Fairy friends!!! These designs are kinda my compromise between wanting consistency and wanting to keep them close to their in-game designs. Thus why the Glowing Ball Fairies have colored 'fur' (idk what it's called on insects but it's That, not fur-fur).

In universe, the difference is kinda like how the Wind Waker Healing Fairies are humanoid while the Phantom Hourglass Companion Fairies are glowing balls. The glowing fairies have higher levels of magic, and the hairs, kinda like bees, store it and make them glow.

would you like some info about character backstories? If so, here you go

For several years Ellis (left) and Ennis (right) were both members of the smuggler’s Union. Ellis was a faction head (Focused on transportation of contraband/other illegal items, mostly from poached animals) around the time Ennis joined, and over the following years Ennis managed to climb up the ranks and become the head of a different faction (focused on alcohol). They also never liked each other. At some point in time, unclear if it was prior or after joining the Smugglers, Ennis committed some identity fraud and started using the name Ellis for her petty crime, Ellis was predictable upset and when that was made clear to Ennis, instead of using a different name (because she didn’t actually have one) she just changed the Ls to Ns to mess with him. Cut to several years later, Ennis’s body guard/only person Ennis actually liked (Cecily) was found out to be selling information to the Navy, and was to be executed. Ennis caught wind of this, and not wanting Cecily dead played the role of a villain to chase Cecily out without killing her. The higher ups weren’t thrilled at this, and Ennis didn’t care because she no longer saw any reason to stay, so she planned on leaving. You can’t just leave the organization, it’s seen as betray and will be punished via death, so Ellis saw this as both a chance to improve his reputation and get back at Ennis. He confronted her with the intent to kill, and promptly got his ass handed to him because he severely undefeated Ennis’s capabilities in a fight. so yeah, Ennis left and Ellis was left at his weakest state, having been humiliated by someone he deemed lesser. While normally it wouldn’t be worth mentioning Ellis, this event is what lead to him forming a pact with Turmoil. In exchange for helping with Turmoil’s plans to escape the Fey Wilds, Ellis would be granted with power and a place alongside Turmoil in his world of monsters

But!!

Tw for past abuse, and the asshole not being dead...

His father had shrugged when Aleska asked him to sign the papers so she could have custody of the boy. Boy who ran away from home, boy who apparently landed himself in hospital with pneumonia. He couldn't care less, he signed and got rid of him. Not his smartest move, in retrospect, considering his wife was dead and he could barely cook pasta without making a mess. But why caring?if that woman wanted to get that useless kid away from him so be it. Go on and keep him, what do you even see in it anyway? He gets sick at any given moment (Aleska finds out when ron is admitted to the hospital that he was born three weeks early), he trips over his feet and he's stupid. Took him almost 10 years to learn proper English and he was born there.

He absolutely never cared for a poor excuse of a boy.

Words reach his ears that he's navy now, he's a pilot, top gun graduate, the best of the best. Living in Texas. He think that if he'll show up very nicely, he can get some money.

The first time he doesn't speak or approach. he just watch. Ron is dropping Chris off at work, gives him the smallest kiss on the lips as David gets out of the car with a mocking face. "Come on lovebirds, enough of that or we'll be late!" He blows a kiss to Ron anyway and laugh, wrap his arm around Chris.

Great. Oh, great. His son is a fucking fag.

He follows him.

Sees where he lives, watches that other man opening the door and kiss him before pulling him inside.

He doesn't need his money, he decides, he's disgusted, that's not the son he raised. (He didn't raise him. And thank God for that!) But he won't allow him to drag his name in the dirt.

Ron feels observed. It's weird. Unsettling. For a moment he believes Marvin decided to target him to get back at chris, again.

Oh, it's worse.

Ron would recognize him even after all those years. it's somethimg in the face, in his eyes, something he never forgot. He sees the shadow looming close around him, catches glimpses of the man who fathered him around, he start to get agitated, restless. Anxious.

