Hey Sydney (you finally found some luck etc)! How was the show??
hello friend!!! i was waiting for you to reach out (though i was gonna make a post when i got back home)
warning for those who are reading on - i’m on mobile so no read more, and these incohesive thoughts WILL include spoilers for the film and musical versions of wine and roses. read on at your own risk!
so i loved it, though as always i have thoughts. first thing i want to mention is i love the staging. i was up super close and the pre-show staging is reminiscent of a greenhouse
Tumblr media
which i found so evil! but they were creative in the staging to keep the action moving. my favorite bits were the pivotal pier scene takes place overlooking the audience. brian and kelli moved over the set piece and stepped out onto us and were literally staring right down at us as they spoke! kelli’s first line for that was “look at all this trash” which got us a laugh. there were also two little pools of water on stage which they utilized nicely. there was one moment when kelli’s character is on a bender and she falls and for a minute we forget the pool is there and she almost falls in. they also had brian climb up the side of the stage to act out the climbing out the window to the greenhouse.
i want to start with brian. he was incredible. i’ve always loved him and this is a fact, but god damn he was crushing it. it was honestly really emotional seeing him up close! he has an amazing voice and he really captures the complexities of joe - it’s hard to fill an established film star’s shoes, and BDJ has shown he can go toe to toe with jack lemmon AND tony curtis. the scene that got me with him was the greenhouse scene (i’ll elaborate on this more in a minute). he really goes for the physicality of it - my only note, and i know this is bc it’s staged, is that i really wanted to see brian go for it and just tear up the greenhouse the way film joe does. his performance is intense but i wanted to see him GO THERE.
kelli is the star of this show. most people at my show were there for her, but also she gets the big songs and the big moments, and that’s fine bc she’s fucking kelli o’hara. she is an amazing singer…. and kirsten is a really hard character to play. she really had me concerned for her at so many moments (where she sets the apartment building on fire… i knew that was coming but there were several little fake outs that had me holding my breath).
i have issues processing songs on a first listen so it’s hard for me to talk about the music, but i will say the song they sing every time they fall off the wagon gutted me. the first time it’s so charming! a little dance ditty (and watching them dance is SO FUN) but when it continues to come up again and again i just started crying lol. there’s also a really good song brian and then later kelli sings about finally recognizing yourself while sober. kelli and the actress who plays their kid have a song that made me cry too towards the end
so my biggest “issues” with the show are that…. i don’t really like how the show adapts the jim storyline! the actor who plays jim is great, but so many of his lines are about how joe is a born drunk and he’ll die a drunk and once he accepts that he can get sober, etc., which feels……. i don’t know! not very nuanced re: addiction. especially when the show cuts out one of the most important bits of dialogue from the movie, that kirsten’s love of chocolate may have been a warning sign of an addictive tendency. the show seems to imply that joe was born this way but he MADE kirsten an addict, instead of the reality that she already had those same tendencies too. it’s a weird change that kinda alters the dynamic the characters have.
i also wish the show had utilized some of the most powerful visual moments from the film: joe being so drunk he crushes the flowers he brings home (this happens in the show but it’s never really addressed), joe seeing his reflection in the mirror and not recognizing himself (brian does this in passing - if you’re looking at him you see it, but the focus is on kelli so it can easily go unnoticed and it’s never addressed!), and the last shot of joe and the BAR neon sign. this last one is most likely something they wanted to do but couldn’t in lighting, but still! it’s an iconic and heartbreaking shot. i would have loved to see that.
little things i loved: brian and kelli were clearly having so much fun and that was a joy to watch, they have such an easy chemistry, you could easily buy that these two people were in love, brian does the thing he always does where he shimmies his hips and it’s so embarrassing, he also does a little strip tease and i was fucking dying, the actress who plays their kid is so good and she has one of the most heartbreaking lines that no one seemed to get — “i know how to do everything,” which made me cry! again, the greenhouse scene is just amazingly well done and the greenhouse set becomes a part of the staging for the rest of the musical, as if joe’s actions continue to haunt him throughout the rest of it.
i’m trying to think of what else to say! it’s just really good and i’m so happy i got to see it. i don’t know what will happen with the show in the future, but i hope more people get a chance to listen to it or watch it.
also i didn’t talk much about meeting brian! he was really nice, when i showed him the ssos script he was genuinely stunned. he was like oh wow! and when he asked me who to make it out to, he thought i was joshing him when i said my name was sydney. but he was kind - i told him how much he means to me (and all of us!) and he thanked me. he was like don’t miss kelli!! before he left. kelli was super sweet too - she had the same reaction lol, “oh wow!” and then bc i can here’s me and the bestie again:

SPOILERS // @dixonscarol posted possible spoilers yesterday about the arc in 11C that leads to Daryl and Carol leaving the Commonwealth together - in short, Daryl is on the run and Carol saves him and off they go. Bizarrely, this has made me MORE WORRIED that they won’t actually go canon; that it’ll be action action action, Daryl’s forced to run and Carol hates the Commonwealth anyway, so why not set off together. I just kind of hate that there’s going to be a reason other than that they want to shag uninterrupted for the rest of their days. But I suppose it explains why/how they can leave the kids behind. MEH. Am I overthinking this?
I think the main thing to remember is that everything right now is speculative based on incohesive pieces of filming information. We don't know how it's all going to come together on screen. My guess is Carol breaking Daryl out of prison if that's indeed what's going on won't be the launching pad for their New Mexican getaway. There's going to be more story and it's not all going to be action action action. One thing I love about AK is how much she cares about the emotional journeys. It's Daryl's and Carol's emotions and desires (i.e. peace, happiness, love) that will ultimately drive their decision to leave. Not just circumstances out of their control.
There really is no solid explanation for why they leave the kids. When creative and business bleed into each other, the writers' hands get tied and all they can do is come up with something believable though not ideal. Hence why they used Judith to encourage Michonne to go look for Rick. Hence Daryl's and Judith's conversation in 10x15. I suspect Judith will end up telling Daryl to think about his own happiness for once instead of trying to take care of everyone else, that he doesn't need to stay for her because it's like he said, she has a lot of family.

