Summer, Year 8: Marlene and Roscoe
I’m struggling to decide which businesses my young merchants should start.  For Marlene, I was looking through her skills, hobbies, and especially interests for inspiration.  I was thinking I could use a salon, since the makeover station at the tavern has barely been used this generation.  When she first visited her new business lot, her Aunt Alice was one of the first visitors to arrive.  I decided to see what they would chat about and makeup was the first topic of conversation.  Alice did change the topic to skiing immediately afterward.  (Maybe she thinks a makeover business would be a slippery slope?)  But I take that as a confirmation that a beauty shoppe, it should be.
Tumblr media
Of course, Marlene does not have the funds for a makeover station yet, so she starts off by selling a few cheap mirrors.
Tumblr media
She sells out right away.  (I think her customers were the right audience for this . . .)
Tumblr media
Back at home, the dogs are making mischief.
Tumblr media
Duchess has a love/hate relationship with this stool.
Tumblr media
Marlene goes into labor with her second child.
Tumblr media
It’s a baby boy!  His name is Roland.
Tumblr media
Her firstborn, Maureen, has her child birthday.
Tumblr media
Maureen is struggling.  Sending her to a community lot while she was pregnant was not a good idea.  She needed the rest of the round to recover from that trip.  Though, as a pleasure sim, visiting a community lot did help her mood, a little bit, but unfortunately, not enough.

Film history: The Hays code 🎞 ✄
Tumblr media
For more than thirty years, an ironclad system of regulation of cinematographic content put the professionals of the moment at the limit of their ingenuity in order to prevent their films from falling prey to censorship.
Despite being an undoubted period of repression, this need to avoid the scissors, brought out a whole series of resources, double entendres, veiled references. In certain cases and in genres such as comedy, it gave rise to the suggestive ability of not showing or not saying openly what was obvious. The Hays code was a well-known regulation that was in effect from 1934 to 1968 and was conceived by William H. Hays, a member of the Republican Party and the first president of the Film Producers and Distributors Association of America –MPPDA–.
The cinema, like all artistic expression, did not take long to generate controversy. In the midst of the twenties, to the controversial arguments that could appear on the screen, the scandals of actors and directors outside of it were added. The tabloid press of the time was abuzz with all its explosive tribulations, riddled with murder, drugs, or death.
The movie mecca was depicted as nothing less than a scene of depravity and immorality. Among the most notorious events, we find the alleged rape and subsequent death of the unknown aspiring actress Virginia Rappe at the hands of the comedian Roscoe Arbuckle. Also widely publicized was the divorce of the then famous Mary Pickford, from her first husband Owen Moore, while she was having an affair with Douglas Fairbanks.
With the purpose of avoiding government intervention and favoring self-regulation, the heads of the cinematographic studios decided to create in 1922 the MPPDA, later called the MPAA –with the end of World War II– or the Cinematographic Association of the United States. William H. Hays was named its president and given the mission of restoring the good image of Hollywood and, at the same time, dictating the morality of its films.
In 1929, with the help of the Catholic publisher Martin Quigley and the Jesuit priest Daniel A. Lord, the code of norms was developed and, after being revised by the study leaders, it was finally adopted by the MPPDA in 1930. At first this  was called The Production Code and was later renamed for posterity as The Hays Code. In addition to some general sobering precepts, focused on preserving the morale of the films, a huge list of vigilance guidelines was drawn up that targeted sex, especially violence or blasphemy.
Tumblr media
In this way, the scenes of passion were reduced to the minimum expression. Manifestations such as kisses and hugs should eliminate any trace of lust and, of course, any explicit scene. In particular the kisses became so chaste that they were even timed, they could only last a few seconds. Marriage as an institution also had to be protected, a sign of the moralising nature of the norms.
On-screen crimes had to be shown without showing all their brutality and the use of weapons was reduced to the bare minimum. The irreverent use of language, especially if it was perceived as an offense to religion, was eliminated. These are some examples of the restrictions that the code marked and that forced the filmmakers to avoid any obvious reference.
Other rules were also the most bizarre, especially the most curious have to do with the nude. In this sense, the woman, her dress or the lack of it; they were closely supervised.
Transparencies or fabrics that excessively emphasise the shape of the female body were not allowed and the navel should not be shown under any circumstances. Men were also a cause for censure, as it was considered lewd to show the hair on the torso and it was not advisable to expose it. These observations have to do with the more inflexible nature of the censors, but even though they were exaggerated, they left a long trail of puritanism that is still felt in American cinema today.
Tumblr media
During its first years of validity, the code was observed with some permissiveness and this favored certain productions that managed to avoid its guidelines. In the midst of the Great Depression, studios couldn't afford any more losses, so they were initially reluctant to adopt a series of measures that directly affected popular genres, such as gangster movies or comedies. However, the threats of boycott by the Catholic sector of American society and the withdrawal of funds by some influential investors, forced the studios to abide by the code in force from 1934. These years were known as the Pre- Code Hollywood.
Some of the films that somehow circumvented censorship in these years were, among others, ‘The Blue Angel‘ (‘Der blaue Engel, Josef Von Sternberg, 1930) with a sensual Marlene Dietrich. Other examples include the movie (‘Baby face’, Alfred E. Green, 1933), with Barbara Stanwych openly using her charms to advance socially; or 'The Sign of the Cross' ('The Sign of the Cross', Cecil B. DeMille, 1932), centered on the time of Emperor Nero, played by Charles Laughton, shows its excesses in an overt way.
Tumblr media
Several of these Pre-Code films suffered the burden of censorship after 1934. An example is the film 'A Farewell to Arms' ('A Farewell to Arms', Frank Borzage, 1932), starring Gary Cooper and Helen Hayes, it was shortened later on so that only its censored version remains. Other professionals affected by the code were the Marx brothers - known for the audacity of their dialogues - or some actresses, such as Jean Harlow or Joan Blondell, especially the latter was vetoed on numerous occasions.
However, some creators found somehow even within the severe surveillance of the code, an incentive to challenge their ingenuity. On many occasions, difficulties are a stimulus for those  unwilling to yield before them.
That is why masters such as Ernst Lubitsch or Alfred Hitchcock knew how to circumvent censorship with their inimitable talent. His fantastic dialogues or the actions behind a closed door are two of the landmarks of Lubitsch's magic.
The famous sequence of the long interrupted kiss is also particularly insurmountable - remember that kisses could only last three seconds -, in which Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman offer us one of the most intimate scenes of Hitchcock's filmography in the marvellous 'Notorious' ('Notorious', Alfred Hitchcock, 1946).
Tumblr media
Ultimately, the demand for more realistic plots and the evolution of American society, dictated the disappearance of the Hays code in the late 1960s. This conclusion gave way to the age classification system that is preserved to this day. In addition to observing this stage in the history of cinema as a markedly restrictive time in many respects, I believe that it should also be appreciated with admiration for the talent of so many filmmakers who made their misdirection manoeuvres unrepeatable.

