A Moral Dilemma! Question!

Let's say there is a trucker. An average man. Kind enough, did okay in school, loves his wife and misses her like you wouldn't believe every time he has to go. Misses his little girl even more. HATES he's missing the early years of her life. First day to school, getting her up and brushing her hair into pigtails, making pancakes like his Pa used to make. The works.

But the economy is shit. Him and his wife have to work. Make ends meet. They're DESPERATE to get out of Gotham. Move somewhere boring. Safe.

But... well, places like that cost money. Kids cost money. And he did OKAY in school. Not a lot of jobs out there for "Okay" guys from Gotham.

His cousin finds him a route though. A solid job. Really pulled through when push came to shove and things were looking bad. Like he might have to take up that offer to Goon. Now he's a trucker.

And his route? Well the half way point is Amity Park. He stops to stay the night every time. Never really STAYS, has heard they got themselves a Cape and such, but? It is what it is. He's from Gotham. He minds his business. Parks on the outskirts of town to avoid getting hit.

Doesn't realize, he's getting SOAKED in Ectoplasm every time he's in town.

And this trucker? Not the healthiest man. He wishes he could be. But life on the road is not exactly conducive to fresh fruit and leafy greens. He eats more grease and sugar then his doctor would EVER recommend. In fact, has specifically warned him not too.

But some days you just need a warm meal. You miss your kid, your wife, your bed. And you know it'll be days before you can see any of them. But at least there is pancakes.

You can pretend you're eating with your family. Or at least, let the coffee be warm enough for the two of you. God, but the poor man is tired.

And as he gets close to Gotham?

Breaking News!

The Joker. AGAIN. The trucker cringes, horror filling him. What poor soul has that mad man hurt NOW? When will it end? Him and his wife are so close to getting the hell out. Thinking Kansas. His wife has been joking about pie baking competit-

No.

Oh God No.

There, on the screen, tears streaming down her beautiful face? Is the love of his life. His best friend. His EVERYTHING. And in her arms, trying so, so hard to be quiet. To muffle her terror born sobs... is his little girl. One pigtail torn from its srunchie, blood on her tiny face.

The trucker knows how this story ends.

Batman will try. He ALWAYS tries. And sometimes... sometimes that's enough. But he knows the odds here. His family are in front. Stars of this sick show. The trucker can't breathe. His heart is pounding, too hard for a man of his health.

He's not young. Should be on blood pressure meds he simply cant afford. Is panicked by a terror few should ever suffer. And? What runs in his family, strikes true. It feels so far away, the pain in his chest. He... No, he can't.

He can't.

His family.

He can't die. Leave them. They're in danger! They can't die like this. So close to freedom. Happiness. They... the..y.. ca..n..t...

THEY WON'T. HE REFUSES.

So! Here in comes the QUESTION! As you sit, watching this terrified child call for her father, ripped from her begging mothers arms, you see a green opaque man full body tackle the Joker.

You watch his eyes visible glow and change color, fight a visible STRUGGLE, like jeckle and Hyde, for control of his body. Between the monster known as Joker and what seems to be? The little girl's newly Meta father.

The Father wins.

You watch the Bat arrive with the police. Thank the man and say he can release Joker into custody. See the EXACT moment the Meta realizes something. Turns to look at his daughter, then his wife. Looks back at the commissioner.

Says "No".

Is he right to do this? To Possess the Joker, as a life sentence, to insure the safety of others? He is perfectly will to sit that life in a jail cell. Knows he will never be allowed to roam free again. But! The Joker is contained.

Is this Right? Or merely emotionally satisfying?

Getting Father's Attention

Summary: Nacht gets a day off and some unusual time with his daughter, Merel. Genre: fluff Word count: ~650

A day off.

In the past, when he worked as a Magic Knight, such a thing was quite rare. In the present, where he worked as an administrator in King Fuegoleon’s personal council, vacation days were still a rarity, though a little more common since Nacht no longer had to deal with the daily chaos of the Black Bulls.