sorry for this post i have to complain about the dark artifices for a moment it’ll be short i prommy anyway i think my main issue with that trilogy isn’t even the plot, like we know cassie is bad at plot thats not a surprise ok we come to her books because she’s very good at characters and dynamics and making you go crazy stupid when two characters kiss after hundreds of pages of pining. sometimes she’s very good at plot but that’s only 35% of the time like with the og tmi and lady midnight. anyway my main beef is that like half the characters i don’t even care about. like christina and mark i loved, but why exactly am i meant to be thrilled about them throupleing up with kieran. kieran is nothing to me i hate kieran why did kieran have so much page time while my girl dru had like ten collective pov pages in the whole trilogy. and why did she write diana Like That she sets up this whole annoying mystery about diana in lady midnight and i’m gonna be real i don’t remember what the Big Reveal even was i think her sister died or something and she blamed herself? which is such a dumb thing to blow out of proportion like that for three books lol. also. diego and jamie were so underwhelming in the end what even was that. i actually remember liking diego a bit but even then they were underwhelming as characters idk if at that point the series was just soo over saturated with new characters and plots and setups for twp and callbacks to tlh or what but geez. it’s almost like she only made tda as an in between series between tmi and twp because it is so incohesive and muddled the only over arching plotline in the three books is emma and julien’s romance. which yeah was incredible and i love them dearly, but beyond that it’s such a bad trilogy i literally hate her

I have been tagged by @winterfrosted to pick 5 of my favorites creations and tell you something behind the creative process 💛
as always I'll add the obligatory keep reading to save you from the long ass post this will inevitably turn out to be because ✨I literally can't stop talking✨
so, in no particular order:
this the queen's gambit edit I wouldn't say I'm particularly good at coloring gifs, usually the opposite actually 😂 but I'm quite proud of how the colors in most of the gifs in this set turned out. As a redhead myself, I know the best color combo for red/orange hair is green because it looks amazing, and the execution ended up looking even better than I thought. I even saved a screenshot of the before and after of the first one because I liked it so much. tbh you never realize how dull and dark movies/shows are until you try to gif them 😳
Tumblr media
this mazikeen edit The way I fought with davinci resolve for an entire day just to get that text effect. It's been a week and to this day I still don't understand what I did to get it to look like that, I have not been able to replicate it even after tracing back all my steps and at this point I probably never will 😭 my leading theory is that I clicked so much random shit to try and get it that the program took pity on me and did it by itself because otherwise it makes no sense. Other than suffering over the text and other davinci woes, I thought it'd be cool to do the dc comics parallel with the scene in which she's wearing her og mask, and I love that color scheme for her 😩👌
this merthur x shawn mendes lyrics set while I don't think the entire ensemble of gifs work particularly well together (all my gifsets 🤝 being incohesive af), I actually really like them individually! The blending is a huuuge improvement compared to a couple months ago when I was first starting out giffing. It was also the first time I tried working with a bigger size, almost square instead of the usual rectangular, and I don't think I did that bad of a job tbh.
this star wars edit I actually don't like how the first gif turned out, it looked much metter in my head but I think the rest of the set is pretty cool. This was my first time ever giffing star wars, and that scene isn't the easiest, what with all the red. I like the font I used, surprisingly enough. And also I'm quite proud of the blending in the anakin gif in particular 😍 (I may be biased bc I love anakin though, who knows)
this bbc merlin + nature set my first attempt at unnatural coloring, also I'm obsessed with shots of tiny people completely immersed in nature in general. All in all it's very calming to look at, I like how it turned out.
I'm tagging (no pressure of course!!) @mxrisacoulter @mouffetard @camelotsheart @screenwritr @arthurpendragonns @ughmerlin @witchmd13

second part of that long ask from ur swf anon :)
after the main dancer was chosen for each class, they would complete the choreo and decide formations for their performances. one of the benefits of the main dancer was that they were always center. they also had the benefit of wearing more embellished clothing to stand out (most noticeable in x class, where rian the main dancer was wearing orange while everyone else was wearing green). here is the full list (mnet truly has the WORST camera angles, so i only included the full cam ver of the performances):
1. assistant class: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF2evLz98h4&ab_channel=MnetTV
2. leader class: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srjJzRVVmxc&ab_channel=CHANNIECHANNEL
the judges shared that even though no:ze was the main dancer/in the center/had the most shiny outfit, they didn't really see her. all the other dancers, in their opinion, stood out and overpowered her.
3. sub class: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mY_3E7W8v30&ab_channel=CHANNIECHANNEL
4. x class (i'm not sure what this class was called): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fC-_8fbn_s4&ab_channel=Whatthejess
judges shared that lip j was the stand out of this class. she's the girl on the far left at 0:36. (it was originally her choreo but rian was chosen as the main dancer so that's why she is credited.)
*i only included comments that were stand outs.
-
i'm not sure how much creative input the main dancers were given regarding stage design... they didn't show it in the episode so i'm assuming that mnet just told them to show up and perform (because like, the rainbow thing they shot at the end of the leader's performance seemed so random? it didn't match what they were doing). after each performance, the main dancers from each class were asked to pick someone who they thought was the worst dancer. in doing so, the person chosen would lose points for their crew.
judges also chose an mvp crew they thought were the best. prowdmon (monika + lip j + others [sorry i don't know their names. the show really only focuses on these two]) was selected and this gave them the advantage of choosing which crews went against each other in ep4. so, it wasn't a random lottery draw! in the episode, they only showed the part where prowdmon chose to go against wayb (context: no:ze, the main dancer from the leader class, chose monika as the worst dancer. and this made her mad so she was like we're going against wayb - no:ze's crew). i'm not sure why they didn't show how the other crews were paired up. because ya, coca n butter + hook is definitely an interesting match.
also like, wayb was eliminated from the show after ep4's mission.
-
and it seems like from here on out, there will be a mission each episode to determine who will be eliminated. i'm honestly not too sure. for their next mission, they're doing a mega crew mission and mnet doesn't really explain it; but it seems like each crew is doing a performance on a larger scale (with more members added to their crew). also, like mnet is ass and doesn't upload all the performances onto their channel..... they only upload the ones that were the most popular/had the biggest public reaction which is why i had a hard time finding the clips for the classes mission. hopefully they do from here on out.
another v long post. thank u again for reading and sharing ur thoughts! always love hearing them. (also, pls let me know if i'm oversharing. u mentioned not caring for the competitive nature and drama so i'm not sure if i was adding too much. there really isn't drama imo. mnet tries to do their best to edit and make it seem that way but when u watch the show, the girls truly root for each other and are friends.)
mnet truly has the worst camera angles i hate them so much. also why are they still streaming on a goddamn potato. the quality is SO bad i can barely see anything!! there's a lot of me complaining in this one i'm sorry in advance.
1. assistant class
i have to assume that whoever they chose as the main dancer is the one that stays in centre because i cannot tell from the clothing at all. i don't think she was a standout performer here, but also the camera and the fire effects are WAY too wild to actually get a good grasp on who even was the standout. i also have to assume that the dancers have no say in the design because design is not a big part of street dance and this kind of chaos screams m 'too-much-money-dont-know-how-to-use-it' net. they built this massive set, barely used it, and didn't leave enough room for the proper formation spacing!! ugh. i hope the judges actually got to see a locked off version of this without all that fire in front of the camera because if i were them i would be squinting down the end of my glasses like a grandma at the screen. that's what i was doing anyways but still.