DANNY KAYE
January 18, 1911
Tumblr media
Danny Kaye was born David Daniel Kaminsky in Brooklyn, New York, in 1911, although he would later claim 1913.  A multi-talented performer, he was an actor, singer, dancer, comedian, and musician. A high school drop-out, Kaye's first break came in 1933 when he joined a vaudeville dance act that toured the United States and Asia.
Tumblr media
Kaye's film debut came in 1937 with a series of low-budget shorts. The series ended when the studio shut down in 1938.
Tumblr media
On Broadway, Kaye appeared in The Straw Hat Revue (1939), Lady in the Dark (1941, above center), and Let's Face It! (1941).
Tumblr media
After a significant absence, Kaye returned to Broadway in 1970 to play Noah in the musical Two By Two. When he broke his leg, he performed the role in a cast using a crutch!
Tumblr media
Kaye’s first time on television was also his first time appearing with Lucille Ball: “The 24th Annual Academy Awards.”
Tumblr media
Some of Kaye’s best-loved motion pictures include White Christmas (1954), The Court Jester (1955), and On the Riviera (1951).  In 1955, he was given an honorary Oscar for “his unique talents, his service to the Academy, the motion picture industry, and the American people.” In 1980, he was the recipient of the Academy’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.
Tumblr media
Although Kaye never appeared on “I Love Lucy” he was mentioned in the dialogue. “Lucy Meets the Queen” (ILL S5;E15) was doubtless inspired by Danny Kaye’s November 1948 Command performance for King George and Princess Elizabeth at the Palladium Theatre.
Lucy (to the Bellboy): Have you ever seen the Queen? Bellhop: No, ma'am. But I came frightful close during the coronation. I just missed her. But I did catch a glimpse of him. Lucy: Philip? Bellhop: No, ma'am. Danny Kaye.
Tumblr media
In a 1959 episode of “The Lucy–Desi Comedy Hour” Lucy complains about how many meals she’s cooked as a housewife:
Ricky (reading Variety): It says here that Danny Kaye is going to London to give another command performance for Queen Elizabeth. Lucy: I wonder what the Queen is cooking for Phil tonight?
Tumblr media
In 1960, Kaye signed a $1.5 million contract for three annual specials that would set the pattern for his later series. Lucille Ball joined him for “The Danny Kaye Show” on November 11, 1962. Because it was the first television teaming of the two famous redheads, the special was hailed as “A Television First” and was also Lucille Ball’s first appearance in color.
Tumblr media
Lucille Ball sang, danced the Twist, and did imitations of Judy Garland, Carol Channing, and Marlene Dietrich. The highlight of the special was undoubtedly their three-part sketch about the trend of internationally themed restaurants.
Tumblr media
Two years later, on November 4, 1964, Ball made a second appearance on the program.
Tumblr media
Without the use of costumes or scenery, Kaye and Lucille Ball performed a sketch about a married couple forced to fire a maid who is monopolizing the care of their baby.
Tumblr media
Danny Kaye and Lucille Ball performed “The Balloonists,” which included making playful noises with the balloons as they sing and dance, ultimately popping every balloon on the stage.
Tumblr media
The next sketch imagines what would happen if a snowstorm kept all but two actors in a traveling troupe from arriving at the theatre to perform a Victorian melodrama. It turns into a quick change act for the two actors.
Tumblr media
On December 28, 1964, Kaye repaid the favor by appearing on “The Lucy Show” in “Lucy Meets Danny Kaye” (S3;E15). Kaye played himself, and Lucy Carmichael was her usual star-struck self!
Tumblr media
In November 1965, Lucy and Danny were two of the performers on tap for a “Salute To Stan Laurel” who had died earlier in the year. The two have no scenes together.
Tumblr media
In November 1976, Kaye contributed to “CBS Salutes Lucy: The First 25 Years”.  Kaye talks about Lucy’s skill at physical comedy.
Kaye: “Calling Lucille Ball 'just’ a comedian is like calling Margot Fonteyne 'just’ a dancer.”
In 1985, Lucy and Danny were two of the celebrities in “Night of 100 Stars II” at Radio City Music Hall.
Tumblr media
In February 1986, Kaye made his final screen appearance as a Dentist on “The Cosby Show”. The role got him nominated for an Emmy Award, although he lost to Roscoe Lee Brown for a guest shot on the same series.  Coincidentally, Lucille Ball was a presenter at “The 38th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards”.
Kaye married Sylvia Fine in January 1940. They had one child (Dena) and were together until he died of heart failure on March 3, 1987, aged 76.
“Life is a great big canvas; throw all the paint you can at it.” ~ Danny Kaye

