Maxxbomb #1 aka Maxxtendo Direct
Welcome the the first of what'll be hopefully many MAXXBOMBS. This is where I fit my unique content into a convenient package. Meet Kazari, The Reincarnation of Shadow Weaver
Tumblr media
Kazari is a special She-Ra OC I created, sort of out of spite, but I really love her, like my own baby, which is ironic because I'm never having kids. Kazari has the ability to control HAVOK MAGIC, a powerful form of magic, imagine HAMON from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure mixed with ONE FOR ALL from My Hero Academia. Kazari is ruthless, mischievous, a trickster and kind of a raging b****canoe when she wants to be, but ultimately with a heart of gold. Also, she's dating Finn.
Tumblr media
The two actually got together at Princess Prom. My friend, Luna actually designed her Prom Dress
Tumblr media
The story is currently incomplete, but you can ready it on AO3
Tumblr media
On the subject of She-Ra... I've actually made something really special for Catradora stans and Shadow Weaver Antis
Tumblr media
Here are the link to the AO3 -> LINK
Further more, I am writing a sequel, here is the plot synopsis -> "In the aftermath of a harrowing school shooting that rips through Etheria High, Police Chief Mara grapples with the daunting task of unraveling the enigmatic threads that bind together a web of online fandoms, veiled secrets, and the haunting repercussions that reverberate through the shattered lives of survivors. As the community struggles to come to terms with the devastating event, an unsettling online phenomena begins threatens corrupt and distort the city and all that Mara holds dear!"

Winx: Mystic Crusaders
I'm also writing a spin-off for Roxy. It's called Winx: Mystic Crusaders. Ever since the battle against the Wizards of the Black Circle, things have not been exactly easy for Roxy, as it turns out, going through what she'd been through is pretty traumatic. Things become complicated when the Winx go missing. Now, Roxy has set out to rescue them, but she can't do it alone, so now, she must gather up a team of fairies, witches and specialists to save to day and bring back peace. Together, they are the MYSTIC CRUSADERS. And here is the logo
Tumblr media
You can read this story, live on AO3 ->
While we're on the subject of Roxy. I've always made the case that Roxy was the Gohan of Winx Club
Tumblr media
To that end, I made a special transformation of Roxy... KIDEMIX
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kidemix, the culmination of Roxy's evolution, rises above the usual metamorphoses triggered by tasks or quests. It materializes as a manifestation of unparalleled pressure and trauma, akin to a dormant volcano violently erupting or a cornered, wounded creature lashing out in desperation. Unlike other transformations, Kidemix surges forth in direct response to the malevolence and injustices heaped upon the user and their cherished ones, channeling a primal force to confront and annihilate profound evil. It becomes a vivid representation of innocence irretrievably lost in the face of adversity.
To attain Kidemix, Earth Fairies follow a straightforward set of criteria:
Possessing a Pure Heart: Kidemix's essence lies in the unwavering purity of the fairy's heart, a prerequisite that distinguishes it from mere magical achievements.
Amassing a Colossal Quantity of Power: In stark contrast to conventional power-ups, Kidemix demands the accumulation of an extraordinary reservoir of energy. For Roxy, this involved acquiring Aquatix, a power source potentially 15 times more potent than the formidable Sirenix.
Experiencing an Intense Emotional Trigger: Kidemix awakens in response to an overwhelming surge of emotions, triggered by profound experiences. This emotional catalyst propels the fairy into a transformative state of power and resilience.
The abilities bestowed by Kidemix extend beyond a mere power boost; they push the user's capabilities beyond their logical conclusion. Roxy, as the Fairy of Animals, gains the extraordinary ability to adopt the traits of any creature in existence. Kidemix, in essence, propels the user's abilities to an unprecedented zenith.
Notably, the user's size increases to nearly double its original.
Just as Spider-Man possesses the formidable black suit, and Teen Gohan achieves Super Saiyan 2, Roxy's Kidemix stands as her ultimate transformation, showcasing her strength and resilience in the face of adversity.
Kidemix, however, is not a power easily harnessed. It carries a wild and savage essence, needing to be tamed and mastered. Like a tempest, it can be uncontrollable, requiring the user to forge a deep connection and understanding to guide its formidable power. But what about you? How would your OCs Kidemix work? Or the other Winx? Tell me using the #WinxKidemix. BTW, the art was done by Poison the Cat on IG