2. leader class
i have to agree, i don't think noze stood out as the main dancer here. and geniunely i cannot tell that they embellished her costume more. like damn, that stylist took a masterclass in subtlety, because i was easily paying more attention to whoever was wearing those massive thigh high cutout garter stockings and woven bodysuit combo. i am assuming that the point of these challenges was probably to be noticed the most so that they can score points and pick who they went up against for the elimination round? i'm not entirely clear but my point remains; ngl i don't really like this method of creating performance because it means that no one is there to create a performance, yanno? troupe/group choreo like this thrives on teamwork to actually make it a good performance. i know it's a pretty classic method of weeding out people for auditions and stuff like that but personally i find it a wholly uncompelling viewing experience, especially when it's a fully produced stage like this. i know everyone very likely gets along behind the scenes but the incohesion of intent is very obvious. also what's up with the assistant class getting a massive set and the leaders getting a bunch of cars and some smoke pyrotechnics? i mean, i am glad they filmed it during the day, but i am confused by the disparity.
3. sub class
i wish i could describe how poorly mnet shot this. it's not a fucking mama stage, it's a dance stage!! we need to see the choreo properly!!!! and together!!! obviously i don't care about stitching together different takes for the final edit but just...not having a continuity at all in the choreo is a bit jarring. again, i am also not sure how one is supposed to evaluate how well these dancers did, because i can barely see what people are doing. or who the main dancers are. i know i'm railing a lot on mnet here but i can't give an accurate reading of the dancers because legitimately it is so hard to tell what's going on. if they want to bill this as a legitimate dance show, why are they shooting it like a kpop performance? the camerawork for kpop serves a specific function: to add to the visual spectacle and to highlight the idols' faces. you don't need either of those things for shoot choreography, so why do we keep getting closeups of dancers' faces? not that these dance videos aren't spectacle-y or fun, because they very much are, but they really suck at their one primary function, which is displaying the choreo.
4. x class
this is definitely the one where the camera work is the closest to what it should be, but then they go and fuck it up by adding rain! just the groundwater would have been fine, but noooo they had to add the extra rain so there would be extra water drops on the lens!! this is my favourite choreo of all four of these, i think there's the most cohesion and (excluding the rain) it's got a good mix of spectacle with the water and the blacklight and the right camera angles to show the choreo mostly well. i still don't understand why they cut in those sections that don't fit with the rest of the flow though. why. you could have one-taked this and it would have looked dope as fuck. i agree that lip j stands out the most, obviously it's her choreo so it's the best suited to her character and abilities.
---
if it wasn't a random lottery draw they should at least have the courtesy of showing people why who picked who!! that's the most interesting part! and i'm not that surprised about wayb being eliminated, prowdmon really stomped them into the ground with that revenge energy. i'm interested in this larger scale performances concept, because i'm not really sure what that looks like in this particular context. if they do end up on youtube i will review them! and you're not oversharing at all, the context is fine! i don't mind reading it as information, i just don't like actually watching it with my own eyes. i can't watch that kind of thing in reality tv because it makes me want to sit everyone down like a kindergarden teacher and go "ok, now why are we all yelling?". too many years of tense rehearsal conflict negotiation and i just want to whack everyone upside the head. it's not very cathartic for me lmao. i have no doubt that everyone is friends because dance scenes are small and i'm sure they've all worked together lots, but even just the editing sets off my fight or fight reflexes.

No one asked but here are my opinions on the WeGo collabs Bandori has done. Under the cut because I got a lot of shit to day and also they have seventeen characters.
Tumblr media
Wave one
Overall opinion: Very trendy and fashion forward. Definitely the midpoint between comfy and fashion. All together they’re a little incohesive, Lisa especially looks overdressed here, but overall they’re very cute. They look like they’re gonna get coffee together, or maybe go to the Yamabuki bakery to try the new bread.
Hina: She’s probably my least favorite look, but I still think she looks quite cute. Her skirt is honestly what I have the biggest problem with, I just think it looks very saturated. Luckily her item in the collab was the bag which is what I want out of this outfit.
Moca: She looks ready to kiss girls and I respect the hell out of that. I don’t have much to say about this look except for that I don’t like the length of the pants. I know you wanted to show off your cool socks but the length is stressing me out please. I THINK the jacket was her item which I would like.
Saya: SO cute, SO SO cute!!!! Her low side pony, her fashion glasses, the long dull yellow cardigan, her pants!!!!! Absolute mom energy!!! LOVE it!!!! Her item was the shirt that has “heartbeat” on it which is a reference to her character song, I’d buy it but I’m not 100% sure I’d wear it.
Lisa: I said she was overdressed but she is far and away my favorite in this set. She said “I wanna be a PREP” and she delivered. That gingham skirt, the BERET, her hair being completely down!!!!! She did, in fact, do that!!!! Her item was the comfy ass sweater!!!! GOD I WISH I HAD IT WEH...
Misaki: She kinda looks like she threw together her outfit last minute but you know what I respect her. OH my god she’s wearing a jirt (jean skirt) i thought she was wearing jorts this whole time. I also think the headband is very cute! Her item was her hoodie which is adorable, I’d buy it.
Tumblr media
Wave two
Overall opinion: This one is on the comfy side of the WeGo line, and the most cohesive of the four groups. Honestly this looks like they’re going to a fall festival and they’re gonna post their looks on Instagram.
Chisato: EXTREMELY comfy. She looks very preppy, and I adore her braid. Her item is her “JULIET” sweater.
Ran: Very punk, I think it’s a very brave choice to match her fishnets with those boots. I love her ear muffs. Her item was her hoodie.
Tae: She looks like a very preppy college kid, which is a very nice vibe. I honestly think it’s the skirt that sends it to college kid, alongside her bun. Her item was her letterman jacket, which I know has “HANAZONO LAND” on it, which is a reference to her character song.
Rinko: I would wear her outfit, it’s SO comfortable looking, AND HER HAIR IS SOOOOOO CUTE!!!!! I JUST NOTICED HER SOCKS HAVE BOWS ON THEM I WANT TO HUG HER!!!!!!!! Her item was the bag that has “Neo Fantasy Online” on it, which is the MMO she plays.
Kaoru: Giant Lesbian Energy. I have no idea what her shirt says, it looks like it’s supposed to be a SUPREME parody. This is a gay person I respect. Also love the buttons on her beanie. Her item was the long-ass plaid coat with “hakanai” stitched on it.