Nacht’s plan for that particular day off was getting absorbed in a book. It came recommended by Nozel. It was a tale about a prince learning to re-evaluate his position and stance on tradition while deciding which young lords of his generation to make his court of advisors.

With a pot of coffee and plate of plain biscuits set out for him on a side table and a full couch to lounge on as he read, Nacht was ready to lose himself in another world.

[It is often said—]

“Father!” Merel’s chipper voice rang out. Nacht glanced up just in time to see Merel bounding over to his couch. “I forgot to tell you ‘good morning’ at breakfast. So good morning!” She leaned across the side of the couch and pecked Nacht on the head.

Ever the affectionate child she was.

“Good morning to you, Merel.” Nacht gave Merel’s head a quick pat. The girl giggled and then skipped out of the study, off to enjoy her own day.

Nacht continued to read the novel. He’d only gotten a couple pages into the story and met a couple new characters when he noticed a figure in his periphery. Turning his head, Nacht found that Merel returned.

“M-Mother left for work already… And I…” Merel looked to be on the verge of tears. “Help me tie my hair, please?” She held up a comb and her favorite hair ribbons.

Nacht did his best to properly style Merel’s hair while also reading the novel on the side. It was made harder by Merel talking about how Mereoleona invited her on a hiking excursion and Nacht gave short grunts and hums to reply to her rambling. Merel’s pigtails came out loose and the ribbons were lopsided compared to how Josele did them, but Merel still beamed and gave Nacht another kiss on the head as thanks before bouncing away.

And so Nacht’s reading session continued. He got more time with the book, finishing the first chapter, before Merel once again came into the room.

“What is it this time, Merry?”

“Um, I can’t find my schoolbag…” Merel poked the tips of her pointed fingers together as she whispered. “Can I borrow one of the devils to help me look?”

“Certainly. You know they’d be more than happy to help,” answered Nacht. With only a thought, Walgner’s tiny form appeared. He picked that devil in particular since he seemed to have a fondness for Merel. “Now run along you two and find that schoolbag.”

“Thanks Father!” Merel shouted as she and Walgner left.

Not a page later, Merel was back.

“Found it! It was on the hook in my closet. Tee hee! I can’t believe I lost it after putting it where it’s supposed to go!”

Again and again, Merel returned to the study…

“Father, you should know that the gardener arrived to do his usual clean up!”

And made Nacht paused in his reading.

“My hair came undone again… Sorry…”

He wasn’t mad at all the interruptions.

“Clover wrote back to me, Father! I can’t read their penmanship though…”

It was amusing, if also a bit puzzling, to see Merel so needy out of the blue.

“Father, how do you spell ‘auxiliary’?”

By the time lunch rolled around, Nacht hadn’t even finished the fourth chapter. And there were nearly thirty in the book. Perhaps he’d need to set a reading schedule to slowly work his way through the story, rather than hope to binge it all that day…

Deep Shaman (Shaman Archetype)

The power of the ocean is not one to be trifled with, and shamans in particular are well-aware of the power of water and its spirits. However, the traditional spirits of waves tend to grant powers more useful for those that dwell on land primarily, such as the ability to breathe underwater. While this is useful for such surface-dwellers, it is not so much for the aquatic races.

Deep shamans, as they are known, instead ask for a modified version of the pact with the waves, gaining abilities that more suit their aquatic nature. Additionally, many of their abilities that are not replaced are instead enhanced underwater.

These are the shamans that call upon the power of deep water, where the light does not touch. Indeed, many also revere the goddess Besmara, honoring her former aspect as a spirit of the sea, before her worship transformed her into the goddess of piracy and sea monsters.

While technically terrestrial shamans can make similar pacts, they have more difficulty, since their spirit-granted powers no longer grant them the ability to survive or swim at speed in the depths, requiring they use traditional magic to supplement those losses of abilities.

