literally pushes you onto the couch, rests his head on your lap and makes sure you are not moving for the next five hours or so. he's gonna do all that and then apologise for your sore legs. anyways, just loves listening to you talk, your voice is his favourite comfort.

would prefer baby talk but he'd rather avoid it cause his members do that all the time. just needs you to tell him he's doing great and shit cause bro he needs it. like so bad. in general, just the type to lay on your legs or tummy, while you play with his fingers. you get me.

hi everyone! i don't think people are really interested but since i started talking about a possible disability, my cane, etc, on here, i thought i might update jsjsj

SO i went to the doctors three (i think?) weeks ago, and he told me that the problems i was having were caused by bad posture and my feet are a weird shape because of me walking weird (i was not aware of this lmaooo). so he said i should start swimming (i was gonna start this week but i got super sick).

the problem. my issues are DEFINETLY not caused by the shape of my feet and poor posture. i mean, i could certainly improve my posture and do more exercise (in fact, i'm working on it, remembering to sit up straight, doing stretching/yoga usually once a day, etc), but like?? theres def an underlying problem that i think is chronic pain and fatigue. like, doing simple tasks around the house leaves me pretty tired (like now for example, i washed the dishes, cleaned the stove and brushed the floor, and my back, arms and knees are KILLING me, and i feel pretty lightheaded). so yeah, i know this is most likely worsened by the fact that im sick and on my period (triple whammy lmao) but its been getting worse for over a month. like, i leave my house and stay out for like 3-4h doing errands and shit and i can barely walk home, having to use my cane AND my mum's support to walk around. it just kills me. plus sometimes my legs get so tired from pain and shit that my knees buckle and they hit the floor, overall making it worse. plus my fucking migraines-

okay, im SO SORRY for ranting about this, its turned into a vent about my pain and honestly you dont have to read it. the thing is that me and my mum were planning to go to the emergency room at some point when possible, but today she told me to call my regular doctor? i haven't done it yet since i want her to explain why to me.

one big problem regarding this is that i downgrade my symptoms to people, i worry about being a nuisance. however, i do this at the doctors too, and thats not good because they wont take me seriously unless i tell them everything (and maybe even exaggerate a little, everyone says to do it). if anyone has any tips for this lmk .

also! i quite like my cane but sometimes i believe that i could use some more support, and i really hurt my arms and shoulders using my cane. i was looking into crutches? im honestly not sure. anyways, if you have an opinion also lmk <3

i apologise for this absolute rant, but i think i needed it, thanks for reading if you've reached here

Don't apologize! It happens to the best of us :] I appreciate the clarification! But I wouldn't blame people if they mistook my animatronics for one another, so it's not too far of a stretch! Thank you so much! LMAO I struggle so hard with them it means a lot that they look fine in my style. I've had a lot of people say my artstyle is blocky and sometimes I get worried if it'd look too weird on the animatronics. Glad to know it works well with my style, but I still have very much a lot to improve on! It's just taking some time to get used to drawing the animatronics! Don't worry, I'm sure your art of them is lovely, but I wouldn't blame you for having a hard time with them, they're quite complicated to really properly stylize and sometimes you'd have to evaluate what kind of feeling you want people to get from the animatronics (to anthropomorphize them so they can be easier to express? to capture that uncanny valley feeling like how Scott did? to be more mechanical?), which I understand with it being tricky to truly capture! I struggle with that a lot too! Take your time on what you'd want to do with them, and have faith in your art and what you intend to do with them ^^

Yooo, really random thought lmao, but you know how familiars are allowed in NRC, like how Grim was thought to be Yuu's familiar at first? Do you think any of the boys have a familiar? If not, who do you think would be most likely to have one, and what would their familiar be? It'd kinda be cool for Crowley to have a ton of Crow familiars watching over campus or maybe Riddle with a cute lil hedgehog :)) I was just curious, especially how we haven't seen any familiars save for Lucious maybe? it's a bit funny how there was this random lore drop and. it's just never mentioned again. nada. no one has a familiar, it's not a plot point that's brought up again, they didn't even expand on the concept. I do hope they bring it back, as it's such an insteresting dynamic to add to their world!