Tumblr media
Wave three
Overall opinion: The trendy half of the scale. Pretty cohesive, although I think Aya’s messes with the balance a little. These gals look ready to go to a theme park and drag poor Arisa by the arm to go on all the rides.
Aya: Honestly the least fashionable out of the group, which I think is a bit odd for an idol, but makes total sense when she’s off-duty. I wish they sold her phone case because it’s also very cute. I like her glasses too! Her item is, surprisingly enough, her hoodie.
Himari: SO cute, oh my god. I adore all her vibes here. Her skirt, her necklace, all the colors, her pose. Adore her. I hold her, so cute. Her item is the plaid over-shirt.
Ako: BABY GIRL. BABY!!!!! Her one ponytail looks a little odd but she is the most fashionable middle schooler. I LOVE her chucks. Her item is the cross-body bag.
Arisa: WAH I LOVE HER BRAIDS she looks so nice like she’s about to go into the forest. Also her lepord print bag, so cute. Her item is her jacket, which has a bonsai on it.
Hagumi: The most comfortable here. She looks like she’s ready to run anywhere, which absolutely fits with her personality. I love this little honkgumi. Weh. Her item is her sweater!
Tumblr media
NayuRen
Overall opinion: Compared to the girls, these two are LACKING, especially in their pose. Ren is simply Standing There. However I can’t bring myself to hate it. Definitely on the comfy side of the scale, a little incohesive but then again what can you do with two people who have very different fashion sense. They look like they’re about to go on a date with each other which is literally what every fanartist who’s drawn these two in these outfits have said (they will literally title it “nayuren date clothes”).
Ren: I want his hoodie so fucking badly. It has the words “Triones” on it, which are the seven stars of the Big Dipper, and the sleeve has the Big Dipper’s seven stars on it... whiiiiiiich is 100% a reference to his last name (Nanahoshi = Seven Stars). I make fun of him but I still want the hoodie so I am booboo the fool. His scarf also has writing on it, “If I am with you I can even catch a shooting star”, next to a ship, which I think is a reference to Argonavis (his band) which is ADORABLE. He looks extremely comfy, very warm. Ren in a scarf gives me the UWUs. Both his hoodie and his scarf is what they’re selling.
Nayuta: Okay. Okay. Okay. Nayuta is already a gay people I do not respect. So THIS fucking fit?! WHO GAVE HIM THE FUCKING BERET?!?!?!?!?! Every single person who’s seen this has pretty much agreed that it was Ren but like, when they were drawing this, why did they think someone who’s main visual charm point is his hair cat ears needed a hat. Combined with the plaid shirt, and I say this as kindly as I can, this is the gayest fucking outfit they could’ve put this man in. Combined with the fact that it looks like he’s looking at Ren, we get it you fucking catboy you have a crush on him and can’t process it. Oh and the text above his shirt says “NO ONE CAN STOP ME” which is a lyric in the song SCATTER. They’re selling the shirt and the gay little hat and honestly I kinda want the beret.

The Secrets of Successful Photography Blogging: How To Make It Worth Your Time
You've heard that you ought to blog in case you're a picture taker. You've seen an ever increasing number of shooters with online journals. Hell, you've most likely even begun one yourself! Step by step instructions to get paid for your photography in the following 30 days!

Along these lines, you may as of now have a blog, or you may think about one. In any case, how about we begin off by discussing the reasons why blogging is so essential for picture takers.
The Reasons Why Blogging Is So Important For Photographers
Photography is an administration, and an individual one at that. Your customers are giving you access to their lives, and confiding in you with some really defining moments. The more you can give them motivation to feel good with procuring you, the better.
A blog is an ideal instrument for doing only that. It offers you the chance to demonstrate your identity, why you are a picture taker, and what esteem you can give to a planned customer. It gives them an investigate your inspirations and how you treat your customers—information that will be vital to their choice.
The most effective method to get paid for your photography in the following 30 days!
What's more, obviously, it gives them a chance to see your best in class work! When you are simply beginning (as in, amid you initial 5 – 10 years as a shooter) you are presumably going to enhance your work at an exceptionally fast rate. Portfolio destinations tend to get stale, and numerous picture takers disregard to refresh them consistently. A blog guarantees that planned customers are seeing your most up to date (and likely best) pictures. That guarantees that they know about your present shooting style, which likewise tends to advance!
Sites are additionally preferred for SEO over portfolio destinations, since they have visit updates and bunches of delectable substance (Google loves scrumptious substance). A very much kept up and oftentimes refreshed blog can totally shoot up the inquiry rankings!
Tumblr media
Another advantage is that online journals are an extremely incredible path for your customers to share the pictures you took of them! Individuals love seeing their very own photographs on their picture taker's blog, and will impart the connection to all their family and companions. Um… .hi amazing informal promoting!! Your customers may even inquire as to whether they'll make the blog, they're so eager to be highlighted. Set aside the opportunity to make incredible posts for your customers, share why you appreciated working with them, and they'll adore the experience, and spread the news about you. Win-win!!
At the center, a blog is going to give you a chance to begin setting up your own image. You can get your one of a kind voice crosswise over gratitude to the story style of a blog. This is not quite the same as a portfolio, photograph sharing destinations like Flickr, or person to person communication locales like Facebook. Your own image is the thing that will make you one of a kind. It's excessively important.
The most effective method to get paid for your photography in the following 30 days!
Best of all? A blog is anything but difficult to begin, simple to keep up, frequently less expensive than a devoted site, and increasingly compelling in getting deals!
Presently, before you beginning hustling off, we'll share a couple of missteps we've made on our blogging venture.
We met on online journals, and among us have had around 10 in the previous 5 years. We blog a LOT. What's more, we've committed a few errors that we don't need you to make.
One of those was having such a large number of online journals. We're constantly liable of that, yet are continually endeavoring to trim it down. It couldn't be any more obvious, when you have an excessive number of websites, you don't have enough vitality to put into every one, and they all end up being so-so. It's smarter to make them astonish blog, than three so-so writes. Just interpretation of as much as you can make great.
We've additionally been horrible about beginning a blog, making it go, and afterward fail to stay aware of posting. That is a simple method to frustrate perusers, as they get all amped up for what you are doing, and afterward you abandon them. We feel downright awful about this error.
We've made online journals without truly knowing the explanation behind it. When we do that, we end up having just a cloudy thought of who we're posting for, and end up with incohesive substance, and getting an entirely unexpected group of onlookers than we anticipated. This makes it mistaking for the writer, and the perusers, and simply troublesome all around. Go into your blog with a reasonable reason and result!
