can we talk about how so many of us practically grew up with noragami? many of us here are now adults who have liked this series since we were kids. we really stuck around long enough to see it through to the end. it's commendable, honestly. waiting in agony every month for whatever hell adatchitoka wanted us to go through was an experience in itself, and this comment made me chuckle thinking about it.

well, they weren't wrong! i have so much love for this series and the journey i had with it from start to finish. noragami is never leaving my heart and mind, and this sick empty feeling when a series i love ends will haunt me for the rest of my days. thank you for all these years. goodbye noragami <3

Hi! I've been seeing bsd on your blog(is that what it's called? I'm new to tumblr) and I was wondering in what order to read the manga? there's so much content that it's confusing me lol

The thing about Bungou Stray Dogs is that the manga can be read as it is, without anything else, but if you want to have more depth into characters & details.

There's the light novels which are side stories from the main plot, like Dazai's entrance exam, Stormbringer, The origin of the detective agency, 15 soukoku, etc.

An order for the light novel in releasing dates

1. Osamu Dazai's entrance exam

2. Dazai Osamu to kuro no jidai

3. The untold origin of the detective agency

4. 55 minutes

6. Dead apple

7. BSD Beast

8. 15 soukoku

9. Stormbringer

There's also the current going of 15 Soukoku drawn by Shiwasu Hoshikawa (Which also illustrated BSD Beast if you wanna read the manga)

We have BSD Wan which is our piece of fluff. Little chibis of our characters being silly, animated & also on manga.

#you ask i answer #side note: the BSD Beast is an alternative universe so it isn't directly connected to the main story so you can leave that at last if desire #What i remember doing is watching like the first season & then i just run around to learn about the novels & the rest #it's hard to find the novel online as well. so only a few can read them #unless you buy the books #There's also information given by a lot of people #do not trust tiktok information on bsd tho.#it's a wild ride #if you are curious about bsd please make sure you read the trigger warnings because they're something of the manga that can be triggering #it's a good story with a really good plot but it's also not easy to read so take caution with it.

So I finished Beast in tears ffs

This story is insane. The premise is insane. I lost my mind as an Akutagawa girly. I can't believe it ended like that. This story made me realise how much more I need from Gin, Kenji, Tanizaki and Naomi in our main story. I want to curl up into a ball and cry, thinking about Dazai and Oda. I need think about this more.

God I keep thinking about how Dungeon Meshi is listed solely as a comedy on Netflix (and everywhere else) and so many people are getting into it as a funny and accessible monster-of-the-week story and have no idea what's coming**

To answer the question, I think it's probably between rin, nagi and isagi. Rin makes me laugh because he speaks like he has a whole pinterest board full of emo/edgy quotes that he consults daily for inspiration, nagi because he just says whatever comes to mind with zero filters, often to comedic timing, and isagi... Well, isagi because he's constantly like 'no way in hell I'm doing that' and then two seconds later he is doing exactly that and pissing in your cereal for daring to think he never would do it. They're all very entertaining. Tho ngl, everyone in this manga likely made me laugh at some point. Especially when they act that intense for no reason at all

#Bllk reads like a comedy to me not a high stakes challenge #Probably bc I don't care about soccer #Or egoism #I'm much more of a power of friendship kind of person so this manga has been a Wild Ride of subverting my expectations #Often I laugh because of that #None of the characters act like I expect and that's funny #Ali replies #Oh I almost forgot to mention #But one thing that always cracks me up is reo and the toothbrush skit in the anime #I'm almost there in my reread and I'm curious to see if it's gonna be there in the manga too #(I'm a reo defense lawyer but I will say...