I guess we could think that only beast tamers have familiars? as MC is enrolled at NRC as a beast tamer, that would make Grim their familiar, thus making him able to take part on the pratical magic classes in MC's place. plus, in the start of the game Crowley mentions how some familiars are more rebelious and difficult to deal with, so maybe being a beast tamer is not a necessary requirement, but something that would be a great help in this aspect.

I do like the theory of Grim actually being MC's familiar, even if neither of them are aware of it! not sure how canon it might prove itself to be, but Grim and MC definetly have some kind of connection, for sure. I think Grim has a paw in what brought MC to Twisted Wonderland in the first place, but I'm not sure what exactly that would be.

I don't think the boys have familiars, as I have the impression it's more common for wizards that already completed their college education to have them. not that's impossible for a student to have one, but it makes more sense in my head that way ig?? like, it seems to be a harder and more advanced branch of magic, so it'd make sense for them to need a complete education in order to have one.

the most likely would be Lilia, a bat (cliche, I know, but look, Lilia already have those bats that follow him to classes, so it's not a stretch to think they are his familiars), Malleus, a raven (making a reference to Diablo, Malificent's pet raven), or Leona (I'm not sure how a beastman would behave with a familiar? but I think it'd be a lion because. c'mon he's a lion too). as I explained, I choose them since they have more experience and are extremely powerful mages already, so I could see it!

I agree, it'd be really cool for Crowley to have familiar crows, especially if they helped around campus! stopping to think of it, it makes a lot of sense, since Crowley always seems to know what's going on campus at all times, so that'd explain it, as he'd be able to have eyes everywhere at the same time like this. I think Crewel might have dog familiars too! and, as you mentioned, Lucious as Trein's familiar. Vargas is not allowed near any animal. Sam is already happy with his friends from the other side, no need for a familiar.

for the other boys, I can imagine them having familiars (in the future) that reference the movies they were twisted from. Riddle with hedgehogs, Cater with a rabbit, Trey with a dormouse or a hare, Deuce with a flamingo (which would be very funny), Ace with a turtle, Che'nya with a cat, the Savanaclaw boys with their respective animals, same for the Octavinelle boys, Kalim with a tiger, Jamil with a parrot (which is a headcanon I love), Vil with a peacock, Rook (which is concerning to think about with any animal at all) with a hawk, Epel with a sparrow, Neige with a deer, Idia with a dog (which is ironic considering he likes cats more, but Cerberus.), I can't think of one for Ortho since he's kind of a robot and I'm not sure if he'd be able to have a familiar at all? anyways, a crocodile for Sebek and literally any forest animal for Silver (they are all his familiars. squirrels sparrows owls rabbits you name it).

it's a very interesting concept to think about and it'd be very endearing to see more pets around campus, so I hope they'll mention it sometime again and expand on it!

let's talk about the parallels between vincenzo kneeling in front of the gun and joon woo kneeling front of the gun:

disclaimer: some of these might be a stretch lol but i'm just writing as my brain comes up with stuff so read with like a heap of salt. as always, feel free to add on!!

As @kestrel-of-herran pointed out in this post, Vincenzo and Joon woo/Han-seok are narrative doubles and it wasn't until she pointed it out that i really took note of how paralleled their stories are.

Han-Seok is the son of a powerful man, with a half-brother, Han-Seo, that has dragged him down/that he is better than at every turn. Similarly, Vincenzo's adoptive father is a powerful mafia man, and he has a step? brother (i'm not sure what to call him) Paulo, that has dragged him down/Vincenzo is better than at every turn. Both Vincenzo and Han-Seok has a soft spot for their mothers, who were wronged by a man and both of them got revenge: Han-Seok killed his own father, and Vincenzo screwed over the son and wife of the man who jailed his mother.