Lastly, we've overlooked the importantance of making an incentive in our web journals. We've recently presented on hotshot what we're doing, rather than truly attempting to make it a profitable affair for our perusers. It requires individuals investment to peruse your blog, so you need to set aside a few minutes well spent for them. Attempt to give them estimation or the like, regardless of whether it's through amusement, training, or motivation. You don't have to make every one of your posts this way, as likely a decent part of a photography blog is sharing your most recent work, portfolio style, yet ensure regardless you're dealing with your perusers with valuable substance!
So since you realize which slip-ups to stay away from, how about we examine some overly essential things to remember on your photography blogging venture.
Too Important Things To Keep In Mind On Your Photography
KNOW YOUR WHY
For what reason would you say you are beginning a blog? What's the reason? What's the result you're wanting to accomplish? Without knowing this, you will be directionless and all the time you spend blogging can truly add up to nothing.
Settling on your motivation directly off the bat will give you an unfathomable feeling of control. Whenever you have to settle on a choice about your blog, you'll basically think about your motivation and wanted result, and you'll realize what to do.
Pick YOUR AUDIENCE
When you've settled on your result, you have to figure out your identity blogging for. This is a stage that numerous picture takers miss. It's anything but difficult to overlook your identity composing for, and begin blogging for different shooters, your loved ones, or wedding websites.
So who are you truly blogging for? Is it for your loved ones, to keep them refreshed with how your photography is going? Or then again is it for your customers, to keep them aware of everything with your business?
This issues a LOT, so do it currently, regardless of whether you as of now have begun a blog. In case you're blogging for customers (which is commonly the situation on the off chance that you are an expert business), at that point you will dependably need to remember that, each and every time you post anything on your blog.
As an expert picture taker, you're basically blogging to get new customers. That is the thing that will mean more cash, and make the blog worth your valuable time. So you need to ensure you have all the data on your blog that will change over perusers into customers.
This is things like what city you are situated in, subtleties of what kind of photography administrations you offer, costs or value ranges, clear contact data, tributes of why you shake and an invitation to take action (ie. Book Your Session) are too critical to making this a beneficial undertaking.
re you can focus on the time it will take. It is important that you are predictable with your posts, yet additionally one of the hardest activities (we certainly have a lot of trouble with this one!).
Consistency demonstrates perusers that you are a functioning business/shooter. The most exceedingly awful thing you could do is begin a blog, and have your latest post be from months (or years!) prior. Be that as it may, it happens allllllll the time. That sends a negative message to any imminent customer that finds your blog!
Choose how frequently every week you are going to post. In the event that you are a full time shooter, two times every week is a decent sum. On the off chance that you are low maintenance or a specialist shooter needing to blog, one seven days is likely entirely feasible.
You can even choose which days of the week you'll post on, as that can truly help keep you on track!
TIE IN SOCIAL MEDIA
A blog is not quite the same as a Twitter record or Facebook page. They all assume distinctive jobs in your web-based social networking framework for your business. Be that as it may, they can bolster one another!
When you post another blog entry, try to Tweet about it. What's more, on your Facebook page, set it up so your blog entries are consequently imported.
Demonstrate YOUR BEST, NOT YOUR ALL
Your blog isn't a spot to demonstrate each and every photograph you've at any point taken. Rather, it's a spot to demonstrate your absolute best pictures from every session, or the absolute best of your portfolio.
On the off chance that you simply shoot your blog with bazillions of pictures, your crowd will get overpowered and exhausted. The careful number of pictures is totally up to you, candid wedding  photography you do.
Go for quality over amount. Keep in mind, this is fundamentally similar to a continually refreshed portfolio, so treat it that way! Customers will examine every one of those pictures when they are choosing to book you or not!
BE PERSONAL, BUT NOT TOO PERSONAL
It's an almost negligible difference between what is close to home, and what is excessively close to home. It's incredible to act naturally, and share your identity as an individual, however in the event that you begin once again sharing it can make your perusers awkward.
On the off chance that this is a business blog, you'll need to ponder the amount of your own life you need to impart to your perusers.
This is totally up to you, and unquestionably a hazy area, however remember it.
BE POSITIVE
Nobody needs to hear somebody whining on a business blog. It's a tremendous turn-off, and will straight up lose you customers.
Be sure, and you'll pull in individuals to you. That is for what reason you're blogging all things considered!
This all sounds incredible, and I realize you're getting siphoned, however you m

OH MY, WHAT’S THIS?
TW: mental health, therapy
Golly gosh, has she really gone and made yet another god damn blog? Yes. Yes she has.
Let me explain myself. I know this is probably like what, my tenth or eleventh online blog that I’ve made now? You would think that I would have a huge and dedicated reader base by the rate and ferocity I create these blogs with, but well, since I forget about every .tumblr.com and .wordpress.com after about a month or two, it comes to no surprise that these unattended digital corpse-pages don’t really have many readers. Should maybe give them a proper burial by hitting that delete button and letting them move on to the afterlife of 1′s and 0′s. But since I don’t even remember half the URLs I came up with, they’re probably just gonna keep peacefully existing in the graveyard that is the the forgotten blog section of the internet.
So. Why another one? Why add onto the pile of aesthetic yet virtually empty “personal” websites?
I’m just going to tell you what my therapist told me: “It seems like you have so many thoughts in your head, it probably feels like exploding.”
Don’t worry, I’m not saying that I’m Miss Big Juicy Brain and too smart for my own good – that’s not what my lovely therapist meant either. The reason she said that to me was because in our latest session, she had asked me to give her a quick rundown of what goes through my head whenever anything emotionally triggering happens to me. I had then proceeded to talk for twenty whole minutes (there go twenty whole bucks, thanks a lot, non-existing public mental healthcare system) about what happened in my old noggin whenever ~A Feeling~ occurred. And I described it in such excruciating detail that I think she stopped taking notes halfway through and just zoned out. Can’t blame ya, Kerstin, twenty minutes of incohesive rambling doesn’t really meet the expectation of a “quick rundown”. Sorry for that.
Anyway, we then proceeded to talk about overthinking, as we have done a million times before. And, as we have also done a million times before, we came to the conclusion that my inner monologue resembles a thirty-meter death-ride water slide, when it comes to the velocity and severity of how fast and far I tend to spiral with my own thoughts.
Now, don’t worry, by now I’ve been in therapy for long enough to know how to safely land back on the floor. However, I did agree with my therapist that my intense introspection does sometimes compromise me in my day to day life, as I will spend days on end in my own head rather than in the world that lies outside of it. That then usually leads to self-isolation and that, in return, leads to even more introspection. Hooray, to unhealthy processing mechanisms!
