James looks out of place on your bed, still in his rugby jersey with dirt and sweat smeared over his face. He's plopped down right in the middle of your pretty pink bedspread, and your arsenal of equally rosy pillows are soft to the touch as you come back from the bathroom with a set of baby wipes in your hand. You use them most often to clean your hands after meals at restaurants, but today you put one flat against your palm and scrub away the grime on James's skin.
"Darling," He whines, squirming in his seat atop your princess-like bed, "It's fine, 's just a little dirt."
"I don't want it on my pillows," You insist, wiping the towel around his face and starting on a grass stain that colors his arm green, "If you're not gonna shower, I'm gonna wipe you down."
"I'm too tired to shower," He grumbles, letting you smear the stains off of his skin. You nod, craning your neck up to kiss at his freshly-washed face.
"I know." You hum sweetly, and after making sure his cleats aren't still on his feet, you gently push against his shoulders, letting him slump exhaustedly down onto your mountain of pillows. They're all pink and suddenly he's enveloped in a sea of the color while you gather the stained wipes into your fist and head towards the bathroom trash can. He checks his phone once before setting it on your nightstand, seeing that it's only 30 minutes to noon. His practice had earned him a well-deserved nap, and he's hoping to spend most of the afternoon swaddled in your pink blankets.
"Nap?" You ask, though he's already pulling you towards the bed and taking hold of your hips to lower you down on top of him. You giggle at his eagerness, and his joints ache slightly as he moves, but your added weight does nothing to aggravate his sore muscles.
"C'mere," He grumbles, as if you're not already on top of him. You're the perfect pink thing to complete the collection, clad in the color from head to toe as you settle your head against his chest. There's a pink barrette in your hair and he cranes his neck up to kiss at it, his lips pressing sweetly to your head.
"G'night, pinkie pie," He lands a teasing pinch against your hip, using the nickname he'd oh-so-cleverly devised for you after seeing the cartoon character on a children's birthday banner, "Love you."
"Love you too," You grin against his neck, lifting your head lazily to kiss at his lips. He thanks whatever deity crafted him for tinging them pink, because you certainly love to kiss them, and James couldn't ask for more.

Complaining About Fanart
Mwahaha Iโve tricked you this is actually an art appreciation post. But bc Iโm in love and look at fanart all the time every day, Iโve noticed 2 main categories of comic! death of the endless fanart which are as follows:

