12. What is your OC’s favorite event(s), what was their role?
My favorite event so far has to be the Glorious Masquerade, but given this is about my sona I highly doubt she’d agree with that lmao. Her favorite event was probably the Star Sending! She might not have played a big role, only helping Deuce and Trey with the steps of their dance, trying desperately to pry Idia out of his room (it didn’t work) and ultimately just being an overseer and taking pictures and such, but she holds the memory of it all very near and dear to her heart. She definitely got a lot closer to Deuce through it and the whole event was just very wholesome and sweet! I wonder what she would have wished for…. (Fun fact also, the Star Sending event was my first twst event!)
18. What is the hardest thing to adjust to at NRC? The magic? Being away from their family? Ect.
This might sound strange, but just being prefect was probably the hardest thing. She’s not confrontational so having to put her foot down against people who were bigger, stronger and smarter than her was very taxing. It didn’t help that Crowley practically blackmailed her every time and Grim was far too easily bribed when he was essentially the mouthpiece for them in the beginning. She was constantly exhausted but slowly got better at her job as she developed more of a reputation around conquering overblots (which was a welcome exaggeration btw) but she didn’t really feel like she had a say in anything until probably book 5. Yes she’s stronger because of it, but if she could go back, there are definitely a few things that she’d do differently.
Again, these get way too long sorry for the lore dump but I’m having fun! 🩵

I felt like asking for Idia and mayhaps Ruggie but then I remembered u already talked about them so lskskwksks decided to ask these ones instead
LET’S GOOOO I’M SO READY FOR THESE!!!!
They’re gonna be long though so uuuuuuuuuuuuh heads up expanding the post!
Ok so first up is Ortho! Homegirl is so protective of him especially after book 6. She probably thought she’d never see him again after what happened in STYX so when he came back to be a student at NRC she was so happy, definitely got close to crying but will deny that forever lmao
She tends to treat him like a little brother because look at him and tell he’s not everyone’s little brother. You can’t you’re lying. She’ll always keep an eye on him when she can and cheers him on in anything that he pursues.
She genuinely believes that Ortho can do anything but will still protect him with her life. 10/10 incredible baby bro
Next up is Grim! The son ever! I’m going to be completely honest in saying that she was totally off-put by him in the very beginning. She didn’t quite understand why she was even being associated with this furball but with time and the necessity of teamwork between them they quickly bonded. He was the first to find out that she’s not a boy in the all boy’s school and even when she doubted him at first, he never let it slip to anyone. They can rely on each other when it really counts and it’s sweet.
She will openly refer to him as her son and she’s not afraid to poke at his pride every now and again (which he needs good gravy) but sometimes she humors his antics a little too much. She will claim that she is his familiar rather than vice versa if anyone calls him a familiar because she knows he hates it and doesn’t mind the title anyway. It’s kinda funny to see people’s reactions too.
Ultimately they have more of a sibling relationship than anything and have each other’s backs. They do love each other like family, 10/10 found family. Would find again
Lastly but not leastly is Mozus Trein! The dynamic between them is actually pretty interesting (to me at least) because it didn’t start out as much. If anything Lucius was the one to break the ice. Chris was always quietly affectionate towards the cat and he’d gotten comfortable hopping up onto her desk during class. She’ll always pet him and say hello and goodbye before and after class and Trein was always amused but never really showed any bias. For a long time Chris was actually a bit intimidated by Trein but slowly warmed up to him as time went on.
The relationship probably reached a pique during the Glorious Masquerade event! Chris was able to spend time with just Trein and Grim while exploring Fluer City so they were able to talk more casually, not having to worry about school for the moment.
She definitely slipped up and called him “dad” at one point, but rather than backing out she decided to commit to the bit for shits and giggles (Watching Trein’s composure waver when instead of apologizing she asked “Dad, am I the disappointment of the family?” Was definitely worth it though he was not expecting that). This of course was a joke between the two of them, as no one would ever drop the subject if they found out about it.
They have an inside joke now, so you might hear one of them mumble a “I raised you better than this” or “you’re not even my real dad” at each other if you listen closely. Of course if you don’t know it’s an inside joke then it might give you the wrong impression as Trein is always deadpan when he jokes… 10/10 best dad Trein

Okay so first of all

Second let me answer these
So as for dorms and who she gets along with the obvious answer feels like Heartslabyul as they’re all on friendly terms, but I actually like to think she gets along best with the Shroud brothers. Yes she’ll see Ortho outside more frequently than Idia, but they play games online a lot! Idia was really excited to show someone his favorite games and Ortho is just really happy that he and his brother have a friend to play games with. Chris might not be as good at these games as the brothers but there’s always friendly banter to be had. If you can get past the occasional “kys” from Idia and “no u :)” from Chris (which is all in good fun btw) then it’s surprisingly wholesome!
The Savannatrio is also a close contender with how well she gets along with people.
Of course, Jack was the easiest one to befriend, being that he’s literally just a big puppy doing his best. Chris is recklessly supportive of him in the sense that if he gets into a fight, she’ll be close behind shouting “GET HIS ASS!” and it works every time!
Ruggie was actually the one to get Chris to open up more in the beginning. How you ask? Pranks. It definitely started with “You wanna help me steal Headmage’s lunch from the teacher’s lounge?” and then escalated from there. (They stole like 15 lunches in the span of two weeks before suspicion was cast their way and then they had to bail on the operation… for now) Chris wouldn’t do half of the things they get into without a chaos buddy and Ruggie’s always more than happy to have an accomplice so they’re besties and they talk shit about half the student body :)
Leona was definitely the toughest egg to crack, but when book three happened and Chris and Grim had to room with him, they learned a few things about the lion. Chris and Grim both used their newfound knowledge to try and get him to smile or laugh. Leona held out on them but they were persistent. That being said, Chris eventually started bouncing off of his sarcasm and Leona was “okay with that” so she’s basically a member of the pack now, not to flex or anything.
The Scaraduo is a bit more complicated. Chris didn’t fully trust Jamil from the start and after the overblot situation, she only got more skeptical of his intentions. On the other hand she was immediately drawn to Kalim’s sunshiny attitude about everything, both in the sense that he was warm and fun to be around, and also in the sense that this boy is naïve and gullible and now she has to protect him. It took a long while for her to get a better understanding of Jamil and vice versa but even so Chris doesn’t trust him. They’re more civil now but Chris is still afraid to look him in the eye (because you know…)
