I just went on the Google overview page for Transformers: EarthSpark and I am ecstatic that EarthSpark lovers are fighting back! After the recent garbage news segment from yesterday was broadcasted, a lot of EarthSpark haters were quick to post videos bashing TFE on YT and all the socials. But I am seeing a lot of recent 5 star reviews. Some from 28 minutes ago or an hour ago and it just makes me so happy! I actually made an IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes account just to create more positive reviews to help fight back.

there's no way the adult bots in Earthspark haven't magnetised their plating at least once in order to stick one of the Terrans on their frame like an electro-magnetic baby carrier while trying to address some shit the others are doing, lmao

like, I don't have enough arms to deal with this, I'll just stick this one to my chest while running to stop the others from accidentally dying

maybe Nightshade gets curious about how powerlines work, so they start flying up to check it out and Bumblebee just grabs them out of the air like "NOPE, THAT'S NOT HOW WE LEARN ABOUT ELECTRICITY"

meanwhile Thrash is about to slam himself in the helm with his wheel boomerang move during battle practice, gotta intercept that before anyone gets a processor injury

so Nightshade gets magnetised while Bee grabs the wheel before it can ricochet

Hashtag is about to share slightly too much information on social media, gotta grab their phone, go go go go

the sheer chaos, lmao

but also this could be very cute, like Megatron magnetising Twitch to his chest in order to teach her some combat moves or defensive melee forms without risking her getting hit or stepped on :')

bonus: similar to a Cone of Shame situation, Optimus might magnetise Bumblebee to his chest after Dorothy raises some concerns to Optimus about Bee's combat training with the Terrans.

it's nothing too serious but Optimus wants a captive audience to be sure his commentary is heard and noted, so Bee just sighs and accepts being magnetised while Optimus gives him some leaderly advice, lmao

this vaguely has the same vibe as cats carrying kittens around by the scruff, which is also fun

All the framed photos! I see a one of young Alex and Dot, one of Robby in a fly outfit, one of Dot holding baby Mo (I think?), Alex with the kids. Also the unframed family photos in that shot of the stairwell from above! I'd love if one of the ES team posted those full renders somewhere!

Robby's room: the poster for "My Enemy's University" with all the text mirrored for some reason, a redrawn Allen Iverson poster, an Optimus poster, RUN ROBOT RUN (with the Japanese subtitle reading "big robot"), and ＮＥＷ　ＦＬＡＶＯＲ　ＳＡＭＥ　ＳＬＵＤＧＥ

Mo's room: lucha posters also with gratuitous Japanese text (including "lucha," "cat," and "today" but backwards, and "only at" something—it's too blurry for me to read the characters), plus a 1984 poster with a Transformer on it.

All the little details really help the home come to life. So many props to the TF Earthspark team for all their hard work!

Ok hi I'm back and I took down some notes of all the new info in the Earthspark Guidebook

It wasn't much but it's something.

• For a brief (unspecific) period, an underground laboratory in San Francisco contained the Allspark.

• Dot and Megatron first met when she was helping injured Cybertronians, including Decepticons, where Megatron realized that Dot cared more about his soldiers than he ever did.

• Megatron did originally want to change his Cybertronian alt mode, but when Astrotrain was attacking he had no choice but to scan an aerial mode to take the fight to the skies.

• The last battle of the Transformers war was fought in San Francisco.

• Optimus and Megatron enlisted a captive Soundwave to use Teletraan-1 in order to find out whether the Allspark made it to Cybertron. According to Soundwave, Teletraan-1 couldn't contact or locate Cybertron leaving Megatron to believe that the Allspark did not complete it's journey home.

• Nobody knows exactly when GHOST was created

• As the deleted scene shows, Starscream was the cause of Shockwave's release.

• Soundwave agreed to assist in determining the Allspark's whereabouts as a way to collect secret data.

• Nightshade and Hashtag took inspiration from their favorite TV show, Changeliens, when they built the security system for the dugout.

Here is my BIG hand, little hand/hand holding compilation that I've been meaning to post...

**Probably spoilers**

I absolutely LOVE the scene in "Secret Legacy" when Mo slowly lets go of Thrash's hand as he's about to enter the G.H.O.S.T. truck. I really felt the sadness in this scene, and the music and close-up shots really help you sympathize with these characters.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! 🥹 This is such a sweet moment from "Mooo-ving In" when Dot comforts Bee! "Thanks, Lieutenant Malto." **squeals** (also, looks like there is a possible animation error on Dot's shirt sleeve?)

Tiny hands!!!!!

These shots (also from "Mooo-ving In") are just sooo precious! The size comparison is insane! Bee's hands are MASSIVE compared to the Malto kids' hands. It's just so adorable seeing their tiny hands grip his fingers. 🥹🥹🥹

Taken from "Age of Evolution" when Mo helps Jawbreaker with his name and she grips one of his fingers with both her hands, and I just can't!!! Too cute!

