Five Chickens

Requested by anonymous: Hey Hey! How about our 4 juniors boys from The Untamed, joined by a junior girl from the Nie clan (I think she could be Nie Huaisang's younger sister), when she saves their lives from a demon, but turns ugly during the fight. She is stubborn and so refuses their help, without realizing herself that the weapon that hit her was poisoned and she was in agony after a few days. But they manage to save her, repaying her for her earlier help. THX, have a nice day!❣️❣️❣️

Part 2

"She'll do great, she knows what she's doing." Wuxian was teasing Huaisang, with a stupid grin as he watched you and all other younglings march out into the fields. Huaisang's eyes remained trained on you and he didn't even react to Wuxian's comment, much to the man's dismay. He was right, Huaisang knew that much, and yet he couldn't help but worry about you.

This would be your first official hunt, dressed in the dark grey robes that represented your clan and a large saber in hand. Unlike him, you were much more interested in fighting and swords. If anything, you were a carbon copy of your oldest brother, Mingjue. Only differences that you were a bit less aggressive, but in now way should you be angered. You had been hunting since you were 10 years old, a talent for tracking and killing demons that gained you the title of 'the little demon of Nie'. Yet, Huaisang was worried. He didn't want to lose another on of his family members.

"It went this way!" Jing Ling's voice was booming loud, anyone near could hear it and in turn also creatures. Sizhui and Zizhen were trying to shush the boy, but getting Jingyi quiet was another task.

"I know it went this way, I'm not blind! But can you see anything here, stupid?" Jingyi screamed back before all of them froze when something loud growled behind them. With a turn of their heads, the cause of this became clear.

They supposed it was a man, but it's body was disfigured and broken. Black smoke surrounded it, pulling attention away from the obvious dangling arm and broken leg.

"Uh... demon?" Zizhen stuttered and the others nodded before jumping when the creature let out a loud roar. They ran in an instance, avoiding trees as they were chased.

"I thought there were only bunnies!" Jingyi screamed loudly as he jumped over some fallen trees, daring to look back and only screaming when he noticed how close the demon was to him. Curses flew from his mouth, which made Sizhui frown at the breaking of the rules. With another roar, they all dared to look back before slowing down. Someone had jumped on the demon, sword slashing away at the enemy as they avoided the attacks. The quartet slowed down, staring at their savior as they fought. Then, with a final blow, the demon crashed to the ground, smoke completely gone and a girl straddling the body with the sword impaled into it's chest.

"You guys run like chickens." The comment was unexpected, so much so that Sizhui couldn't help but laugh while others stared in shock. You got up, pulling your saber out of the demon's body and watching as it turned to ashes before you walked closer to the quartet. It was then that they realized that you were Nie (Y/n), if not for the saber it was for the smirk you wore that sent shivers down their spines and reminded them of Nie Mingjue. You walked closer before pausing right in front of them, saber now thrown over your shoulder as you placed your other hand on your hip.

'You're hurt." Sizhui noticed the long scratch on your leg, cutting through your robes and revealing your leg along with the wound. You followed his gaze, looking at your leg with confusion before sighing softly as you tore a lower part of your robes before lifting the robes up to your hip.

"Cover up!" Jin Ling and Jingyi yelled in sync, all of them turning away from seeing you practically naked or at least like they believed. You paused for a few seconds before rolling your eyes, continuing to wrapping your leg to keep the blood loss to a minimum. Then you lowered your robes once again and looking back at the boys.

"Let's find something else to hunt, you chickens." You spoke as you brushed past them, walk turning into a sprint as you got sight of another creature. The four boys couldn't help but follow, although it was with slight hesitance in their steps.

"Oi, chickens!" There rang a collective groan from the group as they noticed you approaching, or more specifically from Jin Ling and Jingyi as they all turned to face your approaching figure.

"Stop calling us that!" Jingyi called out, clearly annoyed as he glared at you. You didn't react to the glare, instead you just smiled at Sizhui as he greeted you. He was probably the only once that didn't mind the nickname too much, he was used to worse kind of nicknames at this point (Wuxian being the cause of this).

You stopped once you were next to the group, sighing loudly before looking at the object in Sizhui's hands. It was a child's toy, yet he held it with such care and you couldn't help but wonder why.

"Did you buy that here?" You asked, pointing at the object and Sizhui looked down before nodding. He opened his hands fully to reveal the toy, which now was clearly shown to be a butterfly. It was pretty and reminded you of the toys that you had as a child, not that you cared much for those when you were young as you preferred to play with the swords of your brother.

"Did you go to the doctor for your wounds?" Zizhen asked and you smiled at the boy, but shook your head nonetheless. You didn't see the point, it was a simple flesh wound and you were used to those.

"Are you sure that's okay?" "Yeah, I cleaned and wrapped it. It'll be fine, nothing I haven't had before." You said with another smile, not flinching in the slightest as you prodded at the wound before shrugging it off.

"What about you? You sprained your ankle, no?" You turned to Jin Ling and he looked surprised that you knew that before nodding at you, yet not speaking up besides a thank you. Right when you were about to say something else, you heard a loud shout from behind you as a man walked by with a cart full of snacks. With wide eyes, you carefully watched the sugar covered fruits and your hand was quick to move to your money pouch. You raced to the man, buying five sugar covered fruit skewers before handing the vendor his money. Then you made your way back to the group.

"Here you go, enjoy!" You smiled as you handed out the skewers to the quartet, who all took it with slight hesitation before all taking a bite. In a second, all their faces lit up as they continued to eat to the treat. You followed, carefully biting into the fruit and listening to the small crack of the sugar. With a small, you chewed on the candy with a happy sigh. It was nice to eat some sugar once in a while, even if it was super unhealthy for you. Only halfway through the apple, you suddenly felt a pain in your abdomen that tore right through your whole body. The apple clattered to the ground, shattering on impact while you held your stomach in pain as your vision blurred before turning dark.

Sizhui was the first to react as he watched you go down, his own treat joining yours on the ground as he gently laid you down. You were unconscious, but clearly still in pain as your brows furrowed. Black lines were rising above your collar, stopping right underneath your jawline and the lines were slightly raised up.

"She needs a doctor." Sizhui said and Jing Ling, surprisingly, was first to lift you up on his back, making sure that your arms were wrapped around his shoulders and that he had a firm grasp on your legs before he turned his head to the group. Zizhen was the first to speak again, leading the way to the closest doctor. Surely the doctor must've been shocked to see them run in, all of you from rather major clans, but he was quick to move as he noticed your state.

Your skin had turned pale, the black marks had grown more noticeable and your eyes were flickering open and closed every few seconds. When you were laid down on the bed, the doctor was quick to check your state as the others watched patiently for whatever was happening. The doctor was quick to start treatment, not saying a single thing as he treated you with various things like liquid medicines or cream. It took only a couple of minutes before he finished, sighing loudly before making his way over to the quartet.

"How long has she been like that?" "We don't know, we only saw her today. Before today it has been two weeks or so." Sizhui answered and the doctor nodded, jotting it down before handing them a bottle with medicine pills.

"She needs this every day, one in the morning and one in the evening." He then said, looking at them with a stern gaze while Jingyi took ahold of the medicine.

"She also needs a lot of rest for the poison to get out of her system, I even recommend helping her by making her spiritual energy circulate faster. How you do that is your and her choice." The doctor continued before turning away and continuing his previous work while Jin Ling walked back to you. You were lifted again, once again laying on his back as he made sure that you wouldn't fall.

Then all of you made your way back to the hotel, where they could hopefully warn some of the adults of your condition.

"I am not a child..." You spoke as your medicine was handed to you along with a cup of water by Jingyi, who almost looked like he didn't really want to be here. Nonetheless, you took the pill and swallowed it with a heavy sigh. Being bedridden was not your style, you hated being stuck in the same room from sunrise to sundown. The quartet visited every day to take care of you and Xichen came along every two to three days to help you to help you with your spiritual energy. Right now, the black veins had gone back down, now only near your wound like any normal infection, and it didn't hurt anymore thanks to the faster healing rate due to your spiritual energy.

"Then you would've gone to the doctor when needed. Besides, you're fourteen." Jingyi said and you pouted at him before laying back down. You pulled your blanket up before looking back towards Jingyi, patting the spot beside you. Jingyi gave you a short glare, turning around with a huff and you sighed.

"Chicken." You whispered, to which Jingyi gave you another glare before laying down anyway. You smiled at your victory, leaning your head against his shoulder before sighing again.

"Thank you for the help. You and the other boys, of course." You whispered again, but Jingyi didn't answer you and it just remained quiet in the room. Until the other three appeared, all pausing as they saw Jingyi lay beside you. You lifted your head, patting the bed softly again and causing the three to join you by sitting down near your legs while Zizhen moved to sit against the wall on your other side.

"How are you?" "Well, I'm bored. So, did you bring something to eat?" You asked, staring at Sizhui with curious eyes. He reacted by simply pulling out a pouch and opening it to reveal some hard candies that you had asked for. You sat back up, happily grabbing one and popping it into your mouth with a happy smile.

"You're the best!" You laid back down and chewed happily, laying your head against Jingyi's shoulder once again. The boys talked and you just listened to them with a smile, laughing at the comments they made. It was under weird circumstances, but you were glad you had met them and became friends.

With those thoughts, you drifted to sleep with a smile on your face.

