My Kirby headcanons part.1

1- Marx has a wardrobe of shirts with questionable jokes and bad words

2- Taranza has a very developed vocabulary

3- Taranza, Sectonia and the people of the sky all have a british accent

4- Marx always gets wasted at parties ( if there’s alcohol, he chugs it)

6- When Meta knight listens to people or make eye contact with them he stares at them in an intimidated way unintentionally and has bad social skills

7- Meta knight has autism and DDD has ADHD

8- King DDD has an obsession with chips and Bandana Dee has to hide them with Meta knight in a locked up safe

10- Shadow Kirby has social anxiety, their usually nervous but sometimes they can get really aggressive and start swearing at everyone rambling and throwing a tantrum

26- Queen Ripple and DDD used to be in a relationship but things got complicated and they broke up (their still pan buddies tho)

Currently just thinking about just how weird Kirby’s process of growth is.

When he first arrived on Popstar at a few weeks old, he was tiny. 8 — 10 inches, to be exact. That’s average for someone his age.

By the time they defeated Nightmare in the anime at a year old, they were 3 feet tall, and already had horns and fangs growing in.

When he defeated and purified Void at 3 years, he was 5’9”, his horns were almost fully grown, and his wings were way too big for someone his age.

Now, in modern day, at 4 years old, he’s 6’1”, his horns are fully grown, and his wings are well on their way to the end of the final growth stage.

That is… not normal, like at all.

Kirby’s height when he first came to Popstar is understandable — after all, he was only a couple weeks old. However, the fact that he grew to 3 feet tall in 1 year is concerning, considering how Star Warrior growth and aging works. Meta Knight, Hano, and Empress were pretty confused when his horns started growing — that happens at about 2 years of age — but they put it off as a random growth spurt.

Then Kirby’s wings started growing in. At 2 years old.

That is the furthest thing from normal.

Wing growth is Star Warriors typically starts at 5 years, not 2. And their wings were growing fast. 6 months later, they were bigger than them. At this point, Kirby was about 4’9”. That is abnormally large for a 2-year-old Star Warrior.

His height began changing drastically, too. After 9 months from his wings starting to grow, he was 5’9”, and the storyline of Star Allies was just beginning.

Void predicts that, if they continue growing the way they are now, they’ll be fully grown by the time they’re 6.

That is the least amount of normal something could be.

For reference, Galacta Knight was 7’3” from 22 to modern day, and he won’t be getting any taller. Star Warriors in general are typically in adult stages of growth by 16 or 17 years, and average height for those ages is about 6’5”. Star Warriors are usually fully grown when they’re 20 — 22 (the latter being Galacta Knight’s case).

In other words, Kirby grew alarmingly (and unsurprisingly very painfully) faster than is normal. He somehow ended up in the final growth stages at 4 years old instead of the expected 16, and will be done growing by the time he’s 6.

That is terrifying.

Void estimates that, since his parents were both over 7 feet tall, he is going to end up at the very least 7’9”, at most 8’3”. He is expected to grow 1-2 feet in 2 years.

Many people are, understandably, incredibly concerned. Including Void, and especially Galacta.

Even Elfilis is alarmed. They didn’t understand at first (they thought kirby was, in fact, a teenager when they met), but now that his situation has been explained to them, they are actually starting to freak out a bit.

Fumu has been trying to research Star Warrior growth and come to a conclusion as to why this is happening, but she hasn’t found any leads yet. There isn’t much documentation as to Star Warrior growth, unfortunately.

Hano, Meta, and Galacta have absolutely no clue why they’re growing so fast, and they are the most knowledgeable people in Dreamland when it comes to Star Warrior biology.

They’ll find out eventually, but until then, they just have to remain confused and scared.

Alright! This is going to be a bit long since Equinox has plenty behind him.

Equinox is Meta Knight’s and King Dedede’s child but apparently, he is a dampyr!