Y/N put her phone down and dug through the small suitcase of clothes she had packed to find the skirt and top she knew she had packed. Relief flooded through her when she found them at the bottom of the bag.
She darted to the bathroom to get changed, fixing her hair so it looked presentable. She considered lipstick but knew it would make for a nicer first kiss if she stuck to just lip balm. She wanted it to be as perfect as possible.
โReady to go?โ Kyle asked once she emerged. He always looked handsome, but something about the way he looked at that moment was special. He had let his hair run a little more on the wild side than usual. She wondered if it was because she had told him she liked it like that. His top two buttons were undone, whereas he would usually only unbutton the first. She had to snap herself out of admiring him for too long, or she would seem creepy.
โReady!โ She confirmed, realising he was waiting for an answer. She held out her arm, and he linked it with his own. They ignored the kissing noises Ike was making as they walked out the door.
โAre you okay with walking?โ Kyle asked. โItโs only down the road.โ
Y/N looked nervously down at her shoes, realising it was probably a bad idea to have worn heels, but decided to push past it. โIโm happy to walk!โ
Those words haunted her after just five minutes of walking. They were apparently halfway there, but she was already struggling. She did her best to hide her discomfort from Kyle, but he picked up on it as he had slowed down significantly to accommodate her.
By the time they made it to Starkโs Pond, she had to flop down on the nearest bench as soon as possible.
โThis is why I donโt wear heels,โ She groaned, kicking the demon shoes off. โTheyโre a torture device and not the fun kind.โ
โFun torture?โ Kyle was confused for a second, but the realisation hit him right after. โOh! Rightโฆ Yeahโฆโ
โSorry,โ Y/N laughed a little awkwardly. โI guess youโre not into all that?โ
โI guess Iโve justโฆ.โ He tried not to let his thoughts linger on the idea for too long, not out of discomfort but because the idea turned him on a little more than he anticipated. Even though it was 7pm and the sun had mostly set, there was still a hint of light, and he couldnโt risk her seeing a tent in his pants and being weirded out by it. โNever thought of it.โ
โDucks!โ Y/N suddenly gasped, pointing at the birds. โOh! I wish we had something to feed them!โ
โWho says we donโt?โ Kyle grinned as she looked at him in pure excitement. โAnd before you say it, no, itโs not bread because I know thatโs not good for them.โ Looking through the satchel he brought with him, he found the bag of frozen peas he had snuck out from under his momโs nose in preparation. There were always ducks at Starkโs Pond, and Y/N had talked about how she always loved feeding the ducks back at home and educated him on what was safe to feed them. He wanted her to know that he had listened and cared about what she said.
Kyle felt his heart almost leapt out of his chest when she flung her arms around him in a hug that left him breathless, both because of how tight it was and because it was paired with a kiss to the cheek. He reminded himself again that kisses on the cheek were normal for Y/N. She did them all of the time with her friends. They were friends.
When she switched and kissed him on the other cheek as well, his hands instantly tensed around her as he hugged her back. Two kisses. Very good friends.
โCome on!โ Y/N stood up, her shoes abandoned by the bench, not caring about how muddy it was around the pond as she tried to pull Kyle up with her. She almost fell over when he did get up, not expecting the sudden change in force required, but he managed to catch her just in time. She didnโt seem phased, just laughed at the situation.
Her laugh echoed through his mind and heart. He could listen to it on repeat for the rest of his life and never get tired of the sound.
The ducks loved the frozen peas, and watching Y/Nโs joy when they went crazy for them was unlike anything he had ever seen. In his head, he had already planned a future for them where they bought a house in the countryside and raised ducks together. He couldnโt comprehend how he had so quickly become absolutely smitten with her, but he wasnโt upset by it.
As they threw the last handful of peas into the pond, Kyle looked down at Y/N beside him just as she looked up at him, a breathtaking smile on her face. He knew exactly what he needed to do, what he had planned their whole evening around.
All he had to do was lean down and kiss her.
He knew she could sense it. Her smile softened, eyes fluttered half closed as he leaned in andโฆ pulled her in for a hug.
Something in his brain short-circuited. He froze at the last second, head moving to the side to avoid the collision.ย
โI really value our friendship,โ The words left his lips before he could stop them. They were the wrong ones. He was supposed to say that he felt more than friendship for her, but the words were gone, and the moment had slipped from his grip.
โMe too,โ The disappointment in her voice was evident. He could feel it over the disappointment he felt in himself for being a coward and not saying the right thing, not doing the right thing.
โWe should get back before it gets too late,โ He sighed, looking up as the moon started to peek through the trees.
โRight,โ She nodded, looking over at the bench where her shoes lay. โGive me a secondโฆโ She walked over and started to put them back on. Kyle could still salvage the evening. He had to. He owed her that much.
With ease, he lifted her up bridal style, just like he had two weeks before on Halloween. She squealed in surprise, her hands wrapping around the back of his neck for support. Her laughter echoed in his ear, returning a fraction of the joy they had shared before he ruined the moment.
The atmosphere between them had changed, but it wasnโt exactly a pleasant change for either one of them. It wasnโt the change Kyle hoped to have returned home with that evening. Few words were exchanged as they settled in for the night, Y/N on the bed, Kyle on the air mattress. Each faced one another, but they were on their phones.

โDo you want some more blankets?โ He asked, sitting up in preparation to grab some blankets from the closet.