part one | part two | part four | part five | part six
author's note: sorry for the wait! i had a hard time getting a good flow with this chapter, and am not very satisfied with what i have here, unfortunately. i hope that for part 4 i will feel better about my writing, and that you all will as well
pairing: vegeta x fem!reader
warnings: canon-typical violence, ignore the canon timeline of events
Tumblr media
Vegeta's ears ring, sounding as if he'd gone underwater when he hears Bulma yelling for his attention. He doesn't look for her, still locked onto that deadly serious look in your eye that's piercing his soul. He sees your sadness deep inside, how crushed you are to have to tell him of his son's betrayal. He feels like his stomach has dropped out of his body and his skin pales, knees giving out underneath him and sending him to the ground. He blinks slowly and looks in the fire, swearing he can see the image of his young son in the flames; the picture flickers back and forth from the strong young man he'd idealized, and then a more grimy, hateful man that barely resembles his oldest child.
"No… It… Can't be." Vegeta closes his eyes, determined not to cry in front of Kakarot and Bulma. This isn't their business, and he's getting angry with the way Bulma's pushing and prodding at him for answers. Her voice, shrieking and irritating, demanding things left and right without a care for what he's gone through since you came back into his life, strikes a particular nerve and his head throbs with every syllable she screeches.
"Vegeta!" She yells from the helicopter, luckily unable to land in the forest, else she'd be even closer to his migraine. "You scumbag, you haven't told me a damn thing! First you're married and now you have a-"
"Shut UP!"
Vegeta's eyes widen when he hears your voice. Your tails whips angrily and you've clenched your fists tightly, flying right up into Bulma's face. His hands grip into his sides, his stomach threatening to empty out the moment he tries following you to place himself in front of her. "No… Don't… Don't hurt her!"
You ignore Vegeta's weak plea, looking the woman that's stolen your husband directly in her eyes. "If you shriek one more time, I'll kill you." You growl.
A small hand slips into yours, and you nearly snap your neck when you feel it, seeing Gohan's concerned face looking up at you. Immediately you're subdued, having a soft spot for that young boy, your face falling; you've stepped out of line now.  You allow him to lead you away from Bulma, from the scene entirely, despite your rage and desire to be close to Vegeta.
Bulma's eyes are wide, her heart racing and veins ice-cold from your threat. You'd seemed so kind before your memories returned; and now, you've become a savage. She eyes Vegeta, noticing the haunted look in his eye as he stares down the fire. He hadn't budged a bit, not even after you threatened her life.
"I… Think you should take Chi-Chi and Trunks home." Goku says carefully.
"Are you kidding me?! How do you expect me to-!"
"Bulma!" Chi-Chi snaps. "Let's go. Goku, don't let her run off again. Bring her home."
Goku nods at his wife's order, following the direction you and Gohan left in. Bulma glares at her friend, but Chi-Chi doesn't back down to her. "It's not all about you, Bulma. Let's go."
Bulma huffs and turns the copter to go back to Capsule Corp, leaving Vegeta alone by that stream. The prince gazes into the fire again, seeing the image of the bastard that nearly killed you (His son!! How in the hell did it come to this?!) and he feels a fresh sheen of sweat on his face right before he loses the control on his stomach and vomits, coughing and spluttering once there's nothing left. The ground is cool and damp when he falls back onto it; all he can hear is the flow of water and the crackle of the fire before it all goes dark.
Tumblr media
Gohan's led you to a cliff, sitting beside you in comfortable silence. "My acceptance letter came in the mail."
You turn to look at him, the only light you've got in your life. "Yeah? Good; I'm proud of you, hon."
His smile lights your own eyes up. "You'll keep helping me study, right?"
"You'll keep your training up?" You smile gently at the boy. He's got the sweetness your son used to harbor, but you know his human side makes him pure, unlike your full-blooded Saiyan son.
"Deal!" Gohan throws his arms around you, and you hug him tightly. You feel tears building and you pull Gohan just a tad closer to you, thankful he's allowing the bruising hug.
"It's gonna be okay." Gohan whispers before Goku lands nearby. He kneels on your other side and gently puts his large, warm hand on your shoulder.
"Hey there." He smiles so, so softly at you. "Been a few days. Let's go home."
You blink. "I…?"
"Always."
You look back in the direction you and Gohan had come from. You feel your husband's power level, though it's muted. He's likely unconscious, never being able to take shock very well. Where you would grow angry or remain calm, he'd faint. The wind chills the tips of your ears and a shiver tears through you, making a mockery of your thin jeans and tank top, hot-blooded Saiyan be damned against the cold air.
"Alright, Kakarot."
Goku scrunches his nose. "Aww, now that you remember stuff, are you gonna call me that now?" His lips push out into a pout, and you can't help but laugh at the pitiful look on his face.
"It is your name." You hum, buzzing your lips thoughtfully. "But… if you prefer Goku-"
"I do! Very much!"
You nod, carefully gripping his gi. "Let's go home."
"I thought you'd never ask!" Goku picks up Gohan, tossing him atop his shoulder and grinning at the boy's laugh, pressing his calloused fingers to his forehead.
Warmth is the first thing you feel, and the first thing you hear is Chi-Chi. Your chest rumbles with your laughter, which only serves to make her angrier, but simply hugging her calms the energy. "I know." You murmur into her dark hair. Her arms around you are tighter than you expected, and her strength impresses you.
"Go shower; you smell like Vegeta." She mumbles, delicate hands settling on your waist for a brief moment as she pulls back.
Fighting back the urge to smirk (he's your mate, dammit) you simply do as she says. Your thoughts travel to your son, remembering his rage and intent to kill. Ever since you found out Vegeta had been alive the entire time… V had changed. Your son had warped into a resentful, vengeful Saiyan. You'd lost count the amount of times he'd accused you of lying to him, or hiding him from his father. It was all nonsensical dribble, but V believed every word- and having no idea where it had come from, you still gave him the truthful answers you'd given him since he was young; but it wasn't enough for him.
You'd fought your son several times in the last two years, but this was the closest he'd gotten to killing you. It was as if his control was slipping each time; even with the power boost after your near-death experience, you'd have to train hard to be strong enough to only subdue.
Only subdue.
I can't kill him… He's all I've got left.
"Is this all you've got, Mother?!" V screams at you, a spitting image of Vegeta's rage.
You swipe your thumb over your lip, finding blood on it that you're not entirely sure came from your lip. Each strike of V's is true, the bruises and cuts on your face all the proof needed. You've trained him well; too well.
"I suppose time-out isn't going to work anymore."
"I'm not a child!" He roars, flying at you with the intensity of an explosion behind the fist you suddenly find against your stomach. The air leaves your lungs, the feeling of something rupturing inside. You cough, a splatter of blood from your bitten cheek staining his shirt. V backs away, leaving you to drop to your knees, cradling your stomach as your empty lungs beg for air, burning harshly with the first breath you can take.
"V… " Your eyes land on the pod you'd stolen, crushed and sporting a massive hole from the charged attack your son launched at you. You don't know what planet you're on or where you're close to, but if you don't find a way to get out soon… You're as good as dead.
"It didn't have to be this way, Mother." His footsteps crunch on the solid ground, approaching you with his hand glowing yellow.
"It still doesn't have to." You growl, eyes flicking from V's boots to the pod he arrived in. "We can find your father together, V."
"We could've done that a long time ago, Mother! But you lied to me!"
Summoning the little strength that remains, you move your body right as his blast singes the ground, kicking his feet from under him and unleashing a flurry of punches to his face. Your heart's in a vice, beating in your only child's face like this. You just need to keep him down long enough to get away…
A final punch across his skull results in your son's loss of consciousness. Without preamble, you scramble to the pod to get the hell off this planet. You have no destination; as far away as you can get from V is the only specific you've got in mind.
I've got to find Vegeta…
There's an explosion after a handful of hours, and the next thing you know, you're staring at a face you've never seen before.
Tumblr media
It's well past midnight when Vegeta makes it back to Capsule Corps. Carefully trudging through to not wake anyone, Vegeta strips the second he's in the bathroom for a scorching shower. His body is covered in dirt and sweat, not to mention he smells like fish from the stream… Though no matter how intensely he scrubs his skin, despite how red and raw he's made it, he cannot make the feeling of dirt vanish.
He feels like a two-timing son of a bitch. To both you and Bulma. He was content with his involvement with her, whatever it was, living together and raising their child… Something he missed out on with his firstborn. And that was another matter entirely; he hadn't even thought to tell her about his previous life. How could he? His heart, forever wounded by the loss and tortured by each and every what-if couldn't possibly take retelling the tragedy. He held no shame for you, had no intentions on keeping secrets from Bulma…
Vegeta's head spins and he has to brace himself on the wall, lest he slip and wake up Bulma. She no doubt has room to be angry and feel betrayed, but good lord he can't take any yelling right now. Vegeta's mating scar burns, ripping a hiss from his tongue as he clutches onto it. His primal body yearns, begs for reunification with his mate. With you, his first love, wife, mate…
Mother of his child.
Vegeta presses the heels of his hands into his eyes, seeing stars in the blackness. What in the hell had happened for his son to nearly kill you? Though supposing he can't be a character witness for the boy, having last seen him as a baby who'd been out of his incubator for only a short time… It's possible his son was just…
No. A son of mine would never be like that on his own.
And speaking of a son, he can hear the cries of his baby boy even with the noises of the water surrounding him. Vegeta suppresses a sigh and is quick out of the shower, hair dripping onto his shoulders while he shoves on a pair of sweatpants and carefully goes to tend to Trunks. Naturally, though, Bulma's already beat him there and has the baby in her arms, calmly shushing him through his wails.
Her eyes cross with Vegeta's for a split second, and a groan forms at the back of Vegeta's throat. She's hurt, no doubt by the secrets; and your threat on her life wasn't exactly helpful. "Bulma…" He begins carefully.
"Not right now." She murmurs sadly, bouncing Trunks into softer cries.
He steps closer to her, impossibly close but not touching. "Give me the boy, and get yourself some more rest."
Her cerulean eyes widen and she meets his, finding sincerity in them. She was surprised to even see him back here at all, knowing his affinity for running away all the time. And the possibility that he was just here for amenities she provides, which could still be the case, is lessened. "You…"
"He's my son." Vegeta mumbles finally, breaking eye contact with her to look at his little boy. His fingers twitch, too eager to hold him and cherish the moments he has available to him. "I want to hold my son."
Bulma pauses for a beat, gazing down at the young baby. Trunks has stopped his tears, staring openly at Vegeta with wonder and smiles at him, one of those chunky hands reaching out. Vegeta slips his hands around the baby and pulls him away from Bulma, holding him close to himself and sitting in the rocking chair, already working on lulling the boy to sleep.
"Get some rest, Bulma. I won't tell you a third time."
Her exhaustion outweighs her stubbornness and with light feet, she's out the door and comfortably back into her bed. Despite the odds of waking up alone, she fluffs the pillow on the left side and saves half of the blankets.
Vegeta stares outside for a while, rocking the chair and holding Trunks to his warm chest. "Trunks. I know you are young and won't remember this. You won't remember the way I treated your mother, or how I left you as a bastard for a time. You will never know how sorry I am… Or how grateful I feel to get the chance to be a father to you. Truth be told, I didn't plan for you to exist. I have a son from years past that I do not know. I don't even know what he looks like; the last time I saw him, he was around your age."
Trunks coos, blinking slowly and nuzzling Vegeta's bared chest. Vegeta finally looks down at him, swiping a hand over the purple bits of peach fuzz he's growing atop his head. "I have made a vow to myself to be present for you. I now make that same vow to you, my second son. I will be here for you; I will raise you as a strong warrior, and a good man. You will be better than me, I'll make sure of it. That's what children do; they surpass their parents. You will be no different. And so help me, if you try to kill your mother someday…" Vegeta pauses. His eyes are watery, he finds, as he blinks and feels the tears on his cheeks. "I will have failed yet another child, and you do not want to see what happens then. Be good, and be strong. That is all I ask of you, Trunks."
V, I will find you. And you will not be ready.
Tumblr media
When you wake, it's dark out. Your scar burns, but you ignore it in favor of getting up and dressing for a day of training; the best you can do is a t-shirt and leggings, unfortunately, as your Frieza Force armor was entirely destroyed beyond use and even recognition by V's assault.
"And where are you going?" Chi-Chi's in the kitchen checking the ribs in the slow-cooker when you pass through, and you sigh to yourself.
It's like my mother's alive.
"Just to train."
"For?" She narrows her eyes suspiciously.
"To fight my son again."
"You nearly died, but you want to fight again?" Chi-Chi shakes her head; you damn Saiyans give her headaches.
"My pride as a Saiyan won't allow me to run and hide. And as his mother, it's on me to put him in his place. I have to become stronger to do that without killing him. He, for some damn reason, thinks I've lied to him his entire life. Like if I didn't know my husband was alive, I wouldn't have scoured every planet, every star and rock until I found him again. It's nonsense, but I haven't been able to convince him otherwise."
Chi-Chi sighs. "You'll need a good training partner then."
"Would you mind allowing Goku to train with me?"
"Can you wear him out enough so he'll be too tired to eat as much for a change?"
Laughing, your shoulders shrug while you rub the back of your neck. "I can try, but that's kinda asking a lot, don't you think?"
"A woman can dream." Chi-Chi sighs wistfully, setting the top back onto the slow cooker and washing her hands. "He won't be up for a while longer, so you'll have to settle for me instead."
"Oh?" You perk a brow, a smile forming on your lips. "You're a fighter?"
"How do you think I handle Goku?" She teases back and leads you outside, tying her hair up in a quick, messy bun. The air out is crisp and the grass is wet with dew, a few stars still twinkling in the sky as the Earth makes its way to the sun.
Your stretches are done in mostly silence, various bones snapping and popping from each of your bodies. You sigh to yourself; twenty years old was farther away than you wanted to admit. Chi-Chi seems to be on a similar train of thought, as her brow twitches in a manner you've never quite seen before. But she looks pissed now, and if that gives you a good warmup, so be it.
A quick bow and a pause later, Chi-Chi's testing your speed with her rush down maneuvers, her hands flying and advancing on you in impressive fashion. "I… Actually have to focus." You growl, your hands meeting every strike of hers and deflecting them from your body.
"You didn't think I'd go easy on you, did you?"
"I was hoping not." You grin and go on the offensive, pushing Chi-Chi back and switching into swift kicks she can barely keep her eyes on. She stumbles back, soon pinned under your knee.
"I'm more rusty than I thought…" She accepts your offered hand, brushing the grass from her pants while you ready into a new stance.
Chi-Chi spars with you for the better part of an hour, to her credit. You're relentless, your Saiyan appetite something she's surely used to with Goku. You bounce from side to side, rolling your neck and shoulders out, a big, satisfied grin on your face. "Man, this is fun! Think you can go faster?"
Chi-Chi huffs, clutching her side. If she were ever worried about her weight, a few mornings with you would set things straight. "Absolutely not. I'm… Going to make breakfast."
"Aww… Okay. Eggs?"
"Sure, sure…" Chi-Chi slowly moves into the house, leaving you by your lonely. With a little sigh you sit on the grass to meditate as the sun rises. A calm breath soothes the eagerness for Goku to wake up and start the real training, your mind oddly quiet despite the things you've been through lately.
Training always has been the best way to clear a Saiyans mind.
You wipe the sweat from your brow, the dust from your surroundings clearing. You and Vegeta have both been tense; the mating season has just come to pass and you were yet to be with child. It's disappointing to the King to hear, but not any more than Vegeta's anger at the situation. He stands from his position, blue fabric of his standard issue armor torn in various places. "Are you done?"
"Am I dead?" You snark, pulling yourself off your knees and launching a hefty energy beam at him. Your husband dodges, though not without more of his suit burning up.
"Point taken." He snarls and flies at you with a fierce kick, your arm coming to block as your poor bones ache at the contact. His other leg kicks out at you and sends you off your balance and into the ground. You've come to the less developed portion of Planet Vegeta, the area more commonly used for training the military recruits. It's largely rock and clay, the reddened dust everywhere. You and your husband are cloaked in it, the dust practically becoming a second skin after the several hours you've trained.
Vegeta falls on top of you, his arms only barely catching the full force of his weight. He coughs at the dust in his lungs, his exposed shoulder and one of his legs covered in it. "This is unbecoming of royalty." He groans.
You sigh and spread your limbs out, resigned. But the training was effective; the failures of your bodies are far from your mind. "Why did we come out here… Filthy training grounds…"
"I have no idea." Vegeta mutters into the breast of your armor.
"Let's go home."
Vegeta's up at your soft command, picking you up in a gentle bridal carry to fly you back home. He's not affectionate out in public; his love is no doubt strong and unbreakable, as your bonded mate. But he doesn't enjoy others seeing him so soft for you, lest they get the wrong idea and assume weakness of him. But he holds you close to his body as he flies home, even once you've reached the castle courtyard, he continues carrying you. Servants, guards and even high-ranking officers are around to see Vegeta carrying you.
"'Geta-"
"Hush, princess."
You close your eyes and just let it happen, your feet hitting the floor once he's reached your bedchambers. A servant quickly draws a bath and Vegeta holds your hand when you step into the large tub, ensuring you're down safely before climbing in himself.
Your husband waves off the servants, leaving the two of you alone in your bath. His rippling, filthy muscles flex while he pours a small basin of water over himself. His dark hair falls to his shoulders, the look rather striking despite the oddity of seeing it. He gazes at you through his lashes. "You like what you see?"
"If I do?" Soapy water falls from your body with each pass of the cloth. "What'll you do about it?"
"Not a damn thing. Continue eye-fucking me at your leisure." He smirks and washes himself, his legs opening up as you wade through the suds and into his personal bubble. He follows your lips after an attempt to steal one from him, kissing you with the passion he always keeps close to his chest.
"Did you enjoy training today?"
"I always enjoy training with you. I regret we haven't kept up the old routine we used to have." Vegeta murmurs. Once your marriage was settled and you began trying to conceive, you were practically banned from any meaningful training. And it being all for naught so far was an added kick to the ribs.
"I do feel rejuvenated. Perhaps… We go back to it."
Vegeta's dark eyes meet with yours, contemplating the suggestion. The water around you is cooling, your fingers and toes pruned as you step out of the bath. Vegeta silently follows your lead to then drape one of your many robes over your shoulders. His hands linger in the close space between you, roaming over your arms. They've lost quite a bit of muscle, regrettably.
"I expect you to gain your form back." He murmurs. "You've gotten too thin for a warrior."
"Oh, I'll show you form." You grin mischievously, pushing him to the bed and pouncing.
You laugh softly at the memory. Sure enough you'd gotten your warrior body back proper, and the stresses of getting pregnant were less present on your mind as a result of the training; and as fate would have it, you'd fallen pregnant the very next mating season. Vegeta theorized your body knew how strong a child between the two of you would be, and refused a pregnancy until you'd returned to peak strength.
"Don't tell me you're tired!" Goku's voice is cheerful and you fly to your feet, hands glowing yellow.
"Why don't you come test that theory?"
Goku's eyes shine, a slow smirk spreading on those lips as he takes his stance, bent over with one hand curled before him and the other raised above his head. "I hope you know what you're in for!"
Tumblr media
Vegeta comes to in the rocking chair, Trunks long gone from his arms as the sun pierces the sky. He only panics a brief moment before his logical side catches up; Bulma's no doubt awake and with the baby.
He finds Bulma in the kitchen with Trunks, feeding him a spoonful of mashed carrots and failing to keep the boy's face clean, despite her best efforts. Trunks cheers at the sight of his father and subsequently knocks the baby food from his mother's hand; the glass shatters into a trillion little pieces, orange mush splattering any nearby surfaces.
"Eh?" Trunks follows the sound, looking over the side of his high chair. Bulma braces her head on the tray of the chair, her hair a wild mess and her pajamas wrinkled and covered in baby food Trunks had spat out.
Vegeta's chest fills, a terrible feeling lingering. What does he do about this? He's mated, connected to you through an invisible thread that cannot be severed. And how he's missed you, dreamt of you for years on end… Loves you still, with everything in his heart. You are his wife. His everything. His past, his lover, his best friend.
What does he do?? A lesser man would cast Bulma aside, and had this situation happened even just a year ago, he'd be that lesser man in an instant. She was only ever intended to be a one-time thing; he'd hit a moment of weakness, and her strong, abrasive personality caught him at just the right time.
She's perfect for any Saiyan male; it's not difficult to see how any of this happened. Bulma cared for Vegeta when everyone else wanted him dead. Food, a home, clothes on his back, her first child and her heart. She's given so much to him.
He is not worthy of either your love or Bulma's.
"I'll clean up." He murmurs, casting his gaze away from his second family and retrieving a new jar of baby food before the broom and dustpan.
Bulma's eyes shine with tears as she takes the jar from him; Vegeta opts to clean the glass up, rather than try to find any words for her. She sniffles and resumes feeding the baby, but finally finds her voice.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"They were dead." He murmurs.
"Well they're not. She threatened to kill me, Vegeta!"
Vegeta's eye twitches at her quickly souring tone, his temples already hurting. "And she didn't."
Bulma's jaw clenches. "I notice you didn't do anything about it; you left an eleven-year old to keep a savage bitch from-"
"Do not talk about her that way!" Vegeta seethes with pure rage in his eyes, throwing down the broom. His hair flicks gold once despite being able to control his Super Saiyan transformation. "That is my wife and she's been through a lot; a lot I wasn't there for! My son beat her so badly she lost her memories for months. You'll be just fine with a mere threat and not even a scratch to show for it."
"So you are going to leave! As if me and Trunks aren't your family too!"
"Leave Trunks out of this. Now is not the time for you to worry about relationships, if that is what you even call this. Not when V is out there, completely getting away with what he's done to his own mother. If you don't care about what I have on my plate then don't, but you will not sit there and spout nonsense. Do you understand me, Bulma?"
Bulma scowls, her eyes just as angry as Vegeta's. "Fine."
Vegeta hastily cleans the rest of the baby food mess and storms to get dressed; he can't afford to waste anymore time. He needs to find you and discuss a plan; he'll be damned if he lets V get away with this. You're capable of Super Saiyan, yet V still bested you; you'll need to train harder to kill him. You've bested Vegeta in the past, so he's not foolish enough to think his son will be easily beaten. He himself will train with you and become stronger together to face something more challenging than Frieza.
He's going to have to kill his own child.

