sodapop: he likes all the songs that got popular on tiktok lets be honest here, but he’s just a casual listener like johnny, and will sometimes pick up songs from ponyboy or twobit that he likes. mainly listens to the garden when repairing cars at the dx because they make “good car repairing music” (whatever that means). his favourites:

HOWEVER !!!! he likes one of their songs!! he can tolerate one song!!!!

Orym runs in and chucks 2 daggers at Ludinus, misses with BOTH because he's prone ... nuts ... nothing else he can do ...
Ludinus gets up, steps past Fearne so she has an attack of opportunity ... he starts brewing a Sphere, Laudna Counterspells ... but it's a LEVEL NINE?!!! Holy fuck ... did she just CRIT?!!! SERIOUSLY?!!! Oh my gods she fucking DID IT!!! Nice! So he tries to Counterspell HER? And he FAILS?!!! OH MY FUCKING GODS!!! Amazing ... suddenly the dice gods are with us! So hejyst keeps walking ... INTO THE LAVA? AND JUST DISINTEGRATES?!!! Bloody hell ... he was a FAKE!!! Bugger ...

GAH it's so hard to keep up with multiple social media accounts. I went to a lowrider car event for the first time and it was pretty frickin' cool. I never did art like this before so it was fun to stretch some muscles I've never used.
Some highlights of the event:
Learning that one of the car with the coolest engine was entirely built by the guy's wife! She did it all by herself! Incredible!
Telling a guy who asked how do I draw so fast, I replied saying "you know I just let Jesus take the wheel. If it sucks it sucks and then I try again."
Drawing for me kind of is an exercise in trust. I am so prone to worrying that everything I attempt will fail so everytime I do a drawing it feels like a massive trust fall. It gets better over time but it still feels like that to this day. It's absolutely draining but it's essential to fall flat on your face and make really shitty stuff sometimes. Sometimes it's what you need to approach drawing from a different angle.

But we have some other things happening here they're pretty big
-there is a severe warlock reaction globally to their lack of ability in space they are getting hit in a snow at three to one against them and they're very upset and they did not listen to the warnings and their own bosses were trying to say it no their bosses were ordering it and say are incompetent most of them. So what can you do if you don't have it and you have to.
-there's a huge number of people in Florida who have solar power and I think they're all set and yeah they're doing pretty good but there is a lot of fighting over it because they use it for stuff
-we have a few moments we are working on the economy yes it is up we are at 3300% above just before covid-19. It's a decent spot though people should feel a little better if they're not directly involved in this big huge battles and there are jobs out there and you're becoming more plentiful people are being able to pay for things and pay down debt if it's not forgiven a lot of debt is forgiven and there's a lot of crisis management that went on and they're forgiving debt to but the economy is picking up pulling and busy accessories between less expensive we have huge factories coming online today globally a lot of it is because of the need for armament by groups that are running out of things like spaceships and they need to work for us and they should have been doing it but failed in the face of the Max and the clones. The percent factories today it will be around 250% and tomorrow 250% more devastating and it will be an addition of 500% so bring us to 3800%, it's very good.
-the housing market bubble finally burst and housing starts are up and they're up to an incredible number today they reached about 70% increase from just before covid-19. And that is a permit supplied for and usually they go through. And that is for houses apartments condominiums. Also there are about 5000 permit applications it actually in Florida for mobile home parks unfortunately they're not getting any here no we are it's the pseudo empire and they like the idea and they have a whole bunch of them who can build these things and they fill them they're in a tent and they build them there then they go into the place and they're going to have their own and they're going to build it right on site this is a huge huge movement and more I can do in the same thing all over the world but they're doing it in their areas it's begun and these parks are pretty big they probably have six or seven thousand mobile homes and most of them will be this new wood frame glued together and we'll be able to resist very powerful winds that's up to 300 mph and you don't encounter those ones at all and usually they do better mostly tied down and they encourage each other to this is going to be incredible that's a lot of housing and the cities are increasing and it's in the number already but they have high rise condominiums and apartments going in actually they will increase that number probably a lot because of the capacity but those permits have not been applied for yet they're in planning it will go up about 10 to 15% just with the condos in apartments high-rise lowrides will bring it up 2 to 3% and but that's just the first wave and we're going to publish this is huge

