(Long Overdue) Studyblr Introduction

8th January 2024 (tumblr deleted my blog again. why do you make me suffer, dearest website? third time's the charm, i hope)

Hello everyone! I go by Zee on tumblr, and this is my studyblr account. I have gone by several URLs in the past three years, from mellowacademia to septemberstudies, and also somehow deleted my old account. Tragic.

So now I return to the community, hoping to keep old friends and make new ones!

Now, for my introduction: I’m a high school student from north India, and my fields of interest are animation, graphic design and architecture. As you could guess, I sketch every free moment I get. I’m also a writer and photography enthusiast. And I really, really like cats.

Over the next two years I will be studying English, physics, chemistry, mathematics and computer science.

Studyblr Intro!

Hello everyone! My name is Destiny. I’ve thought for a while that creating a blog would be a fun experience that I would like to try out. Plus the Studyblr community seems like a nice place to be. Anyway, I’ll tell you a little bit about myself now!

About me :)

I’m currently in high school

I’m learning Spanish but would love to learn French. Besides learning Spanish, if it counts for anything, I’m fluent in English.

I love to plan for the future, try and experience new things, help others, find the positive in unfortunate situations and most of all learn

I’m an enfj-a

Interests

I really enjoy reading - at the moment I’m reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Self-Reliance and Other Essays by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Plus a year long read of Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes. I also enjoy research articles

Film - tv shows I'm currently watching: Bob’s Burgers, The Clone Wars, and WandaVision

Music - classical and old rock n roll mostly

Philosophy - mainly logic, ethics, and aesthetics

Living - really enticing, dancing in the kitchen promotes this interest x20

in lectures with a lot of slides to cover, forget about summaries. it will take way too much time. instead use:

flashcards: for definitions of terms, examples, ‘test’ questions

notion toggle function (especially handy for question-based)

mind maps (to see connections between topics)

hii you, first of all thank u so much. it’s always v nice to hear that others enjoy my posts ✨🫶🏻

regarding tips. honestly, i started this blog during the pandemic as a ‘little hobby’ as i have always enjoyed taking photos and also the study-community (on tumblr specifically).

so to sum it up for u:

tip one: have a (good, sustainable) motivation to do it.

tip two: just start and see where it takes u, have fun, try things out, don’t overthink it.

hello, i assume u refering to the ‘white pen’ on my notes. it’s called tipp-ex. in case u don’t know what that is, it’s basically an white eraser for all kinds of pens etc.