A dampyr is what you call the offspring of a vampire and a human (in this case, mortal.) I head canon that Meta Knight is a vampire (hence the fangs I give him.) Equinox was brought into this world not by Star Dream, but instead from Meta Knight’s own power. (The story goes that Meta Knight used cellular alteration to bring him to life as a small child. Whether or not his birth was natural or artificial is something Meta Knight will not tell anyone…) However, since he is half-vampire and half-mortal he does not suffer from any vampiric weaknesses (such as sunlight or silver) but he still ages (very slowly just like a puff) and he also still deals with his bloodlust.

Despite being a vampiric being he is very gentle and benevolent in nature, though he has his wild streaks* sometimes. He also is very well aware of his surroundings, he is cunning and he is a very quick learner. He also seems to take his bloodlust even better than Meta…

Equinox was born on September 22, which was also the day of an equinox (autumn equinox.) When he was born his parents were overjoyed that the alteration was a success (he didn’t die or carry any off-genes or mutations…) and he was quickly taken in and introduced to the Waddle Dees, Kirby etc…

He is still extremely young despite him looking like a small child or even teen. He knows to to read and speak and he has proven himself to be very empathetic to Meta Knight’s surprise. Despite being a work of dark magic he seems to be just as legit as any child born by natural means.

In his off-time he likes to play and eat with Kirby, he has a really big gut and will eat three-fourths of his weight in a single sitting. (As mentioned in a previous post one of the tags said he really likes sweets…) He also enjoys reading (specifically psychology and short fiction…)

His physical figure represents King Dedede’s but he has Meta’s wings, claws and fangs. He also has a small tail which you can see if he is not wearing his robe. He sports a robe-cape that covers his arms but is open in the front, revealing a fuzzy tummy and a band similar to Dedede’s. On the back is a mashup of Meta Knight’s and Dedede’s insignias. He also has a tuft of hair on top of his head and has longer fur on his belly. His fangs are two on the top, two on the bottom (not grown in yet & same as Meta’s) he is able to walk outside at daytime without the need for a parasol and he also is able to eat human food with ease (he can be sustained on it as well.) (Still needs blood occasionally though…)

In general Equinox is a dampyr who is very kind. He loves his fathers and despite having a dark side he does not give into it. (Meta is a very good role model, as he has undergone his own harsh journey through darkness in order to find light. He struggles with his lusts, sure, but he has the willpower to deal with them and stow them away.)

Lore on Meta’s affliction will be coming soon, it will clear up any confusion that you might have in regards to Meta and his vampiric nature. More may be added to Equinox’s backstory as well.

Korb is just Some Guy in a lot of media pre Star Allies however Korb in the anime is assigned-main-character-at-birth aka a Star Warrior. My phone dying rn so ill just quote a really old forum "

The first thing to remember is the English dub was wrong. They omitted an entire group that was actually more prominent in the original- the Ginga Senshi Dan, or Galaxy Soldier Army. Whereas the dub calls nearly any soldier a Star Warrior, this is far from the truth. (In addition, the dub removes everything about the legends surrounding the Star Warriors.)

The Galaxy Soldier Army (hereby to be called the GSA) is the name for the army that fought against Nightmare. Anyone, in theory, could be in this group. Meta Knight was a high ranking member of it.

And Meta Knight is also a Star Warrior. Star Warriors, it seems, were commonly in the GSA- but not everyone in the GSA is a Star Warrior!

Star Warriors are not a species, and not anyone can BE a Star Warrior.

[Aquatic Base ~ Level 2 ~ - Mariko Nanba]

Tsugumi : I'm almost there! I gotta make it through to level 2 and then I'll meet up with the ship's crew!

Slippy (via radio) : Alright, Tsugumi! We're counting on you! I'll meet you there at Area 3! We need Meta Knight's ship operational before the Mad Scientist's robots is going to find us! We better make moves if we want to survive this and do not stop!

Tsugumi : Roger that!

Computer Voice : WARNING. WARNING. UNKNOWN INTRUDER PASSING AREA 2 AT THE AQUATIC BASE HAS BEEN FOUND! SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED AS TSUGUMI HARUDORI AND STAR FOX OPERATIVES! ALL UNITS PREPARE FOR BATTLE FORMATION AND ENGAGE. BEGINNING AREA SHUT DOWN SYSTEM ACTIVATION.