TV Guide - November 26 - December 2, 1960
John Cooper Jr. (September 15, 1922 – May 3, 2011), known as Jackie Cooper.   Actor, television director, producer and executive. He was a child actor who managed to make the transition to an adult career. Cooper was the first child actor to receive an Academy Award nomination. At age nine, he was also the youngest performer, at that time, to have been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role—an honor that he received for the film Skippy (1931).
His career was at a nadir when he starred in two popular television sitcoms, NBC’s The People’s Choice with Patricia Breslin and CBS’s Hennesey with Abby Dalton.  (Wikipedia)
Abby Dalton (born Marlene Wasden; August 15, 1932) Actress, known for her television roles on the sitcoms Hennesey (1959–1962) and The Joey Bishop Show (1962–1965), and the primetime soap opera Falcon Crest (1981–1986). (Wikipedia)
Roscoe Karns (September 7, 1891 – February 6, 1970) Actor who appeared in nearly 150 films between 1915 and 1964. He specialized in cynical, wise-cracking (and often tipsy) characters, and his rapid-fire delivery enlivened many comedies and crime thrillers in the 1930s and 1940s.
From 1950 to 1954, Karns played the title role in the popular DuMont Television Network series Rocky King, Inside Detective. His son, character actor Todd Karns, also appeared in that series.
From 1959 to 1962, Karns was cast as Captain (then Admiral) Walter Shafer in seventy-three of the ninety-five episodes of the CBS military sitcom/drama series, Hennesey, starring Jackie Cooper in the title role of a United States Navy physician, and Abby Dalton as nurse Martha Hale. (Wikipedia)
Henry Kulky (born Henry Kulakowich; August 11, 1911 – February 12, 1965) Actor and professional wrestler from Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, probably best remembered as Chief Petty Officer Curly Jones from season 1 of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
Because of his rather tough guy image, Kulky became typecast as military men, thugs, gangsters, bartenders, wrestlers and other "strong guys" who were at times quite friendly and lovable characters contrasting strongly with the tough guy image. From 1953 to 1958, he played Otto Schmidlap in the television series, The Life of Riley. In the series, Kulky portrayed a co-worker of series character Chester Riley, a wing riveter at an aircraft plant. In 1952 he appeared in an episode (#11) of Adventures of Superman, as a wrestler working for a crooked promoter. In 1954 he appeared in an episode (#141) of The Lone Ranger. From 1959 to 1962, Kulky was cast in the recurring role as Chief Max Bronsky in forty-six episodes of Jackie Cooper's CBS military sitcom/drama television series, Hennesey. The role was close to Kulky's heart because during World War II, he was a boatswain's mate in the United States Navy.
Kulky's last role was as Chief Curley Jones in the television series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.  (Wikipedia)