Ron is waiting outside the firestation, chris will finish tinkering with his car and go back not having him drop him off and pick him up, at one point, when he sees him. Not a glimpse. No, he's standing right there, staring at him.Ron feels blood run cold. Icy. He feels his leg go weak. He hasn't been that terrified in years, he thought he was over that. He's not.

The man, his father, takes a step closer, and another, and another again. Ron almost jump in the middle of the road as a car sprint past.

David grabs him. Holds him. Takes him inside and yells for Chris. Ron's eyes are wide, unfocused , he looks like he had seen a ghost. A ghost would've been better. They wonder if they have to take him to the hospital. Or call Lucas.

They do call Lucas once they're home, they don't know how to make him react. Luca drips by after his shift. He's dead on his feet but damn they sounded panicked, and Ron wasn't probably hurt, or they would've taken him to the er . It's still bad, he's not sure what to do either.

Tom knows, though. The moment he arrives home and finds all 3 of them around ron he fear ls something happened. The moment he sees his eyes, he knows.

"He'll get out of that on his own. You force him, he will attack. He's not there."

He and Chris just hold him, they move to bed and hold him, but none of them sleeps.

It takes a while, Ron is dazed, he's not sure how he got home, or in bed. But they're holding him, so he feels safe. Safe enough.

The second time, the man approaches him as they're all together. Some sort of unofficial double date. He approach with the intent of hurting him , tom notices ron freezing and just... he snaps. Chris and David both have to hold him back before he does something he's gonna regret and will destroy his whole career. Both of their careers.

(The whumptober idea ,on the other hand, is Ron and David chatting with jake eating an icecream when he shows up. Amd Dave getting them home. Jake is terrified, Ron is not dissociating only because his son is clinging so hard to his neck that he's grounding him.

Happy Hour

Our next venture was a LS Happy Hour/Bar Takeover. I learned about it through one of the LS sites we joined.

I spent the afternoon getting ready. I typically dressed in conservative work attire or workout clothing so the process of getting ready was enjoyable.

I started with a hot bath, shaving everything that needed shaving.

Next I applied a mildly scented lotion. I had a little bit of a tan so I was soft and glowing a little bit.

I did my hair and make up and then slipped into a lacy navy blue bra and matching panties. I eventually put on a low cut, form fitting dress and strappy wedge sandals. I felt good. We drove to the event.

We arrived fairly early. We checked in with the organizer. A few people mingled. Unfortunately no one really approached us. We grabbed drinks as more people arrived. For a while we sat at a table for 8 hoping others would just join us but I leaned very quickly that new people are avoided and this particular group is very cliquish. I am 100% not that way and am usually the one to try to include others. I will never not do that and even more so in that setting. We were all “new” to something once. It might save someone else the new kid jitters we had that night.

We ultimately ended up going home without really connecting with anyone or any couples. No conversations or anything more. I am willing to give it another try though.

I'm watching LS mark's reviews of every spongebob episode right now and you know- it's not like I agree with the dude on everything he says like I WILL DEFEND PEST OF THE WEST TO MY LIFE IF NEEDED LIKE THAT EPISODE WAS GREAT AND THE IDIOT FRIEND SONG WAS WHOLESOME!! but yeah he mentioned that mr. krabs tends to get paranoia-related episodes a lot and tbh...I never really realized it but that's true- mr. krabs suffering from paranoia seems to be pretty engrained in his character from early seasons on and I'm curious on why that is...is he so protective over his wealth and success because he knows how tough life can be without a dime on your name?

Anyways yeah! Mr. Krabs tends to be paranoid. There's a lot of episodes where he starts to get nervious when Plankton doesn't try to steal the formula. Just being slightly off from the schedule makes him paranoid. I've always assumed that was more because the whole formula shenanigans are the only way he can maintain somewhat of a friendship with plankton. Losing that link puts the nail in the coffin in their relationship and Krabs just can't afford to lose that. He even sabotages Plankton's attempts at building his own life because he's scared of losing him. They got some toxic codependency going on there.

