Ive always felt like Maroon and Exile were about Him but after Youre Losing Me I feel like that confirms it.

I don't understand why people get so upset over the existence of album/vinyl variants, its just another way for her to express her creativity:

For ttpd for example the covers seem to follow the 5 stages of grief which is a cool thing to do abt an album probably largely about that experience; on midnights it gave us a great world-building photoshoot and created a clock which was on-theme and then the existence of both the midnights and ttpd variants allows for us to clearly see the parallels in the photos between the two, which further connects the albums and her experience where in her "midnights" she was evaluating this relationship and all of her past relationships, trying to understand the big picture and in ttpd shes now in the aftermath of the conclusion she got from all her analyzing in midnights—that they cant be together anymore, and now shes a heartbroken, greyed-out mirror image of those midnights images.

Ultimately I think all of that ^ is really cool and on theme with her lifelong commitment to drawing parallels and dropping easter eggs throughout her work; and I can enjoy all of that without ever feeling any pressure to actually make any purchases

tldr: Nobody is a 'bad' swiftie for not buying album variants, nobody is forcing anybody to buy one of them or all of them, their existence is a part of the storytelling, them being for sale is optional and also wouldnt exist without there being demand. People who want them will get them, if you dont want to spend the money simply do not!!! There is nothing wrong with that but hating their existence as if its all just a money grab feels like a waste of energy.