Fall, Year 8: Misc. Merchants
While Maureen is tending to her mirror shop, Shaun makes out with a random elderly townie.  Who is she?  How do they know each other so well?  I have no idea.
Tumblr media
Marlene and Roscoe take turns at the business.  It is doing pretty well, but I think it will be a long time before it can become the beauty shoppe I had intended.
Tumblr media
Back at home, baby Roland grows up.

And Roscoe barely scrapes together the money to pay the rent.
Tumblr media
Next door, Benjamina has baby number three, a boy named Eugene.
Tumblr media
They lose a family pet.  :(

Dorothea has her child birthday

and Cody becomes a toddler before the season is done.

This is one of my odd households that doesn’t really fit in anywhere
Daniel gives birth to a baby girl named Rochelle, with the help of a magical fertility potion.

As a vampire, he’s struggling with his health postpartum

I’m a little disappointed that Rochelle inherited the vampire trait with how difficult it has been to keep her father alive.  She’s pretty cute though.

Miodrag Pavlovic compie 80 anni.
Quest’anno compirebbe 80 anni. Erano in cinque. Compreso Rodomir. Muoiono tutti. Come posso farvi capire. Anzi. No. Non esistono classifiche al cospetto dell’assoluto. Troppo tardi.

Fall, Year 8: Laughlin / Fancey
Kay checks in on her community lots and makes a date of it with Isaac.
Tumblr media
They seem to like each other a lot.
Tumblr media
Kay also likes Isaac’s brother, Henry, but despite their high chemistry, they seem to be just friends.
Tumblr media
Justice keeps busy with his potion shop.
Tumblr media
I have him invite Alida over, so he can get to know his daughter better.  She would be ideal to inherit the potion shop, but I hate to push Kay out.  I have future plans I would like to explore for Alida and her moms, Alice and Lydia.
Tumblr media
At the Fancey/Livingston household, Cleo gives birth to baby Piper.
Tumblr media
Marlin has the day off from his intelligence job and spends it helping Chloe at the restaurant.  The place is packed.  (If only more than one sim would be seated at each table.)
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, Cleo is left home to take care of the babies.
Tumblr media
Could she be expecting again already?  Whether it’s pregnancy or illness, either would make staying home with twins and a newborn extra challenging.
Tumblr media
Marlene and Roscoe pop in from across the street for a visit. (I love how they randomly visit her family together as a couple.)
Tumblr media
The little ones are growing up.  Twins Camille
Tumblr media
and Camden leave the toddler stage
Tumblr media
and baby Piper begins the toddler years.