โIโm what?โ He looked up at her from his lower position on the air mattress on the floor. โDo you want me toโฆ?โ She didnโt say anything, just lifted up the covers so he could join her. It was his bed, after all. It made more sense for him to sleep in it than on the air mattress.ย
Slightly hesitantly, he got up and slipped into bed next to her, his body stiffening when her arms wrapped around him. It only took him a few seconds to relax into the position, his arm reaching over her in return. It was the same way they had slept the night before.
โGoodnight, Ky,โ She whispered. His heart skipped a beat at the new nickname. Maybe he hadnโt fucked up his confession as much as he thought?

A/N: I feel like I switched POV here towards the end, but maybe I didn't. Also, the smut doesn't feel very smutty to me, but I think I spent too much time thinking about it.
You eye the thin material of the lingerie critically. It has to be perfect, not because Komโrk is a perfectionist, but because you have plans and youโre going to be very cross if thereโs something wrong with the lingerie that ruins said plans.
Of course those plans involve you driving Komโrk insane, and him fucking you until you canโt walk in the morning, but thatโs not the point.
The point is that if anything about the clothes isnโt right then itโll throw off the whole vibe youโre going for, and thatโs not allowed.
You pick up the skimpy material and run your fingers over the fine lace. And then you heave out a sigh of relief as you confirm that it is still in the same condition that you bought it in. You hazard a glance at your chrono, and take note of the time.
Komโrk still has a few hours before heโll be done for the day. Which gives you time enough to put the rest of your plan in motion.ย
That plan being a long shower with lotions and exfoliating pads and skin and hair masks. You flicker your gaze over the dozens of bottles that you bought for today specifically and you sigh, he has better appreciate this. Or youโre going to cry.
You start the shower, not too hot but not too cold, and toss your shower melt into the corner, allowing the room to fill with the soothing scent of flowers. If you have to spend the next hour or so in the shower, youโre going to at least try to enjoy it.
One hour later, youโre all washed and cleaned and exfoliated and lotioned. And you carefully dry and style your hair in the way that Komโrk likes (he prefers it when you keep it loose so he can tangle his fingers in it). And only once youโre sure that youโre totally dry do you pull on your new lingerie set.
A perfect fit, just like you knew it would be. Itโs a shame that Komโrkโs blue leaves you looking washed out, else you would have purchased a set in that color. Still, you have to hand it to the saleswoman who helped you find a set you liked.
You look amazing in the coral colored set that she picked out for you.
You twist this way and that, just making sure that nothing looks out of place, and once youโre sure that nothing looks wrong, you fish around your jewelry box for the simple pendant that Komโrk gave you when you first started dating, and you hang it around your neck.
Finally happy with your appearance, you glance at the chrono again, and do some quick math. Assuming that Komโrk comes home from work, rather than spending some time with his brothers, he should be home in half an hour.ย
So you pull your new robe on and tie it securely around your waist, and finally leave the bathroom. You grab your comm off the bed and check for any new messages, and then you head into the main part of your home.
Once youโre in the kitchen, you pour yourself a glass of lemonade and hop up on a stool to sip at your drink and play a game on your datapad while you wait for Komโrk to come home.ย
45 minutes later, when youโre considering a second glass of lemonade, you hear the front door slide open. Familiar footsteps enter the house, and the door slides shut, and you listen as Komโrk stops in the front hallway to strip off his armor.ย
You turn on the stool to greet him as you listen to him quietly walk down the hall leading to the front door to the kitchen. And you grin when he enters the room, and stops.ย
His dark gaze immediately drags down your body, and he releases a slow breath, โWell now,โ Komโrk murmurs, โArenโt you as pretty as a picture?โ He drops his bag on the floor just outside the kitchen and walks over to you, a small grin playing on his lips.
โWelcome home,โ You chirp, as you slide to your feet.
โThis is quite a welcome,โ Komโrk agrees as he settles his hands on your hips, โI donโt think Iโve seen this robe before.โ
โItโs new,โ You reply as you lean against him, โDo you like it?โ
โThis color looks amazing on you,โ He replies, as he leans in, and ghosts his lips against your temple, onto to lean down a little more and press his face into your neck, inhaling deeply, โDid you buy a new body wash?โ He mumbles.
โLotion, actually.โ You correct as you wrap your arms around him, โThe bottle says โdesigned to drive him wildโ. So, howโs that working?โ
Komโrk groans and presses a feather light kiss just under your ear, โYou smell amazing,โ He says, โSo Iโd say itโs working.โ
You laugh softly and lightly comb your fingers through his hair, โWell, Iโm glad you approve.โ
โSo much,โ He finally pulls away enough to look at you, โThis is quite the welcome home, cyare.โ
You grin at him and lightly trail your fingers down his cheek, โI have plans, love.โ
Desire flares in his eyes, โTell me?โ
โMm, Iโd rather just show you.โ You take his hands and lightly tug him towards the bedroom, and he follows you obediently, his hungry gaze locked on your face.ย
Once youโre in the room, you lightly move his hands to the belt of your robe, and stand on your toes to catch his lips in a kiss. Komโrk tugs on the belt, and pushes your robe off your shoulders without breaking the increasingly heated kiss.ย
His calloused hands trail over your shoulders and down your arms, and he finally breaks the kiss, โKriff, youโre so soft-โ And then he opens his eyes to look down at you and he stops mid-sentence.
Komโrk stares at you, his jaw slack, for long enough that you giggle. His fingers trail across the fine lace covering your from his eyes, and he seems, legitimately, speechless.
โI thought Iโd try something new. Do you like it?โ
โHoly shit, cyare.โ He breathes out.
โOh, good~โ You say through a giggle.ย
And then Komโrk is moving, his hands wandering across your body, dipping under the lace with a frantic energy that you hoped to wake in him. โHow do I-?โ He mumbles, โI need this off or Iโm going to ruin it-โ
You grin at him, and press your lips to his jaw, โI can always buy another one.โ
Komโrkโs fingers still just under your breasts, and he releases a curse in mandoโa. He grabs the fine material and he pulls it away from you, the thin cloth tearing away from your body.
He tosses the remains of the cloth to the floor, and then he lifts you and tosses you on the bed, pulling a delighted giggle from your lips. Komโrk doesnโt remain separated from you for long, swiftly peeling his blacks off, and tossing them to the side before climbing back over you and crashing his lips against yours.
โLift your lips, cyare,โ He mumbles against you as he slides his fingers under the band of your panties, and the moment you obey his breathless request, he slides the material down your legs and tosses them to the side.
Komโrk pulls away for a moment and stares down at you, something warm and soft on his face, โI love you so much,โ He breathes out, his fingers brushing against your cheek and then trailing down to the pendant hanging around your neck.
You smile up at him, โI love you too,โ
Komโrk leans down and catches your lips in a deep kiss. And then he slowly drags his lips down your throat, between your breasts, across your stomach and hips, and he settles himself between your legs.