Han-Seok is a foreigner, a man who studied and was assumed to be in the States, that sneakily arrived in Korea to reestablish his hold on his goal, the Babel group and the Babel tower. Vincenzo is a foreigner, a man who grew up in Italy and arrived in Korea to get his hold on his goal, the plaza and the gold. Han-Seok refuses his true name and goes by Jun-Woo/Jason whereas Vincenzo refuses his true korean name and goes by his Italian one. Both Vincenzo and Han-Seok presents themselves as something they are not: Han-Seok as a lowly intern at a law firm and Vincenzo as a simple Italian man who is there to take care of his investment. Both have a reveal that they aren't who they say they are, one during a game of mafia and the other while exchanging information with Cha-Young and another time in front of the world.

Both of them work with two stubborn, dramatic women who are willing to be ruthless to get their way: Choi Myung-He and Hong Cha-Young and both of them are vying for Cha-Young's attention. Their stories parallel each other in every turn but they are standing at different points in the story. Both of them are also presented similarly in clothing after the reveal happens: Vincenzo's clothes gradually switches to lighter colors and Han-Seok's clothes gradually get darker. Both of them are presented in a Boolaro suit when they make their "true" arrival into Korea to establish that they are equal/at the same level as each other.

Vincenzo and Han-Seok are willing to do anything for their goals, but Han-Seok is focused on playing god in this story or attempting to reach that level (there was a post? or a conversation? about this earlier with Han-Seok/Han-Seo and Babel being like an allegory for stories from the Bible).

So it's very interesting to see that when Vincenzo kneels, the gun pointed to his head, he parallels Han-Seok's expressions. In Han-Seok's scene, the one holding the gun is his weakness and the one he cannot beat whereas, in Vincenzo's scene it is his own family holding the gun (albeit, it is the part that turned on him after he left Italy).

Han-Seok will harm anyone, except directly harm Cha-young (so far), so it makes sense that his true opponent and the one person who has him beat is Vincenzo, who is equal to him/is like him. This is why I think that Han-Seok is accepting of his death when Vincenzo holds the gun to his head, and speeding the process up. He is able to accept death because it is being dealt by a figure that is close to his status/what he considers his equal.

What I think would be interesting, or truly more painful to him, is Han-Seo delivering a final blow towards his head as Han-Seok does not consider his brother his equal and it will crush his whole "god" status he attaches to himself if he is killed by someone of "lower" status. (You can also say that Vincenzo looks less accepting of his death because it is being dealt by Paulo, someone that is of a "lower" status, but I don't think he'll die in this anyways) After Han-Seok scene, the story changes into him developing into his role as the true villain and I anticipate that after this scene, Vincenzo's story will also twist and the show will go deeper into planning the downfall of Babel.

Thank you for answering my Kai ask <3 that was a very interesting read! (btw you're so eloquent in the way you write, I really admire that. Maybe it's cuz I write scientific papers all the time, so when it comes to art and music I'm not knowledgeable at all)

You're right, when I wrote the ask it was before the teasers for the Peaches comeback dropped. But tbh even back then I didn't exactly think that Kai and Rain are similar dancers. I saw someone say that in a video, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to point out how they're similar or not, so I wanted to ask you. Like you said, Rain has more of a hiphop style and Kai does have the ballet background (in very simplified terms)

I feel like the words "fill a void that Rain left" came off a bit ignorant, which definetly was not my intention. Rain released music in the (very successful) project group with Lee Hyori and Yoo Jaesuk, then the songs with Chungha and JYP. What I wanted to say is that Rain is way past the "active kpop idol" stage. He doesn't have to churn out comebacks all the time and instead can focus on what he wants to do, whether it's TV shows/kdramas/music or his personal life and taking a break.

aww thank you for thinking i'm eloquent even though some of that post was a stretch at best. it just comes from many years of writing analytical essays for university and it really is just a different skillset than writing scientific papers, of which i would be horrible at.