Alright, enough self-deprication. Basically, the conclusion I came to in that session, was that I’m pretty much the exact opposite of the “no thoughts, head empty” meme. For me, it’s more like “all thoughts, head explode”. And while I’ve been trying to get better at sharing face-to-face what’s going on in my head, I don’t always have the energy to text, call or meet friends and make my brain form words that my mouth then says out loud (which, I realize, is also known as talking).
I have made progress in that direction but ironically, these thought spirals tend to be the exact reason why I sometimes get into the bad mindset of thinking “Ugh, why even bother sharing? It’s already exhausting enough to just think it. Talking and explaining will be even harder.” And I know that that is not entirely true but listen, change comes in waves and you can’t battle all your inner demons at once. It is important to choose your battles accordingly to your strengths.
So, that is what I’m doing. I am choosing a battle by making a compromise. And making a blog.
God, how awfully millenial of me. What’s next? A TikTok account where I ironically document my panic attacks over the sounds of Jason Deulos’ ‘Savage Love’? (Hold on, just gonna note that idea down for later...)
Seriously, I realize that this has a certain bobo-esque, self-absorbed cringe vibe to it (did I really just say vibe, this is worse than I thought). However, I also care for and know myself well enough that I tend to downplay and ridicule the fact that I really do have a massive stick up my ass when it comes to talking about my emotions, my traumas and all those pesky, invasive thoughts. And that’s why Kerstin and me came up with the idea of me simply making a blog where I can dump all my thoughts whenever it feels like they are getting too much.
This is obviously not the first time that someone thought of jutting down what’s going through their head. I am self-aware enough to know that I didn’t invent the concept of writing about my life and inner turmoil. YouTubers and ex-Vine stars already did that before me, just look at the list of New York Times Bestselling Authors and you’ll see it for yourself. And if Gabbie Hannah can publish her own poetry book (never forget “Link ... in Bio”), I can damn well make another unknown blog where I share what seems to have gotten stuck somewhere on the way from my brain to my mouth.
Sorry, by the way, if nobody got those weird references. Whenever I’m not busy bashing my overthinking head against the metaphorical wall of fear of my sharing emotions, I spend most of my time watching drama channels explain why yet another book published by yet another unproportionally famous vlogger is yet again unsurprisingly shit. But that’s not the point of this first blog entry, so let’s let the money-hungry world of YouTubers performing figurative self-fellatio rest.
Bottom line: I need to get better at talking. To people other than my therapist, that is. Because frankly, if that poor woman has to listen to even more twenty minute rants of me dissecting my own broken psyche, she’s probably gonna quit her job and then I officially have no one left to chew through my issues with. And that would be quite unfortunate for everyone involved.
So, I want to practice. Try out the whole brain-to-mouth thing, but in a less confrontational way, by making it a brain-to-keyboard thing first. And not just that, I want to make an active effort in setting myself reminders that no matter how deep and lost I am in my own overthinking patterns, I can always put a stop to it and just spew it out onto virtual paper. To get it out of my system, manifest it into something more physical, read through it, recognize what’s lacking and what I need to change and lastly, editing it into something that makes more sense to me and also others.
In summary, this is kind of just me making my own “How To Talk About Emotions – For Dummies” guide. I expect no one to read all of what me and my sore yet hyperactive mind come up with, but I still gladly invite you to, should you care to see what that looks like. I apologize in advance though, I do tend to over-dramatize and under-estimate the way and amount I write about most things, including my own feelings.
But hey, maybe by writing this blog somewhat close to regularly, I’ll also figure out a way to talk about my emotions in a way that isn’t filled with unnecessarily smart-assy Big Dictionary Words and pop culture references barely anyone understands. Let’s hope for the best.
After it now took me exactly 1.291 words to explain what could have been explained in about two sentences, I’m finally gonna shut up. “Thank the Lord”, I hear you say. Or ... maybe that’s just my overthinker voice and fear of vulnerability that heard you say that? Kerstin would probably smile and nod proudly now. Gold star for me, yay. Just kidding, I never get any cool stickers for my achievements. Honestly, that whole therapy thing is way less fun than I thought it would be, I just want a stamp that says “Great job!” or “Super cool!” every now and then. Is that too much to ask? Okay, I think I see now what she meant when she said that I seem to secretly rely on the approval of others for personal successes so I can compensate the fact that I never give myself any credit for them.
Phew, that whole writing things down idea seems to already pay off. But okay, enough self-revelations for today. I have no idea how often I will actually write on here and even less of an idea what the topics will be. However, I will always include tags and trigger warnings, so that if there actually is someone who reads through it, they can know what each post is about.
So, yeah. That’s it for now. Brain-to-keyboard to you soon. (Get it, that’s my way of saying talk to you soon, because– okay, yeah, you got it. Right.)
P.S.: Yes, the name of the blog is a pun, let me live a little.

Music drought recommendations I – Soulful rap and Neo-soul
So, the past few weeks I’ve had a fair share of acquaintances and friends share with me, that they’ve been in a bit of a musical drought recently, especially with the whole lockdown scenario, where a lot of musicians postponed their upcoming projects. I’ve been asked things like “Do you have any song or album recommendations like x”, “What should I listen to that sounds like x” and “I’ve not heard anything new lately, can you help out with some music recommendations?”. Truth be told, I’ve been on somewhat of a drought by my standards as well, as I’ve been rediscovering projects from the early 2010s I forgot I had listened to and found a few really underground artists. I’m talking less than 5k listens on a lot of their music.
I’ve helped out all of my friends who asked me about it and I figured since there’s a fair chance a lot of people are going through a similar drought, I might as well write a few posts with which I can help out anyone who’s looking for some new shit to listen to.
Tumblr media
The first post I’m writing will be about albums or artists than have a laid-back, soulful sound – if you like new Tyler, Anderson. Paak or even some of Brockhampton’s music, then this will be a piece with music recommendations which you might enjoy. I’ll be looking at some more commercial albums and also some more low-key projects, so that you can have music to share with your friends, as well as songs to jam to on the low-low. Obviously I recommend the artists I’m sharing’s whole discographies, but these albums in particular might be the right vibe for your tastes.
Mac Miller – The Divine Feminine You can’t talk about Anderson. Paak and not mention his feature in Mac Miller’s Dang! In general the Divine Feminine in its majority is an incredibly soulful and groovy album, combining lyrical ability with romantic and sexy production. The project puts you through the whole array of love-related emotions and leaves you with a feeling of nostalgia of all of your previous romantic encounters.