I am in awe. The lighting, the detail work?! It has the feathers of trimax but the plant patterning of stampede (and oh gods, the patterning, the detail, the glow--) and then Vash's damned hand?! You've got all the pieces plus the texture and I'm just staring. AND the symbolism! Like, you've got Wolfwood staring at Vash, though Vash himself is hidden from view, and I'm just ajkghdkghjkd

designing the unicorn twins was an interesting little challenge, trying to make them look horse enough to be able to blend in with the masses but also predatory enough to make you go hey wait Thats Not A Horse. vash needs to put more effort into making himself look harmless because A. he moves differently from an equine when he isnt putting up an act with his exaggerated gait and B. the prey part in my centaurs brains is alive and well and theyre a suspicious bunch by nature so seeing vash stalk towards them in his normal gait would set off a lot of alarm bells

I loved the analysis on Gojos recent โincidentโ. While I was very disappointed in the beginning (keep in mind, I am not even black, just a woman of color) I think Gege tried to address some very prevalent underlying issue of Japanese (or more likely Asian) society. It also makes sense that Gojo was the one to bring that point across, since, as you said, he is the perfect character, given his entire character and personality. Iโm just a bit sad bc from an outside perspective it looks like Gege keeps dragging Gojos character through the dirt. The timing was horrendous and it kinda gives of the vibe that Gege wants people to hate him - which I donโt even think is the case. I mean Gojo did apologize and I donโt think it was ill intended just very ignorant of him. So yes there is definitely character growth happening. Itโs just a bit questionably executed.
Oh, also, Iโm not even the anon who sent the ask, just someone who wanted to share her opinion too. So no need to answer this if you donโt want the topic to keep being dragged on you blog.