"Where are we?" You look around to find only blue skies and the platform you stand on.
"The Lookout!" Goku grins. "Chi-Chi can't find us here…" He looks around regardless, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. The last thing you saw before being brought here was a hole in the side of the house, courtesy of Goku himself.
"Hmm…" The hairs at the back of your neck prickle, and in an instant you've turned on your heel and fired off an attack you created with your husband; your hand is held out, thumb tucked in with a quick yet large burst of yellow energy.
"Woah!" Goku steps back. You're incredibly trigger-happy; Piccolo just barely dodged your great attack.
"Another Saiyan?" The Namekian grumbles, picking his weighted turban up from the ground and placing it back on.
"A very prideful one, Namekian, that doesn't appreciate your tone." You growl, eyes trained hard on the stranger, settling only with Goku's gentle touch to your shoulder.
Goku laughs nervously, hand coming to the back of his head as his cheeks flush with embarrassment. "Sorry, Piccolo! She's, ah, a little on edge. We're here to train in the chamber!"
"Hm." Piccolo's eyes harden. A strange Saiyan from nowhere, here with Goku's trust? Reluctantly, he crosses his arms and drops his suspicion. "What's the occasion?"
"I need to get stronger, so I can knock my son down a few pegs." You cross your arms. The thought of facing V, of going to him with the intention to harm him makes your stomach churn. But staying on Earth isn't an option; V must face his comeuppance.
"S-So I was hoping you'd help?" Goku grins at his friend. "Gohan got into college, by the way!"
The Namekian's barely-there smile surprises you. "Good. The one he wanted?"
"Yes." You confirm with a nod. "He's also promised me he'll keep up his training."
Piccolo stares for a beat, presumably finalizing his opinion of you with a nod. Goku sighs in relief and steps to the direction of the chamber, Piccolo following along. "I assume Goku has told you about the chamber."
"One day outside is an entire year inside." You confirm. The door looms over you with every step, your heart determined to come out of this chamber with the strength to surpass your son. The anxiety of the inevitable pushes through your veins similar to the feeling of being dropped into ice water, your heart pumping erratically with every step.
The hairs at the back of your neck prickle, Goku and Piccolo clearly having a similar indication. Your focus remains on the door, your hand even touching the handle, as you hear a pair of boots touch the ground.
"If anyone's going into that chamber with her, it'll be me, Kakarot."
Piccolo eyes Vegeta carefully; something about him has changed. This isn't an argument of his strength versus Goku's, for once. His eyes are locked solely on you, a Saiyan that as far as Piccolo knows, came from thin air. And if anyone would know another Saiyan, it'd be none other than the Prince.
"Go home to your wife and son, Vegeta." You hiss out, and open the door. Vegeta flies in between you and Goku, ensuring the door is slammed shut before Goku could even think about stepping inside.
You take in the surroundings of the room, an endless sea of white around the small rest area near the door. One year in this room.
With Vegeta.

Every Side of Gohan
A Reflection on the Effects of a Child Soldier
In the future, his future, Trunks knew Gohan. Gohan is hardened, with a carefully controlled anger. He’s marred, a missing arm, a scarred face. He’s in pieces, and now he’s gone.
This Gohan is wrong, incorrect in every sense of the word. He has the hidden anger, the unseen scars of his future counterpart, but he’s much more whole. This one carries himself with a childish demeanor, though his knowledge and maturity is far beyond his mere nine years. He’s happy in places the other could never dream of, surrounded by love and arms that should be long lost.
His mother will get to finish raising him, a younger brother to accompany them soon. Piccolo will still hold him in secret when he can do nothing but cry. That’s another thing – this Gohan is granted the comfort of grief. He has the time and space to mourn, to cry, to hurt. Nothing has to be hidden anymore.
Each version of Gohan shared a childhood none other should experience. When Cell finally falls, discolored blood stains those small hands. This is the fourth near-death experience he has suffered. Both Gohans know the trauma of battle and watching every man they have ever looked up to die protecting them. This Gohan’s eyes are equally as haunted. They shine with fear and the horror of having taken another life.
One thing has not changed. Gohan does not like combat. He is a pacifist, more so than his ever-forgiving father. Killing brings a sickening feeling to his stomach, and when the Cell Games have blown over, only Trunks and Chi-Chi know that he has spent every night since emptying the contents of his stomach until morning lights the tile of the bathroom. His Gohan did the same, as much as he tried to hide it.
When Trunks returns to his timeline, he never stops thinking of Gohan – both his mentor and the child he had grown so fond of. As his sword strikes down the Androids who brought civilization to near extinction, he feels peace wash over him for the first time in his life. Their death does not bring Gohan back, but his memory lives on deep within him.
Just as he did every night, Gohan lay soundlessly in his bed. Goten has migrated from his own bed to find himself tangled in the sheets of his brother’s. A small foot is pressed to Gohan’s lower back, and it is a small comfort. It’s a reminder to breathe, to know he was safe at home.
His heart had stopped for a moment in the night, an unfortunately common occurrence for him. Nights like these he is haunted by the ghosts of his past. The mucusy blood of Cell coats his small and callused hands, and a broken arm falls to his left.
Trunks had told him about the alternate future version of himself once. Just once, that was all he needed to hear of it. The counterpart who fought androids and lost his left arm. Sometimes this Gohan is the one killing Cell, and he wakes up desperately reaching for the appendage to make sure it’s still there – that it was truly healed.
His variety of nightmares set out to relive the great tragedy of his life.
Some nights, he’s buried in rock, Vegeta’s foot breaking his ribcage. His lungs are going to be punctured any second now, and all he can think of is how they’ll tell his mother. Will they bring back his limp body to Chi-Chi? Will she know where they’ve buried her son, or will she even live long enough to grieve her darling boy? The thought of making his mother cry as she did when his father passed causes a nausea to coil in his stomach. But the thought of seeing his mother dead made the bile begin to rise dangerously close to his mouth.
It’s Vegeta’s final blow, a hard kick to the chest, that makes Gohan’s heart stop beating. That miniscule scare, a few skipped beats, but enough for his adrenalin to pump through his head and his mind to wake him up to a frozen, numb body.
His movement will return in time, like it always does, and then he can sit with his face pressed against a cold ceramic bowl and release the bile still hiding in his throat. He’ll do it quietly, to keep Goten from waking up in the other room. His little brother, who sees Gohan as the hero he never was, cannot know how broken he truly is.
Because those are the dreams that bother him on other nights. He sees the two men he looked up to most in his miniscule life dead on the floor before him. He can’t let Goten see him that same way.
Frieza aims a powerful laser in his direction. He accepts his fate, for just a moment, hoping that maybe this release would bring him a sweet peace, but then the beam is hurtling towards him. He brings up pathetically small arms to shield his face, anticipating the pain. He knows it should only hurt for a moment, so long as Frieza does it right.
But it never hits. Piccolo is in front of him, taking the beam straight through the abdomen, and telling Gohan to, “Run. Anywhere, I don’t care. Just leave and be safe.”
His words echo through Gohan’s head as he processes the scene before him. Piccolo’s body falls backward at his feet. Glossy, white eyes greet him, and the bleeding isn’t stopping anytime soon. For Kami’s sake, there’s a gaping wound in his chest, and for all the things his mother has made him study, he never learned how to keep a man from dying. All he can do is hold back tears because Piccolo always chastised him for crying.
“Don’t grieve me, Gohan. Just fight for me, okay?”
The final words from his master are gentle, and suddenly he’s staring at his dying father.
Piccolo has moved to the other side of the field, and he’s breathing raggedly, power still radiating off of his green skin after putting a powerful beam through the chests of both Raditz and Goku.
Gohan doesn’t even have the time to be horrified by his father’s blood soaking his little cloth shoes before his ki surges through him, and the world has gone black. He’s brought back to life by Goten mumbling something about the biggest fish he had ever seen. The young half-saiyan is still asleep, his face pressed into his brother’s chest.
His favorite nights are when there is no dream, just silence, a simple blink and he’s back to the waking world. It’s as close to peace he’ll ever find, and eventually, after enrolling in high school, the nightmares fade a bit. They are not gone; they will likely always remain, but now he dreams of good things, too.
Videl takes him on dates. She holds him after a tough battle, and soothes his aching wounds. Goten drags him out to meadows in search of a butterfly he’s been chasing all week. Their bright smiles stop the world in its tracks. It is a small thing, but a great comfort he has not seen in years.
He will never be the Gohan he was so long ago, the young child eager to learn yet scared of the world around him. But sometimes, in those good dreams, he is him again. He is held in his father’s warm arms, still so full of youthful vigor. His mother fusses over the dirt on their boots, forbidding them from entering the house until their feet are bare.
The world is filtered in the soft orange of the sunrise. He can see the spatter of freckles across Goku’s face and the loose threads of his worn gi. He feels his chest rise and fall with laughter, his hand rub Gohan’s back soothingly, and the weight of the dragon ball on his hat. Chi-Chi smiles, in that way she only can when her husband is nearby.
Gohan has memorized the scene, playing it through his head on his hard days. This Gohan is gone, but he is just as much him as Trunks’ Gohan was. They are extensions of one person, lives lived under his name. Each of these Gohans lived this moment. They have been held in their father’s embrace, studied under their mother’s steady hand. They were each born and raised under a dead man’s name, but a dead man who meant the world to his father.
And the best dream he has had the chance to live is when those Gohans can all meet. He holds his younger self, laughs with his future counterpart, and carries the large basket Grandpa Gohan once kept. They comfort one another in a way no other can. Because this is an experience only Gohan can have.
This is a dream to tell him: It will all be okay. You have lived. You have learned. You have loved. And you will continue on, for all of them. The sunrise waits for you on the other side.