i wouldn't necessarily say that it was you being ignorant because i didn't get that from the ask, because i have also heard people express that type of sentiment before, just not also attaching kai to it. and i'm glad that you asked me about it because this is the exact reason my inbox is open! also it made me think about something i hadn't before, which is also good. but that's definitely a common phrase that people use in relation to idols leaving for enlistment and/or becoming less active, i see it a LOT on twitter in relation to taemin and i think it's just a bad phrase in general, because it forces comparisions between artists that aren't necessary and also it almost erases that artist's catalogue. like taemin didn't leave a void in kpop because he didn't disappear off the face of the planet and take his entire discography with him; it's all still there and still influential on the industry. and it's the same with rain. but yes there is absolutely a difference between how active rain is as an idol and how active a younger idol like kai is. although kai has been comparably less active than rain because he hasn't promoted on a music show in a year because exo's still on hiatus lmao. now that there are more idols aging with the industry it's now become obvious that there's a couple different phases of what being an 'active' idol means, even if the predominant population are the ones that are churning out comebacks 3+ times a year. personally i want them all to be able to take time off or be choosy with their projects like rain is, but rookies (and even established idols) don't have the same flexibility and most importantly, security, sadly.

My first Mabon pt.1 🍂🍁✨

Hello dearests! I’ve missed this soooo much!!

I can happily report I survived last school year and did a little detox this summer from most social medias so that I was well rested for this semester. I’ve taken a break from so many things, including all things witchy, mainly to stay focused. I slowly came back to it this summer but now I’m fully back on it!

This was my first official Mabon. Last year I didn’t observe it (rahter I observed it from a distance lmao), because it wasn’t until Samhain that I felt confident. Mabon is a little underrated in my opinion. It is such a beautiful time to celebrate, and definetly one of my favourite moments of the year. This is part one, because celebrations wont be over until the 29th, and I intend on stretching it until then!

As of now, this is what I’ve been doing :)

I made sure the 21st I was in my country home. I’m very fortunate, my family bought a new home in the countryside and it is a literal fairytale up here. That day I slept in, I woke up at around 10 am and had a hefty breakfast. Fresh bread with warm milk and honey (I like to keep it simple when produce is sooo yummy, everything we buy here is local and organic). My dad likes to play jazz music in the morning in his little speaker, so I was in a beautiful mood. I did some spicy yoga right after (I’m still sore, it’s been two days). Yoga has been a new incorporation to my craft lately, it is a wonderful grounding excercise. As soon as i was done, and before showering I went outside, with my big brown boots and my red poncho (it rained on and off all day), to go greet my plants and tend to their needs. I ended up spending the rest of the morning picking hazelnuts and walnuts from the litle grove that’s in the back of the garden. I made sure to only keep the ones that weren’t already “claimed” (meaning if it had a hole in it, it wasn’t mine to take. My family just goes and takes them all and then throws away the “claimed” ones, but those nuts also feed the squirrels and the mice in the garden. We can all have our little bit of it 😊). I also picked some acorns to bless and have as talismans for me and my friends. I had a good meal with beautiful company for lunch and I spent the rest of the day tending the frontyard and indoor plants. It was such a wholesome day.

On Sunday I had to travel back to my house, so I couldn’t do much, but today I’ve picked up where I left off!

Today I blessed some of the hazelnuts, that I’ve incorporated into my altar (my altar is not fully done, I’ll post a picture of my updated one this week) and charged a milky quartz to carry with me (for clarity, inner peace and spiritual grounding). I also did a small cleansing of my room (if even one person is interested in my cleansing ritual I’ll happily post it 💚) and I did a cleansing ritual in the shower for myself (I brought in the milky quartz, it got really fun).

For some reason it feels right to eat as simple and raw as possible, so I dont have anything remotely processed, I’m also reducing meat (I can’t be a vegetarian just now for health reasons) and having seasonal spices with literally everything.

My only advice for this time is to take things slow. To stress a little less and give more importance to what’s right in front of you, and be mindful of the waning of this seasonal cycle. If you do that, I believe you can already say you’re celebrating Mabon :)

Those two got a whole ass story (not a story about ass i just keep putting the word ass everywhere).