Lan Sizhui

you were both on shared baby-sitting duties,

the little child, your cousin, bouncing happily in your lap

and the sight of you playing with the little boy,

the smile on your face

and the way that the child’s eyes light up with each song that you sing

makes Sizhui’s heart swell so much

that he can’t help but lean over and place a gentle kiss on your cheek

it startles you

a happy surprise

when you turn to look at him, still bouncing the little boy in your arms, you’re a little winded by the pure look of love when your eyes lock

you find yourself gravitating to him naturally, though this time you place a kiss right on his nose

it is clear that you both want to kiss each other very much

but there was a child,

and said child, sat in the middle of you both, has his hands covering his eyes, ears red just like a certain Lan

Lan Jingyi

the giggling around you is what makes you both break away from the kiss

first out of curiosity

then settled embarrassment

even as a senior disciple now,

Lan Jingyi was not as intimidating as his title

especially when he was caught kissing you

“jie-jie and ge-ge sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g” the young Lan disciples sing song in a circle around you, making faces and laughing as Jingyi huffs and tries to get them to settle down

the blush on your face is high and red,

you can’t help but take your long robes and cover your face with your hands

at the sight of you, Jingyi simply laughs louder,

he ignores all the teasing and pointing from the younger disciples to take you into his arms,

the taste of the hawthorn candies is sweet on your lips,

and Jin Ling’s hand is where it cradles your face

and clearly kissing on the sidelines of a marketplace is not really the place to be

but Jin Ling couldn’t help it,

not when your lips were shiny from the coating of the caramelized sugar

not when your eyes were lit up little a child at the very first bite

not when you looked absolutely adorable

the little girl’s voice is genuinely curious, pointing at the sight of you and Jin Ling, lips locked near the candy stand

the taller boy cringes, pats the little girl’s head as he takes her hand to lead her away

“no, that’s how adults eat them”

Ouyang Zizhen

Zizhen’s lips had always been a distraction to you

but when he’s kissing you,

it completely makes you forget about everything else

it’s the loud gagging noise near by that makes you break away from Zizhen’s lips

even then, he still chases after your lips naturally

and you have to catch his face with your hands to get him to open his eyes again

you both turn to the side to see none other than your younger cousins,

when the six year olds meet your eyes, the boys proceed to make even more exaggerated puking and grossed out sounds

and you huff at them, ready to go and give them lecture,

when your boyfriend’s arms wrap around your waist,

hold you back,

hold you close

his breath is warm where it tickles your neck,

“let’s go somewhere a little more private,”

Lan Wangji x reader ( Part 5)

The night at Mo mansion Wei Wuxian saw Hanguang- Jun arrived just in the moment to defend his disciples. Wei Wuxian had to run away before getting caught, but Hanguang – Jun had already suspected it could be Wei Ying. He saw Lan Wangji was staring at the darkness as he was secretly watching him from far behind. Then there was a person approached Lan Wangji. "Senior Y/N" young disciples chanted. You were glad to see Lan Wangji and all disciples were safe.

"Y/N" Wei Wuxian whispered "you are still at Cloud Recesses. It's good to see you. Hope we can meet again" he smiled to himself.

"Hanguang-Jun" you called Lan Wangji. He turned around and walked away with you.

After Lan Wangi finally brought Wei Wuxian back to Gusu he did not forget to run behind you. When you were petting rabbits he hugged you from back, giving you a heart attack. "Y/N" he purred. "Wei Ying!" you panicked ( note that - you were the only other person who knew he was real Wei Wuxian and not Mo Xuanyu after Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen then) Wei Wuxian laughed but did not release you. "Are you not happy to see me after many years? No. I'm not letting you go"

"Wei Ying, I missed you so much but..." You sighed. It wasn't that you were not happy to see him but you did not want a new rumor to add up to the ongoing list. Then, there heard some noises and Wei Wuxain dropped his hug. Less than a couple of minutes Lan Sizhui and some young disciples came.

"We can't hug because of them? " Wei Wuxian pointed young disciples with a pouty face. You were so embarrassed when young disciples were confused and said, "I'm going to the library" because you wanted to run away from the situation but Wei Wuxian immediately wanted to follow you. "I'm coming too" he said and about to touch your hand but Lan Jingyi interfered.

"Are you crazy? "he yelled at Wei Wuxain" You shouldn't be so close to Senior Y/N"

Wei Wuxian smirked. "Ah! what made you think so?"

"because Hanguang- Jun..." Lan Jingyi stepped front and was about to bluster but Lan Sizhui dragged Lan Jingyi back. "Apologize for our behavior, Senior Mo". He bowed and you tried to melt the tension by saying "Sizhui, do not be late for lunch and take everyone with you", despite you were flushing after hearing about Lan Wangji.

"Senior Y/N, we will go now" Lan Sizhui bowed you and turned to Wei Wuxain "Senior Mo, we are more than happy to escort you"

Lan Jingyi rolled his eyes. He was not delighted to walk with Wei Wuxian anywhere. Wei Wuxian could not reject the kind invitation of Lan Sizhui. He looked at you and you nodded approving the suggestion. "Y/N, will you come too?"

"I'll be there soon" you smiled before leaving the group.

Wei Wuxian was half disappointed that you did not join them, but left with Lan Sizhui. However, you could not meet him at dining hall as Wei Wuxian was then ready go to Qinghe with Lan Wangji and you met them before the exit of the Cloud Recesses instead.

"Hanguang-Jun, I'm coming with you two"

Hanguang-Jun shook his head sightly "stay".

"No' you said sternly. Wei Wuxian giggled "feisty huh?" Actually he enjoyed how you rejected Hanguang-Jun's order. Lan Wangji did not say anything but for Wei Wuxian's surprise, Lan Wangji helped you to getting on the back of a pony, and took reins of both his horse and your pony as you were no good at riding on your own.

The journey did not end at Qinghe and it went further. Everywhere Lan Wangji was in constant anxiousness that you might get hurt and made you stay at comfortable inns until he dealt with dangerous places. (exactly, he was spoiling you).

One night when you were at Qiting Tavern, you were suddenly called by Wei Wuxian. When you ran to him there was drunken Lan Wangji besides him trying to stand steady. With an absent mind Lan Wangji looked at you and passing both you and Wei Wuxain made his way to bed. Wei Wuxian looked at you and you looked at him.

"Where's he been? "You asked worriedly.

“Lan Zhan! Lan Zhan! Lan Zhan! He is very stubborn" Wei Wuxian shook his head with hands on his hips. Next, he narrated you the story of from Lan Wangji trying to give him hens to where he called you. You giggled. You knew Lan Wangji could be a baby, sometimes when he was drunk.

After bidding goodnight to Wei Wuxian, you returned to your room, but before you could fall asleep, your eyes widened as Lan Wangji came to your bed staggering. He just plonked on small bed and started cuddling. "Y/N" he cooed and snuggled closer.

"Lan Zhan" you smiled as you found him had fallen asleep while hugging you.

At Yi City Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxain had met the juniors and together they came to Tanzhou at night. Out of all shops Lan Sizhui's eyes caught a toy store where there were paper butterflies. Even though Jin Ling insulted him for fancying toys, he could not resist buying a paper toy just like the one he got in his childhood.

You saw how dearly he was holding the butterfly and could not resist buying another for him. Lan Sizhui overjoyed and for a second he forgot Gasu rules, and threw arms around you. He has grown up taller than you but still hugging you as if he was a child. "Senior Y/N"

"Is Senior Y/N his mother? They don't look related? Anyway, Senior Y/N is spoiling him. May be that's why he is behaving like a kid after all" Jin Ling mocked.

"Yes, Senior Y/N is his mother and Hangunag-Jun is his father, and they do what they want. Do you have more questions?" Lan Jingyi retorted shutting Jin Ling's mouth.

You left the Sizhui with his friends and went to the inn where Lan Wangji told you to wait that day. On the other hand, it took a while for Lan Wangji to talk with Lan Xichen and to deal with bickering juniors at downstairs before reaching you. The juniors saw he was carrying liquor upstairs but there was something else in his other hand too. After he left Jin Jingyi suddenly realized what it was and dropped the pieced of the meat he was eating his for the second time.

"Wasn't that a jade rabbit?"

Lan Sizhui coughed.

When Lan Wangji walked in to the room, you and Wei Wuxain were having a chat. Wei Wuxain through this journey was thinking what kind of a relationship that you and Lan Wangji were having. The rumors were unavoidable, and he heard from random men that Hanguang-Jun and you were a couple, and you must have must have fed him with a love portion on him or he would never be fell for you. Then Wei Wuxian did not hesitated to reply with answers outwitting them and emphasizing how cute you were. Anyway, since he returned he felt that he was having serious feelings for you, even though he was been his usual flirty self earlier . Wei Wuxain wondered, if you felt the same sometimes or if you had mixed feelings and trying to replace his care with Lan Wangji's."Lan Zhan!" Wei Wuxian was glad to see Lan Wangji with liquor and grabbed it quickly from Lan Wangji before pouring it to his mouth. "I missed good times" he said while drinking.

"Y/N, did you have dinner?" Lan Wangji asked.

"No, we were waiting for you"

" Okay, then let's all have dinner" Wei Wuxain cheered up and grabbed Lan Wangji's arm by one hand and yours by the other, dragging you both downstairs. When you all sat, Lan Wangji was next to you and Wei Wuxian was the opposite. The juniors were still having dinner while food was serving for you.

"Y/N, shall we have a walk afterwards?" Wei Wuxain asked after some time. You immediately looked at Lan Wangji. He was listening but poured tea to your cup instead of saying something.

"Ah! Lan Zhan, can come with us too" you said trying to not make Lan Wangji provoke.