i just read your future gohan fic and it made me feel horrible both emotionally (as one does about him) and physically. your character writing is great and you absolutely nailed gohan's inner monologue and how he works. however im very curious as to how this 17/gohan thing occured to you, and why you decided to explore that? it took me by surprise and i even considered stopping reading (im glad i didn't tho) at first. future gohan's life and self-perception is already so awful so i wanted to know why you'd add to that in such a specifically unnerving way? specially since you clarify at the start that it's not a shipping thing, im really very curious on your thought process here. but yes great writing
thank you so much for reading! i very much understand the reservations, and i appreciate that you were willing to give it a chance. this answer is a bit long, because i wanted to try to fully, properly respond to what you're asking. so, here we go!
1) how it came to be:
i'd just played the dbz:kakarot dlc, and i had seen some art that made me feel some kind of way about future gohan, so i was browsing ao3 for fic, as one does. i encountered basically this premise in the summary of an explicit fic, and i… was very unnerved by it! a lot. fics will be what they will be! but this concept unsettled me.
but because of that, it stuck with me, and i ended up talking about why with a friend, to help me understand my own response. and in that discussion, i noticed that if you took that element of SA as a premise for a different type of story, a lot of concepts around agency and bodily autonomy that are relevant to the characters come up: gohan as a child soldier, with his right to decide the fate of his own body taken from him and, in this timeline, forever lost; the androids as victims of human experimentation, who had not just their bodies stolen but whose very minds were warped, so that the delight they have in their violent power over others is also the result of violence done to them—of their own minds ripped away and remade to someone else's design.
that resonated with something. so i started exploring ideas, and i ended up getting some concepts for a story that i liked, a story that felt like it was saying something about how people maintain integrity and assert agency in situations that try to take those things from them.
but i was still hesitant about the core premise, so i tried to find ways to write it out of the outline. i tested some things, but ultimately i realized i couldn’t get rid of that part of the story. it just didn't work without it. and it felt somehow cowardly for me to turn away from it? disrespectful, somehow, even? like…
there’s a way that 17 talks to gohan in the dbz:kakarot trunks dlc's english dub. 18 and 17 are both over-familiar with him, but 17 is mock-affectionate in a way that made me want to slap him. it made my skin crawl. and the type of violence addressed in "good loser" is not so distant from the violence that the androids and gohan both experience in canon: it's all violence that happens when someone decides that another person's body isn't theirs to control; instead, the body will be put to the perpetrator's purposes (for the androids, dr. gero’s plans; for gohan, piccolo’s vision of his potential vs the saiyans). (ofc there is a difference between piccolo and gero, which in "good loser" 17 refuses to see, but there IS also a similarity, which gohan refuses to see.)
and there's a link between those canonical violences and the uncomfortable way 17 talks to gohan. as a consequence of those experiences, the androids and gohan were set on a path where 17 and 18, in the bodies and minds that their abuser remade, would treat gohan as theirs to abuse and break, over and over, until they bored of him. and gohan could never back down, because of what he was made into—but also because of who he chooses to be
and that, i think, is 2) why i decided to explore it.
because the premise created a scenario where all those interrelated violences could be addressed, even if the characters resisted facing them. it pulled the uncomfortable truth of their experiences, and the situation they were now in, to the surface. if i wanted to tell a story that looked honestly at the way gohan's agency over his own body has been stolen from him by violence, and how that related to the androids' own loss of bodily and mental autonomy, i couldn’t run away from the idea that let me see it. i had to face it directly.
but if i was going to deal with it directly, i'd have to do so in a way that felt right to me.
so i decided on not doing any explicit content. aside from not wanting to write it, the absence worked better for the story i wanted to tell: 1) it reflected how gohan dissociated away from and repressed the experiences, and 2) it gave gohan a kind of meta-level agency. this is his story, in his pov, and he doesn’t want to share how he was victimized. so he gets to have that refusal.
i also knew i had to take seriously what this kind of violence means for the people involved. to take seriously what it would mean for 18, who was once a teen girl runaway, to see her brother perpetrate the type of violence that she was almost certainly threatened with, violence she may not be able to remember but that sticks deep in her subconscious. to take seriously 17’s mindset as a perpetrator, how he could justify and excuse it and not see what he was doing for what it was—how he could act like he and gohan were both contenders in a shared game, while at the same time enjoying how much he outclassed gohan, how he could differentiate himself to himself from the type of perpetrator his sister is trying not to see him as.
and most of all, i’d take seriously gohan’s experiences: not just the trauma and violation, but also the integrity and unflinching compassion, the deep love he has for the people he protects and for the people who protected him, the will he has to keep fighting even when it feels like a lost cause, because he believes someone else can build on his resistance and that one day that person will win.
that—gohan with his integrity and hope, doing all that he can to stop violence from happening to anyone else, if not now then tomorrow—that felt like the only way i'd feel right about writing this. that was the story that was meaningful to me, enough that, even in my discomfort, i wanted to tell it. i wanted to write more than resilience: i wanted to write gohan's resistance.
in the end, i had to accept that it would be unnerving as a premise, and i couldn't run away from it. all i could do was try my best to write it with care.
thanks again for reading, and for asking this question! it means a lot to me that you were willing to give the story a try. i hope this answer explains how it came to happen, and why i took the approach i did. if you want any clarifications or have any other questions, definitely let me know!

Smutember 2022 - Day 11 Just The Tip
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Title: Good Boys Get Punished, Too ☆☆ Pairing: Gohan x Female Reader ☆☆ Word Count: 945 ☆☆ Contents: ( M / 18+. MINORS DNI. teasing, dirty talk, consent, consent everywhere, oversensitive gohan is oversensitive its the son family tradition 👍🏾, probably some yandere vibes if you squint ) ☆☆Warning: ( a lil bit dark, explicit language, oral - male receiving, referenced sad0-gohan, referenced rough sex )
Darling, sweet darling. He should know better by now. But Gohan's mind was so preoccupied it was too late for him to notice what was happening. The moment you approached and, without warning, hit the switch off on the desk lamp for his attention should have opened his eyes to the fate he sealed for himself, and yet you were looked upon with confused bright eyes— a disturbed response from the half-saiyan to the necessity of the light easing the strain on his eyes while he worked— only hurting his situation.
Oh. Am I bothering you, Darling?
When you suddenly cupped his chin to mesh his lips with yours and your other hand went straight for his lap it was a surprise to him. With the evening sky darkening the room beyond the laptop screen's reach, it finally dawned on him. Too little, too late. Gohan broke your kiss in a jolt of panic, stuttering out an explanation for getting lost in his work yet again but you had already gotten his pants open and turned his words to noise in and out the ear. Your boldness comes with the territory of your arrangements. Sucking his dick was how you nursed your feelings since your relationship had grown intimate. Always to please, but mostly to tease. And teased you shall, thoroughly. Deservingly. Just as quickly as your licked lips nestled the crown in kisses and your tongue curled to its shape did his attempts to apologize for his forgetfulness turn to vulnerable whines..
How easily your sensual acts could sway him to your beck and call, Gohan cursed how acutely his body accepted pleasure as he can only hold back and endure, but he can't help the mesmeric way your tongue slides against the tip of his cock. It felt great but he knew this pleasure was being used against him, his bodily restraint both a blessing and a curse.
"It's not good to have such a big dick and be so delicate." You scolded him coldly. All part of your game. Your eyes look up reflecting the laptop's glow as you suck the head of his length past your lips and slowly draw it back out with an impish grin, "Don't you know how cute that is? I'm supposed to be mad at you, you know."
It's a win-win, really. You mess him up and in return, he can mess you up whenever he wanted. Beyond the display of fairy tale lovebirds that you truly are, you both allow yourselves to succumb to your darkness. With a pre-determined agreement, you open yourselves to be honest with each other's needs and it just plain makes the sex great. It's the curiosity of what Gohan is capable of that makes you submissive to his true nature, but truthfully it's the hardest he's ever made you cum. At his leisure, Gohan can pound your holes until you are hoarse and sore, when his glaring eyes are void of softness and his body surges with power hardening his muscular frame. Painfully aware that he could crush your hands when his fingers lace with yours or even pop off your delicate legs from the socket when he lifts the limb around his hips. Enticed, even, by the visceral appeal of the thought alone and how it would quiet a perverted and vicious urge always dwelling in his soul. How you would shriek and beg him for mercy when he breaks you and find only his satisfied smirk in return.
But you are just as frail and broken when you squirm and sweat and are left breathless joined at the hip with him. Eyes wet and dilated with lust from stimulation beyond your control whether your hips roll slowly with his or he bangs into you to the hilt of his length. To his enjoyment, just seeing you like that was more than enough. It's how he knows you are perfect for him, and of course he would never hurt you to such a degree.
You have your selfish needs, too.
Feeling the tip of his nose against your clit when you straddled his head was one, but getting to punish this girthy blessing of his whenever you want was just the start. It's always exciting how the size fills your hands, how well-receiving his body was to such little stimulation from you and how frustrated a man of his caliber can become putting up with it for you. It quickly turned him to putty the moment your tongue lapped at his wet crown and repeated your head sucking. Fitting any more in your mouth would be a relief he has not earned.
"You know I won't eat dinner without you, why did you leave me all alone at the dinner table? No call, no text. You just left me there, Gohan." You muttered after popping his cock from your lips. You can hear the chair squeak under his shifting and sinking in the seat, his large hands gripping the base. Wanting to drive it down your throat until your eyes rolled, to guide your head, but he is forbidden to touch you. Gohan looks down at you through his glasses sitting low on his nose, hearing his own breathless apology fall on deaf ears when your tongue toyed with his tip. It's hard to watch you and not let his cum spill in your face. But you are more forgiving if his eyes do not leave you, forced to watch his own torture.
You move your hands onto his thighs and balance the tip of his cock between your lips, once again sucking only just beneath the swelling crown.