Watching the homies in the streets painting graffiti on Lowrider cars (classic but modified) the way those cars bounce up and down is neat, and it’s a popular thing in this side of the neighborhood.
I pulled up in the parking lot in front of the beach, remaining upon the motorcycle seat, shirtless, exposing my tats. The only thing, I had on were my destroyed jeans. My eyes were wild, blue as the raging sea. Watching the waves of the ocean, stirred something behind these blue eyes.

I grew up in LA with my parents. One night I climbed out of the bed to hide under the stairs. My parents were having a conversation in the kitchen. I heard them talking about my dads other family with my mom, she was highly aware of his past.
She knew he had another woman with a son, older than me. My father had a double life, it was something very common that a man could have more than one woman with kids. I recall the influence my father had on me. He would help me with my homework everyday and send me to bed, he would stay up late reading the next chapter, to make sure he could help me, the next day.
I had glowing things to say about him, like he used to love vintage cars. He was a mechanic by day and a street racer by night. That is how I started to love them too with the same passion and adrenaline. My father used to say.
“Don’t ever try to undertand cars, they are more complicated than women.”
A rather amused grin finds its ways across chiseled features. After school every day that he was home, I used to jog to my fathers garage, wearing a blue mechanic jumpsuit as a ten year old kid, I was excited to help him with his 67 Shelby Mustang.
Learning everything he knows. Sunday nights were the best by far, I was four years old when he used to sit me on his lap and let me drive with him a few blocks from the house.
“Time to come back to your mother, son. Buckle up.” Lifted down my weight from his lap to settle down in the passenger seat with my seat belt. Tilted my head in his direction while he was driving us back to our house. “Dad, when am I gonna meet, my older brother?”
He casted a quick look in my direction. “Did your mom tell you about him?” Shakes my head. “No I heard both of you, talking about him.”
Something sparked my curiosity to know more about him. I always wanted to have a brother—He smiled. “I promise you, I’ll take you with me to meet him.”
Everything that followed happened in a blur. In the midst of the road, we came across a bunch of motorcycles doing stunts one of the biker suffers a hydraulics malfunction and spins out of control, hitting us from behind, sending his bike flying from under him into a row of parked bikes, throwing him through a store window and killing him instantly.
Somehow my dad manages to dodge the rest of the bikes and keep us on the road while his vision is obscured by flames from the hood. We suffered an accident, the engine, rubber and one of the doors of the vehicle came off and were several meters away.
We crashed against a street light, the vehicle mangled pretty bad on side and he was badly injured, the rear part was practically destroyed. I remember the feeling of blood rushing against my face, the impact shattered the windscreen before me.
Watching my father bite the dust in an unfortunate accident wasn’t what I expected to happened that night. Groan in pain with the sting of broken glass in my skin.
Abruptly, unfastened the seat belt from my body to move to his side, he remained unconscious or at least that's what I thought.
Punching my dad’s body repeatedly before trying to drag him out of all this mess, but he was to damn heavy for me, I failed miserably, tears start to running down my face coated in blood.
I shouted at him. “DAD! wake up... DAD! You made me a promise... You need to watch your boys grow!” The saddest part in this is, I could feel the pain and the raw emotion in my voice.
He was no longer breathing. In fact his body was trapped between the seat and the steering wheel. “DAD!”
lifted an arm against his back and placed a kiss upon his head. I could feel it still warm and I stayed there until the paramedics arrived with first aid, everything was moving in slow motion, but I was the only that made it out alive.
The cure to pain isn't something you buy at the liquor stores, no. Nor the tat that you've paid. Nobody told me I could feel this type of pain. The sting of loss, I’ve heard it called.
Having to witness my father's death, It was something that taught me to live in the moment. It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die. That is true, it's called life.