"Nah! Hanguang-Jun and I walked so many miles together how about us alone? We have many things to catch up" Wei Wuxian pouted.

Suddenly, you felt someone's arm was touching yours and you had not realized that Lan Wangji was moving closer until his arm was glued to yours. The whole hall was silent watching the scene.

"Senior Mo, isn't it late now?" you mumbled.

"Are you shy for me? Cute" Wei Wuxian laughed warmly.

From behind you felt, Lan Wangj's chest and the juniors gasped as it was new to them to see clinginess of Hanguang-Jun as he had never done that in public. In spite of all, Wei Wuxain was still messing with Lan Wangji.

"It's up to you to decide. I wish you meet me in the garden" He said blowing you a kiss. Lan Wangji thumped the table with his tea cup and stood up. Fuming, he climbed upstairs.

Wei Wuxian smirked. "Y/N, maybe I'm helping you if you are into Hanguang-Jun or may be helping you to decide" He was not even slightly affected by Lan Wangji's reaction while everyone else were terrified and muttered to you.

You did not care what it meant as you were busy chasing Lan Wangji. " Lan Zhan! " You caught Lan Wangji's hand and he shook it off instantly while walking straight to his room. " Lan Zhan! Please don't go" You begged but he was not even looking at you. " Lan Zhan" you hugged Lan Wangji.

"Why are you mad with me?"

“You like him flirting with you?" he said trying to pull you off from him. "No" you cried holding his waist tight burring your face in his robes" No, I LOVE YOU . Hanguang- Jun, Lan Zhan, Lan Wangji... I only need you" you cried.

Lan Wangji pulled you off and lifted you up with in blink and connected his lip with you. He kissed you hungrily even though, Lan Wangji always used to kiss you tenderly until now. You tied your legs around his waist and hands around Lan Wangji's neck. It took only a second for him to close the door and pin you against the wall before peppering kisses on your neck.

You pulled off Lan Wangji's forehead ribbion and accidently knocked off a jug next to you while doing that. Right at the moment Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi and Ouyang Zizhen were walking to your room passing by Lan Wangji's room as Lan Sizhui was concerned about you after what happened in at dinner.

They heard the noise of the glass and looked at each other. "Is there some trouble?" they thought rushing towards the door but before they enter Wei Wuxian ran into them. "I'll go first. Everyone stay behind" but he did not go in either as he lightly heard your moans, when he was too close to the door. He smirked besides the little disappointment in his heart. It was no longer unclear for Wei Wuxian who you loved the most.

"Let's go Hanguang-Jun is fine. Also don't go to Senior Y/N's room to disturb." He said to impatient juniors.

"but Senior Mo..." Lan Sizhui was still worried.

"Ah not now. Ask Hanguang-Jun about it in the morning perhaps. Tssk didn't I save you all from being poisoned? Listen to me then" Wei Wuxian winked.

Finally, "go go " Wei Wuxian had to chase them away on his own when the young disciples were yet staring at him.

Haii!!! This took longer than I thought it would! I hope you like it💖 This is my first time writing for the Juniors (aside from Sizhui) and so I hope I did them justice! This was fun and I might consider continuing to write for them! I don’t know them too well though!

Where They Like To Hug/Kiss You (Juniors)!

Lan Sizhui:

He LOVES hugs and kisses. His favorite place to kiss you is your cheeks!

Especially hugs where he can bury his face in your chest. He’ll often lay on your chest and just listen to your heart beat. Sometimes he’ll look up at you as you talk. You don’t have to look down at him (since it gets uncomfy after a while), but he’ll keep staring at you. He just loves to look at you. You’ll always get surprise cheek kisses.

He adores the giggles he can get out of you through both the hugs and kisses. BEWARE! If you’re ticklish… he’ll tickle you.

You’d finally settled into bed after a long day. You were as exhausted as you thought you’d be, which was good news because your favorite activity of the day was coming up! Everyday Sizhui was able to stay with you, every night you two would snuggle up in bed and just talk about anything.

Tonight, he just so happened to be able to stay with you. He quickly joined you in bed, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you in for a tight hug. You giggled as he pressed his head into your chest, allowing you to rake your fingers through his hair.

Your conversation started by asking how Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji were doing but it quickly morphed into a conversation about whether or not ghosts would ever be cursed with tasting their most hated foods. Your conversations had no bounds and would go anywhere, they could be serious or silly. You adored it all.

“Imagine being able to taste your least favorite food for the rest of your ghostly life!” You said with a giggle. You failed to notice the lovestruck look Sizhui had on his face as he leaned up and kissed your cheeks. You smiled and looked down at him. “You missed, silly.”

“Yeah but your cheeks are so soft, I can’t help but want to kiss them every time.”

Lan Jingyi:

If he had to choose between hugs and kisses, he would pick hugs because your arms are the best place for him. His favorite place to kiss is your lips!

He’ll hug you anywhere he can. He loves hugs and sometimes he’ll even surprise you with hugs! He prefers to hug you from the front because he can kiss you like that, but hugs from behind are cute too. Try hugging him from behind, sometime.

He loves to see your smile! Both hugs and kisses are the best way to see them so you bet he’ll do it every single time he can.

You reached out and tried to pluck the small flower from the tree. It was only a couple of inches away and you stood on your toes. It was so close! As your finger gently brushed past a petal, you felt arms wrap around you. You squealed but immediately calmed down once your boyfriend’s scent wrapped around you.

“Ah! You scared me!” You laughed as you turned in his arms. Jingyi looked down at you with a smile before hugging you tightly.

“I’m sorry, but I couldn’t help myself. How are you, today?” You smiled as he easily reached up and plucked the flower out of the branch for you. His hand brushed past your hair as he slid the flower behind your ear.

“Thank you.” He shook his head with a big smile.

“No, thank you.” You tilted your head and giggled.

“What for? You’re the one who got the flower.” He was tempted to answer you, but chose not to. Instead, he leaned down and captured your lips with his own. You melted into his sweet kiss, completely forgetting about what you’d asked.

Thank you for letting me see your beautiful face everyday.

Jin Ling:

He adores your hugs, but he won’t say it out loud. He even acts like they’re annoying, but never once has he ever rejected your hugs. In fact, every time you hug him, you can feel him melt into you. On top of that, he loves kisses too. He likes kissing your neck, because he can bury his face into it afterwards and you’ll never see him.

He’ll get all pouty to get hugs from you, but on rare occasions, he’ll just walk up to you and give you a hug. He used to be awkward at first, but eventually got better at them.

He has to admit, the smile that lights up your face when he does hug you makes him happier than he’s ever been. Sometimes when he sees you’re sad, he’ll give a hug or kiss.

You sighed as you sat down on the bed. Your anxiety had started acting up again and it didn’t make sense. Nothing was around to make you especially anxious, yet here you were. A mess. You wanted to go to Jin Ling, but didn’t want to bother him.

So here you were, sitting alone as your mind ran through the most annoying scenarios. You had been exhausted and you were hungry, but the anxiety made you lose your appetite. All you could do was sit there and try not to break down.

You’d barely noticed Jin Ling enter the room and walk towards you, calling out your name. He’d been looking for you and last he heard, you’d walked into your room with a very upset look, so of course, he got worried. He suspected your anxiety was getting to you.

Slowly, he walked and crouched in front of you. You still hadn’t noticed him. He reached out and gently took your hands, startling you. However, he didn’t speak, he only massaged your hands which seemed small and insignificant, but helped you more than you could explain.

You felt your anxiety leave as tears pricked your eyes. He looked at him and he nodded, which was enough for you. You let the emotions flow, letting your tears carry away the worst of feelings. Jin Ling moved to the bed and held you in his arms while you cried.

“It’s ok… it’ll be ok.” He whispered, placing gentle kisses on your neck. After that, he held you for as long as you needed while you got those irritable emotions out.

Ouyang Zizhen:

Hugs and cuddles for days! After a long, stressful day, he just loves to lay in your arms and let you talk. He doesn’t particularly care about the topic, he just wants to hear your voice. He also loves kisses and specifically likes to kiss your forehead.

You’ll often lay on his chest, so it’s pretty easy for him to get your forehead. However, he’ll also just randomly tug you in and kiss your forehead. It always catches you off guard.

He adores that little smile and giggle of yours. The way you’ll shy away sometimes just fuels his need to wanna see it more. Like come on, how you gon be so cute?

You smiled as you stuck your fingers into the small pod. You reached out and grabbed a small flower floating in the water and held it in your hand. You were just waiting for your boyfriend to arrive since you two had planned a small date and here you were getting distracted.

Zizhen found you not too long after and stopped a distance away. He leaned against a tree as an adoring smile appeared on his face. He truly loved you and he never cared to try to hide it, but the best way to see his feelings were in a situation like now. Just look at his face; his eyes. He watched as you giggled and pushed the flower around in the water before picking up another one. You’d lower your hand into the water, let them float away before picking them up again.

“There you are, I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” He called after a few moments, making you look back at him. Your face lit up as you let go of the flowers once more. You ran towards him with the biggest smile and immediately jumped into his arms. He let out a laugh as he hugged back, placing a soft kiss on your forehead. You smiled and rested your head against his chest.

“Sorry, I got a little distracted.” You giggled, making him shake his head. He brushed some of your hair back before twirling a lock of hair around his finger.

“Whatever will I do with you, huh?”

“Hmm, love me?”

“Only if you love me back.”

“Deal!”