How would you have written pan as a character for gt?
Tumblr media
Above all else, I'd want to establish an end goal for her character arc. Where do we want Pan to end up at the end of the story? How will she change? And then I'd write the character with that goal in mind.
Let's use her father as an example. When Gohan is first introduced, he's established to have great potential, but he's untrained and easily frightened. He taps into that hidden power when he sees his father in danger, or when his own life is threatened, but that's about it. Piccolo declares his intention to train Gohan to control his hidden power, so that he can become strong enough to defend the earth.
And that mission statement becomes the throughline for the character. It's not the only thing Gohan does in Dragon Ball Z, but with each adventure he goes on, he gets a little more capable and a little more responsible and mature.
Static characters are a thing, and you can have them in your story. Yajirobe is basically the same guy in Dragon Ball Super as he is in his first appearance. He moves into Korin Tower and ages a few decades, but otherwise nothing changes. It works in his case, because he's a supporting role in a very large cast of characters.
But Gohan and Pan are presented as major players in their respective stories, and they need to develop over time, in order to keep the audience invested in them. This wasn't lost on the makes of GT. In episode 2, Pan makes it clear that she wants to be taken more seriously by the adults, and she sneaks aboard the ship and forces the others to let her stay aboard, all so she can prove her worth.
Tumblr media
But what progress do we see Pan make towards that goal? I'm sure there's some throwaway lines at the end of the Baby Saga about how proud everyone is of Pan for her courage, but the Pan at the end of GT looks and acts basically the same as the one we see at the beginning. What did she learn from all those adventures? How has she grown?
With Gohan in DBZ, this is always obvious to the viewer. He goes from trembling at the thought of fighting Nappa to standing up to Recoome all by himself. At the Cell Games, he doesn't just show superior strength, he also demonstrates skills that he didn't have before he spent that year in the Time Chamber with Goku. He uses the Kamehameha, but he also deflects a Special Beam Cannon, among other things. And there's a lot of visual changes he goes through as well. Fans can just look at a picture of Gohan and identify what period of the show it's from.
GT Pan doesn't get any of that. She's stuck wearing the same Winnie the Pooh shirt from start to finish, and while I'm sure she increased her power level over the course of the series, there's no clear indication of this.
This was why I was always mad that she didn't turn Super Saiyan in Episode 15. It was a perfect opportunity to have her reach a tangible milestone, something that would force everyone to accept her as a peer. Then she could have racked up some wins later in the show, maybe defeat Tuffle Goten or something, and then later she could take out a major league dead villain in the Super 17 Saga. And then she could have scored a big solo win over one of the Shadow Dragons. She wouldn't have to become the strongest character on the show, or anything like that. The point would be to demonstrate that Pan Has Changed A Lot, and she's much more capable in Episode 60 than she was in Episode 3.
Tumblr media
If you want to get into specific ideas, I would probably focus on Pan doing "penance" for stealing Goten's spot on the GT Crew. The idea Vegeta had was for Goten and Trunks to go with Goku as a sort of training journey. Pan took Goten's spot, which means she has to do all the hard work Goten would have had to do. They showed her doing (and assigning) chores on the ship in Episode 3, but she never learned anything about the tech that makes the ship run, and we never see her training with Goku.
A big problem with GT, especially early GT, is how they just waste time doing nothing, when they could use that time to develop the characters. So you have scenes where Trunks says something responsible or anxious, and Pan acts whiny or bossy, and Goku says he's hungry, and it's like, that's it, there's your characterization for the week! It's hollow and performative, and it betrays the formulaic attitudes of the creators. They're just making GT in order to hang on to the time slot for one more year.
What they should have done was to use those quiet moments in the stories to show Pan learning from Goku and Trunks. If they're on their way to the next planet, Trunks should be showing Pan how to fly the ship. If they're waiting for repairs, Goku should be sparring with Pan to pass the time. Goku should be very eager to get Pan up to Super Saiyan level, because it could literally save her life one of these days. And, more importantly, Goku knows she's capable of earning the respect she craves.
She should also be learning lessons to curb her shitty attitude, the same way Goku learned some manners in the original series, and Gohan learned to take care of himself in Z. It's bizarre to me how often Pan treats Goku and Trunks with such contempt, and yet she wants them to respect her. It would be so easy to have someone point out the hypocrisy, and maybe that would get Pan to rethink how she looks at the world, but that conversation just never happens.
I could take this in more radical directions, like giving Pan special powers or a unique skill no one else has, but it boils down to the same thing. If you're going to send Pan into space for a year, then she needs to come back older and wiser than she was before. The change needs to be apparent to the viewer, and we should get to see that change happen over the course of the story.

wait, who do you think would survive the horrors of being Stanley in DBZ?
THAT is a VERY good question! I have no idea! :D
BUT! I do have a few ideas on what I think could happen if I grabbed a handful of “lucky” contestants to each play the role of Stanley! (Again these are just my ideas so feel free to debate, and this is going off the idea that they’re not permanently stuck in the game)
Goku:
Someone help him. Sure, he could follow along with the Narrator’s story pretty well, but we all know his curiosity may get the better of him. He’ll probably try to check each and every office room to see if he can find any of the missing coworkers, and you know he’ll be wondering where the food is. The Adventure Line™️ will make Its™️ appearance. He’ll get a few endings (Confusion being one of them), but I know he’ll get Freedom in the end. He is Goku after all. He’s not dumb, he’s just curious.
Vegeta:
This man will refuse to listen to the Narrator because something something pride, and how dare someone boss around the prince of all Saiyans? He’s the first player of the group to lose his cool, his temper, and his mind, and will absolutely argue with the Narrator about anything. He’ll definitely get the Insanity ending, and/or end up storming into the large storage room thinking he can fly out of there somehow, and end up discovering that he can’t fly (or even jump) in this game, and end up plummeting to the floor below with Cold Feet. Good job, Vegeta. Everyone thinks you’re very powerful and feared indeed. Now get up, the game is resetting. If he ever does get the Freedom ending I’ll honestly be shocked. He’ll also abuse the heck out of the skip button.
Piccolo:
Like Vegeta, he won’t like being told what to do and try to go his own way. However, that being said, I feel like Piccolo would be a little more open to the idea of listening to what the Narrator has to say. He’ll question certain things along the way (Like what’s the big deal with some random bucket?), but he won’t argue like Vegeta would. He’d probably keep the majority of his thoughts and opinions to himself. Once he finds the Zending, however, he just may reconsider wanting to leave. It’s strangely relaxing there, and he will stay there for long periods of time to meditate, and the Narrator will let him uninterrupted. If Piccolo did ever get tired of it, though, he would ask the Narrator to manually reset the game, rather than jump off the stairs. If he decides to finally listen to the Narrator’s instructions, then he’ll achieve Freedom in no time at all.
Yamcha:
This poor guy.. He would be so puzzled going into this… The Apartment Ending would get to him so badly, with the Narrator mocking him so harshly (“Who could possibly love you?”), and he would be carrying that reassurance bucket everywhere with him just so he feels like he has a friend by his side. Yes, he would be talking to the bucket. Yes, the Narrator would think he’s lost his mind. After a few endings, he might try just closing himself in the starting room Reluctantly. But after discovering that’s another ending, then he might pull himself together and aim for Freedom.
Gohan:
His brain is running a billion miles a minute. The whole concept of this strange game is interesting to him. He would be taking in every little detail of the meeting room, trying to figure out why the coworkers are missing, and also trying to decipher the mystery of the Figleys. He does also discover tricks of the map, and attempts a speedrun. However, he still ends up at the bottom of the Mind Control Facility. Congrats, nerd, you did it.
Gamma 1:
He would most likely follow orders to a T, maybe taking a detour to the employee lounge just to see what would happen, though that’s not likely. Regardless, he’s getting the Freedom ending on the first run.
Gamma 2:
He too would follow orders fairly well, more likely than 1 to deviate to the employee lounge and investigate the broom closet, though he would be more of the guy who would do the silly task of “clicking” on the office doors and standing on the desk. Will also get the Freedom ending early on, but if he ended up in the New Content showroom, he will be there for a long time. The Jim button is absolutely destroyed from being pushed one too many times, and he’ll definitely think the Figleys are the coolest.
17:
He’s not going to like the idea of being here at first, but once he figures out how things work he is going to annoy the hell out of the Narrator. He too will “click” the office doors, and will end up jumping Out of Bounds through the window. Other antics would include staying in the employee lounge for an extended period of time just to annoy the Narrator, parkouring off the cargo lift onto the catwalk while the Narrator’s still talking, and literally just disobeying the Narrator’s orders purely for the fun of it because following his orders is “boring”. He’d want to see as many endings as possible to keep himself entertained, with the actual Freedom ending being his least priority. This game is too fun to leave just yet. As long as he doesn’t push the ON button, everything will be fiiiiine…

What are Gine's goals/ambitions/hopes (which ever one fits her best) for her life on Earth? As a few examples, does she hope to have a real connection with her family? Would she ever be interested in seeking a REAL romantic partner (if not seeking actively, in pursuing romance if the right person came into her life)? Does she want to open her own butcher shop?
Obviously, answer this however. I was just giving some examples to make it maybe a little less broad of a questions xD
Establishing a real connection with her fam is probably her biggest goal methinks! The ONLY thing in Gine's life that's given her a full, non-tainted sense of happiness is being a mother, so she continues to cling to that feeling because it's familiar and helps ground her in a way. Raditz and Goku are very much adults who can take care of themselves she knows, but she still wants to be there for them however she can in the relative peace they get to experience nowadays. She definitely wants to make up for lost time, somehow. Quite so with Goku, since he's started his own family and she's a grandmother - something she frankly never thought she'd be (because she always thought she'd die before at least Raditz might father a kid or more). Getting to know and learn more about Chi Chi, Gohan, and Goten have been many highlights throughout her days.
Seeking a romantic partner though...that'll get a big shrug from her. Romance is still such an enigmatic concept to her, since it was basically non-existent on Vegeta. The smallest resemblance of it in her life happened with Bardock, and even then, she'd never say they had a "romance" going on. One of Gine's newfound hobbies on Earth is reading, and you bet she's picked up some romance novels to scan through. The way earthlings paint romance makes it out to be something almost magical, and while she still doesn't really get it, Gine would be liar if she said she wasn't curious.
But finding someone to her tastes is where her uncertainty comes in. She doesn't know the first thing about "courting", where to start looking, nor if she would even be suitable enough for the average earthling. She doesn't look old but she definitely feels it, and her awkwardness with Earth's society only intensifies it. Gine's aware she doesn't need a partner, especially these days where she's more or less already lived a "full life" (especially in regards to the average saiyan), so she feels no pressure or urgency. If it happens, it happens.
...She would also be a liar if she said she hasn't entertained the thought of starting up something new and more serious with Bardock, but that's outside of her control. Plus there's still self-imposed baggage there.
When it comes to her career, the idea of being in control of her own thing is appealing! But she doesn't know much about the legal nonsense that'll go into owning a shop. She gets the impression that it'll just be a massive headache, so it's a dream on the backburner for now.

