hello!! hi!
idk if you remember but I told you once how I didn’t do fancasts before the heartstopper au because I have a hard time picturing stuff. But you mentioned how it helps the reader better and I was like “yeah totally makes sense” so I ended up doing a fancast for LRHWY too (I mean I did do it after halfway through the fic but whatever).
Meet LRHWY Malec. (Magnus is actually the same from the heartstopper au because that bitch doesn’t age but Alec is diff cause Alec is ripped in this fic and Dylan Obrien isn’t skshsksk)
also totally not me projecting all my childhood crushes on ff.
Also, I’m halfway through Ari and Dante’s sequel and??? love how Ari went from ‘depressed’ to ‘depressed AND horny’. Best glow up.

“Magnus, are you okay?”
He wanted to laugh at the words. Magnus hasn’t known what it meant to be okay in a long time.
Other people wished to be happy.
But not Magnus.
His deepest desire was to be just okay.
“Do you think some people don’t deserve to be here?” He whispered.
“What are you talking about? I’m worried for you. Talk to me.” Clary asked worriedly.
“I just..I..Before Alec,” Magnus said tearfully. “Before Alec, I was seeing someone. I really liked her, but she made me feel as if…as if I was a burden. Like she did not even want me to exist.”
He wiped his eyes, but the tears kept flowing.
“Hey, hey, I’m here. Take your time.” Clary said gently and took his hand in hers.
“And now Alec and Ragnor have been getting into fights because of me and..and..maybe she was right. Maybe I do make life difficult for other people. Maybe I really am just a burden and don’t deserve to be here.” He sobbed.
Clary put a hand around his shoulder and pulled him in for a tight hug. “You don’t. You don’t make my life difficult.” She said while rubbing her hands up and down her back.
Magnus clutched harder at her and sobbed for what felt like a very long time.
“Totally unrelated to this conversation but what was her name?” Clary added seriously. “I won’t punch her or anything.”
He chuckled softly.
“I don’t really condone violence.”
Clary pulled back and grumbled. “Not even against people who have hurt you?”
Magnus shook his head.
He didn’t.
He knows that some people are assholes and deserve to get punched in the face.
Magnus just can never do it himself. Or stand by and watch while it happens.
This is just who he is.
“Ugh.” Clary groaned. “Fine. I have something else for now.”
Magnus gave her a tearful smile. “Cookie cream?”
“Cookie cream”

“What do you want to eat?” He asked.
“I’m not really hungry.” Magnus replied.
He looked nervous for some reason Alec couldn’t quite put a finger on.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah. Listen maybe it was a bad idea coming here.” Magnus said.
“I wanted you here, baby. I didn’t know they were going to be here.”
“Baby?” Magnus interrupted him.
Oh shit.
“I- I. Sorry it just slipped out.” Alec said nervously.
Maybe it was too soon but he wanted to call Magnus baby but it felt awkward now.
Magnus blushed. “I like it. It’s cute.”
He looked so cute Alec barely resisted the urge to kiss him.
Alec’s lips curled upwards. “I’m never calling you that again.”
Magnus chuckled. “I should think of a pet name for you too.”
“You don’t have to. Alec’s short enough.”
“But I want to.” Magnus whined.
“Al?”
“No”
“Pup?”
He laughed. “Over my dead body.”
“Maybe I should call you Alexander then.”
“Isn’t it the opposite of a pet name.” He grinned.
“I don’t know. It suits you. Do you like it?” Magnus asked sheepishly.
Alec hated it. It’s what his dad calls him.
And well, he wasn’t the best of dads out there.
But somehow the way Magnus said it felt like the greatest thing
“I like it.” He smiled.
“Okay. Let’s go then, Alexander.”
- Nick calling Charlie ‘Char’ is cute but over my dead body is Alec going to call Magnus ‘Mags’.
P.S. I have a really cute title for the fic but I’m planning to do a big dramatic reveal next week.

hello i was wandering if you're gonna write the heartstopper au after the soldier alec au at the same time as it?!
hello hi
I’m going to write it after the soldier au. I don’t have a fixed schedule yet cause I’m really bad at organising lmaoo.
But LRHWY (soldier au) has 5 chapters and if I (and that’s a big if) manage to keep up with the Sunday updates, it’ll finish by 5th June (omg i just realised it’s coinciding with my bday)
After that I’ll take a break for a week and most probably start the heartstopper au (i have a very cute name for this one btw- I’m quite proud of it) by MID-JUNE. But good news- I will be posting the heartstopper au twice a week instead of just once.
Till then, I’ll be posting snippets, faceclaims (I’m very excited for it ngl), a couple of other cute stuff to keep y’all fed.
P.S. oof I know you didn’t ask for all this detail but this ask actually helped cause atleast now I have a somewhat timeline so thank you.
