I would like to announce that I will be going on a little art adventure this April n' you are more than welcome to join!! We'll explore a new prompt list n' fresh lil story line!! Journey through space and time, venture into the void - where we'll befriend stars n' save an undiscovered cosmic kingdom!! ミ⋆ Participate as much or as little as you want, goal is to just have fun and maybe gain some new skills n' meet like minded folk!! I will begin posting prompt pieces on the 31st of March n' finish up around the 30th of April - I'm hoping to gain some soft art skills + use this time to experiment and learn new skills - it's important to just try and have fun with this art challenge. There are no strict guidelines regarding format of prompt pieces, use any format you want - analog or digital, use pencil or paint - there is no wrong way to approach this art challenge. I've created a playlist over on spotify for some ambient background beats while I draw these daily prompts - if you want to check that out, it can be found here. If you're community-oriented, you are more than welcome to join the official discord server for this prompt!! Hello, thank you very much! Misadventuremay is an artchallenge created by @mattydraws. The idea is that people who participate create their own cool adventure through art, every day of May! I’ll be following the lovely prompts set up in @mattydraws misadventuremay as closely as possible, but I’ll be running fast and loose as required to keep things on track for Pray for Rain :D

Misadventures ahead!

Look at this challenge... This is a great challenge for an artist with issues and who is looking for an adventure and also... IT SEEMS LIKE SO MUCH FUN! (Yes I am talking about myself OK!?)

I started with just drawing random characters and ended up with: May. May is the classic example of a D&D character... Her race is elf and class is adventurer ( looking back it’s probably bard with no singing nor musical skills whatsoever.) But come on! Doing a stereotype?! I thought hard about it but the idea finally came from my brother and nephew who were skateboarding. (They are really really bad btw) The odd thought : “what if she is only has a skateboard as a weapon?” Crossesd my mind and I decided there was no way back. This needs to be done.

So it shall be. This is a thing now. Medieval elf with an skateboard and headphones.

As you may presume this challenge is not just for may, but for a while. Cross your fingers I can finish this adventure!