Tumblr media
Arin Ray – Platinum Fire Arin Ray’s debut album combines modern R&B with elements of funk and deep sexy saxophones with which the artist paints a setting of a 60s blues piano bar, in which everyone can’t help themselves to not dance. The record at some points builds up and explodes with soulful energy before again fading out to a more lax, vintage-feeling blues sound.
Knxwledge – 1988 Knxlwedge has been one of the best producers in the past decade when it comes to using and twisting soulful samples to paint a picture of nostalgia. The tape has a very warm energy surrounding it with the producer’s signature smoothness defining it as a typical “Knxwledge project”. What differs this record from a lot of similarly produced ones is Knxwledge’s approach to the human voice – the way he twists and pitches it to create emotions with it.
Tumblr media
Childish Major – Dirt Road Diamond Not a debut record, but another debut studio album, Childish Major’s music combines hip-hop with jazz in a very somber manner. Exploring the topics of lost love, falling for the wrong people and intimate downfalls from the outwardly appearance of a very posh-looking guy, Childish crafts a very honest and self-reflective record, painting a vivid picture of falling down and getting up again.
BJ The Chicago Kid - 1123 BJ has turned into a bit of a virtuoso of mixing modern neo-soul and R&B with vintage soul and funk. Creating a very relaxed and unbothered vibe for all of his projects, what makes him so different is the way he uses his voice to create a feeling: nonchalant, but emotionally engaged; zoned out, but in his feelings; humble and welcoming, but demanding attention. In 1123 the singer shows that you need not do anything else than be yourself.
Tumblr media
Noname – Room 25 I’ve talked about this album in the past, but I think it’s always deserving of being talked about to be fair. Noname’s a poet first and a rapper second and you can hear that on Room 25 – surrounded and often overwhelmed by jazz and neo-soul samples, Noname talks about the challenges and experiences of being a modern woman, as well as being a modern black woman. Very heavily focusing on telling the story of her life, sometimes it feels like she’s rambling to a friend, bordering on the annoying, but never actually annoying you, rather making herself more human and relatable.
Klassik – QUIET The most unknown record from these recommendations Klassik created a very retrospective neo-soul record in which he reflects on all of his previous actions in his life so far. The record’s general vibe is that of a person trying to find inner peace and accept himself for who he is, he just wants it all to be QUIET for a moment. The album is reminiscent of those late nights, where you’re by yourself at home, listening to music and wondering why you are where you are.
Tumblr media
Duckwrth – IM UUGLY Always a bit of an oddball in LA’s contemporary hip-hop scene, Duckwrth created an album which was a very creative twist on conscious rap. The record seemingly feels very incohesive, but at the same time fitting together well. The concept of the album being looking at all your flaws and accepting them with a smile or even, fittingly, with humor, the production on IM UUGLY is a mixed bag of jazzy, poppy, soulful, funky and even more typical hip-hop beats. Duckwrth has a lot of fun on the record, whilst still telling a relatable story and never appearing as too preachy, although there is a noticeable lack of polish in some songs.
If you find yourself liking some of the recommended projects, I’d also give a listen to records such as Ari Lennox’s Shea Butter Baby, Kota the Friends’s FOTO, Smino’s Blkswn and Overdoz’s 2008. Hopefully with all of this in mind, you won’t be feeling the need to ask your friends for any music recommendations any time soon!

How this blog came about
To be completely honest, I am incredibly hesitant to even write this post. Even now, I am quite literally debating whether or not to erase this and change subjects. I have to consciously force my fingers to type these words. But I made a promise to post at least once per day, and I have not had the time or inspiration to churn out a bulk production of material as of yet. So, as the digits on my monitor tick steadily closer to the midnight deadline of a new calendar day, I find myself at a loss as to subject matter. A couple of hours ago, I toyed with the idea of casually letting just this one day slide. “I can make it up tomorrow by posting twice...”. But a promise is a promise and I made the promise of posting daily in order to better myself and in the hopes of making writing (something I have always been attracted to, and feel fairly capable of) into a habit. As I was simultaneously persuading and dissuading myself in regards to posting today, I found myself wanting for subject matter. Nothing seemed fun, inspiring, intriguing. So, I thought, maybe I should just provide a little background on myself and how I found myself in this situation.
The quick version (I promise I will post more on this and elaborate heavily in the future, think of this as an introduction) is that I absolutely hate to appear vulnerable, show weakness, or feel incapable. I also despise using any disability or setback as a crutch and an excuse to not be the best you can be, and to not accomplish what you want in life. The reality is that over the past 5 to 6 years I have felt an ever increasing presence of all those things which perturb me, as well as much other pain and hardship. You see, on my 33rd birthday, I was finally diagnosed (after several years of unknown and ever increasing physical ailments, and waning physical performance) with Late Stage Lyme Disease, which becomes known as Chronic Lyme Disease or Post Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome if the symptoms continue to persist one year or longer after antibiotic treatment.
Before becoming infected with borrelia burgdorferi, the bacteria which is responsible for Lyme Disease, I was carving out a career in the restaurant industry. I hesitate to say “I was a chef”, because that term is thrown around all too often and far too gratuitously. I got my first restaurant job at the age of 17 as a dishwasher, and moved my way up through the ranks (not at the same establishment, but through many different restaurants) to eventually be a lead cook. I attended and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu with a degree in Culinary Arts. I then worked at several other restaurants and held various positions, from Prep Cook to Sous Chef, and eventually opened my own food business. Notice, at no point have I even said I was a ‘Chef‘... yes, I held a couple of positions as Sous Chef, but, in case you are wondering, or perhaps do not know, CHEF is a position, a title, an earned demarcation which entails lots of blood, sweat and tears, and it denotes a certain element of respect within the restaurant community. So, yes, I have held a position as a chef, but I am not a chef. I unapologetically state, right here and now, that it is a personal pet peeve of mine when ‘Chef’ is thrown around willy-nilly. I know, many people do it because they think they are being respectful or polite, and some companies call all cooks ‘Chefs’ in order to.... well I don’t really know why, except maybe to make their company seem more prestigious than it really is? Perhaps this is a skewed and negative perception, perhaps it is the truth. At any rate, if you are someone who calls anyone in the professional kitchen ‘Chef’ please refrain from now on, as it is not as respectful as you perhaps intend, and likely makes you seems much less knowledgeable than you surely are. Don’t worry, there will be plenty more rants and raves about restaurant industry happenings in the future of this blog, so, if it is something you enjoy, stay tuned!
