe if I didn't stay in one place I could at least delude myself that it's because I'm always on the move. Maybe it's the fantasy of meeting someone new and traveling the world with them in a van barely making enough money to satisfy our needs and having the time of our lives. I don't know but point is if you asked me even a month ago I'd tell you I don't want to travel but if you asked me now all I wish I could do was ghost everyone I know and live alone or on the road
