What has Noah Schnapp done wrong, please?
1) He posted on Instagram that he's scared. If you see the rise in antisemitism recently, maybe that's not completely unwarranted?
2) He gave an Instagram video a like that was mocking Hamas and college campuses supporting them. That's how Israelis literally deal with terror (which they've gotten plenty of lately), through humor. Maybe stop telling them how they're (not) supposed to react to to their own trauma if you're not going to help them?
3) He was *seen* with "Hamas = ISIS" (a common pro-Israeli slogan) and "Zionism is sexy" stickers. He literally did nothing but hold them up. We don't know what he did with them, it was just a video that went viral....
Geeez....How can people make mountains out of such molehills?
Melissa and Susan's comments were far worse. Melissa made Holocaust comparisons, and Susan said she indulges hated against the Jews, because we get "a taste of what Islamophobia feels like".
So yeah, maybe Noah isn't getting dismissed because he did nothing nearly as bad? Not to mention that a lot of staff from Stranger Things has also come out in support for Israel.
And fyi: He's Jewish and gay, two groups who overwhelmingly (I'm talking more than 80%) support Israel. Take it from a fellow Jewish gay..... His case is nothing exceptional