I digress, and to bring things back round to the crux, I was a career restaurant employee, and it is a highly demanding job, physically, mentally and temporally. To sum things up (as I said earlier, I will elaborate on everything in much more detail in upcoming posts), I ended up having to routinely quit new cooking jobs after only a few months, sometimes only a couple days weeks, of work. I became worried about my health, as it felt like I had the flu (minus the gastrointestinal issues) for nearly two whole years, and it had taken a toll on my physical, mental and emotional well being. It certainly didn’t do anything positive for my résumé either. I didn’t have health insurance, and was quickly finding it difficult to pay my bills. Finally things got to the point that I was unemployed and essentially bed ridden due to chronic fatigue and constant peripheral neuropathy - you know, that fun feeling of all your nerves and muscles constantly burning. I found this particular peculiarity highly intriguing, and it got me to researching possible diagnoses of my symptoms (self diagnosing is NEVER a good idea, just don’t do it... seriously, don’t... you’ll make things far worse than they really are) and set me on a quest to obtain consistent medical evaluation for the uninsured and broke. Eventually I came across a clinic which met these criteria, and I ended up telling my physician that I basically felt like I always had the flu, and that my muscles always burned. The best way I could describe this was being akin to when you are doing a heavy toning workout lifting weights, and you near the end of your final set, when your muscles literally feel like they are on fire and you push through those last, glorious few reps which make you feel so incredibly accomplished. It turns out, as a matter of fact, that there is a very specific biological reasoning to this highly descriptive feeling of this very specific symptom of Lyme Disease.
And so there were many schedulings of appointments at various places, I was insanely fortunate to get an absolutely incredible medical team who actually wanted to get to the root of my problems and figure this thing out. After three rounds of blood work, for a total of 10 vials of blood, and several months (all heavily laden with doctor’s appointments) of waiting for results, I got the diagnosis. It was a bittersweet discovery, on the one hand it felt great because now there was a course of action to combat a known enemy, on the other hand it was almost worse than not knowing, because so little is known on a clinical level regarding the treatment of Late Stage Lyme Disease.
You see, most Lyme Disease cases are diagnosed within 3-6 months of contraction. If this is the case, a short course of antibiotics and a small bit of follow up evaluation, and Bob’s your uncle, you’re back to your old self. If, however, you remain infected and undiagnosed for years rather than months, well, then the bacteria really wreak havoc on your body and play a little game of their own called “your symptoms are gonna go ahead and persist even after you kill us”. So, basically, even after diagnosis and treatment, I am still unable to function ‘normally’, as I used to. I am unable to work a ‘normal’ job like a ‘normal’ person. I can’t be relied on to show up for scheduled shifts or appointments with any sort or regularity due to my continuing symptoms. I had to figure out something to do with my life to give it purpose again.
Writing is something I have always enjoyed, it’s been something that I have always found a comfortable creative outlet, and it has steadily rode sidecar in my brain throughout my life; constantly, though gently, pushing me to dedicate myself to it in one way or another while my conscious brain made all sorts of excuses why I shouldn’t pursue it. After a bit of thought, and a few brainstorms of various writing avenues, I decided to start this blog. I like the idea of the freedom it offers. I don’t have to write about only one thing for any length of time or number of characters, which is ideal because I love learning and sharing knowledge about so many things. I don’t even have to stick to one style of writing, and can fill in posts with pictures and other media if fitting (or if I’m lazy!).
I thank you for bearing with me for this bit of a ramble. I usually am very disciplined about editing my work, I hate for anything to go out with errors. Today is an exception. As I finish writing this, my mind is clouded, I am about twice as tired and sore as I was an hour ago when I began this post, my forearms are burning and I find it increasingly difficult to keep track, keep course, and stay on topic in any sort of coherent and naturally flowing fashion. My vocabulary steadily declines, and my focus diminishes. I normally read through and re edit anything I write which meets another persons eyes with dogged determination so as to present my best possible work. I re-read through for continuity and flow, check for grammatical, syntactical and punctuation errors. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to proof reading an editing. But, as I said a bit ago, today is an exception as I feel the Lyme Disease winning this fight. I want to go on, to clarify points, to expand on particular events, it takes all my self restraint to NOT proof read and edit, but there will be plenty of time and opportunities for all of this later. I know this post is a bit of incohesive and semi- stream of consciousness writing. But thank you for reading, and, hopefully, not judging too harshly. Enjoy this rarity of unedited spew of speech placed in to text, for I am not going to read back through or edit this before posting. Hopefully I do not read it back tomorrow in a pool of regret, but c’est la vie, non?

Along these lines, you may as of now have a blog, or you may think about one. In any case, we should begin off by discussing the reasons why blogging is so vital for picture takers.
The Reasons Why Blogging Is So Important For Photographers
Photography is an administration, and an individual one at that. Your customers are giving you access to their lives, and confiding in you with some entirely defining moments. The more you can give them motivation wedding photography in Delhi great with employing you, the better.
A blog is an ideal apparatus for doing only that. It offers you the chance to demonstrate your identity, why you are a picture taker, and what esteem you can give to an imminent customer. Step by step instructions to get paid for your photography in the following 30 days!
Furthermore, obviously, it gives them a chance to see your most recent and most noteworthy work! Portfolio locales tend to get dormant, and numerous picture takers disregard to refresh them frequently. A blog guarantees that forthcoming customers are seeing your most up to date (and likely best) pictures. That guarantees that they know about your present shooting style, which likewise tends to develop!
Web journals are likewise preferable for SEO over portfolio locales, since they have visit updates and bunches of delicious substance (Google loooooooves scrumptious substance). A very much kept up and as often as possible refreshed blog can totally shoot up the inquiry rankings!
Another advantage is that web journals are an extremely incredible route for your customers to share the pictures you took of them! Individuals love seeing their very own photographs on their picture taker's blog, and will impart the connection to all their family and companions. Um… .hi marvelous verbal advertising!! Presently, before you beginning dashing off, we'll share a couple of missteps we've made on our blogging venture.
A Few Mistakes We've Made On Our Blogging Journey
We met on web journals, and among us have had around 10 in the previous 5 years. We blog a LOT. What's more, we've committed a few errors that we don't need you to make.
One of those was having an excessive number of online journals. We're constantly liable of that, yet are continually endeavoring to trim it down. It couldn't be any more obvious, when you have such a large number of online journals, you don't have enough vitality to put into every one, and they all end up being so-so. It's smarter to make them stun blog, than three so-so writes. Just interpretation of as much as you can make marvelous.
We've likewise been horrible about beginning a blog, making it go, and afterward fail to stay aware of posting. Best Candid Wedding Photography in Delhi frustrate perusers, as they get all amped up for what you are doing, and after that you abandon them. We feel downright awful about this error.
We've made websites without extremely knowing the explanation behind it. When we do that, we wind up having just a cloudy thought of who we're posting for, and end up with incohesive substance, and getting an entirely unexpected gathering of people than we anticipated.