Naturally, their focus on the depths means that these shamans universally form a bond with a spirit of the waves. What’s more, they also must take an aquatic animal as their spirit familiar, which does mean they need special considerations when carrying the creature on land, such as an aquarium ball.

Many of the hexes these shamans use are modified by their connection to the depths, such as weakening the strength of those harmed by the chill, and entangling foes in water with their damaging water hexes. Additionally, the crashing wave hex, which normally enhances water spells, also applies to their spirit powers and hexes that utilize water.

They also gain two new hexes, which replace the hexes that hide them in mist or let them peer through murky water. Instead, they gain the power to control the buoyancy of themselves and others, letting them swim with ease and making others rise or sink at their whim. The other hex lets them regain the ability to breath and swim underwater since they do not get it naturally, but it also lets them resist water pressure much more easily as well.

Other shamans of the waves can push foes away with a touch, blasting them forcefully with water. For a deep shaman, however, the injuries are much more severe than the nonlethal blast, and much more forceful. What’s more, instead of quenching flame with their weapons, they use water to increase the mass and force of their weapon, striking harder.

Meanwhile, their mastery of water no longer automatically gives them swimming speed and the ability to breathe underwater. However, they do gain the ability to sense vibrations in the water, and their blast of freezing cold water becomes stronger and farther-reaching while in the water.

Rather than turn into an elemental, these shamans instead turn into a brine dragon, the epitome of elemental water in dragon form, a form they can maintain for hours, or indefinitely if they remain below the surface of the water.

This is one of the more fun ways that an archetype modifies another character option choice, as it makes the waves spirit, which one would think would be very useful for an aquatic character, into something that does not provide redundant or useless abilities to such sea-dwelling characters. It even has an option so that landbound races can still use it. As for its utility, it provides much the same as the standard waves spirit, but makes them much more potent in their preferred turf. As a final note, I recommend also supplementing this archetype with the aquarium ball item from Familiar Folio, as well as the expanded underwater rules from Aquatic Adventures, the same book this archetype comes from.

It would be erroneous to assume that these shamans are of a higher rank or class than other shamans of the wave. It is merely that they express their powers in different ways. However, the spirits of water that they bond with might have different personalities compared to others, perhaps being less relatable or knowable compared to those that see the sun, assuming there is any difference at all.

The frozen seas of the world of Akkus are patrolled by all sorts of deadly arctic predators, including the insectile ursikkas. However, beneath its surface lies aquatic folk of various races that rarely ever venture above the ice except to hunt. These cultures are often led or advised by mystics and shamans with a particularly impressive command of the water around them.

Perhaps derived from a wealthy sailor or pirate captain, the shabti Tuvi’tib has always been fascinated by the sea, and had an affinity for its depths and the creatures that live there. However, even being an otherworldly facsimile, they still need air. To that end, they sought out a spirit of the water to bond with.

Seeking answers about a curious artifact, the party must brave the depths to find a powerful merfolk shaman who might have the answers they are looking for. However, the shaman is in self-imposed exile, and may react violently to the intrusion.

Dutch and Flemish Childrenʼs Media - Part 3: Studio 100

Part 1: Books - Part 2: TV - Part 4: The Rest

When youʼre studying a language you often want to learn something about a corresponding culture as well, however, I have always had trouble finding resources on things meant for kids. Childrenʼs books are rarely mentioned in literature lists and nobody really wants to talk about the songs they listened to as a child.

This series will be dedicated to childrenʼs media in the Dutch language. Because of my own age most things I say will mainly be relevant for children born in the late nineties or early zeroes. (But thatʼs probably the biggest part of Tumblrʼs demographic anyway.) If you think I missed something, feel free to add it yourself or send me a message and I’ll edit this post.