Teach me Y/N.” He says to you “I forgot how to sing so It might be confusing Sizhui.” You say to him walking to your dorm “It’s fine! I want you to teach me, I like listening to your voice! We share the same dorm after all, so we can practice together!” You agree and began to teach him the next day and he was really good! It was like he can really sing from the beginning. “Sizhui! You lied! You CAN sing!” You point at him with wide eyes surprisingly he didn’t need help! “Y/N, I merely followed your instructions.” You didn’t believe him of course since you made it a little hard to understand. “The tune should be a little lower, its not a high note yet calm down.” You spoke like a literal music professional.. “Y/N?.. And ALMOST gave you a heart attack! “Don’t scare me like that!” You say to him “Sorry! Just wanted you to teach me! But why did you hide your talent?” He asks you “Well I was just about to sing this for hanguang-jun and Senior Wei’s anniversary.. But DON’T you DARE tell them or give hints to ANYONE!” He nods as you now begin to teach him. “Can I play some of the parts with you?” He really wants to duet no? “Fine.” And you begin to teach him after 3 weeks “At least you got the tune right, but the lyrics.. MEMORIZE IT.” And at Wangxian’s anniversary.. You both sang it so nicely Wei Wuxian cried happy tears.

Fine!” Then you began to teach him and he didn’t really need that much help. But you really loved his voice ( some voice cracks ruin the mood but either way you are his teacher ). He was ready and he sang for his mother ( You deserve it Yanli ) “A-Ling, you sang so nicely! Who taught you?” She asks Jin Ling as he points at you. “You 2 could make a great duo.”

Or did you miss me that much from your night hunt?” He blushes at you and you giggle at his reaction when he gives you a nod. “Can you teach me?” You reply a yes and after some weeks he didn’t really need help.. His memorization needs work if he is going to sing after all. “Okay memorize the lyrics more often and you can sing as good as me!” He laughs and says “Ok love.” And you both began to practice when he finally memorized the lyrics.

OHMYGOSH, so many people are requesting UWU. ❤️ When I said the Juniors get the most love around here, I wasn't joking! (which of course is great, our lovely boys deserve the love) A day after making a post about having 3 similar asks, appeared a wild 4th one, so here we are, killing 4 birds with one stone! From what I recall, the boys are 16 (legal in my country) but for the sake of being politically accurate and tastefully uncreepy, I'll still age them up ~ This was quite difficult to write, since I'd never even so much as considered writing anything remotely un-soft for the boys, but I hope you ike it anyways. My gosh, getting him to undress would be difficult. For real, even after a thousand years of being in a relationship with you, he'd still be embarrassed when it comes to physical touch of any sort. More often than not, he'd let you take over the reigns, but believe me he won't go down without a fight. He is the absolute dictionary definition of a bratty bottom. In fact he the brattiest bottom. You want him to undress? Undress him yourself if you're so eager. But in reality, he'd be ready to indulge you in absolutely everything you wish.

Jin Ling is a sucker for praise. Tell him how good he is, praise him and he'll become putty in your hands. There's nothing he loves more than hearing you moan his name out in utter bliss. So to celebrate the end of the night hunt, the juniors decided to have drinks (even though it is illegal in cloud recesses, Jingyi was able to convince sizhui)

You were a junior as well, from the C/N clan

You were really close with the junior quartet (yes, Zizhen too give my boy some love), having befriended them during the many inter clan night hunts

You were closest with Zizhen and Jingyi, since all three of you were closest since you shared the same sense of humour and all enjoyed playing around the most

SizHui and Jin Ling were slightly more of a mystery to you

Jin Ling was just kinda bratty, and although you two were close friends, you also argued a lot

And SizHui generally didn't speak to you

Not because he didn't like you, no, it was because he liked you a little too much

He had a huge crush on you

And so, he never really knew how to approach you, let alone ask you to court him

So being drunk was the perfect excuse

The five of you had gotten some emperors smile and were now drinking it in a common room you had rented

And now you were surrounded by four drunk boys

Jin Ling and Jingyi were definitely very drunk, arguing over some pointless thing

Zizhen was in a corner, crying his eyes out (he was 100% drunk as well)

And Sizhui sat next to you, downing his fifth of sixth cup, nothing but slight red cheeks to show his drunkenness

You had only had a single cup, since you didn't really like the taste

Whenever you and Sizhui were alone together, you would generally be in comfortable silence

Now that he was drunk however...

“Ah-Y/N,” he started, soft and gentle voice slightly wavering, “We are friends aren't we?”

You looked at him puzzledly, before nodding

“Well, I-”

Whatever he’d been about to say was cut off by a loud Jingyi, as he sat down right between the two of you, effectively separating you

Then he turned to Sizhui and said

“Are you finally gonna ask her to court you?” Then with a huge shit eating grin he added

“Zizhen, Jin Ling! Sizhui is asking Ah-Y/N to court him!”

Jin Ling turned to them, but made no move to come over

Zizhen however immediately smiled and came over to where you were sitting

“Really? I knew you wanted to Sizhui, but I never thought you’d do it so soon!” he exclaimed, coming to sit with them as well

By now Sizhui’s face had reddened so much he practically looked like a tomato

You tried to catch his eye but he seemed to be doing everything in his power to not look at you

He was really embarrassed and although he had been meaning to ask you, this was not how he had meant to go by it

“Well? Are you gonna ask her or not?” Zizhen mumbled, clearly impatient

Sizhui looked like he was about to implode

You knew you had to do something to save your poor friend

And so you did

“If Sizhui wants to ask me something, he can do it whenever he wants to. Stop pressuring him”

You could see Sizhui relax, even if it was only a bit

Jingyi and Zizhen however in turns annoyed and let down

“Fine then... Come on Zizhen.” Jingyi muttered, getting up along with Zizhen and going to whisper to each other on the far end of the room

Which left you and Sizhui alone

The comfortable silence that you had was now long gone

Somehow, Sizhui was the first to break the silence

“I’m sorry I put you in an uncomfortable position...” he said softy, almost a whisper

“Nonono! It’s okay!” You you scrambled to say, tripping over your words in a rush to get them out

Only then did he truly look at you, and you could see something a little but like hope in his eyes

“Was Jingyi telling the truth or...” you muttered, unsure if you should continue the topic

Sizhui looked away, blushing more now, but he managed to nod all the same

And that was all the confirmation you needed

Since he wasn't looking at you however, you had to grab his hand to get his attention

“I would like that. To, um, c-court y-you i mean. I would like that a lot...” You mumbled

Now it was your turn to blush

But the smile that appeared on his face after he’d understood what you’d said was so bright that you almost entirely forgot your embarrassment

You just looked at each other, sharing a tender moment, until

“FINALLY!”

Jingyi and Zizhen (and even Jin Ling) congratulated you on your courtship for the next hour, until they all passed out from drunkenness, and you and Sizhui were finally able to share your first kiss

A/N Not really a story, more like some compilation of moments with them. Hope it's to everyone's liking :)

"How about your uncle?" "You're crazy." Jin Ling scoffed at you and you whined as you let your head fall back against the wooden frame before leaning it sideways to lay on Jingyi's leg instead.

"Wuxian-ge would say yes..." Sizhui commented as he looked up from his book and slid back slightly, making Zizhen jump slightly as he was leaning against Sizhui's legs. You nodded in acknowledgement before turning around and whacking Jin Ling, who flinched before whacking you back.

"Him and my brother would totally love it!" You laughed softly before looking at Zizhen interrupted the conversation. "I honestly don't think this is a good idea..." He said and you sighed before nodding, leaning your head back and shrugging.

"Alright then... Chicken~" You teased and Zizhen turned red before crossing his arms with a pout while Sizhui tried to calm the atmosphere slightly.

"So you want to move my murder to my other uncle? Because that I can kind of agree to..." "That's my brother, kind of like him." You stated and Jin Ling groaned at you, cursing softly at the disagreement.

"Does your family not have problems?" He continued and you scoffed at him, looking up from Jingyi's leg.

"Oh, we have many problems... I mean, parents dead, Mingjue-ge dead and the Huaisang-ge is barely holding our clan together when he can do so much better. Honestly, not that different from you, huh?" You gave him a wink and Jin Ling rolled his eyes, pillow thrown your way that you skillfully dodged.

"Same here." Sizhui commented and Jingyi quickly thew in a word as well with a smile, which made all of you turn to Zizhen. His eyes widened and he quickly shook his head at you.

"Mine's fine." "Eh, you'll get there." You commented, which earned you a hit to your head from Jingyi. "Don't curse him." You giggled at him before picking at your skirt.

"So... I'll ask?"

"What on earth is that?" The shock was clear in Zizhen's voice and the rest was seemingly just as shocked. You looked at the animal beside you before looking back at the rest.

"I have no clue! But look how cute!" You crouched down and took ahold of the beast's head and smushing it together with a large grin on your face.

"That is a predator." Sizhui commented as he got closer, pulling you away from the animal. You whined, making grabbing hands towards the animal and it was quick to follow you with careful steps. Sizhui paused and let go of you, letting you sit on the ground while the large animal came closer to you and sat down in front of you.

"Where did you find that tiger?" Jin Ling asked, making you turn your head before turning back to the supposed tiger. "So you're just a big kitty, huh?" You smiled as the cat purred at you while Jin Ling rolled his eyes, sighing loudly at you.

"How do you not know what a tiger is?" "I didn't study animals, I studied sabers and murder cases." You answered as you scratched the top of the tigers head.

"What's a good name for-" Leaning down slightly to check before continuing. "-guy?" You asked, looking back to the rest.

"Pudding!" Jingyi jumped in as he got closer, kneeling down and petting the animal as well. He was delighted when the animal purred again, pushing his head closer before flinching when he heard someone else approach.

