The 500-year wait is over! Lord Ram is home!! Check out the full timeline:🔽🔽 - 1528: According to the history books, Babur's general Mir Baq was in charge of constructing the Babri masjid at the place where Lord Ram was born. The old temple was destroyed to construct the mosque.
- 1530-65: Unverified reports suggest communal violence over the Mandir-Masjid debate and Akbar, the then Mughal ruler, set up a common platform for worship. - 1853-85: After almost 330 years, communal violence erupts again. The British Empire sets up partitions and Mahant Das’s plea to build a canopy above the platform is denied. - 1949: The turning point comes when the idol of Lord Ram appears from inside the mosque. According to Muslims, the idol was placed inside the mosque by a radical Hindu outfit. As both parties file multiple lawsuits, the situation gets more complicated.
- 1950-61: Multiple lawsuits are filed and other parties join the fray with both sides claiming the land as theirs. - 1983-1989: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) starts a nationwide move to build a temple and legal tensions flare up. Muslims set up the Babri Masjid Committee and the former VP of the VHP files a suit on behalf of Lord Ram to get possession and the first stone for the temple is laid. - 1990: BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani’s Rath Yatra from Somnath to Ayodhya saw thousands of volunteers march as they partially damaged the mosque in a scuffle that left scores dead. - 1992: The bloodiest event in the Mandir-Masjid dispute as Hindu volunteers demolish the mosque and a bloody battle erupts throughout the nation. Over 2,000 were reported dead. A small tent is set up where the idol is placed for worship. - 2002: PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee sets up an Ayodhya cell and the Allahabad HC judges begin determining ownership of the site. - 2003: The Archaeological Survey of India begins surveying the area and a survey reveals the existence of a temple’s remains beneath the mosque. Muslims challenge the findings as tensions continue. - 2010: The disputed land is split into 3 parts where one went to the Hindus, another to the Muslims, and the final one to the Nirmohi Akhara. - 2011: All 3 parties approach the Supreme Court to challenge the Allahabad HC’s judgment and the SC issues a stay on the order. - 2015-18: The SC removes all irrelevant parties from the lawsuit as the matter gets more sensitive during that time. - 2019: After a failed mediation attempt, a five-judge bench announces a judgment in favor of the Hindus, and the Muslims are allotted 5 acres for the construction of another mosque. - 2020: PM Narendra Modi lays the foundation stone for the construction alongside a commemorative plaque and a special postage stamp. - 22nd January 2024: The temple is officially consecrated and Lord Ram, who has been in a tent since 1992, is unveiled for worship in a state-of-the-art temple. Hathras Tulsi Sahibi Satsang Discourses: Sant Mat Spirituality
Tumblr media
Complete Mahatmas, Genuine Saints came to the world in their respective times and kept on emancipating the living beings who were connected with them.  On completion of their time, they left the body as per the will of the Lord and went to the Lord and left their work [their spiritual mission] to the other saints when departing.
** Actually God appears through the medium of the Master, the Guru, so we have to search for a living Master.**
"Complete and imperishable (permanent) benefit is available only through the living Guru. In him is the magnetic power of the Great Consciousness or the dynamic Consciousness, the touch of which creates power in us and connects our soul to the Current of the Word (ātmā ko Shabda) that rises to the spiritual plane." She (the Sound Current) helps us by being with our organs. [The Shabd/Sound Current is the vital life force of the body.] Very fortunate is that soul who takes shelter of such a supreme saint (param santa kī sharaṇ)."
INITIATION Into Surat Shabd Yoga: ** The Jivatma (soul) being given Shabda is the first step of Guru devotion (guru bhakti). **
"Mercy of Satguru Sahib
"Only with the grace of the master, the knowledge of the path of Naam is obtained. The Complete Satguru, the true Saint, is the real form of Naam or Word. That's why the Sound is revealed within them. Only by breaking the bonds of mind, illusion and time is one free from the cycle of transmigration. The Naam is only something the soul experiences, which is possible only through the Master (the guidance, teachings and mentoring of the living master).
"Sahib ji teaches the meditation of Surat-Shabd or Sound yoga.
1) Surat is called soul, the attention faculty of the soul.
2) The Sound creates and permeates the whole universe.
3) The Surat, the soul, carefully focuses upon that musical Naam (the Word), listening and merging into the Sound.
4) By holding the stream of that Sound, the surat-soul returns to it's core, it's essence.
5) This practice can be learnt through training by a complete saint, a Satguru. Only a present teacher, a living teacher, can teach this sadhana, this spiritual practice.