And of course, THESE SHOTS RIGHT HERE! AHHHHH!!! SOOO PRECIOUS!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 I am just at a loss for words because this scene is so adorable. Taken from "Warzone". Her hand is so tiny!!!! ☺️

Also taken from "Warzone". I really like the scene when Mo finds Thrash sitting alone after he leaves the group to gather his thoughts. And I especially like that Mo said she was there to listen while Thrash expressed his feelings regarding the war, and how the Terrans are the new hope for a brighter future. The music that plays as they both return to the group while holding hands, and just the whole comfort scene is just so beautiful! 🥲

I'll probably make more BIG hand, little hand/hand holding comps in the future when more episodes become available.

A Witwicky Fresh Start

After his name was wiped from the memory of everyone he loved, Peter Parker shelved his Spider-Man activities. Recent events still fresh in his mind, he along with his cybertronian guardian, pack up what little items he had left and move to a small town in Pennsylvania named Witwicky. Taking up a job at the local ranger’s office as a desk clerk, he meets his new boss Dorothy Malto, who just so happens to be his new neighbor.

Slowly, things seem to be almost normal again, and Peter finally takes a breath of fresh air. It feels like he can breath freely again without the world trying to stab him in the back. Unfortunately, the world has a new set of cards to play as one day he shows up to work only to be met with a G.H.O.S.T. agent.

While not hearing much of the conversation between Dorothy and the G.H.O.S.T. agent, Peter can tell something’s up. Between the hushed secrecy of the conversation and Dorothy’s sudden shift in mood, it doesn’t take long to realize his boss is working closely with G.H.O.S.T.

Still not over the past and G.H.O.S.T. around every corner, Peter steps up his game, becoming cautious, desperate to keep the only friend and family he has left. He’s determined not to fail again. He can’t lose anyone else, not again.

Meanwhile, Dorothy gets a new desk clerk who she couldn’t be more curious about. Peter Parker was a young man no older than 18 and a mystery to her. She can’t find anything about him previously, but all his credentials are there.

Getting information out of him is like a puzzle. She has a few pieces but no where near enough to complete the picture. Peter is a hard worker and a genuinely nice kid. Dot knows there isn’t a strong reason for her to investigate him further than what he’s shared but there’s something about him that makes her curious. Maybe it was the fact that he doesn’t have any parents, maybe it’s because he’s so young, or maybe it’s the fact that he reminds her of her own children…

Whatever it is, she feels the need to find out this kid’s mysteries and help him whatever way she can.

Her curiosity only deepens after Peter walks in on a meeting with a G.H.O.S.T. agent. While she’s certain he didn’t hear any of it after finishing it somewhere else, the kid seemed fidgety afterwards. He seems flighty and nervous, cautious even. Not to mention he becomes even more closed off. The look in his eyes are that of pure fear. Like he’s scared of something. Those same eyes that already showed so much hurt and sadness.

Peter Parker is a mystery, one she’s even more determined to figure out.

⚠️ Spoiler for Earthspark ⚠️

I just finished watching the newest episodes and I can't wait for the rest of them! The show continues to exceed my expectations with how well written all the main characters are shown, especially the Malto family, as well as the plot of each episode that are so engaging to watch, the fight scenes, all it was just MUAH 🥰🥰 (My comments don't go in an order of episodes lmfao)

They've tackled a number of topics normally I wouldn't see it being addressed like racism, xenophobia, generation related trauma (Thrash being upset that the new generation of Terrans are "facing problems caused by the previous generation and the expectations to clean up their messes"), gender identity (how alt modes are very tied to their identity) and omfg they include some other messed up shit like bots fighting in the arena to get energon (Sounds very familiar hmmm) and hint hint of Mandroid becoming more mechanical??? ALSO GHOST IS GROWING EVEN MORE SUS ESPECIALLY WITH AGENT CROFT I HATE HER ALR I WANNA KILL HER

I fucking love Megatron in this show, my god he just usurp Optimus' role as the father here (Or grandpa in this case). I mean, HE TOOK THE MALTOBOTS TO THE WAR MEMORIAL TO TELL EM OLD STORIES ABOUT THE WAR TO TEACH THEM TO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES AS THE PREVIOUS GENERATION AND I 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 (THE FLOWERS BEING A REFERENCE TO IDW WHERE EACH PETAL OF THE FLOWERS REPRESENT A LIFE LOST JUST KILLED ME RIGHT THERE)

AND NIGHTSHADE AND TARANTULAS,,, bunch of science nerds can relate ifhkdnksj,, I would die happy if Tarantulas can make a comeback to see Nightshade again and be his second papa like how Wheeljack is second papa to Twitch 🥺🥺❣️💕

My boy Jawbreaker,, I really love how he wasn't forced to choose an altmode so soon and it just going to get a lot more impactful when he finally scans an altmode that he feels is right for him! He so autistic coded and I luv it when Megatron and Elita explained to him how they got their alt modes and what it meant for them (ELITA SOFTIE MOMENT IS JUST 😭😭💞💕💞💕💞)

God, the dynamic of the Malto bots is just so super wholesome and so tightly knitted, but Twitch grew up too fast,, They all need fucking therapy, especially Hashtag my poor girl 😭

I fucking hate Mandroid with a passion, he's so hateable and punchable and killable

I wont be talking about that mutatued horror of a bear also is that fucking allowed in a kids show???