"Oh, kitty~" Wuxian's voice rang out as he ran over, leaving a shocked Lan Zhan and Jiang Cheng. You just greeted the man with a happy smile before introducing him to Pudding, choosing that the name was just perfect for the tiger.

"So dogs are a no for that guy, but a murderous tiger is okay?" Jiang Cheng commented and you could hear someone laugh, assuming it was Jin Ling.

The library was empty except for the five of you, supposedly studying and yet failing so miserably. Well, you were anyway, the rest was doing fine. Instead you were staring at Sizhui, who was reading his work again while chewing on his fingernails. As if he sensed your gaze, he looked up at you before pulling his hand down with wide eyes.

"Is something wrong?" He asked and you chuckled, placing your chin in your hands with a grin.

"You're so cute it's distracting me." You laughed as you watched Sizhui go red, something that you a so loved to see.

"That's a good one." Jingyi commented and you scoffed. "What, going to use it on a Lan? They'll have a stroke." You joked and Jingyi shrugged as he closed the scroll that he was reading.

"Would be funny to watch." "You'd get whipped for that." Jin Ling pointed out with a raise of his eyebrows and you shook your hand at that statement. "They stopped that, remember? It's writing now." "That's so much worse." Jin Ling commented and you shrugged at him before looking at Sizhui again, who had opted to hide his face in his hands.

"Now that nobody's studying! I have an idea!" You said and everyone looked at you before Zizhen spoke up.

"That's dangerous." He said and you scoffed at him, throwing your pencil at him.

"Oh, shush."

"I can believe you just walked off!" Sizhui and Zizhen were shocked, Jin Ling disappointed and Jingyi was cackling. You were just confused.

"Yes? I walked away mid-conversation, so what? They were boring me to death and my survival instincts kicked in." You gave a shrug as you bit off the last piece from the fruit skewer before chewing on the stick itself out of habit.

"She's the mother of the sect leader! She's more important than you think?!" "I have Pudding." You smiled as you entered your room, the four boys pilling in after you. You sat yourself down and giggled again.

"I think she had smoke coming out of her ears, heh." You giggled to yourself as Jingyi sat next to you and Jin Ling on your other side. Jingyi leaned in slightly to whisper in your ear.

"You're the first who dared to do that." He said and you turned your head with a surprised look before smiling proudly. "Yeah, survival instinct my ass. It was nice knowing you." Jin Ling said and you laid your head down on his shoulder.

"Make sure everyone cries on my funeral?" You ask and Jin Ling nods, patting your hand that rested on his lap. You smiled and closed your eyes before sighing softly.

"Do you think she'll actually kill me?" You opened your eyes again to look at Sizhui, who shrugged.

"I think you're doomed."

Walking around, you tried to ignore the whispers as you held on to Jingyi's and Sizhui's arms, the other two not present at the moment. You didn't feel like talking, not after everything that went down at the temple. Someone you trusted and regarded as a brother killed your biological brother and your second brother had know this for years. Who would feel okay after all that, because you definitely didn't.

"Is she dating them or something?" A voice rang through as you walked to your room, but everyone ignored the comment as you continued. You barely registered entering your room or sitting down, not even when you were being wrapped in your sheets did it register. You felt numb, but that comment kept ringing in your head.

"Now, I know I should be in shock and all... but does everyone think that I'm dating you?" You asked, which made both boys freeze in their spots before bursting into laughter.

"Now that's a problem we can't avoid." Jingyi commented and you shrugged at him, not really minding it.

"You call it a problem. I call it a solution. Guess who won't get marriage proposals?" You gave a tired smile and Jingyi scoffed before sitting down beside you on the bed, pulling you down to lay down. Sizhui soon joined you and it was then that your walls broke down. Tears started streaming down your face as you clung to both of them, not being able to stop the waterfalls. They didn't seem to care for the wet spot on their clothes as they comforted you and when the two others arrived, Jin Ling just as teary as you, they just joined into the pile. You felt slightly better when you were not the only one crying, but even if you were it would be okay with your friends around you.

The adults later found you all huddled up together, clinging to each other while you slept. Their little chicks.

General Requirements

Artists and writers of all skill levels are able to participate.

All ages can participate and members will be asked to report whether they are above or below the age of 18.

Writer Requirements

Writers can choose which tier level they want to do, but must be aware that once they submit their fic summary check-in, it can no longer be changed.

There is no maximum word count for tiers.

Only new fics are allowed; certain exceptions will be made. More info can be found in our Writer FAQ.

Chapter fics are fine as long as it’s finished by the final check-in and completely posted on the assigned date.

Fics should not be posted prior to the assigned date.

Ensure that the work progress is updated to the beta reader in a timely manner and completed by the final deadline.

Writers must list any and all warnings/tags for their fic and whether it’s SFW or NSFW. Please see Common Warnings/Tags.

Artist Requirements

Artists can select which tier level they would like to complete, but once fic claims are made and team pairings are assigned, it can no longer be changed. So, even if the writer’s fic fits the next tier level, it does not mean that the tier has changed.

Artists will need to make original content as they will be drawing scenes from their partner’s story. The artist cannot use a previously created artwork of theirs that coincidentally is similar to a scene in the story nor can they steal, trace, and/or redraw other people’s original artwork.

Artwork should not be shared outside the Discord server until the assigned posting date.

If an artist decides to draw a NSFW scene (sexual content, graphic violence, etc.) they must use privatter.net so that only 18+ can see the full artwork, while 18- can only see a cropped SFW version.

General FAQ

What is a Bang?

A Bang is a fandom event where writers and artists collaborate to create new content for the fandom. There are different types of Bangs: Baby/mini Bang, Big Bang, and Reverse Bang.

A Baby/mini Bang and Big Bang are similar, however, Baby/mini Bangs tend to last 4 months while Big Bangs can last 6 to 10 months. Baby Bangs also typically have lower requirements for word count, such as a 5k minimum word count and one completed art piece. Meanwhile, Big Bangs tend to have a minimum word count of 20k with two completed art pieces. For both Bangs, writers submit their fic summaries and artists claim which fic they want to draw.

A Reverse Bang is where artists submit their WIPs and writers claim which art they want to create a story for.

For further clarification, this bang isn’t a Big Bang. Rather, it’s a mix between a Baby Bang and a Big Bang because there are tier levels, which allows participants to choose what their minimum goal is. That’s why this event is called MXTX Bang, not MXTX Big Bang. If anyone wants to create a MXTX Baby or Big Bang or another similar event with their own themes and guidelines, they are free to do so.

What can I sign up as?

You can sign up as a writer, artist, and/or beta. If you sign up for more than one role, please be aware of how much work will be required for whatever tiers you choose. Additionally, if you sign up for more than one role, please complete all forms for your chosen roles. For example, if you want to sign up as both a writer and beta, please fill out a writer and beta sign-up form.

How will this work?

Writer sign-ups will close a week before fic summaries are due, allowing any writers who sign up last minute to have enough time to at least get enough information down so an artist knows what to expect with their fic. A form will be sent out to artists for them to claim fics. This claim form will only show the fic summary, ships (if any), and any warnings. Artists will not know who the writer is until after team assignments have been made.

Artists get first-come, first-served claims, meaning that most will get the first writer they picked. However, if someone else claims that writer, the artists will be given their 2nd or 3rd possible pick. Once claims end, the moderators will send out emails about the pairings.

Writers and artists will need to communicate with one another and decide on what scenes to draw. There will be check-ins for writers and artists so that mods can know everyone’s progress. Please try to turn those in on time.

Moderators will send out a form so that writers and artists can decide on when they will want to post their work. Since it’s a collaborative event, the pairings will need to talk about when they want to post it.

What happens if there are more writers than there are artists or vice versa?

If there are more writers than artists, the artist sign-up period will be extended in the hopes that new people will join. However, if the numbers still aren’t enough, artists that signed up as pinch hitters will be asked if they would like to take on any of the unpaired writers. More leeway is given to these pinch hitters; the moderators will allow them more time to complete their art.

If more artists than writers sign up, moderators will give them the option to wait and see if any artists drop out, or they can choose to partner with a writer who has an artist already. This means some fics might have up to two different artists.

Will this event have a theme?

Due to the responses in the interest check, there won’t be any set theme. The majority of votes chose to keep the theme general, so participants have unlimited freedom in what theme they want to work on.

What are the adaptations, and do we need to specify which one we are creating for?

MDZS is the only novel with adaptations so far. The adaptations are the donghua, manhua, audio drama, and live action (The Untamed). Participants do not need to specify which adaptation they are creating for, only which fandom they are writing for.

If I’m under 18, am I still allowed to participate?

Yes, all ages can participate.

How will minors be kept away from the NSFW content?

All NSFW content will be kept in separate channels that only allow access to those who state that they are 18 years old. If any minor is found to be lying about their age to gain access to these areas, they will be kicked from the server and banned from the event. The mods have taken several precautions to prevent any minors from accessing NSFW content.

What if I want to do a ship that isn’t popular?

Side ships and non-canon ships will be accepted for this event. However, please be aware that it may be harder to match with an artist/writer.

Are there any banned topics and content?

Content such as underage characters (minors) in sexual situations will not be allowed for this event. If an author decides to age up underage characters such as the junior trio, then this rule does not apply as long as it is portrayed that their personality has matured as well.

