So, I said recently I was on a Miraculous Ladybug mood; but then I bought Hogwarts Legacy so... Now an AU mixing the two have popped! OuO The main house of each character was hard to choose honestly : - Marinette would be like Hermione; either a Ravenclaw nor a Gryffindor; but since she's kinda a brain and act more cautiously in usual; I tend for the Ravenclaw one. - Alya is a brainy reporter too; more on the strategy that on the battlefield so she became Ravenclaw easily. - For me, Adrien would be either Gryffindor..or Hufflepuff! Yeah, his main goal in like is to make friend, and you can't find more caring than him. However, he likes actions, much shown in his Chat Noir alter ego and is the one taking the punches for his lady, sometimes too taken by his emotions. So gryffindor he became. - Same for Nino; but I feel like although he have moment when he act before thinking; he is always angry for the someone else's sake ( except jealousy, but no matter your Hogwarts house, I'm pretty sure everybody could react the same). But, this is the way I see them; so what do you think? Are you agreeing with these house I choose? For the little story : Master Fu would be a teacher interested in spiritual beings (or something like that), giving kwamis to the students that made good impression before him to defend Hogwarts against the akumas sent by Hawkmoth the Death Eater, able to brainwash the students. But thanks to the ancient powers; Magibug and Chat Noir defeat him. Hawkmoth being also an influent teacher, father of Adrien; trying to revive his spouse, a powerfull mage woman ( and Adrien could be an hidden Horcruxes of his mother if we push things far, far ,far!! OuO). Yeah well, your basic MLB x Hogwarts then.

Good Friends, a Miraculous Adrienette fanfic

Marinette: (determined to get over Adrien)

Marinette: (pulls out a lighter and her self-made scrapbook filled with pictures of his face and her dreams of their future with three kids and a hamster, and prepares her heart to be willing to set the representation of what they could have, what she wanted them to have on fire)

Marinette: This is it. I'm going to get over you now.

(Suddenly, there is a ringing noise.)

Marinette: (checks at her phone to see it's Adrien Agreste)

Marinette: (curses because her heart still skips a beat)

Adrien:

Marinette: (painfully, slowly, heartbreakingly presses the answer button)

Adrien: Hi Marinette!

Marinette: He-hey Adrien. Ho-how are you? What's up?

Adrien (sounding shy): Nothing really. It's just... it's the anniversary of mom's disappearance and I was wondering... Would- would it be okay if I visit you? I just don't want to be alone now. But if you're busy or have plans, it's okay! I just-

Marinette: (smiles tearfully)

Marinette: Hey Adrien.

Adrien (bashfully, hopefully, dares to ask): Ye-yeah?

Marinette: Pack a bag. I'll call Nino and Alya. We're having a slumber party.

Adrien (bursts out a sob) : Thank you Marinette!

Marinette: (cries with him)

Marinette: No problem. I'll see you later.

Adrien: Yeah! I'll see you. Thank you again. It means-

Marinette: We're friends, aren't we? That's what friends do. You do always say I'm your really good friend.

Adrien:

Marinette: (frowns, growing worried at the long silence)

Marinette: Adrien? You still there?

.

Meanwhile, in the Agreste Mansion...

Adrien: (is seen sitting before his computer, scrolling through pictures he took that were taken from different stages of their friendship)

(There are many wacky pics of all four of them. Some of them with just Nino and Alya. Some of them with Marinette and Alya. Some of them with Nino and Adrien. Some with Marinette and Nino. But there are those that Adrien takes longer to look at... Pictures of himself and a certain really good friend)

Adrien: Yes, sorry, I'm... I got lost in thought.

Marinette: Oh. Uhm, look, I know you're not okay but I can't do much on the phone so-

Adrien: (is shaking his head even if she couldn't see him)

Adrien: No, no, please don't think that. You're doing plenty! Honestly!

Marinette: Hmm...So, I'll see you then?

Adrien: Ye-yes. Thank you again Mari.

Marinette: Yeah. Bye for now Adrien.

Adrien: Bye.

.

Adrien takes a deep breath and moves his mouse to open another folder. This one is password protected, and only he knows it exists.

Plagg (flies to look over his chosen's shoulder) : That again? My, my, my. What a really good friend indeed.

Adrien: (gulps, ignoring him to scroll through the items inside. Solo pictures of his good friend in different poses, all secretly taken by him when she wasn't looking. He clicks on one and then two. The third shows his personal favorite. A Marinette Dupein-Cheng in mid laugh, hair down with the sunset making it look like she's glistening)

Adrien: Yeah.

Because good friends make it easy for you to breathe. To live another day. They make you feel like yourself, and make you want to see them when things are bad, and make you want to be with them to celebrate your moments of triumph. Good friends help and encourage you to be better, to dream and to fight for your dreams...

Adrien (smiles tearily, mumbling to himself): But is it okay if in that future, I still want you there by my side? Still a good friend, but also more... Maybe tomorrow, I'll let you know.

Ladybug/Chat Noir

Ok, I’m just going to rant here for a minute about the relationship that these two have. And I mean Ladybug with Chat Noir vs Marinette with Adrien vs Ladybug with Adrien vs Marinette with Chat Noir.

LadybugxCat Noir is incredibly problematic. She always expects blind trust without giving him even an ounce until he has proven above and beyond that he would actually die for her.

MarinettexAdrien is adorable but honestly watching the one-sided pining is a little awkward. They are both so awkward individually let alone together. That being said, it is incredibly cute, and can definitely see why people enjoy it.

LadybugxAdrien is adorable. That’s it. They are both head over heels in love with each other. But it definitely seems like puppy love, they don’t know anything about each other in these forms, except for what they put out to the public. She knows Adrien as the model, the poster boy. And he sees her as this unattainable heroine that is larger than life.

MarinettexChat Noir is by far my absolute favorite of these pairings. They seem to actually see each other as people like this, there is no trying to impress each other. This is who the other one wants to talk to when everything goes to shit. They seem to love each other as friends, which is the best thing I think that could’ve happened from these two.