I dont know how, but Bumblebee dangling and restrained while his energon is drained is... Making me feel something. Also, he and Breakdown...

I cried and eyed so hard at that slowed down scene where Breakdown through Bumblebee and they both starin at each other like... 👁👁🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈?

ALSO, FIRST MEGATRON GOT RESTRAINED AND ALMOST GOT HIS ARM CUT OFF, NEXT BUMBLEBEE IS RESTRAINED WHILE BEING DRAINED OF ENERGON TO FUEL THE MACHINES, WHO THE FUCK IS NEXT???

Now....

I am a huge Optimus stan, so I have a bit of bitterness at the fact that throughout 11-18, he was barely involved. Like

WHERE DID YOU GO???

WHERE WERE YOU???

DID YOU SUDDENLY RUN OFF TO FIND MILK???

God, I love Optimus as a whole, even in this show but he seems so... Distant? I mean, I'm not hating the writers and animators for the lack of Optimus screentime, it's just me being a bit salty (Though I am a Megatron simp too at this point so my thirst has been at least quenched by him). I really hope there's more screentime of him (Especially him and Megatron becuz first few episodes the both were lowkey 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈) and we get a bigger picture of his role in the show in the future episodes. He barely talks to the Maltos and the Terrans, he's barely seen anywhere in the recent episodes, hell where the hell was he when the jailbreak happened???

Tldr; Love the show so much, but where's fucking Optimus

since i am so normal i started up an earthspark warrior cats au and then my friends (hi friends @echoblaze5 @benadrylcandlewhack @velvety-vixen @badgerdigsbones @satellitedish38) brainstormed more ideas for it so big thanks to them. anyways here's the stuff under the cut:

okay so i'm still chipping away at actual plot but the current sort of story is that megatron (he's called stoneheart in this au and badger came up with that name so ty badger) led his own clan that was basically the decepticons and went to war with the autobot clan. at a certain point he has a bit of a change of heart and is like "so guys. maybe this fighting isn't worth it"

his warriors are understandably like "dude what the fuck do you mean. we've been fighting for YOU and now you're backing out. traitor" and he ends up getting chased out. optimus (who i havent thought of a name for yet) is like "oh you silly goose. if you want peace then come on over and live with us!!!"

it's. a big adjustment.

he goes from stonestar to stoneheart and literally no one but optimus trusts him because they used to be pretty tight

also this has no big impact on the plot but i thought it'd be cool if autoclan (that is NOT their actual name i am working on it!!!) lived in a cave on a mountain and decepticlan (again not their name) lived on an island in a lake to sort of resemble how things were in g1. you know with the ark in the mountain and the nemesis underwater. yeah you get it

ANYWAAAYSSS. decepticlan's a bit messy after they drove out stoneheart because they didn't really think that far ahead, it all just kind of happened. starscream (who i'm gonna call finchshriek for now) is like "guys i'm the deputy so duh i'm the leader"

back in autoclan barn cats dot and alex join with their apprentice-aged kits robby and mo!!! most of the humans r probably kittypets (suggested by echo) but the maltos are barn cats and they r small enough to lay on fluffy ears

everyone loves fluffy ears

eventually dot and alex have two more kits, twitchkit and thrashkit! because yeah if we can have kits with the prefix "flip" then they can keep their names

stoneheart's been a warrior in autoclan for a while now and optimus is like "hey. hey watch this" and makes him twitchpaw's mentor when the time comes

okay pretty much everyone was talking about this (except me cuz i was drawing) but miko is a hardcore kittypet with a spiked collar and her owners put pink streaks in her fur. she follows bulkhead around a lot and talks his ear off. and we came to the conclusion that bulkhead is also a valid warrior name!!!!

also elita is the deputy of autoclan. i might name her something like rosethorn

twitchpaw and thrashpaw's warrior names r twitchflight and thrashkick

nightshade, jawbreaker, and hashtag also exist. nightshade already has a warrior name so that one was easy. jawbreaker might be called something like boulderjaw (or who knows might just say fuck it and keep jawbreaker) and for hashtag, we settled on the prefix "flash"

jawbreaker's mentor is gonna be grimlock. hashtag's will be rosethorn

i just thought of this while typing but i think the dinobots could all just be a random litter of kits wheeljack found abandoned in the wounds and he'd adopt them

speaking of wheeljack!!! he is missing an ear and has a bobtail because velvet said so and is absolutely correct. that's kinda it for him for now

bumblebee is called beestrike!!! as an apprentice he was friends with breakdown (who i might call blueleap or blueskip cuz he's got a fearless attitude or whatever) and they'd meet up at gatherings and sometimes in secret by sneaking out of their camps. ben was like "bee could be like how graystripe was whenever he saw silverstream and make little cat biscuits" and yeah that's pretty much him. once the war breaks out their friendship becomes strained and even when there's peace, it's gonna be a little awkward at first

i dont know if i'd bring knockout into the au but he was easy to think of. he's decepticlan's medcat and is named scarletshine