Incest will not be allowed for this event. Filial relationships such as student/teacher do not constitute as incest. These are allowed as while these relationships are family-like, the moderators consider it different from conventional incest. The ban on incest apply to pairings such as Jiang Fengmian x Wei Wuxian, where one part of the ship was actively raised as a child/son-like figure by the other. The exception to including incest in your fic will be any canon-based content, but again, these events should not be the main focus. Bestiality is also not allowed in this event.

As for content that feature non/dub-con, it is allowed as long as it is only briefly shown or only hinted at or alluded to in regards to the plot of the story. The content should not be explicit and graphically written out/depicted in the story or artwork. For further clarification, the moderators do not define “rape” and “rape kink” as the same. Rape kink is allowed in the event because it is a roleplay between two consenting adults.

Writer FAQ

What is needed for the fic summary check-in?

Writers will be given a form that will ask for:

Fandom (SVSSS, MDZS, and/or TGCF)

Title (Optional)

Rating

Tier level

Ship (including background ship) or no ship

SFW or NSFW

Warnings

Summary

Any additional notes for the artist, so they can be more aware of the story’s content.

Please have some kind of notes or outline that will help your artist so that they can get ahead on drawing scenes for your fic!

Note: It’s best to start writing your outline/plots once you sign up and enter the Discord server because it’ll help you estimate which tier level fits your fic.

Can I write a fic that has chapters?

Yes, you can write chaptered fics. However, it must be completed by the final check-in and all chapters must be posted on the assigned posting date or by the end of the posting dates.

Can I continue a fic that I’m working on?

No, you cannot continue a fic that has already been posted. However, if you want to write a sequel or prequel for a completed fic that can be seen as a standalone fic, then yes you can.

You cannot add on to a work in progress (new chapters of an ongoing fic). However, if you have a fic that you’ve been working on but haven’t posted or shared anywhere, then you can use this for the event.

Can I expand on and/or change the idea of a fic I previously wrote?

Yes, as long as your bang fic’s idea is different enough and can be read by itself without having to read the previously written fic, the moderators will accept it. If you’re still unsure, please contact a mod for clarification.

Can I translate a complete Chinese fic into English for the bang?

No. All participating writers are expected to make an original fic for this Bang. Translating a fic that is already completed goes against the spirit of the event. Additionally, this event is English only.

What genres/warnings/ratings are allowed?

Since NSFW themes are allowed in this event, participants are given more freedom. However, everything must be properly tagged with its correct warnings and ratings. You can find more on Common Warnings/Tags.

Reminder: Not all NSFW is sexual content. It can also be death, extreme violence, gore, etc.

Are AUs/crossovers from other fandoms allowed?

Yes, since this event has a general theme, participants are free to choose whether their work is an AU or crossover from another fandom.

Does my fic have to be betaed?

Yes, it does. It needs to be fully betaed by the final deadline. Writers will be given a list of beta readers who signed up for the event, along with the content the beta readers are comfortable or uncomfortable working with, for the writer to reach out to and ask. Beta readers are allowed to decline the request. Writers should not harass beta readers who choose to decline their request and move on to find another who is more amenable to looking over their work. If writers still have difficulties finding a beta, please contact a mod. It is allowed for a writer to have a beta reader who didn't sign up for the event to beta their story. Please inform a moderator on who it is so that it can be added in the documentation and credit can be given.

What are the tiers available in the Bang for writers?

Tier 1: 5K minimum word count

Tier 2: 10K minimum word count

Tier 3: 20K minimum word count

Tier 4: 30K minimum word count

Tier 5: 40K minimum word count

Once writers select their tier and fic summaries are turned in, they are locked into their selected tier. This means that even if you exceed the minimum word count for the next tier, you are still considered as the tier you selected, and your artist need only to meet the selected tier’s requirements. For example, a writer locks in at tier 3 but exceeds tier 4’s minimum word count. Their partner artist only needs to meet tier 3’s requirements.

Note: Writers and artists will be paired based on the preference of the artist during the blind claim period. The moderators will attempt to pair within the same tier level, though it is possible that an artist with a higher tier may be paired with a lower tiered writer. If at all possible, a lower tiered artist will not be paired with a higher tiered writer. Either way, the artist is not required to create more pieces than what they originally selected.

Beta Reader FAQ

What does a beta reader do?

A beta reader is an unofficial editor for an author. They provide feedback based on the author’s requests, which can include proofreading or pointing out plot holes or inconsistent characters. They can also point out where there might be confusing passages or transitions of thought from the author, who already know what they mean but did not provide a clear picture for the audience. Beta readers are another pair of fresh eyes for the author.

When and how are writers and beta readers paired?

Writers will be given a list of beta readers on November 10—along with what content the beta readers are comfortable or uncomfortable with—and they will be the ones to contact that beta reader. When writers ask the beta readers, they must inform the beta readers of the contents of their fic, so that the beta reader knows what to expect.

What if I don’t want to partner with a writer who asked for my beta skills?

Beta readers are allowed to decline a writer’s request if they are uncomfortable with the content of the writer’s fic, they do not have time to read through a longer fic, or wish to decline due to other reasons. Writers should not harass beta readers who choose to decline their request. Writers should move on to find another beta who is more comfortable looking over their work. If a writer is harassing you, please inform a mod.

Artist FAQ

If I sign up as both writer and artist, can I claim my own fic?

No, you cannot claim your own fic.

What if I want to draw a NSFW scene?

You can draw a NSFW scene if you choose to do so; however, when posting you will have to give a cropped SFW version of it while including a link to privatter.net for those who are 18+.

What size do art pieces need to be?

There are no requirements on the artwork’s size; it is up to the artist’s discretion. It is recommended that you take into consideration the optimal sizes for Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, or whichever platform you use if you wish for your artwork’s preview or post to be cropped well. There are several resources available for recommended social media image sizes, and it is encouraged to do your own research. If you wish to make prints of your work, you should also take into account standard paper sizes.

Can we draw traditionally for the bang?

Yes. Artists can submit a traditional drawing if they choose to do so. However, it must be a high quality scan or photo, and all details must be clear.

What are pinch hitters?

Pinch hitters are artists who are interested in helping out in case an artist participant drops out. If this happens, the pinch hitter will be responsible for their original team piece in addition to the new assignment. Because of this, pinch hitters have the option to accept or deny any requests. The mod team will never force someone to be a pinch hitter or to accept requests they aren’t comfortable with.

What are the tiers available in the Bang for artists?

Tier 1: 1 flat-colored piece with no background or shading required

Tier 2: 1 colored piece with shading, no background required

Tier 3: 1 full, simple piece (coloring and shading; simple background - a simple pattern/design or hints of scenery that doesn't have to fill the composition)

Tier 4: 2 full, simple pieces (coloring and shading; simple background - a simple pattern/design or hints of scenery that doesn't have to fill the composition)

Tier 5: 1 full, simple pieces and 1 complex, detailed piece (coloring and shading; complex background that fills the composition - clear perspective and how characters occupy the space)

What if my writer exceeds their tier and fits more into a different tier? Ex: Writer chose tier 3 but exceeds tier 4’s minimum word count.

Once writers select their tier and fic summaries are turned in, they are locked into their selected tier. This means that even if they exceed their word count, you only have to meet the requirements for the original tier. Using the example above, if the writer exceeded tier 4’s minimum word count, you only need to meet tier 3’s requirements.

How do check-ins work?

Emails will be sent at the start of each check-in with a form to check progress levels. There will also be an announcement in the Discord server and on all social media. Please inform a mod if you can’t complete or need an extension.

How does claiming work?

Claims will generally be on a first-come, first-served basis. Once fic summaries are turned in, the moderators will then send a form to the artists where they can claim their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice. Depending on the number of participants that sign up, the moderators may ask the artists to provide more of your top choices. The moderators will do their best to try and match everyone with their first choice.

What if I miss a deadline?

As long as you feel like you can still complete your piece by the posting date, that’s fine. There is no penalty for missing a deadline. If a deadline is missed, a moderator will contact you to get an update on your progress. If needed, the moderators can grant an extension on your work.

What if I need to drop out?

If you have to drop the event, please notify a moderator and your partner as soon as possible so that the moderators can try to find a pinch hitter if one is needed. You will also be given a link to a drop-out form that will need to be filled out.

What are date claims? Why are posting dates assigned?

Posting dates are assigned so that the works can be posted without spamming. Participants will be given a form in mid-January so that they can choose which dates to post on during January 25 – February 8. Depending on how many participants there are, it can range from 6 to 10 claims per day.

Date claims are when participants claim a date to post their work. Please understand that just because your post date is later than another participant’s does not mean that you can still work on your fic/art. It should have been done by the deadline or at the end of the extension if one was requested.

What are extensions and how do we obtain them?

Extensions are if you need extra time beyond the check-in dates and/or the final deadline. To get one, all you need to do is ask a mod. The duration of the extension will depend on your circumstances.

Posting FAQ

How do I post the final project?

Once the writer and artist post their work on their platform(s) of choice, either the writer or the artist will need to fill out a form. Only one of the partners need to submit. On the form, you will submit two banners and the links to your work.

Reminder: Do not actually post your work before your assigned date.

What is a banner and what is it for?

A banner is a title card for the works that includes the fic’s title, author name, and artist name. A second banner, which is a summary card that includes the fic’s genre, warnings, ship(s) and summary, is also required. Either the artist or the writer must include the banners with the final draft email. This will be used in the MXTX Bang official Tumblr and Twitter posts, which will send attention directly to your works rather than having the work be submitted to our blogs. The banners should also include the writer’s and artist’s preferred URLs and a simple background.

It can be any size the writer or artist wish, but keep in mind that these will be posted on Tumblr and Twitter. There are examples of the Banners in the MXTX Bang Discord Server.