The wind blew Ty's hair off his face and swiftly caressed his cheeks. The boy raised his hand to brush the sand off his skin; on his way home he drifted to the beach to find some shells. When he got what he wanted, Ty headed home.
The headphones were hanging around his neck while he twisted them in his fingers. The sun hit his face; warm beams of light hugging him tightly. He looked at the clear sky and smiled to himself, because it had that specific shade of blue that he loved so much.
It reminded him of someone's eyes.
When he opened the door to his house, familiar voices greeted him; his siblings - Julian and Livvy - were sitting in the living room and having a conversation.
"I'm kinda worried about this kid, I heard he's skipping school more than ever and his grades dropped" Julian said in his "parent" voice.
"What kid?" Livvy asked.
"Kit Herondale, he's your age, but he's in a different class. Do you know him? He's blonde, has tons of piercings and even tattoos" He whispered the last word like it was a curse.
Ty furrowed his eyebrows.
"You mean that hottie with perfect face? Of course I know him. And I think he has some troubles with his dad and works part-time. That's why he skips. "
"Well, as a SCP I should report this to our headmaster. He could help him out. "
Ty stepped into the room. They looked at him in surprise but greeted him quickly.
"Don't do that. " he said.
"What? "
"Report him. It's an asshole move, don't be an asshole. "
"I just want to help him!"
"It's not going to help him, it's going to make his situation even worse, so don't do that. " Ty was annoyed. He shot Livvy a look.
"Yeah, Julian. Don't do it. I'm sure Kit's gonna figure everything out himself. And you have your own problems to deal with. Don't forget your final exams are close."
Julian let out a gasp but didn't argue anymore.
"Why are you defending Kit so hard? Are you two friends? " he asked.
"No." Ty answered quicker than he wanted. "No, I just feel that it would be a bad move. That's it."
Livvy smiled at him mischievously. She, of course, knew why Ty was so defensive about Kit, but she didn't say a word.
As a cheerleader captain, his twin sister knew about every single gossip existing in the school. Of course a word about her brother didn't skip her ears.
So when she asked about it, he told her the truth.
Later, at night, Ty sneaked out of the house like he always did; and he went to the same place - the beach. It was a full moon, a white light shone upon earth making it look like a black and white movie.
When Ty got to the beach, Kit was already there: his leather jacket and black jeans gave him that dark vibe, but his golden hair glowed in the moonlight.
He looked like an angel dressed as death.
He looked at Ty and smiled widely.
Ty felt his heart dying and coming back to live in a second; everything inside him exploded in infinite energy and made him want to scream.
And he felt like that everyday. He even thought that it was getting stronger and stronger with each meeting.
Ty was going crazy.
But it was fine.
"For a top student you're really rebellious, aren't you? Sneaking out at night to meet with some guy. " Kit smiled.
"Some guy? I only see my boyfriend. " Ty gave him a sweet look.
Kit came up to him and immediately hugged him tightly. Ty loved the way he wrapped his hands around his back; gently, but fiercely.
Ty put his head on Kit's shoulder and closed his eyes; he only heard the ocean waves and a beat of Kit's heart.
"How was your day? " Kit whispered as if he didn't want to disturb the moment.
"Good. But I missed you. "
Kit chuckled.
"You can't live without me that much? "
Ty lifted his head up and looked him in the eyes for a second. He couldn't see their exact color in the moonlight but he saw it in his mind; clear blue sky. His gaze drifted to the mole on his cheek.
"Yes, I can't live without you that much. "
Kit grabbed his head and pulled him into a kiss; his lips were warm and soft. Ty felt like he was being wrapped in the blankets on a cold winter night - sudden warmth spreading around his body.
He pressed closer to Kit and slipped his hands into his hair; he did it so many times but it always amazed Ty how delicate and soft they were.
Kit broke the kiss and looked at his boyfriend; the longing written on his face was tremendous. Ty shivered.
"I love you" he said.
Everything in Ty gave up; a wide smile appeared on his face.
"I love you too"
He poked Kit's cheek and caressed it; Kit leaned into his touch.
The ocean danced with the moonlight as two boys stood in each other's embrace.