But tbh Krabs has a lot of reasons to be paranoid about stuff. He's been through a lot. From being born into poverty and barely scrapping by in his childhood. We all know his greed stems from his paranoia of falling back into his situation. Even if its a penny. It hurts him deeply to lose it. It's also implied his father abandoned his family as a child. And that episode where he mentioned his father gave him a dollar when he was a child and how guilty he felt over spending it. I'm assuming he kept that dollar loong after his father abandoned them which explains why it hurt so much to spend it. He pretty much described the dollar as being his best friend. How he behaves about money seems more clear that this digs up a lot of painful stuff for himself. He behaves more like he's losing everything or he's leaning really close to that in his mind. When it's something small.

A lot of stuff happened to Krabs that's barely aknowledged in the show. From losing his best and only friend over an argument, to being in the navy. There was even a war mentioned in the Krusty Krab training video episode so you can assume it must have taken a toll on his mental health. It was even mentioned he fell into a deep depression after that. There's also the chum famine of '59. The spongebob movie video game mentions the famine lasted 2 years.

But yeah, this is a pretty interesting topic. I feel like Krabs is the most interesting character in the show but barely used to his full potential. His greed gets out of control in some episodes but its facinating to dig into why. You get some pretty good episodes when you dig into that.

Ooh, thank you! Since you’re a SWTOR blog, I’m going to go with my SWTOR folks, but do let me know if you want to hear about Thof Templii (PT-era) as well:

BRIDER SURRISS (Bar’senthor) The Old Republic incarnation of my beloved Jedi OC Brider, the Bar'senthor is a mild-mannered Zabrak sage who has never harmed a person she didn't first exhaust every option of trying to make peace with. She was very close to Syo Bakarn, regarding him as her father, and absolutely did not want to replace him on the Council. She has full Light Side alignment, with 20,000 LS points and zero DS points. There are two strongholds in her name, both Jedi academies, on Alderaan and Yavin IV. She and her "immediate family" (her companions) largely live a nomadic life on her ship, Serenity, going wherever people need help that they can give. She and Volya were childhood friends.

VOLYA DONEETA (Hero of Tython) The Old Republic incarnation of my friend's beloved Jedi OC Volya, she's an impulsive, sometimes brash, and absolutely wonderful Twi'lek flygirl who loves Kalikori village. Her alignment is Light Side, but don't push her - she won't show mercy to slavers, and she will do almost anything to defend the people she loves. She she uses two lightsabers, with the hilts Orgus Din gave her on Tython, and two rare crystals - a pink one, and a black-blue one. There is one stronghold in her name - a complex base on Rishi that was reclaimed from pirates. She helps out the Republic Navy as an escort ship in her ship, Harmony, when she has the time to spare. She and Brider were childhood friends.

BROODIUS (her own Wrath) Lord Broodius the Broody is a Sith Warrior. Her alignment is Dark Side, and Broodius is a human with a knack for dressing intimidatingly. She's patriotic, and it pains her to see the way much of the military hates the Sith Order, especially because it's an understandable hatred. She is married to Malavai Quinn, (with whom she many shared passions, including for killing abusers and for battle strategy) and is also in love with Vette, but silently; she knows Vette, unlike Quinn, doesn't feel the same way about her. She's autistic and nonspeaking; her primary form of communication is with gestures and very eloquent facial expressions, but when she absolutely has to communicate something complex clearly, she types on a datapad. She lives partially in her penthouse stronghold with Quinn on Dromund Kaas, but is often deployed elsewhere in the galaxy in her ship, Strength.