Year 7: Year End Review pt. 2 - Census
Here is a look at how the population of my kingdom has changed over the last simyear.
Royals (1 household, 5 sims total)
2 elders (2 female, 1 servant)
2 adults (2 female, 1 servant)
1 child (female, servant)
2 cats (1 female, 1 male)
3 dogs (2 female, 1 male, all small)
Change from previous year: No net change
Losses: Princes Laurence and Calvin graduated and have moved to the Noble Class.
Gains: Servant Lydia Mamuyac married and moved in Alice Fancey and had a daughter Alida.
Tumblr media
[In previous years I counted servants in the Royal household as household members,  Since right now the number of servants outnumbers the number of Royal family members I didn’t include Lydia or her family on the graph.  But she and Brigid were included in past years.]
______________________________________________________________
Nobles (14 households,  93 sims total)
17 elders (9 female, 8 male)
26 adults (13 female, 13 male)
13 young adults (8 female, 5 male)
16 teens (8 female, 8 male)
13 children (6 female, 7 male)
4 toddlers (2 female, 2 male)
4 babies (2 female, 2 male)
10 dogs (1 large, 9 small)
7 cats
Gentry (8 households, 39 sims total)
2 elders (1 female, 1 male)
13 adults (9 female, 4 male)
6 children (1 female, 5 male)
5 toddlers (4 female, 1 male)
3 babies (2 female, 1 male)
1 dog (female, small)
(I’m grouping together the Nobles and Gentry for comparison, since they were one class in the previous year.  I listed the numbers separately above for comparison for the next year.)
Change from previous year: +32 sims, +7 pets, +9 households
Losses: 5 deaths from sickness, 2 sims married into a lower class (Christian Burgos and Armando Burgos)
Gains: 35 births, 4 sims married into households (Prince Laurence, Prince Calvin, Rodney Collin, Owen Mace)
All of the new households are due to students returning from university.  Aisha and Samira’s household and Miranda and Calvin’s household are new to the Noble Class.  Elodie’s household was bumped to Gentry.  I’m still including Brett’s household as a Noble household for now, even though I didn’t include him in the rankings.
Tumblr media
[The graph above is the combined totals for Nobility and Gentry.]
______________________________________________________________
Merchants (18 households, 82 sims total)
22 elders (11 female, 11 male)
34 adults (16 female, 18 male)
9 teens (4 female, 5 male)
4 children (2 female, 2 male)
4 toddlers (2 female, 2 male)
9 babies (4 female, 5 male)
13 dogs (6 female, 7 male / 8 large, 5 small)
6 cats (3 female, 3 male)
Change from previous year: +19 sims, +12 pets, +6 households
Losses: 2 deaths from old age (Allyn Livingston, Colby Schamess), 1 death from sickness (Nathaniel Carpenter), 4 marriage into another class (Rodney Collin, Jay Collin, Walter Smith, Alice Fancey), 1 moved out (Anton Smith.)
Gains: 16 births, 5 sims married or moved in (Christian Burgos, Abraham, Aldous, Armando Burgos, Pamela Chun), 6 sims were from unofficial households that I counted this time (Ralph, Roy, Robin, Griffin, Clark, Phoebe).
The new households are the Bransfield household and Shankel household (who were in the kingdom before, but not counted) Chun (Pamela and Armando), Guevara (Marlene and Roscoe), Fancey (Marissa and Aldous), and Carpenter 2 (Benjamina and Abraham.) In my previous census I had 13 Merchant households numbered, but only 12 listed, so I’m not sure who else I was counting.  My other numbers only add up if I assume I didn’t include the Bransfield and Shankel households before.
Tumblr media
_____________________________________________________
Peasants (16 households, 78 sims total)
11 elders (5 female, 6 male)
33 adults (14 female, 19 male)
9 teens (3 female, 6 male)
14 children (9 female, 5 male)
9 toddlers (5 female, 4 male)
2 babies (0 female, 2 male)
12 dogs (6 female, 6 male / 10 large, 2 small)
3 cats (2 female, 1  male)
Change from previous year: +29 sims, +4 pets, +5 households
Losses: 2 deaths from sickness (Janice and Robert), 3 married into another class (Drake, Aldous and Abraham)
Gains: 24 births, 10 married or moved in
Tumblr media
_______________________________________________________
The percentage of sims in each class is still staying fairly constant.  Upper class sims (Royals, Nobles, and now Gentry) account for 46% of the kingdom.  At the end of Year 6 they made up 47%.  Merchants have gone down a little from 31% to 28%.  Peasants have gone up slightly from 23% to 27%.
All classes are experiencing growth.  90 new sims were added to the kingdom this year.  That is twice as many new sims from the previous two years.  (Year 6 saw 46 new sims and Year 5 added 48 new sims.)
Tumblr media
[The red line for Upper class sims is Royalty, Nobility and Gentry combined and closer to where the Nobility line would be if I hadn’t separated the Gentry from the Nobility.]
_______________________________________________________
Supernatural Sims
14 vampires
7 werewolves
5 witches (2 good, 2 neutral, 1 evil)
2 aliens (1 half-alien, 1 quarter-alien)
This is my first time counting supernatural sims specifically, but since the numbers have been growing, I thought it would be something interesting to keep track of over time.
________________________________________________________
Maximum Aspiration Acknowledgement
As I was entering data for my points system I noticed a lot of sims had the same number of aspiration points and discovered that aspiration points max out at a certain value.  So for these sims (and sims in this situation in the future) I will be purchasing aspiration reward items so that they can keep earning points.  The sims that reached maximum aspiration points are:
Queen Rosalin
Prince Florian
Nicolette Durden
Erin Cade
Tobias King (Looking back through my records he is the only sims that was also at maximum points the previous year.  So nothing he did this entire year counted.)
Cora Burgos
Clare Peasant
_____________________________________________________________
In Memorium
Joy Mace (80)