Studio 100 is a Belgian company producing Childrenʼs media (mainly in Dutch) and I think itʼs fair to say that every Flemish and Dutch child has grown up with multiple Studio 100 productions. I will mention the productions that I think are well known and exceptionally well known productions get a * behind the name. I will try to make this extensive up to 2010 (but newer productions might be included anyway), which will be the productions that the biggest part of Tumblrʼs demographic would be familiar with.

Amika

Iʼm not sure how well known this is, but someone mentioned it and I have watched it. Anyway. This is basically a series about horses. Our main character Merel loves horses and manages to get a job at a equestrian facility, her father is against it because her mother died after a fall from a horse. The manège is owned by an absolutely horrible rich™ family. The title character Amika is a fully misunderstood horse that is threatened to be put down.

Het Huis Anubis*

Let me tell you that this was a big hit (but I somehow never watched it). This series is a mystery programme. The plot is about a group of students living together in a house where they discover a big mystery on the attic. Meanwhile, usual teenage drama goes on too.

K3*

K3 is a singing group consisting of 3 women. (Originally Karen, Kristel and Kathleen, hence the name.) While they are a singing group, theyʼve also made a couple of movies and television programmes. Currently none of the original members is still part of the group. Stuff from them I think you should check out:

Songs: Oya Lélé, Mama Sé, 10.000 Luchtballonnen (one from each composition of the group) and Alle Kleuren, Toveren, Verliefd, Heyah Mama, Loko Le and Pina Colada;

Movies and Series: K3 en het Magische Medaillon (superhero movie) and Hallo K3 (sitcom).

Kabouter Plop

A series about a couple of gnomes/leprechauns(there’s no one-on one translation, but you get the gist). I think you could technically call it a sitcom? Most of the characters only have one personality trait and the plots usually revolve around them learning to work together even though their personalities clash. Even though this is a series multiple songs have been recorded by the cast, the best known being De Kabouterdans.

Mega Mindy

We had female superheroes before it was cool. The main character is Mieke, a young woman working as a local police officer. She has a non returned crush on her colleague Toby and her boss is a complete idiot. She lives with her grandparents for unexplained reasons, and her grandfather is an inventor. Every episode some criminal tries to steal/commit fraud/destroy the world/etc. Because the police is very incompetent Mieke usually has to use one of her grandfathers inventions to discover the villain and then has to transform into her super alter ego Mega Mindy (Ironically Toby does have a crush on Mega Mindy.) and save the day. Apart from the series some movies has been released (in which apparently Toby also gets a super alter ego) and a couple of songs. Apart from the theme song Mega Mindy Tijd is also a well known song.

Piet Piraat

A series about a group of pirates, they are constantly looking for treasure, but thatʼs about all the pirate things they do. The entire series takes place on the ship, so thereʼs not a lot of action though.

Samson en Gert*

A series about a talking dog, and his owner Gert (who is also the owner of Studio 100 btw) and their friends. Many of the plots revolve around someone who made a mistake and tried to cover it up with bigger disasters as a result.

Spring

A soap taking place around a dancing school. It’s a coming-of-age story with love and friendship.

Musicals

Studio 100 is also a musical producer and I’m pretty sure all musicals have been professionally recorded too! Which means that basically Studio 100 musicals were my first intro to stage musicals. In the early 2000 most musicals were fairytale retellings, but nowadays the musicals have more original stories. I own the dvd’s of Doornroosje (sleeping beauty (with K3) and probably my favourite), De 3 Biggetjes (Three little Piglets (with K3)) and De Kleine Zeemeermin (The Little Mermaid) and if you ever come across a recording of them I really recommend you watch them. (I also have a foggy memory of seeing Sneeuwwitje (Snow White) on TV once or twice and from what I remember it was pretty good too. Also on the K3 YouTube channel you can find the Alice in Wonderland musical apparently). For most of these musicals you can at least find the soundtrack on Spotify.

Finnish Followers Please Help?

I found Something on YouTube, but I don’t know what it is because I can’t speak Finnish! I just know that it’s Lord of the Rings.

