the thing is. its makes sense, dosent it?
jonny dville. jonny who was always closer with nastya. nastya, that knew exactly which buttons to press to make him tick, what to say. yet he was never really mad at her. jonny, who tried to pull out his heart and shot himself beacuse he knew it wont stick, or maybe to check if it will. Jonny, who laughed as it did stick. so when nastya, his little sister, wanted to go out, leave behind the thing that was most boring for him- life
how could he tell her no?

Reasons Why I Think TFP Jack is Underrated:
Welcome to my organized bullet list of why I think Jack is cool. I used to think he was boring too, but now I think he's the goat and here's why:
-He has Main Character Energy, but he's more snarky than most cliche main characters
In fact, he is a petty king:
-He doesn't wanna be on Team Prime at first, but eventually accepts it...
...He then proceeds to BURN Airachnid's ship to the GROUND with a stupid survival kit for babies
-HE DEFEATED THE ALIEN SPIDER QUEEN WITH NOTHING BUT A LIGHTER AND A POCKET KNIFE, BRO
-HE WAS DONE WITH HER BULLSHIT LOL
-Plus he tricked Silas by pretending to beg for mercy, when really, he was stealing his walkie talkie.
-Jack is boring, BUT the fact that Jack has nothing special about him IS his superpower; Miko has the Apex Armor and her brave personality, Raf has genius level computer smarts, and Jack has PURE SPITE. It's beautiful.
-He has zero skills, but he'll figure out how to defeat his enemies anyway, SOLEY because he's tired and doesn't get paid enough for this shit.
-For example, in one of the Titan Magazine comics, Jack literally kicks Silus in the balls
Evidence:
Iconic✨
Apex armor? Cybertronian technology?
Screw that. How about I KICK you in the balls?l
-A true legend
-He's also a mess though, and I relate so hard
-He's so petty he talked two aliens into helping him cheat at street racing to piss off his classmate
-His romantic subplot is treated like a complete joke, and I love that. Normally, the Main Character✨ is awkward, but gets the girl in the end. Not Jack, though. Nope. He just constantly looks stupid in front of Sierra, nothing ever happens between them, and Arcee is just watching with popcorn as his life falls apart. It's hilarious.
Also, if I'm correct, isn't the last time we see Sierra when she sees Arcee's homoform, and thinks Jack has a girlfriend, and then Jack is like "She's my mom😅." And Sierra's all like: "Your mom looks good in leather😐...on your bike😐😐😐😐..." Maybe I'm wrong, but if that's the case, it's funny. Jack is a simp and it gets him nowhere.
-His sarcasm works perfectly with Arcee's sarcastic attitude.
-Also Tailgate is voiced by Josh Keaton (Jack's voice actor) in the flashbacks, so I headcanon that Jack reminds Arcee of Tailgate, and that's why she has such a soft spot for him.
Tailgate and Arcee's dialogue had the same vibe as her and Jack's
Also, it gives more context to why she was so scared to lose him when Airachnid showed up. It would've literally been like losing Tailgate all over again.
-Jack is Team Prime's designated Good Ideas Guy
It was Jack's idea to hijack the spacebridge to send him to Cybertron
It was also his idea to drain the dark energon out of The Nemesis when it came alive and froze everyone
-I'm probably just projecting, he has generalized anxiety disorder vibes
-I feel like he prefers a comfortable, predictable life because he gets nervous easily
-He's always the first to freak out, and overthink, and Arcee always has to calm him down
-And she's so patient with him it's so sweet😱
-I agree the writing behind his existence is meh, and a lot of the cool stuff about him is probably unintentional, but I don't care, so take that!
Anyway, the moral of the story is:
Jack is just an angry little harmonica boy. Leave him alone. He's trying his best😭
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

the ppl who go "Ew they are siblings" To jonny and nastya ship 😡😡😡 I dont even particularly ship them, and I do like the sibling dynamic. But they are NEVER called siblings canonically and even though they have the same "mum" ... so do ashes, ivy, and brian! So people deleting the ship name off the chart annoys me!!
ALSO. listen. The mechs are completely immoral. Do you think, if Jonny and Nastya wanted to share a smooch, that the concept of pseudo incest would stop them?? Now I don't think jonny and nastya are particularly involved, but they have been on that ship together for MILLENNIA. They've probably tried SOMETHING over the years of boredom.
NO BECAUSE I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE
If we’re gonna do that with Jonny/Nastya and then turn around and ignore that Aurora is Carmilla’s daughter then WHY BOTHER. There’s no point!!! They aren’t related and they never explicitly say anything about seeing each other as siblings, that is all just fan interpretation.
It’s like when people make those pseudo father/son or father/daughter relationships with two grown ass characters and then get mad at people for shipping them when those people don’t subscribe to the same mindset. They’re adults, not related, and don’t call themselves family in the slightest, so what is the bother?

Finally got my grubby little paws on the Admech codex and oh boy are our detachments bad.
Data-Psalm Conclave's rule feels to me like the meta with breacher spam being so necessary for our army, that -1 ap at half range will shred on heavy arc rifles
Rad-Zone Corps is definitely my favorite, both for the meme (legalize nuclear bombs), and it just feels the most generally applicable with it's stratagems imo. Although Cohort Cybernetica is a close second (Love me some big punchy robots) I just wish it's army rule had a bit more. Maybe giving vehicle units a general buff on top of giving Kastelans Doctrina Imperatives.
Overall we're still bad, terrible even, then again what do I know, I'm just some rando.
Sorry for the rant post, I promise more painting pictures are coming I've just been in a motivation valley for a bit and needed a bit of time off from painting. I did just get some knight Armigers as well as my very own tall boi (Sydonian Skatros) in the mail so expect to see them soon-ish.

So with the new trailer for the Mech shorts, I do want to rant a bit about Chronosteel's apparent absorption role in the series.
I'm not ranting about the channeling because I honestly have no idea how that'll work, if it's even separate from Chronosteel's ability to absorb.
So in the one shot where Kai and Cole use each other's powers, I want to note that it seems like Kai commands Earth on his own and Cole commands fire. It's not that Kai is controlling the Fire in Cole's mech or Cole's controlling the Earth in Kai's mech.
Hence the "Now I know what it feels like to be you!"
And we see that when they use these powers, those powers come from an arm from the other's mech now placed on their own.
Meaning that there is probably Chronosteel built into the arms of the mech. (At the very least. For all we know Cole's mech also has Chronosteel in the legs or something.)
(As well as possibly Chronosteel in the controls? I'm not entirely sure how the using powers from an arm connected to your mech will work out)
And that also means that Kai and Cole at the very least (don't know if Sora did this as well) let the Chronosteel absorb parts of their powers.
Definitely nowhere near the level of absorption that happened with the Time Twins, resulting in a permanent loss of power and the Chronosteel being a seemingly infinite source of that power, but more likely using the Chronosteel as a temporary and finite source of elemental powers.
(Though I am also curious as to how and if Sora's power will be channeled/absorbed through Chronosteel in the shorts)