Day 1 of Gureshin Week - Most Memorable Scene
and I instantly thought about this scene that made me fall in love with them in just a blink of an eye. I didn't get any vibes and then suddenly I totally got it. From 0 to 100 % in 3 seconds ๐
So I wanted to color it. I used some "hacks" that mde it possible to do some quick coloring and as I am not an artist, I mostly guessed where to put a bit more shadows. So it's far from perfect.
But Guren and Shinya fighting together is just ๐

Hiya Wendy and Deano, I hope you're well today ๐ Do you have any sleep headcanons for the Haitanis, Shion and Mocchi? Favorite positions alone and with someone else, preferred bedding, with or without a light/fan on, stuffed animal or not, etc. (I bet the brothers can only sleep on the finest Egyptian cotton, lol!) Ran Haitani
Ran isn't picky when it comes to sleeping positions. Usually, he'll sleep alone (unless Rindou demands to sleep in the same bed) because why would he let his flings stay the night? Not a thing in the Haitani house. Ran likes to sleep on Tuft and Needle Jersey Sheets (they're the softest thing around, so he buys one for him and one for Rindou) and enjoys the cool side of the pillows. No lights, please; this diva needs his beauty rest. An eye mask is imperative, and the A/C must be at 71 degrees Fahrenheit exactly. No more, no less. Now let this man starfish in peace.
Rindou Hatani
Rindou is the babyist Haitani, so when he's not sleeping in his brother's bed, he's curled up on his own, in the fetal position. He's also the little spoon, so be prepared to hold him tight. Rin snores softly, likes to have a little nightlight, and enjoys rain sounds as he falls asleep. Rin thinks that 71 degrees is wayyy too cold, so he sleeps with a comforter on - burning hot is the perfect temperature. He even has a weighted blanket to help him get through those late nights when he can't sleep and Ran isn't there. He's got only one stuffed animal - a sheep - from Ran at 4. The thing has lost its eyes and one leg, but Rin will sew it up and keep it beside him at all times. Don't touch it unless you want to lose a limb.
Shion Madarame
SHION IS ANOTHER BABY. But he takes it to the extreme. Shion has a collection of plushies from different anime shows he's into but hides them under the bed during the day in case someone comes over. He sleeps with a fan on, and the window cracked open on really warm nights. He enjoys the feeling of freedom, so there's no such thing as a shirt when asleep. Prefers to sleep without the covers and starfishes out by himself (open-mouthed, snoring), but when he's with someone else, he'll curl into their side and fall asleep (open-mouthed, snoring, drooling). Shion loves to fall asleep just as the sun rises and prefers the comfort of a snuggle with a plushie over empty arms. Shion doesn't care about the bedding, so he'll use the same sheets for over six years before replacing them, usually with a cheap design, so he can remember his racecar bed days.
Kanji Mochizuki
Mochi is a big boy, but he sleeps on his stomach. He's a "dead as a doornail" sleeper, making very little noise. Prefers to lay on his stomach with his arm outstretched to accompany the other person in bed with him but will compromise and be a big spoon if needed. Mochi only has solid-colored sheets, usually darker colors, but he also vibes with soft sheets and will purchase whichever one meets the "cheap but comfy" test (which he does against his face). Big, fluffy pillows are a must, and thick blankets are a necessity, too. Suffice to say, if Mochi doesn't have a bed big enough for his whole body (no limbs hanging off), then he's not happy laying in cramped spaces. Mochi doesn't have any plushies or toys, but he'll take one from whomever he's with and treasure it.