They were besties as kids, like, very young kids, talking inseparable besties. But, one day, quite suddenly Xiaoli’s family had to move back to China and so the two were seperated with no ways to contact or even ideas as to where the other was (factor in the fact that they were still very young and all, and if we take time into account that must mean they were in some time of barely no internet for everyone so prolly didnt have even emails tbh). The whole story i got planned for em is about how they grow up, evolve, yet still try to find each other again through the few pieces of useful information that they remember from back in the days. (and since im a sucker for happy ending it aint no spoiler that they do find each other at the end or smth like, pls, id die if they didnt. the important part is the path they took, and all the shit that happens in between ofc)

but who cares bout plot tbh, the important thing is the cHARACTERS (i kno cause my studies include storytelling classes so like bitch, i kno the story is the characters and all that jazz) so lets talk about the boys themselves some more, shall we uwu

Lets start with Vince, who’s the youngest of the two :

first thing i gotta say is that he changed a LOT design wise, like his first looks ?? wack.

anyway now he looks like a baby and that’s all that matters.

(that was def done for a school exercise but look how cute he is awn)

He lives in the US, born of Ecuadorian parents. Ever since he was tiny he wanted only one thing, and that is to Win Gold at the olympics (yeah i know, small ambitions, what can i say he’s a realist at heart) for tracks (aint decided yet what exact part of tracks cause im not knowledgeable in track n field and i still gotta do my research boo bad me for procrastinating).

So he runs. A lot. That’s his main thing. A big part of his identity. But not all of it naturally otherwise he’d be a running robot not a guy.

He’s still very young so he can be a tad stupid, naturally. He’s also close to his family. And he big gay. He’s a friendly guy, the puppy type with others. He’s really big on listening to his friends vent out since he believes it does a lot to relieve stress (and ya cant be stressed if you want to perform amazing !!!)

He’s kiiiiind of an overachiever. Just a small bit. He wants to do perfect all the time, so he studies a lot, trains a lot, cleans his room, does his bed, brushes his teeth, he’s a Good Kid. He’s got a really strict timetable that he follows really closely, and in general, tends to monitor his life, maybe a biiiiit too much ? Even leisure time is a specific moment of the day, a set time, nothing more. Then he goes to bed, early, so he can get a full good sleep and go run in the morning. He needs to learn how to chill a bit more. He does have friends to help him get back into a more relaxed mindset sometimes, and once he reunites with his long lost bestie he definetly will have to accept a biiiit of chaos and imprevisible...

Cause let’s talk a bit bout Xiaoli huhuhu...

At first glance you may think “oh, what a reliable serious pretty boy, he seems nice and helpful” but he’s actually a sNAKE. Or more like a fox ? I’m no vet so I’m not sure what animal analogy fits best...

Fact is he IS reliable, and nice, but he’s ALSO a bitch. If you’re pal with him he’ll help you out with your homework, listen to you rant about a heartbreak, be a total sweetheart, but if you’re his FRieND then you’ll get that but under snarky remarks, teasing, and he’ll probably record you when you’re doing ridiculous drunk antics or just tripping over your own feet...

actually he def will do that.

He’s also very expressive and open, he’s one of those characters that i like to use for expression practice because his face will stretch in any possible way. He still keeps secrets tho, mostly he doesnt talk at all about his search for Vince (probably because he’s got the biggest lead, namely having randomly found him once through his running exploits and discovering his past bestie was now becoming some sort of “upcoming athlete celebrity you have to keep an eye out for” or something...)

He actually studies medecine, not computer science but tbh, I could change it in the future, its nothing fixed nor anything too relevant to his character dshsfsgs, and also he IS pretty tech savy so that’d make sense mh.....can you believe im gonna turn into those creators who take “fan theories” and turn them canon smh

He’s quite likes going out, partying and having fun. He values balance between work and fun above a lot of things, and he’s also not much of a big planner.

Also since I mentionned it for Vince, lets make it equal : he’s a HongKong resident, his mum is half Australian so that makes him a ? Quarterie ? Is there a word for half-halfie ? Idk man. And he’s very very bi, and quite chill about it, and quite absolutely into getting dates.

Those two got some potential for me to turn them into a story so i kinda hope i’ll be able to some time in the future, who knows, maybe that’ll happen somedays uwu