Nodded my head. “Yes, babe.” I caressed her lush lips with the pad of my thumb. A wild grin had toyed upon my lips. “What are you up to?” She laughed. “Baby, I don’t kiss and tell.” Inked fingers twisted the key ignition of my motorcycle and she hopped behind me as I ride away.

Dance Analysis of Chicken Noodle Soup by J-Hope ft. Becky G
J-Hope is not only an incredible dancer but also a cultural preacher of street dance.
To people who are keen on hip-hop, Chicken Noodle Soup, a song made by DJ Webster and Young B, is no way to be unfamiliar. CNS was such a prevailing song at the very first beginning that it meant a lot to hip-hop enthusiasts. This song was even regarded as the ‘soul’ by these people. J-Hope also mentioned in his V-live on September 27th, 2019, that he began his first dance lesson with this song. That’s why he chose to rearrange it, which is of great importance to him, and paid tribute to the original version of Chicken Noodle Soup.
At the start of Chicken Noodle Soup’s music video, what the four dancers danced to is part of the primary choreography in the original song. J-Hope’s dance move, which uses both his elbows to flap inward, stems from the choreography of the original song, known as ‘the chicken dance’. Same thing applies to the most classic actions of flapping wings like a chicken in the chorus. When the original song came out, these dance moves successfully owned a phenomenal popularity among teenagers who enjoyed dancing. It was just catching on like the previously big-time dance movements such as ‘Gangnam Style’, ‘Coincidence’ and ‘hammer dance’. Movements which went viral on the Internet represent not only the trends back then but also the profound cultural background of a period of time.
Not all dance lovers spend time learning what dancing really means before they start their lessons. From my perspective, rather than merely showing the moves, we should also know where the dance originates from as well as its cultural connotations, which can help us better understand and demonstrate the dance style. It’s obvious that J-Hope’s dance is far from being a superficial imitation but he has attentively studied its culture and history behind the scenes.
The details in the music video show that J-Hope knows a lot about hip-hop culture.
One of the most indispensable parts in the development of the US hip-hop culture is to remould vintage cars into Lowrider cars. When people were fond of remoulding cars in quest of their high horsepower and accelerating speed, they would lower the chassis of the vehicle, write graffiti on the car, install a hydraulic system on the chassis and suspend the vehicle so that it could bounce up and down, as if the car got a chance to “dance” on the road freely. Someone trenchantly pointed out in the comment section of a reaction video, “None of you understands the real meanings behind this song, nor do you have any idea of its origin. The plummeted truck and the cars are all parts of a bygone history.” During the 1970s and 80s, Bronx borough of New York City was agonized by poverty and ghettos. Arson crimes frequented the neighborhood. Its crime rate topped the country. But then, the rise of hip-hop culture changed the neighborhood and reduced illegal actions, leading to an overall movement carried out by the government to promote hip-hop to the general public. The emergence and development of hip-hop culture has since then brought far-reaching influence all over the world.
If an artist failed to show his understanding on hip-hop culture in his music and dance but only added hip-hop elements like Lowrider car or dreadlocks for the sake of face value, it certainly could not gain hip hop lovers’ appreciation. In stead, it may even offend them. Nonetheless, J-Hope poured his wholehearted passion of hip-hop culture into his music video, and thus had his own way to make a nod to it.
Another example is “Show Me Your Bba Sae” which J-Hope danced to in the Weekly Idol variety show. Though he deliberately did it in an amusing and comical way, he was actually performing waacking dance. Waacking originated in gar bars, and was used as a vehicle by the LGBTQ community for self-expression and resistance against discrimination and marginalization toward queer people. Therefore, waacking adopts very striking and often flamboyant moves. J-hope embraces dances of all origins without any bias and stereotype. In his studies of dancing, he embodies an inclusive mindset which is common among people who appreciate and study hip-hop culture. On top of that, he also genuinely showed his own understanding of waacking dance by pulling off its expressive and outgoing attitude with his body movement and facial expression. Of course, this discussion deserves another essay to articulate in depth, but we have to regretfully stop here.
Hip-hop culture originated from four elements: DJ, MC, B-boy and graffiti. The hip-hop culture and its subsequent different types of dance are derived from these four elements. The headstream of street dance was party dance in African-American communities in the 1960s. This kind of party dance incorporated rough and vigorous African dance, free and elegant Salsa dance, humorous tap dance, dynamic Jazz Dance and Chinese Kung Fu, as well as other dance elements and moves. These various dance and elements in turn developed into different dance types in hip-hop culture.
Hence, both hip-hop culture and street dance have a strong sense of inclusiveness and that’s exactly what J-Hope’s Chicken Noodle Soup represents. Chicken Noodle Soup used to be the signature dance of black people, who are the owners of hip-hop culture, but now it’s performed by an Asian dancer. Dancers of all ethnicities from The Lab group were also invited to take part in the shooting of this music video. J-Hope used his music and dance to break the barriers of language and races, cheering up hip-hop enthusiasts all around the world with his masterpiece. That’s what Elite Force, the crew which initiated hip-hop culture, wanted to see. True solidarity of humanity comes at the premise of goodwill and mutual respect among people.
It is worth mentioning that in 2013 J-Hope had written three articles titled “Street Dance Review” in the BTS official blog even before his debut. In those posts, he vividly illustrated the development and definitions of Popping, Locking and Breaking dances in a multi-media format of texts, images and videos. With his own efforts, he aimed to eliminate the stereotypes by general public toward street dance, and truly hoped that people could learn about these dance types. From his early attempts, we could get a glimpse of his unshakable confidence and passion about dance and the culture it entails.
J-Hope sincerely hopes that hip-hop culture can be accepted by people of all races. Hip-hop culture did not hit Asia and enthralled many people until the beginning of the 21st century. But there is still a long way to go. At the same time, J-Hope never forgets hip hop’s origin. Nor does he ever cease to gain a deeper understanding in hip-hop culture. He also shows respect to hip-hop all the time. That’s the reason why J-Hope is not only an incredible dancer but also a cultural preacher of street dance.

