New “Stranger Things” Comic Dives into Dr. Brenner’s Past
Dark Horse Comics has announced a new Stranger Things limited series comic book. Stranger Things: The Many Ghosts of Dr. Brenner hails from writer Brenden Fletcher, artist Mack Chater, colorist Rosh, and letterer Nate Piekos.
“The year is 1968. Dr. Martin Brenner, a disgraced American scientist, returns to the abandoned lab where he and his colleagues collected research for top-secret government projects. Have we seen what Pei is doing right now? Also, have Pei interacted with Danielle? /Gamiel
Pei most recently appeared in the latest Iron Fist series (Iron Fist volume 6), but it was a very brief and plot-irrelevant appearance that mostly just established that she was still around and living with Danny:
Luke: "Language, Danny. Pei is right here."
Pei: "I'm not a kid anymore, Uncle Luke. He says it all the time!"
Danny: "Thanks for ratting me out, Pei."