Tsugumi : Oh no! The Security is going to put a stop on me! Did they really think that have the chance to defeat me!? No will not! Nothing will stop us now! Watch this! (Destroys all of Eggman's Mechs) Beat that!

Slippy : (via radio) Careful! The Security is beginning the activation shut down sequence! Use one of the candies from that upcoming Mario Party 8 game!

Tsugumi : Here goes nothing. (Eats a slowgo candy to slow down time) Now this will only take a minute to effect things! It's time out for these guys...!

*clock ticking*

Tsugumi : And time in for me!

(time returns to normal)

Tsugumi : Made it! Hey, it's another of that ball. But the only problem is that the route for this ball is blocked lasers through this area and I can see underwater creatures from here before. (outside the window are Jellyfish swimming by)

*Jellyfish buzzing*

Tsugumi : Hello friend.

Jellyfish : (blows a raspberry and swims away)

Tsugumi : (chuckles nervously)

Slippy (via radio) : Why did I even bother watching cartoons. I'm really not in the mood for sushi. So who's not there if anyone gonna turn of the lasers?

(suddenly the laser are turned off)

Slippy : Woah! Who actually did that?

Sir Kibble : Sir Halberd Knight! It looks like you needed our advice! We'll help you with the Meta-Knights!

Tsugumi : Mr. Kibble! You guys sure know about having good timing! You're truly a great help!

Sir Kibble : Go now! We'll handle the robots to our selves! Get across to safely to the ship, immediately! It's shall lead you to Area 3!

Mace Knight : The enemy reinforcements are down! Proceed to the next area, quickly!

Axe Knight : Have faith in us, Sir Halberd Knight!

Javelin Knight : We can fight these machines and turn them into scrap!

Tsugumi : Thanks guys! I owe you one! Now then time for me to roll!

(cuts to Tsugumi at the door to Area 3 where Slippy and the Star Fox crew is at)

Tsugumi : Yo, Toad!

Slippy : Tsugumi Harudori! You're right on time!

Fox Mccloud : You must be Tsugumi Harudori.

Tsugumi : And you are...

Fox Mccloud : Fox Mccloud, leader of Star Fox Team. Meta Knight sent us a transmitting device to find the ship's location. We found out that his ship that crashed landed in the ocean was repaired and reconstructed by one of your greatest designs.

Falco : Ever since that terrible incident in 2003, we found out that you were the only survivors of that attack at your school when Inky Albarn arrived. But when the heartless tried to attack you and your friends, Meta Knight and his crew had save and brought your friends to the hospital. Don't mind him to pay your friends mountain of medical bills. The latest medical research team we had our working on restoring your friends life.

Tsugumi : So lemme get this straight. My friends are alive and they are having some medical treatment. Like restoring them back to life by a special Medical research team? Maybe I that I haven't forget that my friends will ever see me again and they will tell me that I become a hero of my own story! Yeah, that'll work!

Krystal : You got yourself a deal, Halberd girl! You do have a real story of your own and not Soul World. Now then, come on. Let's get you to the Halberd and prepare to meet your friends. They are waiting for you at the bay!

Anya : (voice heard) Tsugumi!

Meme : (voice heard Tsugumi!

Tsugumi : Guys! Wait! I'm coming for you! (the lights went out)

Falco : What the-!? Hey! The lights went out! I hope the duke didn't pay the electric bill!

Fox : No Falco. Something's not right. This could might be a trap for all us.

Computer Voice : Intruders that passed Area 3. You have passed all three areas of the Aquatic Base zone and I am afraid that you are still unauthorized to be at this facility any longer. But since you did not follow my commands or any of the rules in this secret abandoned laboratory owned by Soleanna. I have no choice but to give myself one last task to put a stop you intruders from entering this facility without any authorization. So that is why the doctor has given me one last order and I am putting Aquatic Base into a nice, full-on...[changes with a male voice] "CODE RED!"

[Chika Kichi Hasshadai - Hideaki Kobayashi]

*SA2 SFX : ALARM BLARING*

Tsugumi : Since when security did something about a code red thing! Is that about the Mtn Dew drink?