It’s a playlist of songs: Ryhmäteatterin Taru Sormusten Herrasta

I think @kultsipippeli recommended I look that name up?

The playlist contains Merelle, a song that was used in Hobitit (and that I love!)

Yet it also contains a bunch of songs that didn’t appear in the miniseries (at least not that I remember) including a Tom Bombadil song (hooray!) and a jazzy Lament for Gandalf song.

Is this the soundtrack for the old stage show that Hobitit was inspired by? Or....?

55. Ik heb tenminste een fiets

30/03/2020

Het is 15:11 en ik heb college in 20 minuten, dus ik zie wel hoe ver ik kom met deze blogpost. Ik luister voor deze 20 minuten nog steeds naar Slow Pride Month (we gaan verder met Hayley Kiyoko’s Sleepover) en Sanne is inmiddels al meer dan een uur in Nederland.

Gisteren heb ik niet al te veel gedaan. Ik heb wel B&T weer bestudeerd en nu ging het over poppen en Shakespeare’s The Tempest (it makes sense, I promise) en ik moest denken aan de engste Avatar aflevering: The Puppetmaster. Je weet wel, die Halloween aflevering met het bloedsturen. Aangezien de hele aflevering gaat over het weghalen van lichamelijk autonomie, moet ik het misschien gebruiken voor mijn werkstuk. Hmmm 🤔.

Ah, mijn leraar is er, dus ineens veranderde mijn scherm, want Zoom doet automatisch full screen. We gaan dus over een kwartiertje of zo beginnen.

(Ah, King Princess’s bekendste nummer: 1950. Hierdoor kent Harry Styles haar muziek.)

Anyway, B&T. Ik weet dat jullie niet veel hebben aan mijn geblabber over Avatar en Doctor Who en wat dan ook in relatie tot de stof, maar het laat alleen maar zien dat het interessant is en dat ik linken kan leggen met entertainmentmedia. Addy zou trots op me zijn.

Dus dat was mijn dag. Ik had wel weer Lulu’s salade gemaakt, want ik had nog over.

Die aardappelen zijn niet van mij. Even een segway: ik zit nu aan de instant noodles en Kath en Sophia eten vegan burgers in de keuken. Alsnog: een culinair verschil. Ik kwam de keuken binnen en alle groenten stonden mooi gesneden klaar en de soja-erweten vega burgers met vega kaas lagen in de pan. En dan ik zit met de instant noodles te klooien.

Terug naar het verhaal.

In de avond kwam Sanne langs om afscheid te nemen. Ze had allerlei spullen in de gang gezet, net zoals Delaney, maar ze had voor mij dingen aan de kant gezet: hagelslag, rooibos thee, chocolade muesli en... fietssleutels!

Yeah, Sanne had een fiets geleend van Nina, een Nederlandse student (toevallig van de RU) die met de Parijse vlucht een week geleden naar huis is gegaan. Nina heeft waarschijnlijk gerealiseerd dat ze niet terug gaat komen, dus ze had de fiets verkocht aan iemand genaamd Simon.

(Panic! At The Disco’s The End of All Things! Maar het staat dus op shuffle.)

Nou, Simon kwam de fiets dus ophalen bij Sanne, maar hij bleek te groot te zijn. Toen schreef Nina naar Sanne dat ze de fiets dan maar gewoon gratis weg kan doen, dus nu heb ik een fiets. Het is geen geweldige fiets, volgens Sanne, maar beter een fiets dan geen fiets.

Geen idee waar ik nu naar toe zou moeten, though. Toen Sanne gisteren afscheid kwam nemen van Kath, Sophia en Anouk (want die is hier regelmatig), kregen we het nieuws dat de Sloveense regels worden aangescherpt. Blijkbaar zijn Slovenen toch niet zo netjes als gedacht. Hier is er ook nog massale drukte in weekenden, zoals in Nederland. Als reactie komt de Sloveense overheid dus met sterkere maatregelen: mensen mogen dus niet meer in groepen naar buiten. Eerst was het maximaal 3 personen, nu maximaal 1. Verder mogen mensen niet meer buiten hun gemeenten komen, tenzij er geen bepaalde voorzieningen in de gemeenten zijn. Ook moeten mensen nu verplicht een mondkap (of een sjaal als je geen mondkapje hebt) en handschoenen aan in openbare overdekte plaatsen, zoals supermarkten.