I almost spit out my fifteen-dollar espresso when I saw it. Here, in the fashionable heart of European ultraluxury, a Ford Taurus wagon. Not just that, but one with mismatched body panels, rust, and partially deflated, heavily curbed wheels. Surely here, this eccentric would be regarded much like I was in my homeland; scorned, forced to retreat to a foreign country more amenable to his taste in cars.
My initial guess was correct: no sooner did the creaking shitbox roll into view than the national police swooped down upon him. Flashing blue police lights silhouetted the dramatic figures of many a modern European tale: the cop as he reached for his submachine gun, the driver as he regarded the fascist with a hatred born of being a true freak in society.
In my mind’s eye, I saw him: hoarding glossy magazines of American economy cars, poring over every detail of the Vulcan V6, wondering if one day he might be able to escape this hellhole of sub-litre beaters and well-constructed bread products. My shock gave way to empathy in that moment, and I realized I was going to have to help him.
“Excuse me, officer,” I stated in broken Franglish, “We are filming a music video here for an American producer. As you can see, the immense wheels of this station wagon are a clear callback to Los Angeles-style lowriding, and therefore do not indicate that this gentleman is some kind of deviant.”
My gambit was failing. I could see murder in the eyes of the officer, now no doubt having identified two potential terrorists ready to harm all that he represented. Quickly, I said the first thing that came to mind.
“I love the first-generation Renault Twingo and I don’t think it’s dangerously underpowered at all!” I shrieked.
Later, as the police officer was buying me wine, he leaned in and asked me: “Do you know where I could get some of those front-wheel-drive Mercury Cougars?”