6) This practice is simple so it is also called Sahaja Yoga, easy or natural yoga, the yoga of Sound.
7) There is no boundary or barrier of country, caste, sect, etc..., for this practice. All are welcome.
There is no need to sacrifice the world or give up your worldly duties for successful meditation.
This path is the way to die while living, the body of the seeker starts to numb. Due to full concentration in Simran, the soul is concentrated in the third eye behind the eyes and one merges into the Sound. That's why the soul tastes the nectar, the bliss, and shines in the light of the Sound. In this situation, the the seeker becomes unaware of the outside world. This is the situation of dying while alive [death before dying].  Sahib ji says:
"The stream of Sound is the Word of the Lord in the whole universe or cosmos. This Word is the consciousness stream that reaches everything in the cosmos from the creator (the Supreme Being). This is the stream he created to connect the whole, the All. This is what he is nurturing in all. The Word or Sound is our foundation. By holding the notes of the same tune, the Divine Sound, you can get back to your core, your essence, and merge into It."
In our scriptures, there are many types of yogas like Hatha yoga, Mantra Yoga, Laya yoga, Raja yoga, etc…, but all of these remain confined to the limits of body and mind, have not been said to free the soul from the trap of mind and illusion.
The true master practices the spiritual Sound and Light that comes from beyond. By these methods of meditation, the soul becomes introverted through regular practice and hears the Melodious Sound within, and the soul reaches where the Sound is emanating from. This is the goal of the practice of Surat-Shabd-Yoga.

The Cave of Veda Vyasa…!! At a distance of 5.5 km from Badrinath Bus Stand, Vyas Cave is an ancient cave located on the banks of Saraswati River at Mana village in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Mana is the last Indian village situated at Indo-China Border. Vyas Gufa is believed to be the place where sage Vyas composed the Mahabharata epic with the help of Lord Ganesha. He also composed 18 Puranas, Brahma Sutras and four Vedas. Maharishi Vyas statue is installed in the caves and worshiped by the pilgrims. A distinct feature of the temple is the roof which resembles the pages from the collection of his holy scripts. There is also an interesting story related to the place that explains the broken tusk of Lord Ganesh. When Vyas was composing Mahabharata, he needed someone to take down his dictation and asked the learned Ganesha for the same. Ganesh agreed but he had a condition - that Vyas would not stop even for a moment or else he would stop writing and leave. Vyas dictating as fast as he could and Ganesh bent down over the script pages. Finally, his reed pen broke. To which, he broke off a part of his tusk to be used as a pen thereon. Ganesha cave is also located in nearby area below the Vyas cave. Near this temple, is a natural rock that rests over the river known as Bhim pul. Further 3 km upward climb from Vyas Gufa is another cave called the Muchukand Gufa. It is associated with the story of Lord Krishna who had tactfully led to the demise of the demon Kaal Yawan here by Sage Muchukand. It is said that the footprints of Lord Krishna can still be seen in the cave. . . . . . #vyas #vedvyas #mana #cave #badrinath #uttarakhand #rohitgpt009 #tourism #mountain #india #indianvillage #mandir #temple (at Vyas Gufa) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqHw1bzPglM/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

On Hinduism 🕉️
So for the past 2.5-3 years I’ve been studying Hinduism and incorporating aspects of Hindu Spirituality into my personal practice.
This has been an amazing journey for me, and as a child who was raised Catholic but had many Hindu friends - this fulfills part of my inner child.
I always wanted to go to the Hindu and Sikh festivals my friends went to, always wanted to learn more about their gods, and always wanted to better understand the Mandir’s they had in their homes. But I wasn’t allowed to, and so I was left wanting almost all of my childhood.
In 2021 I made a friend at my first post-college job who has a multitude of vibrant intersecting identities. She is Indo-Caribbean, and a trans woman, and a practicing witch, and a model, and an activist, and so so much more - but she is also Hindu.
Her gentle hands helped to guide me into this path that is now a piece of who I am spiritually, and I can’t express my gratitude in her accepting me into her faith and spirituality.
I’ve now celebrated Diwali and Navratri, as well as held many personal Puja’s in my home. I’ve been to a few different Mandir’s in my area - but found that I prefer a solitary practice (and felt very uncomfortable in those spaces, due to my trauma with organized religion).
I’m not sure that I’d call myself Hindu, it feels like my practice is too mixed with other influences to claim that label, but I would like to think that I am spiritual aligned with many aspects of Hinduism.
I’m in the early stages of developing a relationship and devotional practice to Sarasvati and Shailputri, and I’m *so* excited to be starting this new journey.
Thank you for reading, Namaskar 🙏🏻