Pfoe.

Toch wel handig, want nu kan ik zwaardere boodschappen op de fiets doen. Ik had een dag last van die fles wasmiddel. Yup, zo zwak ben ik nu eenmaal. Heb dus wel veel schouderoefeningen gedaan.

Dus ja. Dat was Sanne. Het was wel raar. Sophia vroeg ook al of het raar voelde en toen antwoordde ik van wel. Ik ging er nu eenmaal wel vanuit dat we dit avontuur samen zouden beginnen en eindigen. Dan alsnog, niemand had een pandemie verwacht.

Nou jongens, de les begint nu, dus dat is het voor nu. Oh God, jongens, mijn leraar heeft green screen en hij zit dus op een tropisch strand.

16:31 en we hebben eventjes 10 minuten pauze en iemand had zijn camera aangezet:

De les was om iets over 17:00 klaar, maar ik moest Lulu eventjes helpen met iets. De muziek is ook terug, maar ik had The End Of All Things op repeat staan, vandaar dat de recs stiller werden. Na deze keer ga ik verder. Zou ik Top 5 albums toevoegen aan 40. Yuè’s recommendations voor zelf-isolatie!?

Oké, waar was ik? Oh, ja, Sanne kwam dus gedag zeggen en daarna ging ze naar appartement 3 om ook afscheid van Aga te nemen. We zijn weer terug naar 8 mensen in het huis. Tereza heeft nu heel appartement 1 voor haar alleen.

Ik heb mijn Thai opgegeten en toen ging ik terug naar mijn kamer. Eigenlijk had ik eventjes geen zin in weer een avond drinken en bordspellen. Waar had ik wel zin in? Videogames! Evelien doet aan tijdreizen (soort van vals spelen, maar het is chill), dus zij was de eerste van onze vaste Animal Crossing groep die de grotere winkel kreeg. Natuurlijk gingen we dat plunderen!

“Plunderen”? Eh, we nodigen elkaar constant uit om elkaars winkels leeg te roven 🤷🏻‍♀️.

(Catey Shaw’s stem klinkt zo goed in Night Go Slow. Dit is het enige nummer van haar die ik ken. Misschien moet ik meer gaan luisteren. Iemand had me dit nummer aangeraden en ik weet niet meer of het Dani of Floris was. Of iemand anders. Merel?)

Het was ook tijd voor een vallende sterrenregen, dus we hebben met z’n 4en een uur lang stilgestaan op het plein om sterren te vangen. Ja. Dat was dus mijn avond.

Ze zijn inmiddels wel gewend aan dit soort rare dingen. Je moet eens weten hoeveel mam aan moet horen over de Sims. (Ik: ”Mijn man is weer zwanger van een alien drieling!” Mam: 😐😐😐).

Echt entertainment. Uiteindelijk ging ik ook maar weer naar AmazingPhil kijken terwijl hij aan het streamen was, want soms was het wel saai om te wachten op alle vallende sterren.

Wie heeft alcohol nodig in quarantaine als je ook een Switch en een goede internetverbinding kan hebben?

Rond 22:00 was ik wel weer klaar met spelen. Ging ik eens op tijd naar bed? Natuurlijk niet. Ik besloot onverwachts om het hele tweede seizoen van Most Popular Girls In School te kijken, die webserie met de namaak Barbie poppen.

(Om eerlijk te zijn past Casual Affair van Panic! At The Disco niet geweldig goed op deze lijst, maar het is nog steeds een slow jam.)