SAIYAN PRIDE = ARROGANCE
Tumblr media
Saiyans take great pride in their strength and believe they are the greatest.
Tumblr media
There is nothing wrong with pride as long as you don't become too prideful. BUT...
What us humans/Earthlings call "arrogance" is what Saiyans call "pride."
Tumblr media
Earthling pride is pride in yourself & others which has allowed characters to able to reach new levels of strength through compassion for others.
Vegeta had began to develop some Earthling pride along with his Saiyan pride after the Cell saga when he stayed with Bulma & Trunks to see if family could give him strength as it did Goku. Then, Vegeta's Saiyan pride is what led him to allow Babidi control him so that he could feel stronger & not feel weak for developing human emotions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But, Vegeta's developing Earthling pride is what drove him to sacrifice himself for the ones he cared for.
Tumblr media
And Vegeta's Earthling pride been further developed in the DBS anime. He would not have gotten SSBE with Saiyan self-centered pride alone. The compassion he learned from good humans was the key to becoming stronger.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a lesson that Gohan learned when he fought Cell. SSJ2 Gohan became lost in his new power & behaved like a Saiyan. He was arrogant, malicious, selfish, and wanted to torture Cell instead of just ending him. Gohan's overconfidence was his mistake. A mistake that resulted in his father's death and almost got everyone else killed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mr. Satan/Hercule is an example of a human character behaving arrogant like a Saiyan.
He was arrogant, overconfident, & very selfish. He thought he was the strongest, but he got a wake-up call after Cell almost killed him with little effort & he saw the strength of the others present at the Cell Games. Then, again, he got another reality check in the Buu saga. And whenever he was overpowered, Mr. Satan gave up & he revealed how sneaky & cowardly he truly was. This is unlike other human characters like Krillin, Yamcha, & Tenshinhan. They do not behave animalistic like Saiyans and how Mr. Satan once behaved. (Tien & Yamcha used to be arrogant as well.)
The arrogant Mr. Satan is similar to the arrogant Vegeta. BUT... Mr. Satan's arrogance is played up for comedic effect while Vegeta's arrogance is taken seriously.
(Funny enough, the many fans of Mr. Satan within the DB series are similar to the many in the DB fandom who believe that Saiyan arrogance is better than human confidence. Both are fooled by bravado.)
Dragon Ball has shown us time & again that Saiyan pride/arrogance and that IS NOT a good thing. But, despite this repeated lesson, so many in the fandom believe that Saiyan pride is the best.
In reality, what us humans call "pride" (which is what Saiyans call "weakness") is greater than Saiyan pride/arrogance. This is why Saiyans have to become more human in order to become better people & stronger fighters.
I just thought about it & added this here last minute, but this is important too. Saiyan pride was foreign to Cabba. Why? It's likely due to Universe 6 Saiyans not being evil like in Universe 7. Saiyan pride (arrogance in their strength) led to the demise of innocent races & the demise of the Saiyans. Universe 6 Saiyans aren't like this, so an arrogant concept is not promoted amognst all of their Saiyans. Some U6 Saiyans may have arrogance, but not all.

And here is a sneak peak of Gohan x Piccolo Royalty AU. Come on y’allllllll, join me on this ship, I promise it’s a good time ❤️
- The Beast Prince
“Ah~” King Goku yawned, stretching his arms up as he strode ahead, tail swishing casually as he strode in front of the Namekian and two Saiyan high guards throughout the palace. He cocked his head to look back at his guest. “I hope you last longer than the others, this is becoming a hassle. Namekians are hardy, yeah?”
Piccolo’s face revealed nothing as he walked, back straight and head held high. “Yes, your majesty.”
“No need to be so formal, you’ll make me feel like Lord Vegeta…” Goku waved him off nonchalantly, then brightened. “Oh, and your kind can regenerate limbs! That’s handy. Some of the gifts were too fragile, tch.”
“Gifts” is what they were called. Gifts for the demi-Saiyan son of the Saiyan King Son Goku himself. A hybrid of a Saiyan and human that was said to be capable of out-powering full-blooded Saiyans.
And Namek’s gift was him, Piccolo, a respected warrior and direct descendant of the King Piccolo.
Planet Namek had been destroyed, and now the once proud and powerful race were nothing but nomads. His people had no home, and thus were left out in the open for potential threats to wipe them out completely without some kind of protection.
Piccolo steeled himself. He was powerful, a trained fighter, he had faced many a ferocious foe and come out on top. Surely, he could survive this being known as the Beast Prince.
And being a gift to such a powerful fearsome warrior race - the royal family at that - was a high honour. They’d truly be an indispensable ally, and if he could win the royal family’s favour, the Saiyan planet could be a safe habour and home for his people, but…
Piccolo couldn’t stop thinking about the damage he’d seen on his way to the palace, an entire section of their city destroyed. He’d heard of the prince before even arriving from gossiping aliens.
The Prince has defeated that monster Cell as a child, and had apparently toyed with him before killing him. He’d torn into Maijin Buu as a teen and would’ve destroyed him completely if he hadn’t been defeated by his own Saiyan arrogance.
Saiyans were already known to be thick-headed, possessive, and incredibly aggressive, quick to resolve their problems with violence. A race fuelled by anger, deriving their formidable power from their rage to the point that the ruthlessness of Saiyans was known throughout the galaxy. And despite this, even their own people had named the prince a beast.
Piccolo’s jaw tightened, ears twitching as he sensed the colossal power of the king walking before him. Would his son be at a similar level? Could he really be even stronger?
It was their breeding season, and the young prince had yet to select a Saiyan mate to continue the Royal family line and further strengthen the hybridization. Now that the prince had reached his twentieth year and had yet to pick a bride, other planets tried to win the Saiyan’s favour by gifting him a willing bedmate from their planet to accompany the Beast Prince through his mating cycle.
The Saiyans were not generous when it came to providing aid to other races or to sharing their homeland. Terrans were only allowed to inhabit their planet when the king married a human. If Piccolo serving himself as a gift could garner their good will, then it was worth everything.
But none of the gifts had lasted a full breeding cycle, either fleeing or being thrown out. The last gift hadn’t even lasted a night…
Without a mate to satisfy his needs, the Beast Prince had lost control of his power and unleashed his great ape form upon the city’s mining district. Usually, the Saiyan’s great ape form could only be released by the Terran’s full moon, but this demi-Saiyan was like no other of his kind. Thankfully, the district had been evacuated in time, and the king had apparently been a mix of frustration and pride at his son's raw strength.
They continued walking and Piccolo avoided looking outside the palace walls to witness the destruction once more. They passed both Saiyans and Terrans on their way, bowing to their king. The humans skittered away at the sight of Piccolo, towering over them as he strode past, and he refused to react when they whispered, “Demon…”
The Saiyans, however, eyed him up and down, grinning with their Saiyan fangs on display, and flicking their tails to brush against his ankle when the king wasn’t looking. A being that could both fight and regenerate was… appealing to the violent race, it appeared. They sniffed the air as he walked by, some even daring to quietly growl their interest. It was their breeding season, after all…
To be seen as both a threat and a toy… Piccolo clenched his jaw and steeled himself, trying to shake free of these traitorous thoughts. It is an honour, it is an honour, it is an honour…
Finally, the king stopped at a gigantic door at the end of the long hallway. The door itself was a curious hybrid. Bejewelled and lavish, as one would expect for a member of the royal family, but heavily reinforced and so heavy that it took both Saiyan guards to open it with considerable effort. The king stepped forward into the yawning room, waving for the Namekian to follow, which Piccolo obediently did.
“Hey son! Another gift has arrived!” called out the king, his son nowhere in sight in the massive room. At the sound of rustling, Goku clapped Piccolo on the back with enough force for him to stagger forward. “Alright, good luck, Namekian!”
He then turned and left with a flick of his tail, and the door was heavily shut behind him, followed by several formidable clicks and thunks of all the locks and barricades being put back in place. Piccolo stared at the closed door as the following silence made this current situation all the more real.
Before Piccolo could take in what would be his new home for the next few days - if his understanding of how Saiyans’ breeding cycles worked was correct - his ears twitched, eyes widening. He turned away from the door and towards the approaching energy in the room as the prince himself drifted down from a higher area in the room
“Already?” The approaching man said with a sigh, “How bothersome…”
The room’s owner finally landed lightly on the ground and looked up, their eyes connecting. There, standing tall for a Saiyan, though still considerably shorter than Piccolo himself, in soft, unassuming clothes, was the Beast Prince himself. The young man’s eyes blinked wide, his Saiyan tail swishing behind him and his arms full of books and loose papers. His hair was loose and messy, eyes bleary as if he hadn’t looked up from the books for some time and had certainly not expected to see the tall Namekian before him.
“O-oh. Hello,” The Beast Prince said, startled, cheeks flushing pink. He adjusted his glasses, and ran his hand through his messy hair. “Um, would you like some tea?”
-
And that’s it for the preview! Still working on the rest. It is... VERY smutty haha! Hope y’all enjoyed!