Reminder: The banners aren’t to be posted by the participants but will be posted by the mods.

Will we be receiving any reminders?

Reminders will be sent during each check-in period from all platforms: the Discord server, email, Tumblr, and Twitter. In addition, if you miss a check-in, a moderator will check in with you at some point.

What if I change my URL or username on any of my social media?

Just inform a mod and a moderator will update your profile in our files.

How do I communicate with my partner? What if I haven’t heard from them in a while?

When team pairings are assigned, you’ll each be given the contact information provided by your partner. Both will reach out to one another in private chat on whatever platform that you choose. Check-ins help to ensure that there is regular contact. If for some reason you have lost contact with your partner, please contact a mod to see if they have any additional information.

Side and Non-canon Ships and Rare Pairs

The moderators do not restrict most side and non-canon ships. Our only exceptions are content that feature underage characters in sexual situation and incest and/or rape as covered in “Are there any banned topics and content?” Crossover pairings between novels are allowed, but it will be more difficult finding you an artist. It will also be harder to match you with an artist if you wish to feature a rarer ship/pair.

Rare Pairs

The moderators define rare pairs in three ways. 1) Rare pairs could be characters who have had a limited yet meaningful interaction or have an interesting dynamic in canon to justify a developing relationship, even in canon divergent settings. 2) Conversely, rare pairs could also include characters that have an adversarial, vitriolic relationship and are unlikely to develop a stable, good-natured relationship in canon. 3) Rare pairs can also be classified based on a quantifiable amount of AO3 fics featuring that relationship. If it’s not even on the dropdown list of top relationship tags on the AO3 page, it’s most likely a rare pair.

Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing would be considered a rare pair because although they do not have frequent interactions, they met under circumstances that hugely affect Jiang Cheng and his development in the novel’s canon. The live action adaptation also gives this pair a setting where they met even earlier than in the novel, during his student days in the Cloud Recesses. They also do not have a sizable amount of fics on Ao3.

Okay, so, hi everyone? I’ve gotten some new followers, which is a bit surprising, and I’m sure some of you are aware of the discourse currently happening the mdzs fandom. Normally, as my about page states, I will not participate in fandom discourse under any circumstances, but as I was personally signaled out in this, I’ll be making an exception just this once. I’ll be placing everything under a cut just so those of you who don’t want this discourse showing up on your dash can avoid it.

Okay, so if you’re unaware, a blocklist was recently created of people in the fandom that minors should avoid/be aware of. I, as well as one of my good fandom friends, was on this list. I will not be posting links to said list in any way, shape, or form, as I believe it is poorly worded and just wholely not handled well in its original context.

I’d like to preface this entire post with one important idea: you curate your own fandom experience. I actually encourage blocking/blacklisting things and people who make you uncomfortable, just be respectful about it. You don’t need to announce it, or let someone know you’re blocking them. If I in any way make you uncomfortable for any reason, and you are uncomfortable talking to me about it to try and fix the problem, then please unfollow me, block me, or whatever will make you the most happy and comfortable. In the end, fandom is about fun, and it shouldn’t be taken too seriously. It shouldn’t be used to hurt people.

I can’t say I’m not upset that I and my friend were included, and while I don’t know most of the people on that list enough to make a judgment, based on the reasons my friend and I were listed, I don’t believe the judgment of the original creator of the list was wholly sound. For full transparency, I am going to include why I, personally, was signaled out.

The fic I recommended is a fic that the friend I previously mentioned wrote, and I recommended it because I enjoy it and I enjoy supporting my friend’s writing. Now, the fic in question is about the junior trio, but it is written in a context where they are older and not minors. To be fair, my friend did not tag for this, and the lack of a tag for it was not something that I, as her beta, caught, either. I don’t particularly intend to debate whether or not it’s okay to write sexual content about young characters after they’ve been aged up, as it’s a rather gray area and whether it will bother you will vary. If it does bother you, however, that’s perfectly valid and I encourage you to avoid it. Blacklisting is a wonderful thing, and ao3 now includes a function to exclude ships.

And just so it’s clear that I have not altered or cleared this in any way, here’s a screenshot with the time and date in the corner:

I would scroll down to show you guys more of the tag, but there is none. My yaoi tag is just two posts. This is the basis for which I was said to “support yaoi.” I’d like to point out that one post is literally a criticism of the genre as a whole. I have no idea why I tagged the second post as yaoi, but it was reblogged three years ago. It is not something I would reblog and tag that way today. I’ve used the same blog, the same username, for well over seven years now. There is bound to be some stuff here that doesn’t reflect who I am today, and there is also bound to be things that I’ve mistagged or not tagged appropriately in the past. I do not have the energy to clean absolutely everything out, but if you would like to point something out to me, I will be happy to change it. For my purposes, I’m not going to be altering my yaoi tag, in case anyone wants to check it for themselves.

Now, just as an off-topic, I’d like to point out that I’m bi/gray ace. I don’t hate yaoi per say, but I do dislike the picture its common tropes paint of the lgbtqa+ community, as anyone who has spoken with me for five minutes about it can tell you.

This is all I was flagged for, but in the name of transparency, I am also going to include something that, had our original poster of the list seen, would’ve been additional reasons for me to land on the list.

I am writing an A.B.O. fic for HOB. It will also contain an explicit scene in the future, and it contains some pretty heavy triggers such as attempted suicide and CSA/abuse. I know A.B.O. tends to be controversial for many, many reasons, but for the record, all characters retain their full facilities during any and all explicit scenes, on or off screen, and are able to consent or not consent to what is going on. Anything of that nature that happens to a minor does not happen on screen and is appropriately tagged as CSA. I also do not endorse or want minors reading this fic, but I’ll get into that later.

Now, does any of this disprove that I’m a potential danger to minors? No, it does not.

For one, disproving a negative is an impossibility. To demonstrate this, I’ll be using the same analogy my statistics teacher used. You have a field. You’re looking for cows. To find some cows, you divide the field up into twenty sections. Unfortunately, you only have the capability to check five of the sections. You check these five sections, and you don’t find any cows. Can you say, for sure, that there are no cows in the field? Nope. Because it’s impossible to check every section, and there could be cows in the sections you don’t check.

I cannot open up the entirety of my memory and history to prove that I have definitely never hurt a minor. It is absolutely never my intention, and if I have, I deeply apologize for it. But I have no way of disproving a negative because it is mathematically impossible.

Now that we’ve gotten up to this point, some of you might be thinking, isn’t treating such a baseless accusation so seriously, in a way, giving it validity? Well, in a way, sort of. The accusation is entirely baseless, yes, and this is going to be the only time I’m going to argue something like this in this way. It upset me, and it’s there, so I want to address it.

Now, I’m going to reference my about page. Here it is:

Again, this should probably be updated as I have written smut, however infrequent. I try to tag for common triggers, and I have asked here that minors under a certain age not read particular fics. All of my fics that depict unhealthy relationships, darker or sexual themes, or anything that I would be uncomfortable with a minor reading are rated Mature or Explicit, depending.

So all in all, I have tried my best to provide a positive experience to anyone who enjoys my content, and I try to tag so that potentially harmful content doesn’t reach those that it might hurt. I’m not perfect, and I can’t control everything. A minor can still go in and read my Explicit/Mature fics on ao3, no matter how much or how loudly I ask them not to. My content is meant to inspire, to show that life can suck, but in the end, everyone is worth it and continue on.

And, on that caveat, I’d like to point out that I generally take a stance of “create and let create.” Freedom of expression is the greatest gift anyone can be given. Yes, avoid content that hurts you, but please don’t lash out at those who create it. Until you know exactly why they’ve created it, what their history is, and what thoughts or feelings they were working through while creating it, please leave them be. Creators should tag their works so people can avoid content that might be harmful to them, but content that is harmful to one person might be another person’s lifeline.

But the reason I’ve laid this all out is that I want you to judge for yourself. Do I seem like someone you want to be friends with? Do I seem like someone harmful? Do I seem like someone you are indifferent to? Please make the decision that is best for you, and if you happen to want to be friends, please let me know ^^

Now, finally, I hope to see a more positive fandom experience come of this. I say all this, however negative or bleak it might be for me, because it was important for me to work through my thoughts, and I hope that something positive can come of honesty and communication.

Please don’t go after the original poster of the list, if you know who they are. It’s better just to let it go. The person seemed to have had good intentions, however ill-executed they were, and talking to them is only going to create more ill will and negativity for everyone. I believe, at least in part, the reason their list is so unfounded and baseless is because the content they cited genuinely hurts them, and when creating the list, they did not look at the full context of everything they were citing. And, well, context is everything, really. This doesn’t really excuse them, as they still hurt people with a largely unhelpful and thoughtless post, but brewing the negative feelings helps no one. I would also like to state that the fact that the content hurts them is not the fault of any of the creators. If you tag appropriately, but someone doesn’t take the time to blacklist or otherwise protect themself from content they know will hurt them, then that’s on them.

Fandom is a really interesting place. It’s full of so many diverse and wonderful people--minors and adults, lgbtqa+ and allies, tons of different nationalities--we should really take more steps to look out for one another. If there’s anything I could be doing better, please let me know. My experience with the mdzs fandom hasn’t been great up to this point, and I want to change that. I love this show, and I also want to love the people who love it alongside me.

Remember, for every not so great person, there are twenty more lovely people just waiting to meet you. And I hope that, from here on, those lovely people get every good thing they deserve.