Ik was van plan om er aan te beginnen, maar 2 uur later had ik alle 17 afleveringen gekeken. Dat zijn er 5 meer dan seizoen 1 en blijkbaar heeft seizoen 3 rond de 28 afleveringen, dus daar moet ik even voor gaan zitten.

Dus ja, rond half 1 was het bedtijd. Ging ik slapen? Natuurlijk niet. Mijn lichaam is nog steeds te gewend aan wintertijd, de superieure tijd. Ik heb toen ineens de hele Heartstopper: DBH AU gelezen, want waarom niet? Ik heb een link naar deze korte webcomic in de reblog tag gezet (samen met nog wat andere dingen).

(Keiynan Lonsdale’s Kiss The Boy is eigenlijk ook overplayed, dus misschien gaat deze er ook van af.)

“Maar Yuè, ik weet niet wat Detroit: Become Human is?” Cool. Ik ook niet. Het enige wat ik vooraf van DBH wist is dat het een interactieve videogame is over robots die “deviant” worden. Het leuke aan deze webcomic is dat de lezers dus ook de keuzes hebben gemaakt in het verhaal, dus als je zin hebt om iets te lezen dat totaal voortkomt uit keuzes van het publiek, dan is dit iets voor jou! (Ik klink net als een reclame.)

“Maar Yuè, ik weet niet wat Heartstopper is?” 1) You should. Het staat op mijn 40. Yuè’s recommendations voor zelf-isolatie! lijst. 2) Ach, je hoeft het niet te kennen om dit verhaal te begrijpen.

En toen ging ik slapen, maar ik viel maar niet in slaap. Leuk. Heb ik eindelijk het idee om mijn oogjes toe te doen, gaat het niet. En wegens de tijdverandering, was ik tot half 5 (😱) wakker. Een paar dagen geleden was het half 4 geweest en dat klinkt minder dramatisch! Ik heb zelfs nog met Sanne geappt. Ze had vast niet verwacht om rond half 4 een bericht van me te krijgen, maar ja.

Sanne had uiteindelijk toch een taxi kunnen regelen, dus ze hoefde niet te lopen. Haar moeder had een hotelovernachting op de foute avond geboekt, dus dat werd het ook niet. Toen ze wilden annuleren, bleek dat het hotel niet eens open was. Wow, oké.

(Mary Lambert’s She Keeps Me Warm is anders dan in haar YouTube versie. Ik vind de YouTube versie beter, maar ja.)

Maar ja, Sanne was om 4 uur met de bus naar Wenen vertrokken en rond iets voor 8 kwamen ze daar aan. Ze vlogen rond 12 en om half 2 was ze terug op Nederlandse bodem. Uiteindelijk waren er 9 mensen die zich op hadden gegeven voor deze vlucht.

Ergens viel ik in slaap en ik werd rond half 12 wakker. Ach. Slaap. Geweldig. Ik had het gewoon zo mega heet dat ik niet kon slapen. Daar had ik een paar weken geleden ook al last van en ik weet niet waar het vandaan komt.

Tuurlijk heb ik vandaag alleen maar Animal Crossing gedaan. Aangezien ik gisteren aan B&T heb gewerkt, lig ik weer op schema met mijn vakken, dus ik heb de tijd om even Animal Crossing te spelen.

Haha. “Even”. Vanaf morgen laat mijn Switch zien hoeveel uur ik aan dit spel heb gespendeerd, want dat kan pas na 10 dagen. Eef had 80 uur gespeeld in de eerste 10 dagen, dus ik zie wel.

(Ik probeer mijn main Pride Month playlists musical-vrij te houden (daar heb ik Pride Month - musical edition voor), maar met A Soft Place To Land heb ik een beetje valsgespeeld door Sara Bareilles’s versie erop te zetten.)

Toen noodles gemaakt, begonnen met dit te schrijven, de les GLINT... en nu zijn we hier. Full circle.