Spring, Year 7: Marlene / Benjamina / Marsha and Blazej
Marlene and Roscoe welcome their first child.
Tumblr media
It’s a baby girl named Maureen.
Tumblr media
Cleo and Pierce come strolling from across the street to meet the new addition to the family.  (I really like that they literally live across the street from the apartment complex.  I wish the game would reflect that by them visiting each other more often.  I also like that they seem to be making a grand entrance.  Like hey, we’re here.  Let's get this party started.  I think they’re going to be a good couple.)
Tumblr media
Maureen grows into a toddler.
Tumblr media
Marlene and Roscoe are both unemployed.  So in the meantime I force them to take up fishing to support themselves.
Tumblr media
Next door Benjamina and Abraham are not shy about expressing their love out in the commons.  I know it’s early and no one is out and about yet, but there are more private places you two can go.
Tumblr media
I guess it comes as no surprise when Benjamina starts experiencing morning sickness.
Tumblr media
Ladybug has puppies!
Tumblr media
Since they are short on funds I have them sell the puppies instead of giving them to the adoption pool.  With the help of the visitor controller my walkbys stop in to play with the puppies.
Abraham has no problem selling the puppies.  Prince Elton takes the girl puppy, Clover,
Tumblr media
and Leander takes Rocky back to the tavern.  I would have offered one to Princess Lila, but the castle has enough pets that they have trouble keeping track of.  I think Abraham would be happy to sell all the dogs, but I have him keep the third puppy, Beetle.
Tumblr media
Laughing at the baby with a dirty diaper?  Very mature . . .
Tumblr media
The couple spends time getting to know their neighbors.
Tumblr media
Don’t talk to Jarrod about how he’s growing up . . .
Tumblr media
Speaking of growing up, Benjamina and Abraham’s son Cody has his toddler birthday.
Tumblr media
Random apartment roommate (probably):  Want me to set you up on a blind date?  I know someone who would be perfect for you.
Abraham: Uh, I don’t think my wife would approve.  Sorry.
Tumblr media
Abraham: In case you haven’t noticed, we already have a toddler son and she’s about to have our second child any time now.
Tumblr media
Benjamina and Abraham’s second child is a girl.  Her name is Dorothea.
Tumblr media
I added this drafting table to the hobby lot this round and it was selling fast because it was only a dollar in the catalogue, but it was a perfect purchase for Marsha who works in the architecture field.  She can still do her work while she stays home with the baby.
Tumblr media
Marsha and Blazej get a roommate, who hogs the bathroom.  He was in that bubble bath for HOURS, until he had to leave for work.  (I think it was the settings on the visitor controller that kept him from leaving the tub.)  They were both getting fed up with him.
Tumblr media
Before the season is done, baby Mabel becomes a toddler.