Dragon Ball Legend Part 22
Another Transformation?,
"I'm putting a stop to this right now!"
Ocarin quickly flew off, heading towards Frieza and Piccolo and Gohan followed behind her.
"Gohan! Ocarin!" Krillin cried out. Frieza fired another shot at Piccolo before he noticed Ocarin and Gohan. Ocarin quickly teleported and kicked Frieza in the face, knocking Frieza away from Piccolo. Frieza crashed into the ground below them and Gohan began to gather his energy and fired it at Frieza.
"Masenkoha!" Gohan shouted. A large yellow beam shot straight at Frieza. Frieza struggled to push it back with his hands and Gohan continued to push it back. Frieza managed to gain control and knocked it back sending the beam flying at Gohan. Piccolo quickly shot an energy blast, deflecting the beam before it reached Gohan and knocked it upwards into the sky then it exploded.
"That was a close one." Piccolo said, smiling a little. He was impressed by how strong Gohan had become. He was no longer the weak, sniveling little crybaby anymore. "I can't believe Frieza survived that. But, boy, Gohan, what a pistol." Vegeta quickly turned to Krillin as the two were watching the fight.
"Hey, cue ball!" Vegeta grabbed Krillin. "Listen up and listen good cause I'm only going to say this once. The only way for us to beat Frieza is to wound me to an inch of my life. Because after what we've just witnessed, a Saiyan's power grows stronger after recovering from serious injuries! I need to get stronger! Understand me? Good!" Krillin stammered as he looked at Vegeta, shocked. "Well, what are you waiting for, huh? Punch me! Cut a hole in me! Cause if you don't, we are doomed!"
"But I can hurt you if I beat you up too much!" Krillin exclaimed.
"Very unlikely. Let's get this show on the road, shall we? Now according to my plan, once the Namekian gnome down there sees I'm nearly toast, he has no choice but to heal me, right?" Vegeta asked.
"Even though I can't stand your guts, I can't do it!" Krillin shook his head and pushed Vegeta off of him. Vegeta stared at him in shock.
"You-"
"Besides after what I just saw Gohan do, who needs you!" Krillin shouted.
"Give me a break! The kid's hasn't got any power left after that attack!" Vegeta argued.
"Pardon me, I hate to interrupt, but I am running on a bit of a tight schedule. So, to be fair, I'll even give you the choice of which one of you will be my first victim." Frieza smirked.
"I think he's talking to us, Vegeta." Krillin cringed.
"No! I'm not ready!" Vegeta shouted.
'My dear, dear, friend. Who is ever ready to meet their final fate? Now feast your eyes on my ultimate transformation!" Frieza laughed and he began to gather up energy.
"It's incredible." Piccolo said in disbelief.
"Now what are we going to do!?" Gohan cried out. Then Piccolo had noticed that Nail had been unusually quiet for awhile now.
"Something on your mind?"
"Well, yes, something has been bothering me. Why hasn't she used her powers? With them she could be able to defeat Frieza." Piccolo glanced at Ocarin.
"Ocarin? What do you mean? What powers?"
"I've witnessed it firsthand for myself when Guru unlocked her powers. It was terrifyingly strong but also incredible." Nail told him.
"Ocarin, I have something to ask you." Piccolo said to her. Ocarin turned to him.
"Yes, what is it?"
"Why can't you use your powers that Guru unlocked for you? Right now, would be really good." Piccolo said. Ocarin stared at him for a moment before looking down, sighing.
"I don't know how. Krillin and Gohan saw it the first time it happened.. when you were killed. I got so angry I lost control. I didn't even know that I had that kind of power until Guru told me about it. I'm a deity." She told him. Piccolo's eyes widen.
"A what?!"
"Guru told me that I was a Cerulean, whatever that is. When he unlocked my powers and I saw it for myself, it was scary. I just didn't feel like me. It felt terrifying, but also powerful."
"I think I might know how to trigger it from what you've told me." Piccolo replied. Ocarin turned back to him.
"What is it?-!" Suddely, Krillin attacked Vegeta and fired an energy blast in the Saiyan's stomach and Vegeta fell from the sky, plummenting to the ground. "What the?! Krillin attacked Vegeta!"
"Hey, what's going on? Whatcha do that for Krillin!?" Gohan shouted at Krillin.
"Gohan! Ocarin! You two get out of here right now!" Piccolo shouted. All three could sense Frieza was getting even more stronger, and his armor was starting to crack.
"B-But-!" Gohan stammered, not wanting to leave Piccolo or Ocarin. Ocarin's eyes widened when she saw Piccolo drop in the air, loosing conciousness.
"Piccolo!" Ocarin quickly flew towards Piccolo and caught him. "Hang in there. Come on, we got to get you to Dende." The two flew down and landed on the ground and Gohan landed beside them, looking at Piccolo, worried. "Gohan, go get Dende!" Ocarin quickly told him. Gohan nodded.
"Right! Dende's healing powers! He can fix you right up!" Krillin came down and landed next to the group.
"Krillin, we've got to find Dende!" Gohan explained to him.
"Krillin, why did you attack Vegeta?" Ocarin asked Krillin. Krillin frowned.
"Vegeta asked me to. He said if I did, he'd get Dende to heal him and turn into a Super Saiyan!" He explained to them. Ocarin stared at him in disblief.
"And you listened to him? Him of all people? Are you crazy?!" She shouted. She stopped when she heard Piccolo groan next to her and quickly turned back to him. "Piccolo!"
"Come on, we need to get Dende!" Gohan shouted and he and Krillin ran heading towards where they last saw the Namekian child along with Necke.
Dende cried out fearfully and backed away as Vegeta approached him and Necke.
"Come here, kid. You got to help me. If you know what's good for you, you will! Understand?" Dende shook his head.
"I can't help you!"
"Why should we help you!?" Necke shouted, angrily, at him.
"What are you saying?! I know you can help! I've seen you heal other people!" Vegeta exclaimed.
"I can only heal those who have a good heart. You, your heart is black from the people that you've hurt!" Dende shouted.
"What? You little-Unless you heal me, you little brat, Frieza's is going to wipe us all out!" Vegeta growled.
"I'm sorry, I can't!" Dende continued to back away from him.
"Come on! I don't have time for your stupid moral dilemma, kid!" Vegeta insisted.
"I won't do it!" Dende flew away, leaving Vegeta and Necke behind, heading towards Piccolo and Ocarin. Vegeta collapsed on the ground. He was losing a lot of blood and was starting to lose consciousness. Necke stared down at him unsure of what to before quickly chasing after Dende.
"Dende!"
"You'll pay for this!"
Gohan and Krillin saw Vegeta lying on the ground as well as Dende and Necke flying over them, heading towards Ocarin and Piccolo. The two followed after them.
"Dende! Necke! Down here!" Ocarin called out to the two Namekians. Dende and Necke landed beside her, kneeling in front of Piccolo.
"So, I hear that you have the power to heal me?" Piccolo said, weakly. Dende nodded and stretched out his hands as he started to heal Piccolo.
"Yes." Piccolo was engulfed in Dende's magic, and his wounds began to heal on their own, slowly closing up. He also felt his energy return to him, getting stronger and back to full strength. Piccolo blinked in shock and stood up and looked back down at Dende.
"This is amazing. Thanks kid, I owe you."
'Well, I didn't do it for you out, sir. I did it to help Nail." Dende said.
"Do I have healing powers?" Piccolo asked. Dende shook his head.
"No, you're a warrior Namekian. I'm from the Dragon clan and so is Necke. Our powers our mostly based on magic and healing." Piccolo noticed Necke, staring at him as he clinged to Ocarin.
"Is this the child you were talking about earlier?" Piccolo asked Ocarin. Ocarin nodded. "Yes. This is Necke. We've been looking out for each other."
'You look an awful lot like Nail." Necke said before his eyes widen in realization and he turned to Ocarin. "Oh, I get it! Is this the guy you mentioned earlier that meant very much to you?" Ocarin sputtered in shock and her eyes widened, blushing in embarrassment as did Piccolo's and he turned to her.
"Kids am I right? They say the darnedest things!" Ocarin chuckled sheepishly, brushing off the suspicious look that Piccolo was giving her.
Krillin and Gohan ran up to the group, seeing Dende was with them.
"Dende, listen, the only way to beat Frieza is to heal Vegeta. You got to understand, it's our only hope." Krillin insisted. Dende's eyes widen and he shook his head.
"I can't." He said. "He's just like Frieza! I can't help someone who destroyed my people!" Piccolo placed his hand on Dende's shoulder.
"I'm sorry, kid, but I have to agree with your friends. All of us combined are no match for Frieza. So, we need Vegeta, there's no other way." Nail's voice spoke through Piccolo. Suddenly, an loud explosion rang out from across the field, where Frieza was.
"It's Frieza! What are we going to do!?" Gohan cried out.
"He must be finished transforming!" Piccolo shouted.
"Guys, I say we get out of here while we can! Just until Goku gets here!" Krillin shouted.
"If we do that, Frieza will destroy this entire planet including Goku! I know Frieza has no regard for anyone or anything! And whatever he's transforming into it's really powerful. I wonder what it would look like." Piccolo said.
"I bet it's the most hideous, ugly, repulsive thing the universe." Krillin replied.
"Please, Dende, you have to forget about the past and heal Vegeta." Gohan insisted.
"Vegeta has done some terrible things, but we need him. Dende you have to heal him." Ocarin said. Dende nodded and he flew off, heading back to Vegeta.
"Thanks, Dende." Gohan smiled.
"I can see him!" Piccolo shouted. Ocarin pushed Necke behind her. "Necke, stay behind me." Necke gripped tightly, his body trembling.
Dende had made it back to Vegeta and began to heal him with his powers. Vegeta stood up just as Dende was done and glared down at him. "By the way-" He kicked Dende, hard, knocking Dende onto the ground. "Hey, punk, you're lucky that you've just caught me in a good mood." Vegeta turned back to Frieza.
"At last, Frieza decides to show himself and from here he doesn't' look so tough anymore. Well, I guess now that my power has increased, it's time to let my fist do the talking." The smoke slowly began to clear, revealing Frieza's new form. He had shrunken down and was skinnier, a rounder head, had purple patches on his body; one in the center of his chest, two on his shoulder and legs, and one spread out on the top of his head, and his tail had regenerated back and was longer.
"That's Frieza's new form? He doesn't look so tough to me." Krillin murmured.
"Shut up. Let me give you a piece of advice. Don't let the creature fool you cause you know looks aren't everything." Piccolo said. "He's just too strong! And even with our combined strength, there's no way we could start to put a new dent in his shiny new armor." He gritted his teeth in frustration. "I'd say we get out and maybe one day we can return and kill him."
"He's not going to give us that chance. He's too fast." Ocarin shook her head. Everyone tensed up and braced themselves when they saw Frieza slowly raised his hand, pointing his finger at them.
"Bang!"
There was a big explosion behind them, and everyone quickly turned around to see that Frieza had targeted for Dende!
"DENDE!" Ocarin cried out.
"NO!" Gohan shouted.
"That's one down and I didn't even break a sweat." Frieza said, coldly.
"No, Dende." Gohan gritted his teeth angrily.
"He saw Dende use his powers to heal us and that's when he decided to take him out first." Piccolo gasped.
"You'll pay for this.." Ocarin growled. "YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" She screamed furiously at Frieza before emitting a bright and blinding blue light.
Gohan, Krillin, Necke, Vegeta and Piccolo saw Ocarin's skin began to flicker turning a pale blue and her hair white and wavier.