Pairing: Lan Sizhui x reader

Warnings: starts with a bit of angst, but fluffier near the end

You stared ahead of you, eyes darting around before landing on Sizhui as he practiced his music skills. His hair was flowing down his back, slightly tied back with a second ribbon so it wouldn’t come in front of his face. His fingers pulled at the strings of the guqin, creating a beautiful melody that echoed through the place. You sat down in the grass, leaning against a tree before closing your eyes as you continued to listen to the music. When it stopped, you opened your eyes and noticed Sizhui in front of you, staring down.

“Why are you sitting here for, (y/n)?” “Just listening.” You answered as he sat next to you. You laid your head on his shoulder with a sigh.

“You are getting better.” You complimented and he laughed sweetly, thanking you. You looked at him as you felt your heart beating faster. For the last 2 years, you had a major crush on him. You grew up together in the burial mountain under Wen Ning, Wen Qing and Wei Wuxian with Sizhui by your side as the only 2 children. When Wei Wuxian died, Lan Wangji took both of you into the Lan clan and acted as a brother/father figure to both of you. You were a year younger than Sizhui, so you had a tendency to actually call Wangji dad, something that only you did and Wangi was okay with for some reason. And then you basically grew up here beside Sizhui, only growing closer and closer in your friendship with the years.

“When are you going to practice the dizi (Chinese flute like Wei Wuxian’s) again?” He asked and you looked away, shrugging carelessly. “Are you still ashamed?” He asked and you looked at him with a shy smile. Just then, Wangji walked in and you smiled, jumping up and running to Wangji before stopping right in front of him.

“Are we doing something, dad?! Are we going on a hunt or-” You stopped rambling as he looked at you, looking down and biting your bottom lip.

“Sorry...” You mumbled and he chuckled, patting your head softly before looking at Sizhui.

“Both of you have a mission with the others.” He said and you smiled brightly, looking back at Sizhui with a smile. He smiled back before bowing to Wangji. While they talked, you had run off to greet your group and wrapped your arm around Jingyi’s neck, pulling him down to your height. He let out a yelp before glaring at you.

“Hey!” You smiled before looking at the other 2. “Hey, Zizhen, hey, Jin Ling!” You greeted and Zizhen smiled as Jin Ling just nodded.

“Why is she here?” “Cause I’m a good fighter and have the brains in this group.” You said, sticking out your tongue at him only for him to do the same back at you. You let go off Jingyi, who stood back up to his normal height and you crossed your arms.

“What are we doing..?” You asked and Jingyi sighed. “Some spirits are causing a ruckus in a town.” He explained and you nodded at it before shrugging. “It’ll be a short adventure.” You whined and they all chuckled at your response. Sizhui walked to you a few minutes later and you all left, walking to the town. The way there was long, you had walked for a full day before arriving, and you were all tired yet still had to start with the mission.

“Let’s rest first before starting. It’s night anyway.” Sizhui said and everyone agreed as a room was rented. Yes, you all slept in the same room. You quickly jumped on the bed and basically claiming it for yourself. They didn’t really care that much as you were the only girl and they refused to let you sleep on the ground, but you did it every single time anyway. Sizhui sat next to you and you smiled as you laid down on the pillow while Sizhui laid next to your bed, just like he always did.

The next day you had all separated from each other, each of you searching for information (some better than others Jingyi). After around 6 hours later, you were finally searching around for the actual monster.

“I’ll check over there.” You said as you walked to the side of the cave that you had just entered and entering a second pathway of the cave. After awhile, you couldn’t see anything and took your dizi, playing a few notes before some light appeared in front of you, making your eyes widen. In front of you stood at least 6 ghouls, all now staring at you with hungry eyes. You took a step back before going into a full sprint only to fall when a seventh one grabbed your leg, taking a chunk out of your leg. Letting out a bloodcurdling scream as it did, you sliced at the ghoul with your sword and hitting it straight in it’s neck and making it let go of you. You scrambled out your feet, running out before almost bumping into Sizhui.

“(Y/n)?” “It’s ghouls!” You exclaimed as you almost tripped over your own feet. Just as you said that, loud screams filled the room followed by the ghouls running in. You heard someone curse loudly (most likely Jingyi or Jin Ling) as you all started running. Halfway, the ghouls had catched up with you and were clawing at your skin. Sizhui was already dragging you because of your leg, but when a ghoul clawed at his arm, he let go of you and you fell. The ghoul that was focused on him was now staring at you and lunged, which you missed by rolling to the side and pushing yourself up. You didn’t feel any of the clawing or bites as pure adrenaline rushed through your veins. Once you all exited the cave, the ghouls hissed at the sunlight that hit them, as you turned around. You took your dizi, Sizhui took his guqin and the other 3 took their swords. Both you and Sizhui started to play as the others attacked. When the ghouls were gone, you stopped playing and sat down on the ground as the pain finally kicked in. You pulled your leg up and inspected the now several bite and claw marks on them before sighing in pain. You could hear some shuffling before spotting Sizhui, who was crouched in front of you with a frown on his face.

“Are you alright? Nevermind, stupid question.” He mumbled as he opened his bag, pulling out bandages and an ointment before he applied it to the wounds. You hissed every time he touched the wounds, trying to pull back only for Sizhui to tighten his grip on your leg.

“Sit still or the poison might kick in.” He mumbled and you hissed again before biting your lip and leaning back as you hands gripped your robes.

“It hurts...” You whined and Sizhui looked up, worry in his eyes.

“Can you move your legs?” He asked and you tried to move them, but unfortunately they barely did. You groaned, trying again before shaking your head. He frowned, pressing certain spots and watching your reaction. You winced every time, and he nodded.

“At least they’re not paralyzed.” He said as he put everything away again. He then turned around and looked at you.

“Get on.” He said and you blushed before pushing yourself forward a bit before wrapping your arms around his shoulders. His hands took hold of your legs before he stood up and pushed you up once.

“Let’s get back to the inn.” He called to the rest, watching the rest get up and follow suit. On the way back, you had started to slowly lose consciousness until you finally felt your head fall down on his shoulder.

Lan Sizhui stayed by your side back in the inn while the others went out with some elders to clear the mission. He had placed a damp towel on your forehead, hoping for your fever to go down. You woke up a few minutes later, but you weren’t yourself. Rather, you were quite delirious as you tried to get out of the bed. He eventually got you to lay down as he laid beside you. You had wrapped yourself around him, arms tightly around his waist as you mumbled nonsense.

“I can’t help it...” You whined loudly and then you paused, which made him look at you. You were looking at him, waiting for some reaction.

“Can’t help what?” He dared to ask and you pushed your body up slightly.

“I like Sizhui~ I like Sizhui so much, but I’m to afraid to say anything...” You whined, letting your head fall down again while Sizhui just looked at you with shock.

“He’s soooo~ pretty and nice. He takes care of me, but he doesn’t see me as more then a friend... Why did I have to fall in love with him? But how couldn’t I? He’s too perfect...” You continued to whine, but the rest of your sentences were more mumbled against his chest.

He couldn’t help his heartbeat increasing as you confessed. He also couldn’t help but feel bad as you laid your soul bare, not knowing that you were doing it to the person who shouldn’t hear. You fell asleep again not much later, still clinging on to him like he’d disappear.

When you woke up again, you were alone in the room. Your body was fully covered with a thick blanket and there was a towel next to your head, which had probably fallen off earlier. You sat up, whining as you felt a pang of pain shoot through your body as well as the throbbing in your leg. Your head was throbbing as well, thoughts racing through your mind as you tried to remember everything that led to this moments. You came up with nothing, of course.

The door opened and you looked up to see Sizhui, smiling at the male only to frown when he didn’t return the smile. He just looked away from your gaze, awkwardly grabbing the towel from your bed and washing it out in a bowl of water.

“Sizhui?” You asked and he flinched slightly before looking at you, his eyes still not meeting yours. You moved slightly before hissing at the pain, which caused Sizhui to quickly stand by your side. He was clearly concerned as his hand held yours, eyes full of concern as he looked at you for any indication of pain.

“I’m okay.” You quickly said and he nodded before letting go of your hand. You frowned again, trying to look him in the eye.

“Why are you avoiding me?” You asked, but he didn’t answer and tried to walk away instead. You grabbed his arm and pulled him back quickly, making him sit down next to you.

"Talk." You said curtly and he looked at you before sighing softly, still not looking you in the eye fully.

"You just said some stuff earlier..." He mumbled and you frowned, thinking back to earlier.

Then it hit you... You had confessed your love to the person that the confession was meant for.

"Oh, God... That was you!" You exclaimed as you stood up in frustration, hands grabbing onto your hair as you softly pulled the strands.

"So... yeah...." You sighed loudly as you sat back next to him.

"This is awkward..." You joked as you looked at him and he returned your smile softly.

"I meant it, by the way. Sorry if you don't, you know, feel the same..." You said and he looked at you before softly grabbing your hand, a blush appearing on his face. He didn't say anything, but just intertwined your fingers and you took it as a sign of returned feelings. Softly placing your head on his shoulder, you sighed in content with a small smile.

The rest of the boys returned from the mission not much later, stopping at the sight in front of them. You and Sizhui were laying on the bed, Sizhui hugging you from behind as you held on of his hands, and both of you were smiling brightly. Jingyi stared at the other two, pointing at the pair in shock.

"You're seeing that, right?! When did he confess? Did I die?" He asked and you opened one eye to glare at the loud male.

"Jingyi?" "Yes?" He turned around and you sighed at the dumb smile on his face. Your eyes connected to Jin Ling and both of you then looked back at Jingyi.

"Shut up."