SANEWSO (Cipher) Sanewso (Imp agent) is a Chiss, and he never lets the Empire forget this. Loyal out of fear, he is disgusted by Kaliyo's lack of professionality, and falls hard and fast in love with Vector Hyllus. He lost his father to the Empire at a young age, and came to regard the old Keeper as a father figure, which he ended up regretting... but try as he might, he couldn’t quite lose his habit of attaching to father figures. He ends up closer with Lokin than he knows he should be. He accepts Kothe’s suggestion to be a true double agent for the SIS, but the previous extensive use of his mind restraints leaves him with frequent seizures, and to escape Watcher X’s fate he flees to the Republic with Vector (now his husband) and Lokin - and gets to reunite with Chance. He comes an SIS analyst.

ATTHILIKE A Zabrak whose Force-Sensitivity was noticed when she was a slave of the Empire, she was ordered to enslave Khem Val. She did so out of fear, and is trying to work out how to free him. Tired of warnings that Zash was planning to betray her, she knew that if she stayed loyal to her much longer she would let her guard down and allow Zash to be a mother to her, so she ran, finding a place with the slave rebellion centred on the Unfinished Colossus. She became a fierce defender and breadwinner of the rebels there. Eventually, she marched into Darth Vowrawn's offices, told him Qet was terrible at buildings statues, and that she could finish the construction in less than a year. Her solution: manumission and good pay and working conditions. Vowrawn was originally inclined to laugh her out, but she ended up with a position in the Sphere of Production and Logistics in "Labour Management". She's determined to take down human supremacy in the Empire, and has managed to convince Vowrawn, being himself not human, on that, at least. She may or may not be a Revanite (the historical/mythologised Revan, not the would-be undead destroyer of the galaxy). She has Revan's mask in her possession, something she guards very closely. Sometimes she pretends to be their ghost. Her other treasured possession is a tiny ship called Freedom. After the death of Lord Shaar, she becomes the heir apparent to the Sphere of Production & Logistics - a seat on the Dark Council, and complete oversight of the Empire's labour forces.

AALIYAH SWOH A hijabi Mirialian whose name means 'flight,' Aayliah is a Tired Mother who mostly regards herself as Bowdaar's best friend. An incurable do-gooder, she's worked with Vette's old gang to extradite Twi'lek artifacts back to Twi'leks. More recently, she's become a second-hand connection of Volya's. She has a small, nearly empty apartment on Coruscant.

JOH'QAI Tsis, and born without Force-Sensitivity, Joh'qai left home at an early age to become a bounty hunter. Along the way, he met an S.I.S agent who he had a few things in common with (Theron, of course), and they became friends and worthy enemies. They call each other 'honey-trap'. Joh'qai is chivalrous, honourable, and family-orientated. To begin with, he's terrified to do anything that could be seen as disloyal, but an encounter with the recording of Kel'eth Ur led him to shed his fear in favour of following his instincts. He regards Atthilike and Mako as his younger sisters, and eventually adopts a little Tsis girl who he decides to protect from the Sith Order -- at any cost.. His ship is called Passion.

UCAV Akinci of Turkey completes tests with full load of weapons

The Akinci combat drone, produced by Baykar in Turkey, completed a test flight loaded with all nine weapons stations.

On Monday, the company shared a video of the Akinci B in flight carrying three Teber-82, one HGK-82, two MAM-Ls, one MAM-C and one MAM-T, weighing 1,230kg in total.

The unmanned aerial combat vehicle (UCAV) can be equipped with Teber-82 in-house developed ammunition and MAM-T minimunition, along with MAM-L and MAM-C minimunitions in a multi-launcher station and the HGK-82 at the gun station in the middle of the UCAV.

Akinci tested the Teber-82 guidance kit produced by Roketsan, as well as the MAM laser-guided system. MAM-C is the high explosive variant while MAM-L is the thermobaric. The largest of the weapons, MAM-T, is the long-range variant. The HGK-82 is a precision guidance kit developed by TÜBITAK SAGE.

Meanwhile, work on new weapons integrations also continues in relation to Akinci.