"Z broly > Super Broly as a character"
Explain. Elaborate.
Oooh thanks for the ask!! Lol this got long, apologies ahead of time
Okay so first all, people COMPLETELY MISUNDERSTAND Z Broly as a character. Like, they take what he became in movie 10/Second Coming, with no context, meme on that, and think that’s his entire character. When that is sooo far from the truth.
First of all, Z Broly in movie 8/Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan is very subtle as a character. They don’t outright spell out things for you about him or why he does what he does(ex, attacking Gohan, but I’ll get to that later), the backstory especially is very metaphorical.
Broly doesn’t hate Goku because of crying. Broly is a Saiyan and what are Saiyans first and foremost? Fighters. And Broly “lost” against Goku for being hurt by his crying. That’s why right before Goku has that final punch, he flashes back to that moment of when he was a baby, not only being left for dead as Planet Vegeta was being blown up, he remembers being “defeated” by Kakarot just as he’s about to beat him again. He gets punched in the exact same spot he was stabbed as a baby.
People like to criticize Z Broly as “he hates Goku cause he cried” or “all he says is Kakarot” which both are false. Similar to Vegeta, Broly hates Goku because Goku bested him. One way or another, despite him being so weak, Goku “beat” the Legendary Super Saiyan.
On the first point, Broly is clearly mentally unstable. The power was too much for him even at a young age and turned him into a psychopath. He was stabbed as an infant and left to die along with Paragus cause he was too powerful. Then that same day Planet Vegeta explodes practically on top of them. The rest of his life hes basically either being controlled or on a rampage. He likes destruction. He likes fighting, loves it actually. You can see it during his fights in Movie 8.
On the second point, Broly was already mentally unstable in movie 8 when Goku punched a hole in him. Broly literally exploded cause he had so much power in him. and then nearly dying, getting caught in the explosion of a SECOND PLANET. and then being frozen for seven years, near death. It’s like that final cord snapped.
Once again, woken up by the cries of Goten (aka being defeated by Goku AGAIN). He’s so blinded by his rage of beating Goku that it’s all he cares about. And when Goku actually shows up in Second Coming, the dude smirks and starts laughing.
Z Broly has really awesome moments and there’s a reason why he’s a popular villain. Just watch the scene of him blowing up the planet of those little alien guys. “I bet you look up at your silly little planet, hoping you can go back there some day….WELL ITS JUST A DREAM!!” And then boom. It’s really dark and I love it.
He shows a lot of personality and cunning, like when he senses the hidden power of Gohan, stares at him for a moment and then purposely attacks Gohan to take him out first. “Kakarot, how much do you love your son??”
The way he kills Paragus is also sick. “Where do you think you’re going dad?” And then turns the pod into a javelin with him in it and throws the thing into the fucking comet. 💯
Unrelated but I think it’s cool how Goku seemingly absorbed Broly’s LSSJ power for a moment. When everyone gives him energy his hair flashes the green tint for a moment while Broly loses the green, and just has the normal SSJ yellow
Then we have DBS Broly. It’s kinda the same, with being tossed away to die cause King Vegeta is a bitch, but removes any connection to Goku and makes it more tragic. And according to most fans, if background is a sobstory, that equals better character.
NO. Tragic backstories are so common nowadays they’re boring.
sure it could, but that trope was so worn out so long ago I hate it. “waaa his life was bad, hes not a bad guy” bruh i dont care thats not Broly. just make an OC if you wanna do that. but nope. gotta use the marketing! (More on that later)
New Broly is legit a man-baby. People talk about old Broly having no personality and this new version having a deep character, but I dont see it. He acts like a child when hes with Cheelai and Lemo. There’s no real personality traits beyond “doesnt understand society.” basically just made him Saiyan Tarzan with anger issues, which isn’t addressed he just gets mad and loses control and turns SSJ after seeing Paragus die. They basically took Gohan’s rage boosts and gave it to him lol
They kept Paragus being a bastard which was cool, but DBS Broly being uwu-fied and then shipped with Cheelai (who literally has no reason to exist beyond waifu bait) never appealed to me
Hey remember when people say Z Broly does nothing but scream?
In Super Broly, once the fighting starts, he doesnt say a single word but yell. Aka for over half the movie, Brolys dialogue is nothing but RAAAAAAAAAH. Even the actual dialogue DBS Broly has is minimal
SOUND FAMILIAR??
But he gets a pass because the canon police says so right??? Nah
New Broly is boring. They brought him back and made him fight Gogeta because of fanservice and marketing.
Sorry for the rant lol but yeah this is how I feel

Dragon Ball Z: Abridged Episode 45 Review
Originally posted May 6th, 2016
Characters are shuffled, and momentum is lost.
Tumblr media
“Hyperbolic Plot Device” is one of many episodes of Dragonball Z: Abridged that has been consistently difficult to review. So many episodes of this show have to, by necessity, spend a decent amount of time shuffling characters into different locations so that the characters can confront one another in a fun action set-piece, only to then have to be shuffled around to the next fight.
This has actually caused me to consistently question whether I should be reviewing episodes individually, as the episodes where characters are shuffled often directly lead into and are complimented by the action-packed episodes that follow them, and I’ve often felt like I might be unfairly judging the shuffling episodes, believing that it would be more fair to weigh the episodes on their collective merits rather than their individual merit.1
Of course, ultimately, each episode is its own individual entity, and it does have to be weighed primarily on its individual merits, and the merits of “Hyperbolic Plot Device” are unquestionably lacking. Most of the episode is spent with Krillin and company, who spend the entire episode wandering around aimlessly until deciding to go to Kame House, because Goku is awake and they naturally don’t have to worry about Cell anymore.
This, of course, puts them directly in the path of the Androids, and the only reason this pays off is because they earlier established that the Dragonballs are no longer in existence, putting them in actual mortal peril. While the battle between a fusion powered Piccolo and the three Androids is a great teaser for the next episode, the approach to it isn’t earned, and given that we spend about a third of the episode getting these characters into the path of the Androids, it makes the episode somewhat unsatisfying as a whole.
Thankfully, half of the episode, which follows Goku as he takes the other Saiyans to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, doesn’t share these issues. This half is entirely driven by Goku, who, yes, wants to train like he always does, but his need for training is motivated by the threat of Cell on the horizon.
This is fairly simple storytelling, of course, but it’s complimented by the fact that Goku, the lead protagonist of the show, is finally back from his plot-mandated heart-attack, and it’s genuinely fun to see him back and interacting with his son, Vegeta, and Mr. Popo, all of whom have great contrasting dynamics with him.3 Perhaps absence may have made my heart grow fonder, but regardless, the return of Goku is incredibly welcome, and brings focus to what would otherwise have been a very misguided episode.
Rating: 4/5

Stray Observations
1It obviously is far too late to change the format of these reviews, but if you ever wondered why my reviews of the specials or films have tended to be quite a bit longer than most of my reviews of the episodes, then you now know why. It is very difficult to write a lot about characters being shuffled around, but the specials and films all have character driven plots with a beginning, middle, and end, which makes everything so much easier to write about.
2Piccolo essentially complains about this, but his complaints don’t change that they’ve taken a break for no apparent reason.
3Trunks’ dynamic with Goku is pretty comparable to Gohan’s, only without any of father issues that make Gohan and Goku’s relationship actually interesting. Trunks (rightfully) has all of that saved for his own father.
The Androids also take up the last bit of the episode, and they have solid motivation as well (which they’ve had since they were introduced). It was also quite satisfying to see Android 16 take control, even if it was only for a moment.
“This is supposed to be a place of fun!”
Trunks: “Notice me!” Vegeta: “No!”
Goku: “I was having a ninja dream, but it ended.” Hehe, clever timing, because Naruto had just ended, and so his ninja dream ended, and that’s… Okay, yeah, shutting up now.
Chi Chi’s demand that Goku put another baby in her probably should feel sexist or reductive, but it doesn’t at all. I credit that to the decision of Team Four Star to, since the beginning, equate Chi Chi’s strength and rage with the passion of motherhood, meaning that when she asks for another child, it’s because raising her children is the greatest joy of her life, and that joy is the only thing that can compensate for the endless stupidity Goku gets himself and Gohan involved in.
Goku: “When you fall off that horse, you get right back up, and you eat that horse! Come eat that horse with me Vegeta!”
Mr. Popo: “Here it is, maggots, the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.” Goku: “Wait, I thought it was called the Room of Spirit and Time?” Mr. Popo: “I said that ‘cause you kept mispronouncing it.”

Dragon Ball Super Super Hero AAAAA
I got to see the new movie in the theater today so it's finally time for spoiler coverage! I was going to get a picture with my ticket, but the online purchase QR didn't get us any... Anyway, onto the movie.
I really enjoyed this movie! It was really nice to see the B-Team become the A-Team in this one- it's always the Goku and Vegeta Show so this was a nice breath of fresh air.
Really cute fluffiness abounds with Pan and Piccolo, who seems to be playing the job of second dad since Gohan can't seem to be able to pick up his own kid from school. He did have his redeeming dad points and this guy just wants to nerd out about his Super Saiyants.
Love that Piccolo pretty much got forcibly indoctrinated in to the penguin nya cat collection- "ONE WAS ENOUGH" can't stop Gohan and Videl from giving him more plushies. And his super hearing unfortunately comes in handy for hearing his meow meow ringtone a mile away. It's even his phone case for his phone that he holds like a boomer. Had to stop my bro from starting to hold his phone like that after the movie.
Also the cute little detail that Piccolo has to remind Videl that he sustains on water- and Pan keeps a spare bottle for him!
Gotta sprinkle some love on the Gammas, they're even more fun than I imagined, dig their vibe even as background elements. And the comic book sfx weren't just stylization they were actually VISIBLE in canon. Sad that we lost my favorite, Gamma 2- he was the real super hero (almost thought he was going to get 16 bootstomped)
The Red Ribbon propaganda saying that Capsule Corp is a front for space alien invasion, wow
The Goku and Vegeta sections were also pretty enjoyable- they figured out Jiren! Meanwhile, they're giving Broly lessons in temper control, so glad it wasn't giving him Blue. Plus, it's a way for him, Lemo and Cheelai to lay low away from Frieza. Seems Lemo's the cook of the operation (so good that Whis almost got fired- "I can't live on the streets!")
...Was not expecting the Cheelai x Beerus crack ship to surface.
And a little comedically placed ice cream container conveniently kept the main Saiyan train out of the A-plot. Eat your ice cream, Broly :)
Gohan when threatened with a gun: (casual swat) "I'm calling the cops."
Gohan goes absolutely feral when you mess with his daughter.
How they managed to get Pan to play along with the kidnapping to get Gohan to give his all (what the heck Piccolo, you crazy). Pan would be the type of kidnapping victim to ask the kidnapper to cut the crusts off her sandwich.
Dr Hedo just wants to have fun- and I did not expect the family relations there with Gero despite the vomit pun being right there. Plus, confirmation that 21 was Gero's wife and 16 was his son- plus some other hidden kid. Plus Magenta inheriting Red's lack of height gene.
Bulma: "I've gathered all the strongest warriors on Earth... and Krillin."
DUDE!
Speaking of Bulma, we can see she's still making frivolous cosmetic wishes on the dragon. Didn't expect Shenron to say "your buns are now perf". Glad they could find Hedo a new job fulfilling her plastic surgery needs with his bio skin tech (Krillin, the literal cop, didn't want him in jail).
We got Gotenks baited. They fail the fusion dance, but Fat Gotenks does get volleyballed around and is useful as an attack- then they do it correct and promptly pan away from it.
Now for the big spoilers I dodged by a hair-
CELL MAX- I was somewhat expecting Cell in some form, but wow. Red Semi perfect kaiju was definitely not on the prediction bingo, got a bit nervous that 18 had to come help.
ORANGE PICCOLO - Piccolo's turning all sorts of colors, green, olive yellow, FANTA. Glad he got his potential boost. He's not going with any fancy names, he's calling it what it is. Didn't expect the Pirina buff- and nice callback to OG Dragon Ball with the giant form. Glad Krillin came along to remember that.
GOHAN BLANCO - With that SHWINK realization effect ala Super Saiyan 2 awakening, Gohan got a new form! A white-haired form, Gohan Blanco is canon- wiki's telling me it's Gohan Beast but it's Gohan Blanco in my heart. Kinda pointy but I do like the growl effect on the voice- it's like Super Saiyan 4- that makes me see why it's called Beast.
Also, cute note, apparently Gohan is straight up Velma and can't see without his glasses. He loses a Senzu Bean down the crack, now we know why he missed the Potara. Gohan needs his specs, plus Super Saiyan fixes his eyesight it seems. He asks Pan to help him find his glasses- and if you look in the corner she does! Before promptly smiling, trying to put them on, and then THROWING THEM.
Overall, very cool movie that used its normally side characters very well in higher roles (even though Krillin's kinda the butt of the joke).
Oh, and we can't forget Frieza's "role" in the movie:
Tumblr media
(He did a little spin)
Also, Vegeta finally defeated Goku in the post-credits scene :)
