Harry walked past it on his way home and knew they had closed their doors pending some major structural repairs that needed to be made to continue to operate commercially. Each night he looked at the building and thought about everything it had witnessed over the long history of the town. It stood over and watched generations of celebrations and tragedies.
One night, in the light of the moon, he looked up to see a figure standing in the vacant hotel. The emotion in the eyes of the stranger was too tangible for his brain to conjure it up, a mix of fear and shock that Harry couldn’t place. He looked conflicted about being seen, hovering in the space just out of full view, but not so much that Harry thought the man had broken in. It wasn’t that type of feeling.
The next night he returned, and this time, he was pulled to walk in. He finds more than he was expecting and an unexpected history lost to time.

What I’m Reading: October
Really late with this one, sorry! Just moved to a new place and spent the last two weeks trying to get settled. Here’s October’s :)
Re-Reads:
1. The Brightest Lights (rearviewdreamer) - After watching yet another actor walk away with his Oscar, Louis is on the lookout for the role of a lifetime that might finally get him the one thing he has always wanted. He didn't think coming out of his self-proclaimed break to do another film would be all that difficult, but that was before he met his new co-star.
New Reads:
1. I Don’t Want to Close My Eyes (I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing) (hilourry) - Louis is married to Liam and pregnant with his child. Liam isn't ready to be a father, but Dr. Harry Styles is more than willing.
2. With Nothing But Your T-Shirt On (crybaby) - Harry is a camboy and Louis has been an avid subscriber for a while before he finds out they attend the same university.
3. Ibiza Shore (dutty) - Zayn knows going on a reality show is a bad idea, especially when he's got a girlfriend back home who's cross with him more often than not, but he really wasn't prepared for just how out of hand things were going to get in Ibiza.
4. New Man (make_this_feel_like_home) - Louis Tomlinson is newly single for the first time in his adult life. He's just ended his relationship with his uni-sweetheart and things are messy to say the least. Zayn has never been good at coping, so when he flaunts his new man to Louis, Louis is less than surprised. He knows it's not going to last. Harry has horrible taste in food, drinks beer but inexplicably has a six-pack, owns the ugliest boots known to man-kind and has a really kind heart. Louis shouldn't still be so tangled up in his old life, and he definitely shouldn't be having regular conversations with his ex's new boyfriend... but things are messy.

Hi! Sorry it took so long, I had to look for some fics because I'm HORRIBLE with names. It ended up being 35 fics (I'm sorry) but I may have forgotten some🙃 these are some of faves though(in no particular order) :

Love this fic so so much. I'm rereading it now (sixth time?) and every time is as good as the first. Love the writing and the characterization. Such a good fic.

I just recently read this for the first time and I don't know why I haven't before? It's so good and this author really knows how to write an interesting story.
3. Unbelievers by isthatyoularry @isthatyoularry
The beginning of this fic is so iconic. One of the first fics I read and I love it to this day.
4. Got that sunshine on my shoulders by hattalove
Okay if you've been following me for a while you'll know I yell about this fic all the time. It's super super angsty. Right up my alley and it makes me cry like a baby every time.

Recently read this one and wow wow wow. I don't normally read Marcel fics but this one had me up till like 4am to finish it. It was so good.