Falco : It's not about Mtn Dew.

Slippy : Oh no! that can't be good! What have the lab's security done now!?

Fox Mccloud : Everyone! The labortaory's security has activated a full-scale Code Red! It's going to shutdown the entire place to trap any intruders that are inside the facility!

Falco : And whatever security is doing, it's going lock us in and seal the lab away...forever!

Tsugumi : But, guys! We can't leave everyone behind, can we? We need to come up with a plan to get us out of here!

Slippy : Well, don't just stand there, Tsugumi! Do something before we are completely trapped inside the laboratory forever! You don't want leave Meta knight's crew hanging around, would you!?

Tsugumi : [thinking] Hmmm...I won't forget my friends that are leaving behind! Soldiers of Meta Knight!

Mace Knight : You called, Sir Halberd Knight?

Tsugumi : Follow our lead with Star Fox and make our way through to escape this entire lab! For Meta Knight and Galaxia!

Meta Knights : For Meta Knight and Galaxia!

Tsugumi : Now then! Ready, everyone? Let's race our way out of here! CHAAAAARGE!!!

All : (battlecries)

Computer Voice : [with a male voice] YOU STUBBORN PESTS! YOU'LL NEVER ESCAPE THIS LABORATORY! I HAVE ACTIVATED THIS CODE RED SEQUENCE TO LOCK YOU ALL DOWN AND BECOME MY PRISONERS INSIDE THE LAB THAT WILL EVENTUALLY SEAL THE LAB AWAY ALONG WITH YOU IN IT! I'LL SEAL THIS ENTIRE LAB AWAY IMMEDIATELY! [laughs and then laughs evilly]

Tsugumi : We'll see about that! Everyone! Eat a slowgo candy as fast you can!

Everyone : Roger! (Tsugumi and everyone eats a Slowgo candy)

Tsugumi : Alright, everybody. Time to slow things down! And now I'll attack the enemies! For sure! Eat this, chumps!

*DBZ SFX : SLASHING*

Tsugumi : That should keep them busy!

[cuts to Meta Knight at the dock of his ship]

Meta Knight : Come on, Tsugumi. Please make it on time. If we don't move on, you'll be left alone one along with everyone and my men.

Sailor Waddle Dee : Will they ever make it alive, my lord? Please, they're gonna be alright if they are gonna make it?

Meta Knight : ....

Sailor Waddle Dee : Meta Knight! sir!

Meta Knight : It's no use. They'll never make it. Come, Sailor dee. We better get the ship ready.

Sailor Waddle Dee : But sir...

Meta Knight : It's too late for us! They're not coming and they are never gonna make it time! So let's get into the ship and start the launch!

Sailor Waddle Dee : Understood, sir.

Tsugumi : No we're never too late! We finally made it time!

(everybody gets aboard to the Halberd)

Peppy : Thank goodness, Fox. What took ya so long? The ship is prepared to launch. Thanks to you, Tsugumi Harudori, with the Halberd repaired and reconstructed, you sure how to make cool ships that are the master of designing an aircraft or a spacecraft.

Computer Voice : [Female voice] Thrust once increasing at Maximum Output. Course plotted. Gate open. Beginning Halberd ascend. 5...4...3...2...1...lifting off!

Tsugumi : All hands on deck! Prepare to fly!

[Fanfare for Dr. Eggman - Masaru Setsumaru]

*DBZ SFX : Ship blasting off*

Tsugumi : Yes! We're finally flying high in the sky! Let's spread our wings and fly!

22. i dont actually read kirby fics much, at least at the moment, cus i can’t find ones that appeal to me. that said i don’t like it when people have kirby say “poyo” when it’s not even an anime fic.

the official novels are technically licensed fanfics so i’ll take those into account for this question, i like how they give kirby actual character (i know the bar is low) but like. i especially like how kirby gets annoyed when meta knight tries fighting him because mk is so obsessed with getting stronger. like yeah! let him get mad.

in general any fics that write kirby as a person who has flaws like any other person instead of “cinnamon roll who could do no wrong” (eugh) get a thumbs up