What makes me happy about fandom is that it is so much more than "just fandom." Certainly it is a place to yell and scream with other unhinged like minded people.
It is also a safe haven to reread a comfort fic on a bad day. A place to learn new skills and grow your creativity. It's finding a particularly hilarious, heartbreaking or mind-blowing creation and shoving it at all your fandom besties. Fandom is a way to torture your poor blorbos (again) as a way to process grief, fear, anxiety, sadness and any other number of scary (and amazing!) emotions.
Not adding anything new here, but it is Fandom Friends. Encouraging messages when you need that final push to finish something. Hi, I had this crazy stupid idea today and wrote it while I should have been working. Will you beta it for me? Exchanging birthday and holiday cards. I'm sorry yesterday sucked. Hopefully today is better. Tag games! Have a safe trip and let me know when you get there. The absolute amazement that I may not know your real name or where you're from, but I know that your favorite color is royal blue, you adore bats, love to crochet, wanted to run a seal sanctuary when you grew up, love soup as much as life itself, or nerd out on spreadsheets. What a time to be alive, besties.

Hi author, anon about the ask over your CTF Jace and Aemond characterization here โ๐พ
First of I want to say that you are very kind to answer all of our asks, questions and comments. I of course left various comments on your fics but I often wonder if I or we, arenโt annoying you โฆ but then I guess that is also the beauty of fanfiction over regular fiction novels,right ? the access, the direct line of communication the readers have with the writer. anyway a very tiny paragraph to say that Iโm very grateful for your interactions with us on your tumblr.
To go back to my ask & your answer โฆ I hope you didnโt think I was disparaging your Aemond and its characterization (if it came out that way I really apologize). I think heโs very likable and comes out as any individual who lost his eye & didnt get too see the perpetrator punished, and finally got a dragon and saw himself being reprimanded for it. Meaning heโs bitter, angry and slightly closeted. Also the yearning he has for Jacaerys that you made us peeped in the last chapter made him a very compelling character.
I like what you say abt still maintaining Aemondโs (book canon and show canon) darkness and his thoughts being as dark as his heart. Now I imagine CTF!Aemondโs yearning for Jacaerys is not all rainbows and flowery hope of a courtship. I figure at night, in his room โฆ he must think abt all he could to Jacaerys โฆ๐ซฃ
I also like what you say abt Aemond having to change for a place next to Jacaerys. It also parallel how Jacaerys will have to accept Aemond and his not so savory parts too (& also how the throne will inevitably change Jacaerys in some capacity). Ultimately both Jace and Aemond will have to make concessions to be together but also put a lot of trust in one another and love, lust and trust donโt often go together. They have a long way to go โฆ which is probably very fun for you to write as the author.

"bitter, angry, and slightly closeted" is such an excellent description of aemond in general but CTF!aemond especially๐๐ญ let's just say he thinks some very...colorful and impassioned thoughts abt jace frequently๐ณ๐ซฃ i'm glad you find my characterization of him compelling!!
since the FMF/CTF universe is supposed to be a fix-it, i'm really trying to get jacemond's dynamic to be as healthy as possible. not necessarily perfect by our modern standards of course, it is still westeros, but healthy all the same. and i personally think it's a mark of a healthy/equal relationship when you don't try to change one another but rather, your love inspires each other to change. (otherwise, what are you there for? just find someone who already fits your necessary criteria lol, trying to build-a-bear a relationship you're already in just sounds like a recipe for endless fights and disappointment+disaster) but yeah i'm a romantic what can i say๐ฅฒ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ like you mention, there's still a long way to go before both them get to being completely level with each other; trust, i think, must preclude love - it has to be there for it to form in the first place, otherwise it's just lust/obsession - and neither of them are really at trust yet. it's def equal parts fun to flesh out but also frustrating bc i know all of us just wanna be there already๐