David Lozeau
is an American artist and children's book writer who has achieved media recognition principally for his paintings and exhibits relating to the Day of the Dead.
Based in San Diego, California, Lozeau is part of a modern art movement that depicts skeleton characters as if they were alive.
His paintings also pay tribute to cars, motorcycles, and guitars which have led to collaborations with Harley-Davidson and Fender Guitar Company.
Lozeau's representations of vintage cars and motorcycles align with the Custom Culture movement which celebrates mid-century American design.
His work has been featured in Disney Parks' Wonder ground Gallery and he has twice been a Disney Parks artist-in-residence.
He is a guild member of the Spanish Village Art Center in San Diego.[7]

Early life
David Lozeau was born in Merrimack, [failed verification] New Hampshire and began drawing at a very early age.
Inspired by childhood heroes Bob Ross and Mark Kistler, he watched The Joy of Painting, The Secret City Adventures, and Mark Kistler's Imagination Station television series to learn the fundamentals of creating shadows, shapes, and perspective.
In high school, he took as many art classes as he could and won awards for his pen and ink designs.
In 1993, Lozeau enrolled in Keene State College, but was disappointed by the rigidity of the curriculum and sole focus on academia in the classroom.
He worked for the college newspaper, The Equinox. He graduated in 1997 with a B.A. in graphic design and a minor in art, having only taken one painting class during the entire four-year span.
Lozeau was employed as a graphic artist for seven years after graduating from college, during which time he focused solely on his design and marketing skills as a means to further his corporate career.
Career
In 2004, Lozeau relocated to the west coast of the United States.
There, he witnessed a pinstriping demonstration at a hot rod event in Anaheim, California. He believed that the lettering enamel used in pinstriping and sign painting, with its quick dry time and high gloss finish, would be the right medium by which to fine-tune his line work and further develop his character-driven style.
He began painting professionally with acrylics, gouache, and oil-based enamel.
In 2008 and 2009, Lozeau's art was featured in several Custom Culture magazines, including Tiki Magazine, Pinstriping and Custom Graphics, as well as Jesse James' now defunct Garage Magazine.
For several years, Lozeau executed paintings on site at a variety of events such as art fairs and festivals.
His technique was to paint a new piece with enamel atop acrylics. To offset the bold, shiny appearance of the enamels and get better performance than was offered by acrylics, Lozeau turned to gouache to complete his underpaintings, due to its fast dry time, opacity, and malleability.
Switching to gouache allowed him to expand his color palette and enabled him to control the levels of transparency in his paintings.
After experimenting with these various mediums for several years, Lozeau eventually developed a mixed media process of layering acrylics, gouache, and oil-based enamel in order to create pieces with tight line work.
In 2010, Lozeau began building his own custom wood frames and adorning them with rusty metal, worn leather, and/or hand-woven accents in order to complete his vision for each unique painting.
In the same year, Lozeau was the featured artist for the Día de los Muertos celebration at California's Mission San Luis Rey de Francia district.
For that event, he painted a unique piece that was reproduced on the event's T-shirts and posters.
His art was also featured in two hardcover books, The Day of the Dead: El Día De Los Muertos and Custom Graphics 2: Hot Rods, Burlesque, and Rock 'n' Roll published by Korero Press.
Another of his paintings was published in the October edition of Old' School Rods magazine. In 2011, Lozeau was featured in a number of international publications, including Spain's El Diablo magazine and Germany's Customized Magazine.
In 2012, Lozeau co-wrote and illustrated the book Amigos de los Muertos and was featured in a number of magazines, including Car Culture Deluxe and Lowrider Rate, as well as online zine Cherry Picked Design.
In 2013, Lozeau was the Artist in Residence at the Disneyland Wonder Ground Gallery, where his art was featured.
He wrote and illustrated the first in a series of children's books about two winged skeletons and their pet dog, titled Lil' Devils Yearn to Fly.
In 2014, Lozeau was once again the Artist in Residence at the Disneyland Wonder Ground Gallery, and was featured in Custom Magazine and Lowrider magazine, and published his second children's book, Lil' Devils Want to Rock.
In 2015, the Fender Guitar Company released four special edition guitars which feature illustrations by Lozeau.
The "Sacred Heart," "Tree of Life," "Rose Tattoo," and "Dragon" guitars were timed for release prior to the NAMM show. The guitar series was inspired by Lozeau's original guitar art.
The new guitars are available as of March 24, 2015.
