getting out of your car, you ran towards your team in the parc fermé as they kept congratulating you for your great result. as your team's engineers and mechanics kept patting your back, your eyes met your boyfriend's. you hugged him strongly as if he would slip away from you if you let him go.
"i'm so proud of you my love. you're the best." he kissed the top of your helmet before walking away to get your interview done.
you watched lando get interviewed by jenson button, as he finished p3. he'd always been comfortable doing media work, something you definitely needed to improve. you dreaded this moment, jenson button was one of your favourite drivers when you were younger and you had a little celebrity crush on him back then. of course, it was no longer the case, but you were terrified of embarrassing yourself in front of him, even more so knowing cameras would be filming the moment in 4k.
lando went to congratulate you after finishing his interview while you were waiting for perez to complete his. quickly, a mic was handed to you and you walked to the interview zone.
"y/n, what a lap! congratulations on the first pole of your career, hopefully the first of many..." jenson beamed.
"thank you... i hope to get more poles if i get rewarded by a jenson button interview." you were still out of breath from your lap and the excitement you felt. your nervousness dissipated a bit when jenson laughed at your attempt at a joke.
"that was a perfect lap, you think you can keep that position tomorrow for the race ?" jenson asked you.
"of course it's gonna be hard but both lando and i have the possibility of going home with a great result, maybe a 1-2. we just need to find out the best strategy and my job is just to make sure i drive perfectly."
"that you showed you can do. once again, congratulations y/n, pole sitter here in sao paulo. let's hope i get to interview you tomorrow as a race winner this time!"
"now that's good motivation, see you tomorrow." you waved at the crowd before getting your trophy and getting the pictures done.
jude was already waiting for you with a big smile on his face. he hugged you again and peppered kisses across your face.
"my pole sitter, you were brilliant today."
"thank you, i thought i would pass out after crossing the finish line."
"we need to talk about that interview though, you really want to replace me with that old man?" he raised his eyebrow questioning you.
"he's not old! i might replace you with him if you keep being mean to my main man like that..." you took a quick glance at jude, gauging his reaction.
"maybe you should ask him to take you to the restaurant that your boyfriend got you for tonight, if he'd do a better job than me.' he said feigning offence.
"mmhh you're right, i'll ask him when i see him..." you ducked jude's smack that was aimed at the back of your head and started to run away.
"my media duties are calling sorry." you ran off before jude could make you regret your words, only turning around to stick your tongue at him like a kid.
jude walked towards mclaren's motorhome to wait for you when someone started walking side by side with him.
"how long have you two been together ?"
he looked at the origin of the voice only to find jenson button.
"um, it'll be one year in december. are you planning on stealing her from me before that?" he joked with jenson.
"i don't think i could steal her from you even if i wanted to from the way she looks at you, you two are lovely. see you tomorrow mate" he patted jude's back before going his own way.
when you joined jude at mclaren's hospitality, he had a big smile attached to his face.
"what happened to you ? are you texting your other girlfriend ?" you asked, sitting down next to him
"i'm just proud of you." he wrapped his arm around your shoulders, kissing the side of your head.
he liked the fact that his little encounter would remain a secret between him and your first crush.

bowling date night with Mark and you can’t do anything but adore the man in front of you.
“You don’t have to say you love me, I just wanna tell you something. Lately you’ve been on my mind. Honey, I’d, I’d walk through fire for you. Just let me adore you. Like it’s the only thing I’ll ever do.”
You hear Mark come home after spending the day with the guys. Your puppy was barking like crazy while you could hear Mark saying hi to them.
He went to the lake with them while you and your friends went too but went home sooner. Mark stayed back to help everyone clean up.
Tonight was also date night. Almost every weekend was. No matter how late. It always happened no matter what.
“You ready, love?” Mark questioned walking into the room. “Almost…give me like five more minutes.” You say as you finish up washing your face. He smiles, while sitting down on the bed.
You and Mark went on dates almost every weekend. Either out to restaurants or just going to places like the bowling alley. The bowling alley was a personal favorite.
Seeing his face light up,as he smiles after making a strike. You couldn’t help but adore him. He was honestly the best boyfriend you can even remember having. He’s extremely sweet.
“All ready.” You take his hand, pressing a kiss into his fingers. While heading out the door Mark grabs his keys still not letting go of your hand.
The drive wasn’t to far. Mark mostly just talked about how we wanted to go to the beach again soon. He loves being out in the water. He sometimes reminds me of a man child. He gets so excited over the smallest things and it’s so adorable.
As we got to the bowling alley, we get our shoes and put our names into the board. Mark just put his as “stop sign” and you put yours “ts lover”. You and Mark always joked around with saying you were a puck bunny for him, even though you actually met Mark at a hockey game.
As the night continues, you and Mark were full of giggles and laughs. You loved nights like this. Practice and hockey free. Non of the team there. Just you and your favorite boy.
“LETS GO BABY!” Mark yells after making another strike. You giggle as he turns over all smiley. Mark sits down next to you and you put your head on his shoulder. “Wanna go get ice cream am after this?” He asks softly.
“Yeah, that sounds good.” You smiled. “We can finish this game up if you want, or we can go now. It’s up to you sweetheart.”
“We can go now if you want too.” You say turning to him. After you guys returned the shoes and got back to the car.
As the night went on it got pretty late. You and Mark were sitting outside of the ice cream shop. “The sky looks so pretty. All the stars…they are extremely bright.” You say while finishing your ice cream.

quite nights in the cut were always quiet. but when your friend group is constantly running, whether it’s from rafe & barry, shoupe, or even ward, the group was somehow always on the run in some way.
but when you weren’t, nights over at the chateau were always the perfect thing, especially with the pogues.
after what seemed to be the longest day of being with the pogues, you carried your tired body right into the chateau and into the jj’s bedroom that john b had rightfully made his best friends.
slipping off the shoes you’ve had on forever, ultimately making contact with the bed, you belly flopped onto the bed and let out a loud satisfied groan as your face hit one of the somewhat soft pillows.
the room was mild mixture of warm with the feeling of the occasional summer breeze flowing throughout the room along with the usual summer sunset peeking its way through the blinds.
jj made his way in shortly after you, you didn’t hear him coming in, only the sound of his laugh, “well if that isn’t a lovely sight!” his voice was prominent as he stood in the doorway along with the sound of the door closing behind him. a smile slowly etched its way onto your face as you rolled over onto your side and rested your hand onto your arm, “oh wouldn’t you like to see it?” you furrowed your brows before laughing.
jj made his way over to the bed as he plopped down next you and quickly made way to lay down on his back. as if it were a natural reaction, your body immediately found its way to his side and your head rested on his shoulder.
the faint sound of the water moving down the river prominent, it was the nights like these that you felt that you really took for granted.
his fingertips softly ran up and down your lower back as yours played with the shark tooth necklace that laid perfectly on his chest.
“you know y/n, i don’t say this often but i think my life would be different if you never joined me and the pogues,” he spoke out, “i mean it, there’s something about you that you’ve really brought to the group and to me.”
he looked down, you were already looking up at him, jj swore that he saw the biggest stars in your eyes. “i love you y/n. i really do.” he said, “i love you too jj, i’m so glad you came into my life, my love, my pretty boy.”
you said smiling brightly before sitting and placing a hand on the side of his place then placing a soft kiss onto his lips.
